She knows when the lights are turned off
there will be light somewhere else
Understanding of connections between life and death
The rains will come and the seeds will germinate
     by the green youth trees

The attraction is there, but also the fear
her world is falling apart as a house of cards
     through the soul's dark night
     A transcendent and celestial experience
the arrival of the journey via divine powers

The frequency, sound and volume adjusted frequently
She testing the woven fibers with burning longing
against a background of nothing but bluish air
The soul longed for so much, a renewal

Listen to the sound of trickling streams
before they merge into the endless sea
A reconciling and humble journey has ended

Well-Crafted Diamond

Feeling alone like I’m by myself on an Island,
Spending time within my mind and forever rhyming,
Remembering everything comes together slowly when ya smiling,
Like a raw gem that transforms into a well-crafted diamond,
While aware of the memories in the shadows that keep crying,
Tomorrows a better day when we can see over the horizon,
Compiling and filing my thoughts with perfect timing,
Always protecting my inner being while reconciling as I climb,
Climbing this ladder in this life I was given,
Driven by the beauty I see,
Knowing where I come from through my family tree,
Knowing where I’ve been, what I’ve seen,
With an active mind with neurons connecting,
Directing notions without any commotions,
Our imaginations are like the ocean,
Vast with changing tides of emotion,
Unspoken words become broken,
If you continue to keep silent,
This life we are experiencing can be vibrant,
So I look out the window and past the social climate,
Stop hiding and check out some info,
Gaining strength as I go, my way,
This is true wealth making sure I don’t betray myself,
Looking to a bookshelf to help myself learn,
Understanding one’s self has to be earned,
Through the burning temptations as I yearn for more,
The need to explore through the open door to find what’s yours,
Working on my mental flaws as I pause to give thanks,
Lighting my lamp in times of darkness,
Seeing the vastness in my mind,
Finding I have greatness that needs to be rhymed,
Designed and well organized by my inner sidekick,
Quick and honest with no nonsense I give thanks to my subconscious,
As I make a promise to myself with my inner logic,
To always write my insight and be cautious and flawless.

The Legend of Soccer

A legend was sent
October 1, 1966
Far from above
To the nation of Liberia
While angels celebrate

He played with his peers
He grow up in the land
He tasted the bitter side of life
While great treasures
Lay silently in him

At the right times of life
Heaven directed him
With his legs
To kick the ball
In his yard,
In his community,
In his school,
And over continents of the world

He made his country name to be heard
He made his country to shine
The flag of the Lonestar weaved over nations
His name was sung in many languages
With great love for his country
His people has a portion in his heart

Hail the legend of soccer
A true son of Africa
Reconciling his people
Putting every tribe together
To eat the meal of peace
To enjoy the love of liberty
That brought us together

Our World Without Colour

Classic silent films
Redundant technicolour
Piano plays mood

Panther and snow leopard
Duelling with chess
Under a scintillating firmament
A dome of diamonds floating on infinity
Moonlight softly slicing the shadows
Illuminating their world of concentration
Alternating attrition
Pawn takes pawn
Bishop takes pawn
Rook takes pawn
Knight takes pawn
Who's winning?
The back rows don't care
The pawns always get slaughtered

Monochromatic menagerie
Colour falls victim to Darwin
Survival of the hueless
Polar bears, penguins, orcas
Denizens of the icy white
Magpie's musings
Cogitating a colourless cosmos
With polka dot dalmatians
And Rorschach fresian cows
And bar code zebras
Mezzotinted mother nature
Despite its wonderous beauty
Always has a few skunks

Jet and pearls for the rich
Coal and chalk for the poor
Obsidian and quartz for the wannabes

A nun and a priest
In theological debate
Reconciling scripture
With how the real world with real people really works
Playing dominos
To divine answers
To divine questions
Passing holy judgement
By chance and cunning
What's the alternative?
A pool table of eight balls?
A heartless (and diamondless) pack of cards?
It doesn't matter
To those who see
Truth as black and white

Food race!
Tuxedoed athletes!
Chequered flag drops!
Raisins and pearl onions
Caviar and rice
Faster!
Black pudding and chicken
Licorice and mash potato
Faster!
Black beans with cream
Oreos and mayonnaise
Finish line!
Hurray for the winners!
Bread and blackberry jam prizes!
Everyone else starves

Brightling and darkling
Eden's white vies Hade's black
Madness lies between

Tattarrattat- a Palindrome

Tattarrattat

…amazing how things change over time, from a simple knock at someone’s door, smoke signals, walking & serenading to the Pony Express, and now Cell Phones…what next, microchip implants?

Tattarrattat of sounds making universal calling to chitchat
Habitat denned of words hovering upon stagnate doormat
Dialling friends like Anna and Christine while vanity filing
Smiling Hannah throughout texts and hashtags reconciling

Taking selfies selfish as snapping shots peep after faking
Breaking stats texting thru speeding with fingers aching
Money making Facebook and Twitter toot sucking honey
Funny folks frolicking in wow of gibberish words chummy

Implanting microchiping radar loves of illusions enchanting
Ranting and deleveled amidst abysses of misunderstanding
Evaporating thoughts deified through fanatic futurists dating
Frustrating still mom and dad tired of escaping callwaiting.

...this may also be read backwards

1.Tattarrattat – the longest palindrome in the Oxford English Dictionary, coined by James Joyce in Ulysses for a knock on the door
2.denned – past tense of to den, meaning to live in a den
3.deleveled – past tense and past participle of "delevel", to demote or be demoted to a lower level.
4.deified – past tense of "to deify", meaning to consider as a god

...originally I was going to enter this in Joseph May's Palindrome contest...but at the last second, I noticed the theme was about the Seasons...dah!...hello Brian lol

A Palindrome is a word or phrase which reads the same backwards as forwards, such as level, or deed, or "never odd or even".

Gods House of Grace

A place saints gather to give thanks and praise to Jehovah
Where we all look unto our maker for answers to life challenges
We gather corporately on Sundays to honour the Sabbath day
Do you frown at sinners in the assembly?
Don’t you know Jesus never casts anyone away?
For it was because of sinners He came on a journey to the earth
Reconciling us back to the father of all Spirits
The perfect Love that casts out all fear
What sin are you involved in or have you committed?
Has sin or guilt kept you away from God?
Think again and don’t let the devil steal from you twice
God hates the sin but not the sinner
Jesus waits for you patiently
Preparing a huge banquet for you
Like the prodigal son
His mercies are forever new every morning
Again I ask what is the sin or guilt that keeps you away from God
Jehovah’s love for us is unimaginable
For his Love covers multitude of sins
Confess them: Repent of them
Remember He casts them into the sea of forgetfulness
Hear me! You who have categorized yourself as one that does not merit Gods love
Even I myself doesn’t merit Gods love
Are we not all sinners?
I might have even been a chief sinner just like Apostle Paul
Who persecuted Christians thinking it was the work of God
The Lord is inviting you today; back to His house
Back to the assembly of His saints
Waste no more time my friend
Weep if you have to, pray if you have to, but after you are done
Step out with a Jesus swag
Swaging right back into the ever opened arms of Jesus
Our Loving and merciful father. Heaven awaits you
Selah

Letters Written In Fetters - 5

Dear son
(We get interrupted but love continues,
For we are not defined in dictionaries
                        Love is God and we are his image;
You and I are only great reflections
                        Depending on light and surface,
Love comes out as the substance of truth's shadow)
                        And using my wings
The sun would have made it killed you
Or washed me out of your memory salt as sea
                        Or could the beanstalk down
For such a tree is prime for tragedy
Watch it metamorphosize into a cross
Where the father was in the son
                        Redeeming us from history's fragment
                        Reconciling creation and creator
For what are ideals but the unattainable
                        The plant of figment
And we licking our lips are destroyed
Father and son, I am about to open my heart.

I speak to the enemy if I have to
But I would rather be silent before him
For there is a time when the pen is still
And wrath consumes the will (action is unequivocal)
You and I are silent like stars and eternity
As if your judgment are precise
Why do you think mothers keep bean seeds in desolate draws?
You neither know the purpose nor what it is
                        Fathers are not accidents
Before the world was created, and in a thousand father's loins
                        Like stars we were deccided
Mothers are born loaded with eggs and chance
Fathers toil to make what they have
And it is no easy grind of day or tide
But you will read this prefering to emasculate our oral traditions
I am calling for you to meet me face to face
And let the laws of kinship suffice for argument.

Premium Member The Reunion To a New Beginning

Whispers of the bells chiming
romancing in a warm night outing
like the tranquil feeling of wine so sweet
the gentleness of two hearts reconciling
the eyes that sparkled stood shimmering
two half a life times frozen in memory
like a beautiful caterpillar evolving
love once struck now revolving
the keys within two hearts unlocked
reuniting desires reawakening
doors opening a forbidden love
images within the dreams
now filling the warmth within me
the memories now seen before me
be still my breathless heart
strange the breeze that's drowning
yet the air so subtle around me
arms enfold so lovingly
time finally stood still
unlike age of 40 past years
every breath taken hearts explode
sensuous lips reawakened
mind shifting between memories
the past moons and the sun's reality
shrinking in the past of young love
rekindling a time there once was
gestures of happiness on aged faces
mesmerizing in love compromising
the fire that still resides
recollecting days that towered with love
to the hollow years that followed
gentle still the hands that touched the heart
remembering the embrace
rekindled we the days
reawakening two hearts
reconciling distance apart
reuniting in our desires
revealing fire and water
the reunion to a new beginning........

Lest I See That She These Nativitic Remembrances Hath Sent To Me

Ere ever I send to her;
She whom I love;
Any of the apologies and explanations of most bittersweet love:
An accounting of those regrets and remorses that I have,
My fooleries and follies and fallacies, fair as well as fell and foul,
That I discharged;
Ere I ever send to her, in epistolary form,
Or else that poetic and psalmic,
Those words of love yet regret that I wish and long most
To discharge unto her, so that her brassed-over heart,
Now encased with bitterest, steeliest, most impenetrable and sharpest
Shapen steel touching me, concerning me, regarding me;
She black of heart with reference to me;
So that her cold unforgiveness might at long last come to an end;
So that this everlasting winter of her hatred, fear, anger, and unforgiveness
Might cease and because spring and summer anew,
For all these reasons and more, I,
On this, the thirty-fifth anniversary of my hardly sainted nativity,
I await her, and her apologetic, explanatory, reconciling and/or
Forgiving remarks,
Her little lovely epistolary lucubrations or inditings of a
Reconciled love,
Because I have a weak and almost extinguished hope that
Perhaps her gift in remembrance of my nativity
(Of which she has more than her sufficiency of knowledge)
Will be the delivery unto me of those remarks abovementioned.
So, though I may pine and long and yearn to send my love
A gift of my own on this day,
So that we might finally see the twilight of this long estrangement of ours,
I will not, not until and unless I see that she hath sent me nothing
And said to me, even less.

Congested Without Psychological Rheum

No antihistamine can
unblock the lifetime
accumulation of stoppered emotional gunk
zapping, undermining, and polluting *****
mine early life in retrospective avast flunk
stripped mined wasteland qua sinkhole,

where eternal reverberations soundlessly plunk
inescapable deafening, and
blinding this targeted
"scapegoat" bullied by most every punk
wrathful verbal sucker punches,
whereby yours truly habitually shrunk

within himself, yet self actualization
predates how severe
introvertedness doth debunk
the penultimate prevalence that mean kids,
albeit cruel, fiendish, incriminating
ganged accomplices further sunk

this then boy careering
into an abysmal funk
crashing into bajillion pieces
with soundless silent thunk
pitching mental health
(actually entire self)

analogous to comatose
state losing a chunk
of vital growing up years,
when upon reluctant
commencement into early adulthood
debilitating chafing

against self destructive
(mailer daemon) nemesis did brood
apathetic degree of functionality crude
delivering punishing perception,
now this older dude
writhes with lament oft times exude

ding self hatred, especially during
critical years, I denied myself food
never reconciling how affliction
cost development good
and plenti stunted development,
when scythe ying grim reaper donning
trademark black hood

dee metaphorically pinned toothpick
lovely bag of bones fragile as breadstick
easily crushed by madding publick
crowdsource, that slip of a cowlick
my excruciating body electric
demolished with figurative flick

of wrist now shutters hermetic
vacuum sealed "prison" brick
an invincible fortified bailiwick
walled in invisible steely fortress
hardest and most resilient mucous thick
against any wrecking ball.

The Chicken Or the Egg...

There is no true social reform or reconstruction
without individual effort toward a new direction
our social ill's have many philosophic maxims
all somewhat similar to the Pandora's box syndrome

People are the way they are, because
the world is the way it is...
The world is the way it is,because
people are the way they are...

It becomes a collective challenge thru individual effort,
from the inside out,a personal and worthy endeavor
adjustment of the social whole appears superficial
from one to the many, natural process toward the special...

One of the worlds oldest riddles...
" What came first, the chicken or the egg? "

There is no resolution,or reconciling universal mysteries,
until we can approach and understand the mystery of Man...

The Greatest Love Story Ever Told

“THE GREATEST LOVE STORY EVER TOLD”

There is a Love that came for us
Searching heart and soul –abundant devotion
Knowing all, Omniscient- pure and just
Our birth, life and purpose-- set into motion

He longs to be our perfect Father
Providing our needs and planning the future
Protecting life with His Angels and armour
Spoke the world into being—Creative Producer

Each child--His most treasured possession
Petitioning our hearts as we delight in Him too
Encouraging comforter—Omnipresent affection
In Jesus His son—reconciling, He longs for you

I have always been Father, and forever will be
Waiting, anticipating, celebrating our love— Eternally

Sons Manifest!

SONS MANIFEST!

In the beginning it was not so

Now the earth groan and humanity moan

Confusion rumble, all is berserk

Limits is stretched, yet it unbreak

In chains, cry many dreams

Oppression the wicked flaunts around

Denigrating, once a bright world

Who can rescue man again?

His pain, echoes unbearable

Which is the way out?

So obvious all groan and roam

How much is redemption?

Its price value is in his blood.

Are there sons in Zion?

Led and powered by the spirit?

I mean true sons from Zion

Yes! I have, all worthy and holy

Sons arise! Heal the world

Liberating the oppressed

Empowering the impoverished

Delivering the depressed

Oh my sons! The earth waits

Anticipating your manifestation

Sons manifest! Yes, manifest!

The fullness of my power

Bringing all to my tower

That my blessing, I will shower

Go display my worth

Liberate the world

Taking strong holds as territories

Establishing my authority and superiority

Manifest my name, same as my fame

Son manifest! Shrinking hell’s expansion

Lord, we will manifest as sons

Hoisting your banner of love

Not breaking our ranks, we will stand

A band of warriors, causing a change

Unleashing sealed destinies

Breaking ageless yokes

Your power alone, we will manifest

True sons, marked for excellence

Souls your heartbeat

We will catch as fish.

Go forth my sons, and manifest

Reconciling destinies to me

 An impoverished world

As patched earth

Waits you as rain to reign

Like seed their liberty will sprout

Ending a circle, yet so vicious

My sons manifest!

Manifest my sons!

The world earnestly yearns and wait

Your triumphant landing

As my true sons

Sons again, manifest!
