The most beautiful elf
On a pink rose did she stand
With ladybirds and butterflies
In a wondrous land
With snow capped mountains
And fields of green
Cotton wool clouds
Like a delightful dream
The butterflies fluttered
And the ladybirds danced
The beauty of the elf
Left my heart entranced
Dressed in pinks
With roses in her hair
En capturing this highlander
In his delightful stare
The beauty of her pose
With mother nature's creatures
The complexion of her skin
And the most beautiful of features
What a joyous place to be
In this haven of elf's and flowers
Where butterflies and ladybirds
En capture me for hours

Looking at the horizon of the ocean,
I see the water meeting the sky.
Glancing at these typical waves,
Coming toward the inland, I start to sigh.
Reflections of the clouds move fast,
As their rippled appearance catch my attention.
Beautiful and fluffy they all seem to be,
Floating through the sky with unique dimensions.
Now off in the distance the sun starts to set,
And the peaceful waves are still in resume.
The analogous sight that was once in the sky,
Has faded and I’m left with the beautiful moon.
The breeze, so calm as it caresses me softly,
I wish I could capture this moment to share.
I’d share it with anyone who’d like to feel,
Mesmerized by the passion, I breathe from this air.
It’s a beautiful experience to sit with Nature;
Kicking my feet off this rocky ledge.
With a soothting feeling of the warmth of the ocean,
As my feet are caressed by the water's edge.

Wake up O Inhabitants of this Earth
Wake up before it is too late
Wake up before the misdeeds with Nature
Takes away with them, the best
And the most beautifully nourished and preserved
Our priceless and most precious wealth
The ice from Mountains, Glaciers and poles,
Water from the Rivers, Ponds and Lakes
Trees from Mountains, Oxygen from Air
Fishes and Dolphins, Blue Seals and Whales
Deer’s from fields and Tigers from Jungle
Birds from sky and animals from herds
Fragrance from flowers, fruits from trees
Koyal* and Nightingale to sing their melody
And above every thing, all the Seasons from Earth
Which inspires us to sing in joy
And thrill us to write poetry or to make love
Wake up O beautiful children of Nature
Before it is too late
Do not make plans to make roads up to Mount Everest peaks
Let us Make plans how to save the snow peaks
And our ever best friend plants and trees
The Rivers and Ponds, Glaciers and Jheels*
And above all let us also
Try to save our greatest wealth the seven Seas
And its innocent inhabitants
Who has given us foods and pleasures
Adventures, joys and thrills
With the ever precious gift of Rains
Which fills our Mother Earth with Water, Milk and grains
Wake up O beautiful children of Nature, before it is too late
Save our Rain forests, beautiful Glaciers and above all our climate
Before the Nature itself starts the process of changing
Without giving us the warning of its fury
Which can destroy our very existence from
This and this only place The Earth.

If I could wave a magic wand and make a fantasy week,
I would rent some cabins in the wilderness near a tourist town.
And fill each one with my family’s love…butterfly kissing cheeks.
With all my children and grandchildren happily gathered around.
Camp food aromas would fill fresh air, tantalizing and good.
We would joyfully sing campfire songs amid giggles and sparks.
Talk about the “growing-up” days while warmed by firewood.
Each child snuggled under someone’s arm as happy as larks.
When darkness came, the moon would shine upon a distant owl.
Whip-or-wills would sing their tune; each child’s heart would thrill.
We would say prayers as a family thanking God for waterfowl.
Together on our beautiful earth, enjoying the quiet still.
In cabins nestled under the stars, amid the black of night,
Beneath scented cedars and pines, we would dream our souls to sleep.
Anticipating sounds of dawn and beautiful mountain sights,
I would lie awake and soak it in, remembering sweetness to keep.
Awakened by the sounds of dawn and crisp mountain air,
I would take my camera for a walk, photographing with flare.
In every bit of nature, I would recognize God’s care.
Thanking Him for sharing sights of deer, antelope, and bear.
When the week was almost gone, we would take a family ride.
And go to the nearby tourist town to shop and look around.
I would buy each some western clothes, feeling good inside.
And tell them I am proud that family love flows unbound.
On that last day, while packing up, we would hear waterfalls cascade.
All together, my children would work, singing a wilderness song.
As I, watching grandchildren, would thank them for good memories made.
Then, upon returned to each his home we could carry this dream along.

I see the image of a white sandy beach,
Caressing the beautiful blue green water.
The tall palm trees randomly rooted along the shore,
Protecting all who walk there, keeping them cool on a warm day.
The cabanas on the beach, excellent shelter from the rays of the sun,
The white sand with the many shells along the walkway.
The beach volleyball court nearby where friendly games are played,
A walk to the elegant condominiums and swimming pool.
A refreshing and pleasurable swim in the exquisite swimming pool,
White and green tables and chairs by the pool side.
Lounge chairs where you can sit and view the beautiful paradise,
Perhaps read your favorite book or novel, reflection of a Limetree beach paradise.

STORM
The calm waters edge
Happily splashing the shore
The look of the calm
So happy and free
The perfect place
Anyone should want to be
Thoughts of friends
Family you wish to share this moment with
The overwhelming feeling of joy
A swirling in your mind
The most amazing scene by mankind
Displayed right before your eyes
You want to cry
At this feeling of pride
The pride and love of what is in front of your eyes
This epic moment
Sun shining to the sea
Such an amazing thing
Between the rays of light on sea
You see such godlike things
This whole feeling bringing you to your feet
For there is nothing like this
This one thing
The joy of this scene
The warmth of the light beaming
The feeling of being free
This perfect view.
As the sun slowly flows down
You sit with it
Staring at the sea
Its depth amazing
What it can hold
All the life inside its depth
The suns gleam
Off this godly thing
Makes you wonder
How such a beautiful thing
Exists in this world of death.
The trees stir
The sun now tucked away
The ocean moves, calm as every other day
Laying down by its edge
You look towards the sky
The stars slowly form
Showing their light
the moon takes the place
As the cool new sun
The crisp air of night
Flooding your mind
Making you lose track of time
Drifting to sleep
You awake in your dreams
The same old scene
Surrounds you
Yet it is not the same joy
The feeling is strange
The sun is clouded
Darkness making the ocean look grey
What was once a nice day
Has been shown to the side of decay
The wind flows around
But in a different tone
The way it moves
No, no something is wrong
The once clear open sky
Now looks to have drowned and died
The soft ocean seems to turn tide
Then the noise.
There is nothing.
The storms fury is coming
Spin, turn, look for a escape
Unable to hear yourself over the gale
You shut your eyes and think of the time
That time...
The one with the nice breeze
The one with the clear sky
The one that made you cry
Cry and cry
Those tears of happiness and content
The beautiful scene
That beautiful time.
the one that there was not a care in sight
the one where stars where shown bright
yes, yes once upon a time...
The bare limbs on my trees have awakened
Written By Dean Masciarelli
March 21, 2011 (4:26am)
The bare limbs on my trees have awakened
From their deep sleep and all of my trees have
finally started sprouting newly formed leaves
And my hibiscus in the back yard
is full of purple white laced flowers
scenting my yard like the garden of Eden
And all of my rose bushes have buds on them
which will blossom soon with beautiful flowers
And the crepe myrtles and the
dog woods
and the Japanese cherry trees
Have all been welcomed additions
to this wonderful neighborhood
And soon the butterflies and the
dragonflies will
return along with the honey bees
And my weeping willow will soon be dancing in the wind
which is always a joy to watch when the wind is blowing
Because it looks like an angel that has begun to spread
out its vast wings
And I am grateful for all these beautiful things because
I have lived to see another brand new season of spring
I hear silent whispers in the wind
“Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come
To see what
I see”
What nonsense is this
All I know is what I will come to see
Will be the shining light of the sun
As the night comes to an end
The bright sun will come up
So I wait for that light to guide me
After the long dark night
But upon morning there is no shining sun to greet me
It is hidden by foreboding black storm clouds
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I look to those clouds and only see beauty
For they bring rain do they not
And rain will wash this dirty earth
And moisten the cracked dirt
With this luscious rain it brings life
To the dead ground
This rain reminds me that through all of the pain regrets and mistakes
You can still be washed anew
Just watch the rain to wash it all away
Forget about yesterday and let the new and beautiful begin
Open your heart to what you never expected
Maybe something magnificent will happen
You'll never know until you try
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
But I know that I am still here
But at the moment just hidden away
in this shell of a person I have become
But like those clouds
This shell will soon be gone
And the sun inside will burst out with
Shinning and beautiful light
Just like the one that sits inside my heart
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
Time will bring this friendship to a close
But only for a short while
Until then I will remember the lesson
I have learned
Beauty Joy and laughter are not
Always going to be shinning brightly
Nor will they always be loud
Sometimes they are Muted and dimmed
But it does not mean that they are gone
Now I can say those far off distan whispers
Were from my own heart
Just hidden away
Like I was that long ago day
Take my hand and walk with me
And maybe one day
You can come to see what
I see
Oh rain cloud oh rain cloud
You can be so quite yet so loud
You know me better than I know you
Thanksgiving’s just a few days away. Yet, I feel the sudden need to write down these
random thoughts about Christmas! The weather today brings to life memories of the
season! My favorite holiday season of the year! This chill in the air, the earth-tone autumn
leaves like kites flying so high, tripping over each other as if in a race, the beautiful giant
oaks and elms, with their branches shivering in the cold wind…. Already, I’m picturing a
wonderful, fantasy-like landscape of snow; the whitest fluffy, snow drifts! Catching glimpses
of old bushy tail digging out some buried food, from some time ago. The rising smoke from
chimneys reaching for gray skies, snow-covered roof tops, the unforgettable smell of
homemade bread, baking in Mama’s oven! Then, at close of day come, the brightest
twinkling stars, glistening like diamonds on velvet throw of mid-night blue! And when the
moon shines so bright, you would think it was day... so clear you could see Jupiter if you
look closely! And I imagine how absolutely beautiful God must be!! The most beautiful spirit
there is! A view to die for because such beauty man's heart can not behold and remain in
this flesh!!! For who else would create all this magnificent beauty around us? From the
genuine smile which graces the face of an innocent child emanating from the purest of
hearts, to the single blade of green grass that leans into the wind, daring to stand against
such mighty force which threatens to break huge branches off trees!

Life seems so beautiful and so much fun
For Summer days are now over and done
And pretty days of Autumn are here
With all its luxurious glow and fair
Where trees are all smiling with fain
And changing its color same to same
Yellow, brown and red from the lovely green
And every where God's beauty can be seen
It all looks so serene and quiet
And also very astonishing and bright
That I feel lost in this God's magic
And forget about all my life's tragic
Where sky is clear, nice and bright
And no more clouds floating at night
And this is the perfect kingdom of God
Who gives us strength of love in odd
And spread all this peace and glory hue
For all of us to enjoy it too
Where sunshine falls on our face
And shows God's blessings and its trace
And gives us strength to go on in life
And learn to here brightly survive
And enjoy the miracle of dear God
Who is our only loving Lord
Who shows this beauty of the changing hue
From green to red, yellow, brown and blue.

Searching, traveling, and walking without a care. It sure feels good outside to
breathe a fresh and clean scent of air.
The sun is beautiful in the sky. Birds are chirping. Letting out air feels quite a
release after drinking soda pop, after burping.
Just strolling along with the wind blowing through my hair.
And enjoying the 33 1/2 year of life breathing fresh air.
Many years have passed since swimming. And, watching a baseball game in its
seventh inning.
When possible, at times I dress sexy. Beauty tips are sometimes shared.
Careful not to wear skirts that are too short. Sometimes with long hair guys have
stared.
The party is now over and I can't wait until there is another state fair.
Just stepping into the beautiful day or night makes me appreciate the wonderful
mystique of air.
Tenuous fragile sliver of blue.
Morning's stardust gravitational glue.
Protect your planet like a soothing blanket.
Since your creation,it's your insulation.
Deflects radiation,stellar penetration.
Tenuous fragile sliver of blue.
Your morning's mirage seen by few.
Parentally divine violent thin blue line.
Living shield,your earths force field.
Molecular creation,prevents devastation.
Tenuous fragile sliver of blue.
Kaleidoscopic gases torn in two.
Artists eisels clash, a fiery flash.
Your naked moon stripped bare and battered.
Enviously staring,my surface shattered.
Tenuous fragile sliver of blue.
Your beautiful planet will be gone too soon.
Lifelessly evolving just like your moon.
Soon our good Lord will be in mourning.
But today i'll enjoy your beautiful morning
As sunset begins to set in the sky takes on a deep salmon color.
Clouds of grays and whites start to mix and stir taking on a awesome sight.
The greenery begins to glow of a yellow hew.
The pinks turn to red and greys turn to a charcole and black.
The winds pick up tossing trees to the left and to the right.
This is the beginning of a stormy stormy night.
Then as the drops of rain begin to fall, they slap everything not just one but all.
Then as the storms pace begins to quicken the sound become that of a earie thing.
Hail begins to peck upon the roof of tin.
Hail pounding when will it end?.
Then the sky would light up if only for a glance.
Thunder would clap and scare one out of the chance.
Then as quick as it had begun the storm was over just to start all over again.
Hours had passed and the fronts had gone for now off in the distance was a
wonderful light show.
As it had quieted down we would nessle back into our bedsand closed our eyes for
a short nap.
Morning had come like a blink of an eye.
The sun was rising what a beautiful sight.
Once again the beautiful skies of electric blue appeared.
Who was to have known of the stormy stormy night?.
The beautiful cottage stood, powerful and strong,
Tall majestic trees enhanced the beautiful scenery.
There were blue spruces exquisite with elegant brush like branches,
Pines that reached out towards nature, branches sharp to touch.
The ground was rugged with rich soil and slate,
Gray and black squirrels scampered about.
There were blue jays hidden in the branches of the spruce,
Wildflowers grew everywhere, Queen Anne's lace and buttercups.
An occaissional butterfly fluttered past,
The cottage faced the tranquil and silent lake.
You could see the ducks and geese swimming and making ripples in the lake,
The residence had multiplex windows so you could view the beautiful scenery all around.
The living-room was large and spacious with tall windows,
A comfortable sofa to sit upon, chairs where you could sit back and read.
The kitchen was traditional and old-fashioned,
An old-fashioned stove where you could cook your meals and bake bread and pies.
Exquisite furniture made of log and pine, where you could enjoy delicous meals,
A beautiful haven and spacious room where you could sleep,
At home with God's paradise, my dream cottage,
A haven for all seasons.

Peaceful beauty bourn
where cataclysmic chaos
once adorned new dawns.

February 11, 2010
Poetic form: Haiku
Footnote: Bourn is an archaic term that has several meanings.
1. A small stream or brook
2. A destination; a goal
3. A boundary; a limit
http://www.thefreedictionary.com/bourn
Line 1: I used “bourn” in my haiku to bring to mind that the peaceful and beautiful places on
earth were among God's end goals. Creating peaceful and beautiful places.
Line 2: It may have taken seemingly catastrophic events such as the collision of earth plates
to bring such mountainous beauty to pass.
Line 3: And since Day 4 in the creation process, the sun brightened each new day
