Best Ray Of Light Poems
Someday may these words I've written,
be cast upon the inner workings of peoples hearts.
When darkness begins to grip them,
and their worlds are torn apart.
As this ink dries deep down inside them
a thought shall surface in their minds.
A thought so easily forgotten
that now will be easy to find.
A battle rages on inside us all
as our mind plays tricks on our hearts.
For the love we keep hidden inside
was born with us right from the start.
For some this love has been taken
only to be embraced at a latter date in life.
Love shown is not easily forgotten
only replaced as an eternal ray of light.
May the love in your heart forever shine
for all people of the world to see.
Overpowering all of your darkness
allowing your gift of love to flow forever free.

one moment steadily turns to night ~ blackness gnaws eating away light

You slipped between my fingers
Sifted through my hands
Swept up just like gusts of wind
Blow away the sand
You tried to ride the currents
Brave the crashing tides
Fight the vicious undertow
That dragged you down inside
But the struggle made you tired
Too fragile, limp and weak
It finally pulled you under
You'd sunken far too deep
Your suffering is over
You're now weightless, free from pain
No more will you have to swim
Those savage seas again
But you'll always be beside me
Not far from where I stand
May your light shine like a beacon
And dance upon the sand.
A frightened boy struggles to cope,
filtering tears real life contains.
And scavenging for scraps of hope,
he slowly sifts through love's remains.
Fetal alcohol syndrome
warped the mind of this loving soul.
And placed within a foster home,
he paid an exorbitant toll.
He sorts lies from half-truths each day,
but he still manages to have fun.
For scary thoughts are wished away,
moving past what can't be undone.
Because his darting eyes offend,
he tries to avoid anger's gaze.
And reaffirming, you're his friend,
tests his welcome, a thousand ways.
The mind of a child guides this man,
and emotional pains stay fresh.
But, striving to be all he can,
scars of yesterday fade on flesh.
Often abused for fun and gain,
facing fears, he rises above.
And despite his anger and pain,
his lonely soul searches for love.
He's a ray of light in my heart,
he only wants to be my friend.
And close to me, yet worlds apart,
asks "How you doing?" without end.

One ray of light hit a brick wall,
at the speed of light I watched it fall.
All of the jealous bullets seemed to be gunning,
it hit the ground hard, it hit the street running.
All around this rusting cityscape,
he seen the homeless shuffle with no intent to escape.
He heard their rattling bones, he seen them fall.
Their dying cries, he's heard it all.
Bewildered he was in the midst of this war,
he began to dream of ways to even the score.
So, he picked up a pen and he started to write,
each and every word was so full of light.
Then many souls gathered to read what he saw,
they seemed to make a shrine out of said brick wall.
They opened their hearts to what could be done,
it was like Humpty Dumpty, just one by one.
With shining eyes, the blind could see,
everything in existence was sacred geometry.
Fibonocci was right, still Newton held the crown,
that all light shall rise, but first it falls down.
It learns to crawl, it learns to speak,
cares for the hungry, the dying, the weak.
It forgives and forgets along the way.
Just one of the steps in a lightworker's day.
If you wouldn't mind to light up your match,
this may be the surface, and only a scratch.
Yet, we'll rise to the top to fight like Dartanian,
our small scratches of light could light the Grand Canyon.
We'll satisfy their hunger, we'll satisfy their thirst.
We'll refill all their light, we'll stay 'til they burst.
The answers in our heart are meant to blow a mind,
open new doors to the light, who knows what they will find?

came down at night
girl pronounced brain dead
just squeezed my index finger
holding on to hope
Lovable he was when I first met him,
Also shy but savage with words,
His smile is something I've never seen before,
I was mesmerized,
You could call it love at first sight,
Or is it admiration,
Talent I've seen,but non like his,
Attraction he wields,
Longing I feel,
A ray of light,
A courage to fight,
A friend for life,
A love of a life,
A fire untamed,
Yoongi min is his name.

Shining bright
Help me feel
Beyond the steel
of the compassionless face
Lacking grace
Ray of light
Ignite the flight
of the innocent child
Whose carefree wilds
Embody the dreams
of grown-up means
Ray of light
Hold him tight
Embrace his laughter
For ever after
Promise his plight
Will be made right
Ray of light
Help me fight
Show me how
To unfurrow his brow
To contain the rage
Help him better gage
How to express
Without excess
His honest feelings;
their true meanings
Ray of light
Bring to its height
His true potential
Its value; exponential
Never again, shall he know
The cruelty, others show
Not understanding
Why they were branding
Him a freak
Ray of light
or starless night

Sitting here bored all night can't wait till I see the light that shines my soul so bright , It makes me happy it makes me glow , why can't this light always show when I want it to glow ? but I’ll always know It'll never leave my soul no matter where I go or what I do It’ll always shine through my dark times It'll find my soul
there is a ray of light
in everybodys life
for some it is a husband
for others it is a wife
for some it is their children
some are high on life
no matter where they find it
their light it gives them hope
as long as they still have it
day after day they cope.

THE RAY OF LIGHT
AS THE SUN SETS,THE NIGHT APPROACHES,
MY NERVES SINK,MY HEARTBEAT INCREASES.
WITH THE START OF A NEW DAY,
THERE IS A HOPE,THERE IS A WAY...
I MAKE A PROMISE TO ACHIEVE MY DREAM,
BUT AT THE END OF THE DAY,
I FIND MYSELF, USELESS TILL THE BRIM.
I FIND NO RIGHT PATH TO TAKE,
I STILL NEED A LOT OF EFFORTS TO MAKE.
WITH A NEW HOPE EVERY DAY,I AM ALIVE
THOUGH INSIDE IN THE OCEAN OF TEARS,I DIVE.
THE SAME ACT EVERYDAY I REPEAT
TO INCREASE MY STRENGTH, THE WEAKNESS TO DEFEAT
BUT,AT THE END,I AM NO WHERE TO BE FIT.
THOUGH I AM LESS,I LACK CONFIDENCE,
THERE'S NO LACK OF WISDOM AND PRUDENCE.
I KNOW,I NEED TO HAVE FAITH ENOUGH,
I CANNOT BE,TO MYSELF RUDE AND ROUGH.
I KNOW,I NEED TO STILL HOPE,
WITH MY DEFICIENCIES, I NEED TO COPE.
TO ACHIEVE MY ASPIRATIONS,
TO ACCOMPLISH MY DREAMS,
I NEED TO HOPE,I NEED TO START
FROM THE BEGINNING...
INDEED TO SMILE,I NEED TO HOPE,
TO LIVE MY LIFE,I HAVE TO HOPE...
I HOPE TO SEE THE DAWN LIGHT,
I HOPE TO SEE THE SUN BRIGHT,
I HOPE TO SEE THE BLISSFUL NIGHT...
I HAVE TO WAKE UP, I HAVE TO LIVE,
I HAVE TO DO,I HAVE TO GIVE,
ALL THAT,IT TAKES TO REVIVE
ALL THAT IT TAKES TO SURVIVE.
THERE IS ALWAYS A WAY,
I NEED TO FIND,SO AS TO SWAY,
I HAVE TO HOPE,I HAVE TO HELP MYSELF
I HAVE THE WILL,SO AS TO TRY
TILL I CAN SEE THE LAST BRIGHT RAY...
EVEN IN THE DARKEST OF CLOUDS,
THERE IS A SILVER LINING,
IT IS THE "HOPE"
IN THE SKY,
THE LINE THAT APPEARS SHINING...
