A

joyous

time it was when

I was young. Despite the

chill, to the wind my cares were flung

in winter’s world of trees with garlands hung

and carols brightly sung when the

bells were

rung!

Tiranga

Tiranga (Tricolour)

First unfurled, was the Indian tricolor;
on Everest, the world's highest peak.
All the three colours are deliberated
to give some message and speak.

Dark saffron, white and Indian green,
the three colours of Indian national flag;
all in horizontal rectangular bars,
top to bottom, respectively placed.

Green band at bottom tells Indians,
grow with greenery and agriculture;
White band in middle of it, gives us
message of peace, truth and culture.

Saffron says, be brave and courageous,
don't hesitate to sacrifice if nation needs;
Wheel of twenty four spokes at centre tells,
on the path of progress always proceed.

Made of hand spun Indian cloth, Khadi,
at one hand symbolises pride of nation;
Design and colour on the other, say symbolically
what ought to do the great Indians.

On every Independence and republic days
Tiranga is unfurled widely in the country.
That reminds the people; be nice, graceful,
peaceful, prosper and keep in mind your duty.

A Somewhere Paris Cafe

A haze…
Languorous oft in summer days
Where sundrops drip
From melting skies
Onto city grind
And parasols shade the cobbled grays

Across back alley lanes
Trains and trolleys tip toe by
As a fool in love forever waits
Among a noon bistro Paris crowd
For his girl, who is always fashionably late
Outside a sidewalk somewhere café cityscape

Young beauties amidst a mid-day stroll
Becomingly, become ever respectively
The flowers that line the picket way
Or some frilly prize ponies
Beneath carousels about avenues of Torrid place

A testament to this…
The carriage horses that turn their whiny heads
And then, when I turn mine
It’s to witness boots of cavalier instead
That step to one side
For moments languor has left
As my own prize has made red carpets rise

Those flutter lashes like shotguns glint blasts
And soon the white dove makes its notorious descent
Where the gentlemen, unbeknownst to them, become like minded ruffians
As they dive into madness for her precious handkerchief

“Oh” this women of mine, she has her perculiar ways
Just like all the silly rest
My damsel mademoiselle never enters into throes of distress
Longer lace invites mischievous about a button down dress
And her kisses offer smiles and arduent waves
With utter love contempt to them, but my hand is her biggest praise

I guess it’s the thrill of the game
And she’s the tigress and I her willful prey
Opening up the Gazette, coffee I incredulous sip and purposely hide my face
As my sweet flora strolls my way
And lands into her lover's arms
In a somewhere summer Paris afternoon café

"The Heart Worn Lips"

She wore her heart on her lips as she spoke
the white owl sitting on one shoulder hooting wisdom
the black crow perched on the other hidden in shadow cawing dark things

the voice made moderate in the in-between
rolling out into the aether words like dice
flying to land like black-winged strokes on a wholesome alabaster page

the meaning captured more in the intonation
than the visual puzzle left wide open and waiting unexplained
for the taste of luck in the silent air, in circles the hungry eyes ever watching

the heart worn in flight
the lips stop speaking
the mind takes over

no sound

Candide Diderot. ‘24

"Endomorphism rings always have additive and multiplicative identities, respectively the zero map and identity map."

“I can feel myself slowly fading from your mind.”

Just Saying

Seems like the older I get
The younger I grow
Finding it hard to keep
My ducks in a row
Yes i see the fork in the road
Don't ask me
I know not which way to go
I'm just as lost as you
In case you didn't know
Your demeanor is weak
And starting to show
Peace of mind I seek
You just go with the flow
The knowledge I hide
You'll never know
No fault of mine
You respectively declined
Our Love and respect
Diminishes with time
You're starting to neglect
My intellectual divine
I'm starting to think
You're leaving me behind
For reasons unknown
Nothing but love
Have I've shown
Acceptance is dire
And i let it be known
My only desire
Was you

The Sentry

Posed such, in its formidable array
would guess that all protection in refer
not deem my soul respectively, relay
but from some archway's character of serve!

That guard of my esteem, not turning gray
is from some inner peace, not just of nerve
the loyalty I've bridged by my own stay
now chances not its entry as conserve.

For naught the times, nor beckoning's concur
that shoulder decorated stood its ground,
some rite of passage, measures not impure
or guesses at my fancy, or my frowned!

How steady in some answer of reserve
would guarantee its effort, so unbound,
that resolution's comfort not deserve
or its entailment daily ne'er impound!

Is freedom such an answer, I not need
when life holds such encumbrance up her sleeve,
prescribe me not, in entities concede
but brave begot ~ a childhood of bereave!

The Sentry, grasp the plot ~ remit, receive
to bear it all, a blossom of Faith's core
that from behind, attacks are so conceive
the narrowing's remind, an open door!

The harrowing of purging not refined
a net of undeniable content,
the message straight from cowardly assign
and from its framework, instigates resent!

That Hell be guarded once, and so confined
the nature of the whore that so compels,
is tempting of man's nature, so inclined
and reconciles its effort, "all is well!"

And so it be, prerogative regress
is functioned only lightly to incline
to rob my thought, my enemies redress
and matter less, to only spend my time!

Forfeits agenda, reconciles, climbs
that merit of dissension leaves encore,
all but that host's dimension steeps unbind
revolving with ascension ~ perish more ~

And tumbles its direction ~ out of line!

To be continued ~ The Sentry Rhymes ~ Dangerous times.

Note ~ Guard duty is one of the most sensitive, and loyal of commitments.
Such as that of a noble entity, a queen, an endangered person, or even
a family, spouse, children. Today our protection needs to be more loving,
more personal & caring, not back turning, and avoiding. Our own National
Guard need to be here, at home, on board, with their reason intact, and not
forged from some idealistic, protectionist bourgeois ~ needing to be
everywhere else!

Stress Not Mother

Please do not stress Mother dearest

As i do not want to add to your woes

But the dog has just come in covered
in ticks and fleas

And my sister and I have both knits and
scrapped knees respectively

So many troubles and this won't be the
last to try and comb over or sweep under
the already threadbare underlay or
cardboard box dinning table

Yet just more ammunition and stick's of
rock to be labeled and taunted by other's
with

Exactly just how much of laugh are you
having and enjoying at our expense

I've barely 23 cent's left after i've
settled my rent to patch up the
holes in the front door from the
bailiff's constantly knocking down
my door

But nevermind me what really strings
and breaks my heart are seeing my
children's faces bony and haunt

Like ghost's me do haunt knowing
hug's won't alone keep them warm
when the winter cold night's draw in

But those very kid's despite all of
this and apparently having nothing
are both happy and content at the
same time

Because 1 thing they know for sure
is that there are far worse fates than
being poor

So long as they know Mother loves
them

Check It Out Yourself

Come to see what I have found out on Poetry Soup
I just found out that ‘Categories’ box has been improved
Wherein more interesting stuffs to choose from have now been included
I just found another one
It’s the HTML guideline or note embedded
Immediately below the ‘Poem title’ box
And above the ‘Poem Text’ region
Immediately before the space provided
For the typing of your poems
You will see an instructive text
Telling you about how to customize or format
Your poem using one or more of the HTML’s tag
Three tags are currently available and are all allowed
It includes ‘’ at the beginning and ‘ ’
At the end of the portion of the poem you wish to format.
This is for ‘italics’.
The one for ‘bold’ and ‘center’ tags are
‘ ’ and ‘ respectively.
You can use them for the whole poem
Or one for a stanza, a line or an expression…
Within the poem if you like
Try them now and see it yourself
They’re meant for you and me.

Check it out yourself:
http://www.poetrysoup.com/member_area/submit_poems.aspx

Note: You won't space anything tag at all. I applied space because the system is so sensitive to each instruction.

Just trapped in a wrong body.

When time came he had to pee-

Used the room.... for "Men".

Grabberwocky-2

(November 2016)

Twas Hillig, but the Limey Gove
Did whine and witter in the Brext.
All Szyddly was the Orban cove
And Grabberwock out-Mexed.

“Beware the Grabberwock, my dear,
The salesman’s talk, the dubious thatch.
Beware his leakiwick, and fear
His groomious undersnatch.”

She took her righteous sword in hand.
Her people cried “Deplore, deplore!”
So rested she by the Dumdum tree—
And thought “deplore” some more.

And as in huffish thought she stood,
The Grabberwock, with hair aflame,
Came breitling through the barty wood,
And goebbelled as he came.

One, two! One, two! And through and through
His virtual blade went twitter-t***.
She got more voters, but he was POTUS
And he getrumphed like that:-

“See, I have slain the Hillinast!
I’ll build a wall, hire every mate!
I’ll bigly take America
And make it really grate.”

“I’ll put all Muslims in a book,
Intern them just like Nips,
And make sure Gooks use their own nukes
For the Trumpocalypse.”

“I’ll help the rich (more than that b****!).
I’ll make the bankers fat.
The blacks I’ll hump—and screw the Trump-
enproletariat.”

’Tis chillig. For the Sess-i-ones
Doth Bolt- and Bann-on on the right
All Vladdy are Assange’s tones
And prospects all outsh***.

1.	Needless to say, this is a parody of “Jabberwocky”, by Lewis Carroll
2.	The first “Grabberwocky” was a much better poem—a “Jabberwocky” parody written in 1939 (http://www.waxdog.com/jabberwocky/nazi.html). Thanks to this for general inspiration, the title and the sadly still relevant verb “to goebbel”.

Am I Dreaming

AM I DREAMING
Momentarily, I stop and freeze
every worldly movement and
activity. As I consume myself
into each one of them I ask
myself, ‘am I dreaming?’ my
mind moves to and fro the
realm of imaginations and
thoughts laboriously
endeavoring to overhaul its
wondrous question, ‘am I
dreaming?’
I slice myself off reality, while
floating in space my mind
engulfs reality and all earthly
entities and puts them under
ratiocination I still hear a voice
whispering from within my
head, ‘am I dreaming?’
I then start to analyze all
environments and focus only on
those preponderating. I look
and penetrate my eyes through
impenetrable penetrations, and
I begin to see, ‘is this realistic?’
I ask myself.
I see blameless bloodshed, I
see sin in its whole ugliness
pouring out of people’s mouths,
I see envy in people’s eyes, I
see extravagancy, and I see
impoverishment and its twin:
penury.
I stand still and maintain
silence, I hear a roaring noise,
and I ask myself what it is. It is
heavy blustering winds both
from east to west and west to
east acting as a transportation
medium for sinful noises, I hear
ill words from the east, I hear
blasphemous voices from the
west, and I hear
misconceptions.
I hear and see offensive insults
and figures respectively, they
shake my whole body vigorously
and I feel like waking up
abruptly because of the terror
and horror in my dream. Am I
dreaming?
