Quite far we have traversed, in pursuit of goals we chose,
Through troubles and trepidations of seasons in throes;
Sometimes reveling sunshine, sometime in glum of shadows,
Always together~ on barren terrains, or verdant meadows.

In albums of yore, we ruminate now, turning pages of life,
Banishing anguish of feelings-forlorn, fuming in strife;
Reminiscing in moments passionate, of love sublime,
Treasured in memories-beloved, accumulated over time.

Harboring wisdom, inlaid in life’s waning phase, as we age,
In realms of reflections, insights-sapient, now we engage;
Learning from knowledge gained, from choices we made,
Accepting with grace, laments of secrets, as yet unsaid.

Regrets unmitigated, voice remorse of unuttered sigh,
Seeking empathy from goodwill of repentant goodbye;
As life tallies good versus bad, that introspections confide,
Eying a tranquil state of mind, devoid of hate and pride.

It’s time to reflect, it’s time to mend, it’s time to befriend,
As journey of life, beaming content, approaches its end;
Living final days in covenants revered, humbly we penned,
Elevating self, in peace of bliss, to heavens we shall ascend.

Reflect

At this moment I sit and reflect,
so much water has flowed under the bridge,
so much life has been lived,
triumphs, successes, vitories, wins,
pain, frustrations, upsets and defeats,
I am here and more than the sum of my parts
I have lived, i have loved, I have broken hearts,
so much like the onion there is more of me with every peel,
once the peeling is done I will need time to heal.
send prayer, send healing, send chocolate, send love,
most importantly send the love,
while I sit here and reflect.

Reflect On Your Day

It's time to be still.
It's stillness time.
Time to reflect on your day.
Your days make up your lifetime.
How do you spend your day
Wisely, in conflict, in a rush , in peak hour, in competition , socialising, eating,
Sleeping, eating
Tune into your heart and find out
Where your heart wants to be.
What do you love in love?.
What do you love doing?.
Action your heart's beat today
Allow your heart to beat to the beat
Of love. Allow each beat to be a song
Love,joy,happiness and fufillmentt
Share your song with the world today.
Write your heart's words in a poem,song ,
Painting, pottery, play dough , theatre script
Film script . Express what is deep
Down in your heart. I want to see your heart in art.

I have come to a crossroad in time
knowing I should let go of the past
but I keep recalling many things sublime
and I must now reflect on a grief vast
as storms shake the ocean of my sleep
where shadows in my life are buried deep

I put away all the photographs of family gone
placing them in an old inherited ornate chest
it sits in my living room like a headstone
inside are memories that need to be caressed
oh, my life is weather stained with tears
and I have wept for years, years and years

My thoughts gleam like jewels in the sun
like a day as clear as sparkling wine
without planning a place of honor has begun
it is in the divine process of spiritual design
in a sunny corner of my bedroom a table waits
and two newly painted walls have new fates

Tomorrow, I will open the lid of the hidden
holding each image to my heart with love
cherishing the images of the dead forbidden
dusting off those faces residing in heaven above
it is not a shrine to the dead I am creating
but of life memories beautiful and captivating

I will stand silent in this place to reflect
and it will be fine to feel sad and weep
remembering the sorrow, joy and respect
memories deep will creep for me to keep
Through poetic words I am able to express
what I tried to hide but cannot now suppress

REFLECT

Reflection
Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In the light of day, I see the smiles
Spreading around, bring it for a while.

Ends up, we all fake it, it seems
It was a reflection of what the world wanted to be seen
Interchangeable we grief
Leaving the past a mirror of our relief

With every step on this winding road,
I shed my burdens, I lighten the load.
Through valleys deep and mountains tall,
My heart beats louder, I dare to call.

All in all,
The one reflection was a darkened
recall to the unreal Yarkand
Far from all, I placed the mirror and
What lies ahead, a mystery veiled,
In fragile hopes, my heart is sailed.

With every beat, my heart reveals,
The essence of what deeply feels
With every turn, a lesson learned,
Embracing each flame, my spirit burned

Describes how one is seen
Shows your opposite gene,
In others’ eyes, a glimpse of me,
Together, we find what it means to be free.

All in all
The one reflection was a darker me

Soon Autumn Will Reflect On Ground

growing
sowing
blowing
glowing
buds no longer growing, seeds sowing
cool winds are blowing, trees now glowing

Pearls don't sparkle they reflect light

Strong, resilient, iridescent
Trapped in folds, they are translucent
Culture cultivate grafted right
Pearls don't sparkle they reflect light

Mollusk secretes nacre layers
Wild pearls fetch prompt giga payers
Placed right they are prettiest sight
Pearls don't sparkle they reflect light

Implant good in delicate soul
Ego, pride, hate, lust can play foul
Turn to true source to be moonlight
Pearls don't sparkle they reflect light

Kindness, faith and love are virtues
Rare, admirable true values
They attract source and return bright
Pearls don't sparkle they reflect light

A Time To Reflect

There was a time a while ago when animals mattered.
Treated as species that aided men and there well being, they were special as they were gathered.
Now humans have brought many to the brink of existence.
Progress by man has intruded on their habitat and threatens their sustenance.

Tress is necessary as well as plants for our very air.
Yet, in the jungle and forests we have chopped them down we just don’t care.
Man has a way of ruining the planet for money and greed.
Forcing the breeds of animals and plants to extinction caring not about their needs.

Progress man building more cities overpopulating the earth.
Spawning more children overstretching our natural resources what is it really worth?
Our children have a bleak world to look forwards to in their future.
Why do we not think of them? We should love them and think in love and nurture.

Money is said to be the root of all evil.
The evil one knows this that’s why he is called the devil.
An un-godly spirit malicious in his evil intent.
His fallen angels his legions are now in total content.

His spirit is powerful and corrupting man is his way.
Knowing his time is short he escalates evil every day.
Lining the pockets putting corrupt officials in Washington.
His smoke and mirrors with his evil partners are ruining this nation.

We have turned from our Fathers edicts, laws and morals.
Soon we’ll pay the price along with the evil one, repenting we won’t so it’s very improbable.
Our nation has one slim chance we must return to God and re-take our Christian values.
To do otherwise animals, plants, even humans have no chance it’s a moral issue and to animals, trees, and plants it’s very cruel.

Relax and Reflect

When the sun goes down in Cyprus,
And the heat of the day fades away,
Then it's time to relax and reflect,
Our life here is just what we expect.

Distance belongs to clouds
How they drift, lost
a picture of anguish
leaving empty spaces
to rush, pink and flushed
into each new dawn.

Impatiently they wait
for their sunset fires to burn
then they darken -
dying with not
a flutter of regret.

You've walked this road so many times
Half the time you don't even notice
The little changes
You don't notice the differences

Even if it feels like nothing changed
It is guaranteed that nothing remains the same
Your smile might be hidden today

Who knows tomorrow it might return

Don't cling to morbid thoughts
Don't drown in muddled water
Of past mistakes
Past regrets

You are not always wrong,
Look around at all the things

You did right...

Reflect

Embrace what might still happen
We don't have vision or surety of tomorrow
All you have is today

Mirror Reflection, Can You Truly Reflect Me

Mirror, mirror on the wall
I see what’s there but is that all?
Do I perceive what’s truly me?
Or is there more than what i see?
Past the surface and what’s within
Why can’t I see beneath the skin?
Something's there I know it’s true
But how can I see it what can I do?
Do I turn away to truly see me?
Because there has to be more than what you show to me
Or is it shown can I just not see
What may be there in front of me?
can i look at the surface and truly see myself
Am I able to see what I’ve lost and what is left?
How will I know how can I see?
Past my skin and deep in of me?
I don’t know maybe I will one day
It is my will so I know I may.

Loves Reflect

A heart that weeps silenced to what was left
Destroyed the hope only of love it kept
To give, To take in less more have been spent
Becoming was the cold in hell it bent
Why lone catered a simple minds repent
I love! I hate! phantom alone regret
Figured configured intertwined inlet
To yearn no need but use to need mindset
To be alone inside I must ingest
No love to keep my own had been to what neglect
Accept what is my own deserved expect
In that what Love mirrored my own reflect

Reflect

There are times when you sit alone
You sit to reflect your life
Reflect what you have achieved
Reflect what matters to you the most
Reflect on your valuable time
Reflect on the people you hang around
Reflect on your life
Reflect on our past, present and future
Reflect gives a sense of belongingness
A identity that sometimes we keep hunting throughout our life yet couldn't find
Reflect is a mirror which shows you what you never wanted to see....

Reflect

We are fractured,
Fragile,
Desperate for more
Yet we settle for milk.
We live to dress,
Impress,
And repress.
Our Smiles greet
soulless streets.
Internally, we are gasping for air
Afraid to show what’s really there.
Disaster could strike at anytime
Look at all the earthly signs.
We are always majoring in the minors,
And minoring in the majors
Leaving doors open to eternal Danger.
We fill our minds with wit and charm
While deafening our ears to the spiritual alarm.
Running towards a dead end
Seems to be a common trend.
Waves of nutrition
Bleed out all superstitions.
We are called to the mission
He already paid out tuition.
This is war
A kind we are not trained for.
The only fire that we are fighting
Can be found in Jehovah’s writings,
The true battle is in our head
Renew the mind with his daily bread,
This generation has a desire
For God to truly inspire
Breathe fresh winds into our atmosphere
Give us a chance to finally adhere.
