Glory In Heaven

To heaven we are called,
                   his glory for us all.

The meeting in the air,
                   to stand before his chair.

So many of us are shown,
                   the greatness of his throne.

We will praise our loving lord,
forever in him we are restored.

Before the sea of glass,
                   his overcomers did outlast.

We see our savior crowned,
the trump of God to sound.

From the midst of us he came,
the lamb of God was slain.

To take the book thereof,
from his fathers hand with love.

So glorious for us to be,
his kingdom forever is ours to see.

Praise To Jesus the Son of God

Sing Allelujahs
All stars in the midnight sky.
Giving God all praise!

Jesus our Saviour
Wonderful King of All Kings
Son of God Most High.

Son of the morning.
A lily of the valley
Bright and morning star

Fairest of the fair
Mighty warrior, Valient Prince
Glory be to God!

The Prophet and the Preacher

Brother Thomas was a preacher
Who knew the scriptures well.
He asked people to follow him,
And he'd save them from Hell.

One night while he was working late,
A man entered the church.
Brother Tom thought He was homeless,
Or on some kind of search.

The man was welcomed to the church,
A smile lit up Tom's face.
He said, if you seek salvation,
You've come to the right place.

This temple of God is Holy,
And I minister His word.
If you put your soul in my hands,
It will soar like a bird!

Those questions you've been burdened with,
Will prove a simple task.
I hold degrees in all of this,
You only have to ask.

But the man just starred right through him,
And then began to pray.
He said, "did I hear correctly,
In what I heard you say?"

"You have called this temple ‘Holy’,
Yet only God is so.
And you say you have the answers
That lost lambs need to know."

"Those degrees you so proudly wave
Were earned in schools of man.
But the heart was our Lord's classroom,
Since man's journey began."

"You claim to know what is the truth,
While pushing God aside.
And those, with whom you disagree,
You censor or deride."

"To follow the road to Heaven
A soul must walk alone.
How can you say you know my path,
When you don't know your own?"

Brother Thomas became angry,
Demanding that He leave.
You cannot come into my house
Intending to deceive!

"As you wish" proclaimed the stranger,
"You've asked me to depart.
But don't forget what I have said,
Let it grow in your heart."

And when He turned to waved goodbye,
Tom spied the stranger's hands.
He saw the scars, and heard Him say;
"Your Father understands."

These Three Are One

The living word we sow
From living waters flow
He heals the broken hearted
Precious Lord we've come to know

The Lord who sits on high
Whose glory never dies
He is God eternal
To him alone we cry

To God be all the glory
For giving us his son
The lamb of God is worthy
With Christ our battles won

We thankyou dear Lord Jesus
And praise you for each day
To the father, son and holy spirit
We kneel and pray today
Amen

He Got Up

On the third day,

Early, He got up!

He got up with all power in His hands.

The plans placed on Him by man,

Simply did not stand a chance!

He got up in a superb stance.

He got up after He died for us

On the cross so that we could

All have another chance.

The fact that He got up

Makes me want to scream,

Shout, sing, run and dance.

He did not have to die for you or me

On Calvary but He did and not only

That. He got up with all power in

His hands for all of us to have

Another chance. I hope that

This is something to you worth

Shouting about. God loved us

So much to send His only son

To die for us but not only that

He got up and that is good to me,

And should be good to you,

What Jesus did on Calvary,

And He got up on the third day,

Shows that God loves us in a special way!

This action is worth shouting about!

No doubt!

Premium Member God's Moon Pie

If God would take the moon

And make it into a great pie,

The sweet aroma of spice

And green apple would fill the sky.

He’d begin with the careful peeling,

Making the globe shining apple-white.

Then He’d find fixins’ to get it just right.

He would count the servings needed

For the whole world to be satisfied,

And choose just the right flavoring

To set all differences of taste aside,

But with all due respect to the bakers’ pride.

To provide for all the world’s problems,

God gives his secret spiritual answers.

So to the seasoning of the apples,

He adds His nine flavor enhancers.

With perfection, God takes no chances.

There is a pinch of peace, joy, and love,

For that aroma that rises above.

Then there is the patience, gentleness and grace,

So that humankind need not eat in haste.

He wants all to sense the goodness in the taste.

Next faith, modesty and moderation He adds,

And then more love he sprinkles in scads.

Here below our appetites we whet,

Our stomach’s pits to be satisfied.

Thankful for every morsel we get,

Until convinced our Lord is glorified.

Soon one could hardly see a crumb.

But we have no need at all to fear,

For at the end of daylight’s trusty gleam,

The moon again is a shining sphere.

The Pilgrimage

1 December 2010

The Pilgrimage

From young people of every nation
Will gather again to exalt
One faith in God for salvation
Inert spirit to offer salt

Will gather again to exalt
Jubilee of youth in pilgrimage
Inert spirit to offer salt
Of reaching hands, no blockage

Jubilee of youth in pilgrimage
To symbolize the living faith
Of reaching hands, no blockage
In horizon mingling with interfaith

To symbolize the living faith
Rainbow of races as covenant
In horizon mingling with interfaith
Song of praise resounding in rampant

Rainbow of races as covenant
One faith in God for salvation
Song of praise resounding in rampant
From young people of every nation

Prayer For South Monroe To Grow

Lord, I pray that you aid this part of town.

There are many who walk around with frowns,

And are quite gifted. I'm asking that you

In their desiny get lifted. Some don’t realize they

Are and the many that do realize leave here

And go very far away for work in a new place

To stay. My sincere prayer is that the future blooms,

Where it is planted and with your help this place

Becomes enchanted. A place that the only title

That we are concerned with is being a child of God,

And that we develop a kingdom mindset, and that

This place is ran in that manner, that we put on

Not just for our city but for God’s kingdom,

That other parts of the world will benefit,

From our prayers, our giving, our church planting,

Cultural and educational venues, food menus,

Hospitality, family values and an infinite list of positivity

That you God will continue, that this place is,

Known all over the world for setting trends,

Not for the glory of self, not just for seeking

Wealth, but the kingdom of God gains stealth.

I pray that the leaders are restored.

I pray that the spirit of racism,

No longer drives this place to destruction.

I pray that people who left here in drear,

In attempts to break the curse of poverty,

To return to live here the way God wants them to,

On the best side of town, the southside,

Of Roe City, where people are talented,

And have often faced challenges.

I pray that preachers and teachers teach,

Uncompromised and differentiate instruction.

I pray that principals and teachers,

Really care about the pupils

Instead of their pockets

And that the goals are to propel

Them like rockets.

I pray that the kingdom mindset

Is something that this city gets,

Applies, synthesizes, and that Satan’s

Plans for Monroe will not win anymore,

And that there is togetherness,

And prosperity from door to door.

Here I Come To Save the Day

God says, "Here I come to save the day!"

When Satan attacks you in every which of way.

God says, "Cast your cares on me!"

Then and only then you'll live in victory.

So when you're having a bad, bad day.

Start to say out loud to God, Father,

I know you're to save the day.

I offer you nothing but praise .

I have faith that you will face,

The disgraced Satan and send him,

Away steaming and shaking.

Woman or man of God, keep praying,

Keep praising, keep shouting, and not

Doubting, because God says," Here I

Come to save the day!" When Satan

Attacks you in every which of way.

Awesome God

You're an Awesome God and I can't complain.
We're holdling you gently and calling your name.
We're climbing a mountain high in the sky,
Dealing with man, we tend to ask why!
Through the storm of tribulating pain,
The Lord God is here to guide us through the rain.
"Leave it with God", now I've said it again.
He gave His only Son to wash away our sin!!
We deal with things that we don't have to,
Putting up with people who don't have a clue.
Broken hearts and endless tears,
I thought we'd grow stronger throughout the years!
The devil's a lie and tells not the truth.
He aggravates and destroys, something God wouldn't do!
We are soldiers in the Lord's army.
He loves and comforts and will never ignore me!!
The Paradise in Heaven which awaits,
I pray the Lord that I walk through the Pearly Gates.
Sooner than later, shall He come.
He will come for us ALL, and not just one!!

Methuselah - a Lesson In Assumptions

When I was just a little boy,
Attending Sunday school,
The story of Methuselah
Outshined the golden rule.

He was just like Rip Van Winkle,
A kind old gentleman,
Who lived more than nine hundred years;
The oldest living man.

And so I closed my story book,
Assumptions grew from there.
I wrote an ending in my mind,
And sealed it with a prayer.

But looking closer at the facts,
Something else emerges.
And here is where the fairytale
And the truth diverges.

His age was one eighty seven,
At his son Lamech’s birth.
One hundred eighty two years more,
And Noah graced the earth.

He was three hundred sixty nine,
When Noah joined the game.
And in Noah’s six hundredth year
The deluge waters came.

Scripture says Enoch and Noah,
Walked with God all their lives.
So God spared Noah’s family,
His sons, even their wives.

But what about Methuselah,
Was my assumption right?
Did he not also walk with God,
Into salvation’s light?

When the Lord said unto Noah,
In reference to mankind,
That their hearts were always evil;
Like each thought in their minds,

Was Methuselah excluded,
From God’s picture of men?
Did God call him a righteous man,
Whose heart was free of sin?

My assumptions were proven wrong,
The evidence was clear,
Methuselah’s death and the Flood
Occurred in the same year.

No scripture said he walked with God,
Or was a righteous man.
No word about a peaceful death,
Or any divine plan.

We just assumed the best for him,
For he had Adam’s blood.
We hoped that God had spared the man
From dying in the Flood.

The one who disregards the facts,
Clings to their presumptions.
And their beliefs are built upon
Incorrect assumptions.

Premium Member An Accuser's Prayer

Dear God, I am an accuser, an accuser to the bone.
Most times I accuse because I have been accused and left to fight alone.
So God I pray this prayer for freedom from the accusation into me that’s been sown,
That I may be loved and love others, instead of tackling this life on my own.

Dear God as it concerns love and hatred or freedom and destruction,
Let me not be caught up in categories or words of elitist presumption.
Please bless me to hate the deception but to unconditionally love the deceived.
Please bless me instead of judging those who judge, to with grace their pain relieve.
Please bless me to fight the lies of men, instead of fighting those caught in lies.
Please bless me to destroy pride’s delusion yet relentlessly defend from shame’s guise.
Please bless me, as I fight all error, to always search for the error within.
For none but one have conquered this darkness, that seeps into hearts as sin.
God please let healing be my ultimate goal, much more than to critique or guide.
But please help me to consider, how even in all of my pride,
The beauty I am as your child, every time I engage your eyes,
For true you see all my evil, but more so you see my fate,
To stand as a God incarnate, full of joy at heaven's gates.
This prayer I pray in Jesus' name at the risk of loosing much esteem,
For I am a lowly accuser, but HE is the source of all seeing and author of dreams.

A Warrior For Christ

In deep thoughts of unity.

It’s always a world, for someone else to please.

Along with pleasure there is always hard earned pain.

Sometimes death for someone else’s easy gain.

Look what we have, by the winners they lose.

They only win, upon the kill they choose.

So what we have since the beginning of time, my friends.

That Evil only wins, is when God is in not in, our presence,

I still hold my mighty shield, I always carry my great sword.

I never take off my armor, I live by the book of the lord.

A warrior for Christ I am, the devils works shall pay.

Am a warrior for my Lord, I serve God then do what he says.

To much going wrong, why do I only see what is right.

I will keep fighting for every soul that needs a Life.

Someday this will be over, that is what I always hear.

Then I realized, that was the Devil talking in my ears.

Gods Brilliant Purpose For You

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you, just remember.

Noah was a drunk
 Abraham was too old
 Isaac was a daydreamer
 Jacob was a liar
 Leah was ugly
 Joseph was abused
 Moses had a stuttering problem
 Gideon was afraid
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer
 Rahab was a prostitute
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young
David had an affair and was a murderer
 Elijah was suicidal
 Isaiah preached naked
 Jonah ran from God
 Naomi was a widow
 Job went bankrupt
 Peter denied Christ (3 times!)
The Disciples fell asleep while praying
 Martha worried about everything
 Mary Magdalene was promiscuous
the Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once...
 Zaccheus was too small
 Paul was too religious
 Timothy had an ulcer....

AND
 Lazarus was dead!
 Now! No more excuses!
God can use you to your full potential.
Besides, you aren't the message, you are just the
 messenger.
 And one more thing...

1. God wants spiritual fruits, not religious nuts.

2. "Dear God : I have a problem. It's me.

Answer from God: " My Dear Child: I have the solution. It's Me! !"

3. Growing old is inevitable ... growing UP is optional.

4. There is no key to happiness. The door is always open.

5. Silence is often misinterpreted but never misquoted.

6. Do the math .. count your blessings.

7. Faith is the ability to not panic.

8. Laugh every day. It's like inner jogging.

9. If you worry, you didn't pray. If you pray, don't worry.

10. As a child of God , prayer is kind of like calling
 home every day.

11. Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be
 bent out of shape..

12. The most important things in your house are the
 people! ..

13. When we get tangled up in our problems, be still.
God wants us to be still so He can untangle the knot.

14. A grudge is a heavy thing to carry.

15 He who dies with the most toys is still dead.

Have a great day!!! The SON is shining and He
 can certainly use you!.

Premium Member God Closed the Door

When God closed the door
At the moment Noah finished the boat
Rain poured from heaven
The boat began to float

At the moment Noah finished the boat
And the heavens opened their tide
The boat began to float
As people cried and begged outside

And the heavens opened their tide
As Noah's hand were tied
As people cried and begged outside
The boat floated, animal made noises on ride

As Noah's hands were tied
At the closing of the door
The boat floated, animals made noises on ride
When God closed the door
