I shall make sure my heart is in the right place
Meditating, I look into myself, introspectively,
I must always be able to look myself in the face
I shall make sure my heart is in the right place,
Justifying why I’ve been given a coveted space
It is always a good thing to observe reflectively
I shall make sure my heart is in the right place
Meditating, I look into myself, introspectively.

Every Bone

Soothe the mind with troubles past,
pain and suffering that will not last.
Understanding simple facts,
relates your thoughts to heart attacks.

On the brink of chaos' siege,
this crippling pain drops me to my knees.
Take my soul, but leave my heart.
For its been severed from end to start.

Relieve the pressure from under my wings,
and let my eyes feel nature's breeze.
Slowing time, or timing slow.
Erratic emotions erect and show.

No more hiding beneath the soil,
beyond unsheathing this hellful toil.
Reflectively shown the sun will beam.
Above your sins, He's on your team.

So rise again but do not fall;
allow your fears to dissipate small.
For when this misery has left its home,
there will be life in every bone.

A Lovely Day

From the past days of old.
At Seventh Street & Florence Avenue.
Vehicles in pristine finished.
Bragging Rights Mint Condition.
Proudly rolled by in a yearly tribute.

Very close behind did the present.
Spanking brand new, Virgilina's, VA.
Town's first responders debut their life-
saving vehicles of rescue.

Summer Fest proudly displayed.
Awesomely colored painted fine cars.
Including trucks and plowing tractors.
The drivers and passengers.
Cheerfully waived tossing smiles and candy.

I watched so many of the children laughing.
Enjoying themselves while playfully.
Scrambling to grab all and as many.
Of the tossed free candies.

So very comforting it was to see.
Neighbors, visitors, friends and family.
Witnessing together.
Standing side by side
In such a loving comradely.
History and our future.
Embracing one another.
In supreme harmony.

Refreshing the supportive celebration.
Veterans from old world wars of our past.
Keeping close in step were our gallant;
soldiers of wars in our present time.

Today's events were also in celebration.
Of the soldiers whom honorably.
Transitioned to a much peaceful home.
This was a very lovely quick get away.

Cotton candy, home made ice cream.
Scenie's Old-fashioned Peanut Brittle.
Freshly squeezed lemonade.
How fortunate to meet Ms Marion Woods.
Author of Uncle Jerdon's Farm Children' Book.

Thanks to my cousin Natarsha.
I am experiencing a very lovely.
Memorial Weekend Holiday.

My Uncle Joe Lassiter our beloved Veteran.
His daughter and my cousin Andrea Miller.
Stood in the longest line waiting patiently.

For what I learned was the town's best.
Brunswick Stew.

It's evening now I sit here as one.
Within this blissful time in nature.
Pleasantly at peace.
Relaxed taking in the beauty.
Of this picturesque piece of land.

Reflectively pondering.
On on this lovely day.
I joyfully have a writing instrument.
Very close at hand.

Reflectively, at peace within my mind
my thoughts upon the words I have to say
though lacking much it's richness that I find
for I am blessed to write them all away.

So often all the words that I have penned
have been the only voice I've ever had
and turning to my dear and trusted friend
I've often sought the comfort of my pad.

Even at a tender age in time
when the only things I had were words and prayers
child like I'd soothe myself in rhyme
as God watched over me and eased my tears.

This gift to me stands high among the rest
and by Gods grace I know I have been blessed.

Christmastide

CHRISTMASTIDE

During the Holiday Season, the spirit is felt by all.
We sing our Christmas carols for the spirit to flow.
Yet, the New Year is upon us with many issues in toil.
We set aside these worries to inform the soul.
That Jesus Christ Lord is the Messiah born.
He came for our salvation and for our existence to live on.
Therefore, let us embrace the knowledge reflectively with yuletide carols and song
To shout hallelujah this is the day Baby Jesus was born.

The festivities and laughter heard by all brings family together during this season.
Friends come over to express their joy about the life of Jesus to the universe.
Philosophical tenets are done and New Year resolutions form
To situated life with God for greater rewards and to problem-solve via a greater source.
He came for our salvation and for our existence to henceforward.
He is the Messiah born.
So let’s ruminate in wisdom and knowledge given through voice
To shout hallelujah this is the day Jesus Christ Lord was born.

Christmastide is epiphany –
A moment that can bring forth new understanding.
Essential to nature fulfillment of oneself within an intuitive grasp of intuition
Surmises the intellect to a deeper contentment.
Hitherto, the New Year issues in toil.
All worries are set aside to adore the birth of the Messiah, Jesus Christ Lord.
In yuletide and song, as we shout hallelujah within the universe for the
Remuneration scribed that Jesus Christ Lord is the Messiah.

All About Me

Tanya
kind, curious, silly and shy
sister of two brothers, much older than I
loves music, dancing, nature and Labradors
who hopes optimisically, ponders reflectively and hordes sentimentality
who fears not being remembered, man's moral decay and this progressive disease
who would like to see all the wonders of the world, peace among nations and honesty in all human faces
resident of life's flowing waters

Reflections: Existentialism

Life must be questioned to discover the truth.
Spending all our time in a lonely photo booth,
Taking pictures of our past reflectively aloof,
Hiding in nostalgia to recapture our youth,
Or should we just get over ourselves?

Life should be quizzed to find out what’s wrong.
Living through sorrow to make ourselves strong,
Running past others to get ahead and get along,
Wasting this precious time just playing Mahjong,
Or should we get up and do things?

Life needs a questionnaire to learn what is good.
Gentrify houses to fix the mentality of the hood,
Discuss filmic characters such as Bella and Edward,
Purchase some shelves made from quality wood,
Or should we create stuff of our own?

Life needs a meaning, so let us look for an answer.
Is it in the lucid movements of the simplest dancer?
Is it in the poetry of the pen, or in fighting cancer?
Will we learn it by study, or travelling to France, Sir?
No. The meaning of life is to live.

Premium Member In My Ivory Tower

This hearth and home, my ivory tower,
where in complete and thoughtful solitude
I daily think, then ponder and often brood
reflectively with creative power:

in the place where I fear not or cower,
     where I, here dignified, feel understood;
where I sometimes am seized by raptured moods
that alter my loneliest, and darkest, hours;

and where, waves of pure bliss can clarify
and wash my confusion and gloom away,
filling me with an overpowering high,
a feeling of elation every day,
that only thoughts on God can magnify
and make perfect in the springtime of May.

1111 Reflections of Silence-With the Stellar Silent One-

Ubiquitous artificial smiles and plastic hearts
cosmic curse escalating a decline in civilization
Acting upon fake camaraderie - leaves you swimming with sharks
In a world with light - guided by personificated moirai
negative minds impersonate the darkness of the equinox
Those lost in fantasy struggle to adapt to free will thought
Those enlightened with intelligence constantly reflect
like the way of the mirror
reflects two sides of infinitive imagination
reminding us to be crystalabaster clear
in our minds merging with the reflection of our destination
reflecting the courage we need gathered in times tear
quenching and awakening our reflected participation
as we reflectively writestimonials showing no fear
with peace in every pen stroke felt by the constellations
as our ancestors concur we're making the song sweeter
and nod in approval we can sample a demonstration
as we listened intently a startree began to appear
taking us into the umbilical cord of the universes fascination
with life as love gratitude and compassion begin to near
light blankets our spirits without any hesitation
immediately we remember why we were brought here
to hear the heartbeats rhythm in the threads
treading lightly upon lights lightning steps
guiding us to the steeple of salvation
shining through our transparent energy

Compass Points

All these connections like points on a compass
constant awareness like breath on my lips
knowing that you are still out there and wondering
if you still are pining for things that you miss
Have you gone traveling to the pinpoint of green
in seas which welcomed your skin in a dip
and have you peeled open the rind of the moon
to hold to your lips to reflectively sip?
Have you brought marble to inlay your stairs
and have you played chess with your two other halves?
Have you enjoyed every roll of liqueur
in an alcohol burn? Why, I'll bet that you have.
Somehow, I'd know if you breathed your last breath.
Somehow, you'd send me a palatable sign.
One that I'd wrap around tooth picks with tassels
and dip with decision in myrrh berry wine.
Somehow, you'd know if I sent you a letter
sealed up in wax made of salty old tears
scented in strawberry cream, filled with stickers
chosen, collected through turbulent years.

We hold the secrets and scents of enigmas
right on the small of our backs in our sleep
Striking awareness like points on a compass
all in the layers of dreaming to keep.

The Soupie !

Vicariously
Brilliantly
Gregariously
Ambitiously
Eagerly
Writing words from day to day

Vehemently
Humbly
Fervently
Instinctively
Understanding
Learning what others have to say

Profusely
Intensively
Literally
Reflectively
Philosophically
Reading each other’s poems undercover

Openly
Honestly
Realistically
Copiously
Liberally
Commenting our thoughts to one another~

Critiquing Greek Hieroglyphics

Fanciful musings written in challenged braille scribbles
midst reveries' graffito on stone-cold deafening walls,
like Greek hieroglyphics for the poetically deranged
  awaiting symmetry's reflectively critiqued paroxysms

Origamirror

a voice
has the choice to speak
into the pockets of wind which are parcel carriers
connecting the truth with whispers
heard on a deafening level
only overshadowed by silence
shaking loose the lies
sleeping in the crevices of the fraying veil
tattered in sounds of smiles sounding laughter
to tear open the tears that have damned up faith
leaping like a frog catching light
born from incubators in the veins of lily pads
padding pillow tops underneath narcoleptic dreams
envisioning a visage of voluptuous vaults
protecting gemstones donated by gravity
in a tail spin
spinning tales to be told
at a dinner party hosted by the sun and the moon
gathering gratitude with a net made of stars
caressing composure courageously
with hearts beating in synchronized stares
staring into eyes worn by your energy
that has been an architect for our ancestors
since an apparatus was designed to authenticate
inspiration used to create and validate
reasons to change like the seasons
seasoning the hourglasses recycling time
tripping over lay lines beginning to sway
like the song fermenting in the clouds still yet to rain
so let go of the reins
there's no sense in trying to control
reflecting directions reflectively directed
by reflections that direct a reflected directive
able to reflect inner directives
balancing the compass
leading to compassion
so blossom and pass on in
don't forget to remember landmarks
marking the lightyears you've traveled
aging with grace given by the ripples of righteousness
nestling the words i was chosen to write

for us

Parables Rolled With a Purified Pair-A-Dice

smiling from within the waters
compassionate
undertow
my faceless energy free from
physical form...

i make music with the universe
one verse after another...

my instrument (illuminated)
just so happens to be Caramelized Sunbows
spraying origami orchestrated laughter
like mint-chocolate confetti...

swaying so sweetly
merging with the insight
from the Great Pastel Owl
donning butterscotch blues
swirled in powder greygreens
he resides on the 7th Ring of Saturn
which has taken a sad turn
setting in motion emotions candlestick
to be lit upon stigmas wick
protruding out of the flowering ocean
blooming on peddaling petals of purification...

reuniting my Soul with my Spirit
amongst the Autumn's animated driftwood narration
read by death and every double-crossing decision
consuming infinities enchanted eternity...

embracing the rest
covered and kept safe under a layer of Wisdom's Blanket
learning...

dancing to the rhythym of the Crimson Cromlech Tapestry
of duct-taped waves
crashing
against the ululating glimpses that
Reflect
Reflections Reflecting
Reflectively Reflected
breaths
breathing
in inkchiseled messages
with Poetically Penned Piercing Points...

POINTING * TO THE TRUTH...

now
the fact of the matter
as a matter of fact
it's a matter of right and wrong
heard through the lies is a herd of hummingbirdsongs
singing in soft sneezes spreading seeds
growing into symphonies of supernovas
any Solar System would be awestruck by
shedding tears that can buy
every single good-bye
pleasent dreams...

because a brave dog once said "Good-byes don't last forever"
HOWEVER forever is clever beyond starscorched weather
NOW
whether or not
this knot gets untied (which it will)
for it's the Creators Will
AYE
I am the Eye of the Storm
sent to warn us with a scent worn
in the waxed seal...

written from the isle of Paradise...

Mirrored Memories of Marvelous Misted Music

I receive righteous reassurance
I'm able to face every pen stroke
as I've currently begun to resurface
with revelations reflecting
the Creators reflection
reflectively reciting information
about my resurrection
reflected in wisdoms water
which allows me to reflect
the truth written by chalkfirewhispers

and the gift that I am
and the only way to make the gift I am shine
is to give back to you
what was freely given to me
so I'm able to remind you of the gift you are

together we'll unwrap answers that will capture
personal memories concerning the rapture
expressed with conviction from compassions pasture
where childlike courage flourishes on Faith's vine
braiding times turquoise threads
with diamondustedreams from stars
and effluent energies echoing beauty
throughout eternity
gliding on the sky and secretive scent
of lavender laced leap year laughter
dancing with the authentic aquartz auras of our ancestors
upon the silversilked song
so sweetly sung through the silence
and patience portrayed
by pulchritudinous petals of purification
awakening the sky
revealing a multifaceted choir
of forget-me-nots nodding in notes
vibrating notes scribed from passions pollen
setting in stone a sacred tone
delivering holy hues from home
causing the sleepers minds to explode
leaving loves symbol of grace
centered in a cherished crest
surrounded by gratitudes gemstones
ingrained in imaginations roots
spreading the story of the Army Of Smiles
and their brave battle
individually fought
and as a united unit of understanding
measuring knowledge in the Grail
sipping prayers
as I stand under a drop of raintuitively
interpreting important instructions
prior to leaping
from the all knowing ledge
reminding myself to remember

I am blessed because you have blessed me
so bless you for blessing us
as we continue to swim
through the northern section
of a horizontalemniscate
breathing with no apparatus

what just happened???
