THE ORIGINAL TITLE OF THE POEM WAS 'NO MORE LONELY NIGHTS' BUT IT GOT ALTERED AT THE LAST MINUTE:-)
The nights were cold and lonely, I always dreamt of you
My heart was torn apart, now that we are through
You were my one and only, the reason for my being
You ruined me, finding you with the one you were seeing
Eyes wide and tongue tied, what was I suppose to think?
Raging red with jealousy, anger written in blood ink.
I knew you were cheating, you couldn’t look me in the eye
Then I discovered you wrapped in the arms of another guy
It wouldn't have been so bad, if you just owned up and told me
You knew being with two guys was my one and only fantasy
I'm losing my perspectives, can't see clear through all the tears
Reflections staring wide eyes in all the bedroom mirrors
I thought we were forever until the end of time
Now you’ve gone and cheated, you're a lying swine
That's all good and well, I've got a secret of my own
I've been sleeping with someone too, it's your sister Joan
You think this is one big love affair, well I've got a something to tell,
There is no one here but me and my pillows, so you could go to hell.
So whilst you been unfaithful and been having an affair with him
I’ve turned the tables on you and been sleeping with your twin
