Best Rain Cloud Poems
naked girl bathing
river swallows her small breasts
rain cloud gathering
I hear silent whispers in the wind
“Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come
To see what
I see”
What nonsense is this
All I know is what I will come to see
Will be the shining light of the sun
As the night comes to an end
The bright sun will come up
So I wait for that light to guide me
After the long dark night
But upon morning there is no shining sun to greet me
It is hidden by foreboding black storm clouds
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I look to those clouds and only see beauty
For they bring rain do they not
And rain will wash this dirty earth
And moisten the cracked dirt
With this luscious rain it brings life
To the dead ground
This rain reminds me that through all of the pain regrets and mistakes
You can still be washed anew
Just watch the rain to wash it all away
Forget about yesterday and let the new and beautiful begin
Open your heart to what you never expected
Maybe something magnificent will happen
You'll never know until you try
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I know that I am still here
But at the moment just hidden away
in this shell of a person I have become
But like those clouds
This shell will soon be gone
And the sun inside will burst out with
Shinning and beautiful light
Just like the one that sits inside my heart
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
Time will bring this friendship to a close
But only for a short while
Until then I will remember the lesson
I have learned
Beauty Joy and laughter are not
Always going to be shinning brightly
Nor will they always be loud
Sometimes they are Muted and dimmed
But it does not mean that they are gone
Now I can say those far off distan whispers
Were from my own heart
Just hidden away
Like I was that long ago day
Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come to see what
I see
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
I have loved more deeply than ever I thought possible
Fairy tales are not true
And happy ever afters rarely occur
I have made my life more difficult
Then it ever had to be
But it was made more interesting for the errors I have made
If there ever comes an accounting of the mistakes I have rendered
I will be buried by them
But there is only one single regret
And though I know I have been forgiven for it
I do not think I will ever forgive myself
I look into those beautiful intelligent brown eyes
That I have helped to create
And see love and forgiveness
Always forgiveness and I do not deserve it
But I accept it as the gift that it is
And I hold onto you
The only thing I know is real
In a world of angry faces and words that can rip a person to pieces
You are my beacon of light
No matter how reluctant you are to shine
Winter's cast its magic spell.
Rain is streaming down the hills,
tracing sorrows to dispel.
Wind is whistling in indifference:
sparkling, surging, going in circles,
redeeming the world from all its suffrance.
Clouds are crashing,
their swords clashing.
Zealous, now, the sky is flashing.
Mist is making a dance with beams;
The world is lost in a hazy dream.
when it rain
can be a pain
angel sing can be loud
you look up high
its the
RAIN
CLOUD AND THE SKY
rice rains through his small hands
he examines the crunchy snow
and feels the tickle of each little grain
his palms, like a cloud,
he draws them upward
then slowly lets them trickle,
making solid puddles in the pan.
It will rain today and NEPA will seize the light
The firmament is dark, the cloud is enormous
The singing birds have fled
Everyone to its home
It will rain today, I’m worried
I have neither roof enough for storage
Nor grow fins to swim
My Bedchamber a harbour
for the looming flood
It will rain and flood everywhere
Motors will be trapped in the traffic,
Passengers will trek miles in group
And pedestrians will muddle the streets
It will rain today and farm road slippery
I will be drenched by the spit of the over drunk bushes,
Work in cassava plantation boring,
And father wont take no for answer
It will rain today and plants would rejoice
Happy plants will feed and feed mankind
Animals will eat and give us living
For it rains to bless mankind
It will rain; it will rain
The horrifying black sky scares me
A fair blue sky turns suddenly foul!
A calm refreshing breeze turns swiftly wild!
It will rain; look up the scaring skies
I wish you're the obedient Noah
Under the heavy cloud of the great flood
Who heeded the warning of the looming danger.
Wild ducks and grasses mingle so deeply this morn
I saw them beneath the blackish red sunny dawn
The sun rises behind the clouds, to cover it's face
And cry dip dip dip, now and then - this time anytime
Aroma has blown on the air, the message is floating
Everywhere: Night-birds --street-girls, drunk Romeos go back home
O old beggar mom, don't depart your dome and Starve today,
Let your breast-feeding baby quite in fasting by red eyes,
Pray rain, rain, rain, and raining today day and night
Drops on things anywhere, on wild geese, and on grass
Who could bring dry wood
from the wood
once the rain would start
without an alert?
For fear of getting them on her head drenched
the wench ran under the darkest clouds overhead
gnashing their teeth sounding like fart
threatening her safe journey to homestead.
Steady and alert
quickly to come out of the wood
she ran faster than her mood.
It was nothing but a play
among the rain and the cloud
with the damsel and the wood;
but she was an elf, gossip mongers say.
