I Refuse To Count Sillybulls
There once was a poet who despaired
though blessed with a fair amount of flair
that he was way too thick
to master limericks
counting words an arduous affair
Limerick-writing he'd master not
count sillybulls, meter and whatnot
the elusive punchline's
too troublesome to find
with his thoughts roughly tied up in knots
Spatial dimension impediment
a meter doubled in measurement
at the best...

All That Refuse To See
All That Refuse To See
Your ears shut wide eyes up tight
a menagerie sits in absent light
Time and reason are out of sight
stonecold now is courage's might!
Your eyes embrace a newfound cave
even logic can not your mind save
in blindness you are now a slave
treading a path to shallow grave!
Your screams raise no great alarm
dead plants harvest...

Where Shadows Refuse To Dance
Locking the door is useless,
for he has a key...
Will that sliver of light
become a wider slice tonight,
or not?
Bed sheet covers are but flimsy barriers,
easily thrown off
by hands—
Hard working hands
that roam where they should not
Tuck you to bed,
tell you a fairy tale before you sleep,
kiss you good night.
They all hold different meanings,
they always do.
The moon...

I Refuse To Be Invisible
I refuse to be invisible, so, if I pass you on the street,
I am going to say “Hello” to you, even if you simply stare down at our feet;
To people who pass me in the hallway, I am going to say, “Good day”,
No matter how many contortions you do to look the other way.
Even though...

Refuse To Be a Refugee
Refuse to be a Refugee
?Would we refuse to be a refugee?
Share things between you and me;
Never will I say what's the use;
In my mind, remove the refuse.
Must become aware of the fact,
Life has things that do detract,
But God who is always willing,
Aids us and dreams are fulfilling.

Tim Smith Fancied a Threesome and We Couldn'T Refuse - Collaboration
The nights were cold and lonely, I always dreamt of you
My heart was torn apart, now that we are through
You were my one and only, the reason for my being
You ruined me, finding you with the one you were seeing
Eyes wide and tongue tied, what was I suppose to think?
Raging...

I Refuse To Let Myself Down
Trying to build the confidence i was born to have,
I look in the mirror every day,
When I was younger I refused to look at myself,
Now I refuse to look the other way.
I refuse to let myself down.
You see there wasn't much to do to build my self esteem,
I just stopped letting people discourage me,
There's always...

I Refuse To Care
To walk towards a cum stained table and, an empty bottle at the corner
with only loneliness, echoing threw the heart of the cave.
There is only stories to be told, no time for
the scars that carves the hardened skin of a cave.
A voice waiting for a scream to existanse
with nothing to lose, but gain in the...

I Refuse To Die
I refuse to die
Life is not my slave
Though I am always brave
Even in the torrent wave
Yet, my choice sometimes life does wave
I feel like dying
I refuse to die
I chose to love
But none was a dove
Do you remember, I put my culture above
I am a Yoruba in move
'Eyele ' ni won n pé ni 'dove'?

Why Did Brics Members Refuse the Participation of French President To Brics Summit
many people wished to know why president Macron
was denied to participate to Brics summit
in South Africa.
Could he spy on them?
Was he thinking to join Brics?
Could he interrupt the summit with his personal agendas?
President Putin could not participate to the summit
as the International Criminal Court was pushing
South...

I Can'T, I Wont, I Refuse To Give Up
I can't see the stars without you.
I wont put on a smile without you.
I refuse to be happy without you.
You don't want to be with me, you only see joy in her.
But I can't, I wont, I refuse to be without you.
I love you
Even though those three words I promised myself I wouldn't speak.
I love...

Refuse Refugee
Out they go, rejected plastic
bags and bottles. Off they float,
dispersed. Where to?
There's no control.
Wind and ocean current swirling,
gathering all those broken
fragments. Human flotsam drawn
together, trafficked at what cost,
deflatable, adrift. Ashore,
caste unwanted.
Are they biodegradable?
What of their diversity?
Can they be reused? Restored?
Evidence of waste upcycled,
more than plastic identity,
or plastic credit.
The refuse...

Refuse
Oh that I could expunge you from my thoughts
just toss you out like refuse on the ground
I would delight to know all trace is gone
And yet my ears are quick to hear the sound
Remembered words come to me on the breeze
my ears reverberate with trembling tone
your voice, so loving, shakes me to my core
and once...
