O, my angel, how smitten are yearnings of lonely night!
Will lover’s fantasy enchant, dream of this dreary night?
Though alluring is its rhythm, are you aware my sweet love,
Forlorn is the song, vying favor of this sullen night?
Glance of seduction, glamor of opulence, express doubt:
Can an enamored moon enthrall, this melancholic night?
My dear, how sincerely must I plead, to heavens above:
Let dawn of desires blossom, in passion of wistful night!
It is the quest of my appeal and zeal of my longings:
Oh, fervor of my love, conquer this solitary night!
Have you not heard my love, benevolence of my prayer,
Appealing to the goddess, tolling fervid wish of night?
Voice of love proclaims~ fertile is ending of our story:
Passions will flourish, sowing seeds of love, in womb of night.
You too heard the prophecy, in words of Aphrodite:
Epistle of romance bestows, entrance to glory night!
Expect me my dear, commanding the chariots of knights;
Welcome me with a kiss, to empire of hypnotic night.
O, my angel, open your heart, let-in dream of lifetime,
Where we shall dwell forever, crafting fable of the night.
Behold the silent battle
That the changing seasons bring
Winter's grip is loosened
As the robin begins to sing
The flowers strain toward Heaven
As their fragrance fills the air
For spring has given notice
But winter will not despair
Winter will not be broken
As it fights with it's last breath
But spring's warm winds are endless
And the reason for winter's death
Spring proclaims it's victory
As it watches it's rival die
The snowflakes have changed to raindrops
As winter begins to cry
Find it in an anagram, its a name of French descent
It has four vowels in it,and is a long nine letter word.
The main noun starts with C , and ends up with an E.
Its beauty lies in sugar-coated charm,Its carefree as can be.
A melody of lyrics where graceful swans belong
If you'll get to know it, it means you found a Song.
It owns a friendly attitude like Blossoms of May
Pleasant yet stubborn, and does plenty in a day.
A bountiful orchard bestowing delightful gifts
Of kindness, calm serenity ,and truth upon the lips.
It empowers the one who owns it
with a will to change the world.Born to be
a hidden leader whose voiceless men defends.
Endowed by empathy.Spiritually insightful
Emotionally endearing ,with a tint of mystery.
By Shakespeare ,Cleopatra's attendant was called the same
but as the Bard penned , 'What's in a name'
Would you treat me differently if I just called myself
Madame,Mademoiselle or Dame?
Would my light shine brighter if I was called a star
Isn't it our heart which proclaims who we are?
Isn't it our soul which reveals identity
Isn't it our life-lines which prevail our destiny ?

Love
By Dane Smith-Johnsen
Love approaches and does not scare.
Love bears and does not let go.
Love cares and does not shrink.
Love declares and does not shun.
Love establishes and does not tear down.
Love forgives and does not remind.
Love gives and does not expect.
Love has and does not gloat.
Love hears and does not tell.
Love hopes and does not give up.
Love instills and does not corrupt.
Love joins and does not run over.
Love keeps and does not stray.
Love lives and does not stress.
Love manages and does not control.
Love persuades but does not discourage.
Love proclaims and does not hide.
Love questions and does not badger.
Love rejoices and does not displease.
Love sees and does not condemn.
Love talks and does not defame.
Love understands and does not misconstrue.
Love values and does not insult.
Love wants and does not ignore.
Love XOXOXOX and does not reject.
Love yearns, and does not insist.
Love zaps, and does not destroy.
LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER.
AFFLICTION?
It is said of young physicians when they first set out to learn
All the symptoms and conditions that known illnesses convey
They perceive these indications each one causing more concern
‘Til they make the diagnosis to their shock and their dismay
They arrive at the conviction
They themselves have the affliction
Now when learned academics write a thesis that proclaims
All white people are infected with a racism endemic
Filled with symptom and with signs supporting dogma that defames
Fragile folk are then persuaded by this plausible polemic
And arrive at the conviction
We’re all guilty of affliction
What could be more direful to survival of this blessed sphere
Than wild nature, once benign, by human feckless acts betrayed!
“See the wild fires, melting icebergs and the hurricanes!”- we hear
Computer forecasts yet sole factors we can truly call ‘man made’
Should we therefore have conviction
Of a terminal affliction?
Data now in a profusion never seen before these times
Flood our eyes and ears and minds in ‘monu-mental’ mind-bate range
Those with focussed strong agenda choose a menu that defines
And steers us, if undiscerning and from reason then estranged
To unquestioning conviction
THAT in truth would be affliction
The salt of the seas
sacred in nature...
the salt spice of life
that sweetens our existence...
Albumin, salt of tears
that we cry with blissfulness or sadness...
the salt of the earth
that is offered to the world
to sprout everything, and can not
be tasteless
(thus proclaims gospel)
cheers to salt
of redemption...!
THE ALL POWER IS GREATER!
The Big Bang designed the stratosphere and troposphere.
Below both majestic presence, Earth is the topography.
Today, all God’s creature roams freely.
Human being munificence is magnanimousness.
Now sits a child fulfilled.
She has her ink pen.
She aspires to be a writer – a great poet someday.
She is real to a righteous path.
Her themes and topics display a certain initiative.
God’s kind of poetry she leitmotifs vigorously and the melodies manifested.
A theological epitome inner cores and personification of the spirit went aglow.
Her radiance was beautiful.
Her voice recited the glory of the omnipotent.
God had sent the gift of psalm and she embraced him with open arms.
Baptism converted her soul to be a modern-day Apostle of the Lord God.
Prophecy she formed.
Wisdom and knowledge was born.
Her innateness was so strong that she was a natural.
Her libretti brought smiles.
When a release was necessitated from emotional dismay, her librettos bring
hope and puts God’s speed in place.
The Lord God sent the gift of psalm.
In a whisper, is the strength of voice.
The Lord God provides the power.
The people exclaim, “This is God’s kind of poetry.”
Eloisa proclaims, “This is praise and worship of the omnipotent."

Love is of itself an entity,
Never knowing when it's touch will be.
Hate appears, a sentiment as well.
Predators of love in consort dwell.
Cunning with intentions unrevealed.
Spiteful in its malice to conceal.
Speak the truth to know a friendship's birth,
Legacy of trust, proclaims your worth.
Time for all who live is all too brief.
Shun beguiling paths that lead to grief.
Look beyond impressions you assume.
Small the bud, so beautiful the bloom.

A welcome sight the lights ahead - like misty globules on ink black foam
The billboard elicits a sense of foreboding - Welcome to the Midnight Bazaar
A lack luster moon adds to the mystery – nervously I enter to ask my way home
A familiar song plays in the somewhere, the name eludes me - how bizarre
Somberly dressed people scurry past- eyes focused on illuminated screens
Refusing contact, shoving past rudely as I ask where this place would be
One of them in riddles tells me - this is home - the place to be it seems
I wonder if the scales of reality have tipped in favor of insanity
A stall arouses my curiosity and I look as a butcher of sorts places
Bleeding hearts getting desired effect - starts a pushing jostling frenzy
Uninterested in the clowns on stilts with their painted morbid faces
Children walk with sullen looks - expressionless eyes that fail to see
Crowds clamor to buy sea food - how absurd - especially as a smell of decay prevails
Fresh produce on sale with dyed color bleeding and truffles of mud is there something amiss
A man wanders around with passports on offer - Buy yourself a Life - his sign displays
Relief at last - a stall with books and maps – here is my escape from this tainted Abyss
This God forsaken place is not where I wish to stay
And I must strive to leave it before the light of day
An exorbitant sum I pay eager to escape his cloying breath, his black toothed smile
A commotion at the far end - some sort of bidding - curiously I venture courage giving me wings
A sign proclaims ‘Souls For Sale’- in rage I scream ‘you cannot sell souls - This is so Vile ‘
Dark soulless eyes in chalk white faces – Bore right through me – Look right through me
I run screaming, falling, clawing the map that shows all roads lead back to this Hell - I scream
Waking myself - knowing the name of that song still in my head - Shaking from this macabre dream
Footnote:
This was not meant to be a pretty poem. It exaggerates the state of a world that has seemingly lost its focus and empathy. Let's not let this happen
Take a bit of Dean Kontz, Stephen King and the unnatural things going on with food enhancements and you have the stage set for a macabre nightmare!
I play with sorrow hide-and-seek
For love will hide and I am weak,
And when I locate the pot of gold
I find the rainbow has been sold.
I explore the real life of this fairy tale
The gingerbread house is up for sale.
The frog is not what he proclaims to be
A wolf in grandma's nightie is all I see.
The prince is having a bad hair day
The beauty is not in the beast I say.
The carriage 'till midnight will not last
I'll have pumpkin pie to break my fast.
I climb the beanstalk way up high
Open Sesame I cry and cry,
Look there's a dragon at my door...
I don't believe in fairy tales no more.
So tell the seven dwarfs to stay away
Tell the ogres I don't want to play.
The damsel in distress I'll never be
For I'm the ugly stepsister, you see.
Lilies plush, in coral-pink, titivate tidy yards
Swaying gracefully by manicured green lawns,
Alluring his glance there shadows dance
Where rabbits chase, and squirrels scurry by.
The lady in rocking chair, as always, says: hi,
Cheerfully poised, adoring red-roses rise,
Nonchalant of a poodle agitating on porch
Spotting a raft of ducks slowly, slowly cross.
He floats among clouds, his dreams amplified,
Buzzing amber desires in womb of eventide
Gawking fond musings that blush crystal sky
Lauding opaline aura glinting astral designs.
Ruminating jubilance, elated she’s feeling now
Lounging in thoughts by the pond in a park
As rustling winds imitate eve’s gilded sighs
Where she sits charmed, playfully beguiled,
Greeting him lovingly, garbed in mauve smile,
Caressing impulses that blazing passions vie
When Adele’s lyrics emanate from Love Song
Echoing tunes of romance from a car nearby
Scintillating lambency of love in longing eyes,
As fervid night muses of fairyland rendezvous
Divulging clandestine clues of lush stellar hues,
Riveting gaze, she proclaims: darling, it’s true,
Up high on amorous sky, the moon feels it too.

"Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ." Titus 2:13 of the King Jame Bible
Our blessed hope radiates this Christmas and beyond gloriously…
The birth of the Saviour Jesus jubilantly
Surely bringing redemption to us compassionately
With the promise of eternal life and divine nature to experience abundantly.
Our great hope glistens with great assurance…
The sacrifice of Christ that vanquished hell’s endurance
Surely forgiving us in our confessed transgression-defiance
With the acquittal from sin’s penalty and self-righteous arrogance.
Our blissful hope shines upon biblical revelation…
The resurrection of the Lord that subdued everlasting damnation
Surely ordaining us in our believers’ royal position
With the subjugation of death’s sting and its fatal destruction.
Our steadfast hope glitters through blessed worship…
The work of the Father that exposes His leadership
Surely molding us while striving to do well by His enabling partnership
With the guidance of His wisdom and prudence for faithful stewardship.
Our triumphant hope sparkles along gratitude delight…
The goodness of God that proclaims His magnificent height
Surely upholding us in steadfastly sharing the Gospel light
With the truth of His inerrant Word and immutable covenant’s might.
Our momentous hope glows against attacking uncertainty…
The prodding of the Holy Spirit that seals His authority
Surely keeping us to stay in His will’s protective security
With the answers to fervent prayers and earnest supplications’ entreaty.
Our joyous hope brightens toward a triumphant moment…
The coming of the King that declares prophecy’s fulfillment
Surely ensuring us of precious rewards due to gracious accomplishment
With the commendation for favoured devotion and commitment.

“If you cannot be yourself, do not take away the identity of another.” -D.J.E.
Why do you return in another form,
Another residual voice?
Did you forget the palpable scar you left
Through your romantic coercions?
We believed you.
We trusted you.
We even kind of liked you.
You knew this,
You cherished this.
Yet, with enamoring backhands
You crossed the boundary of someone else's heart
While you forgot to rediscover
Your own independent territory
All in the name of co-dependent epiphanies.
Blame the shameful animosities around you
As you hide behind atmospheric rainbows
And tectonic miseries
You reach for the loins of those in disdain
As your smile falsely proclaims
That it will stop their rain
Your stalker’s reign,
The only truth behind your crooked swagger
Verbally, your conjugated kiss could never complete my sentences…
…for I’ve already been sentenced to a lifetime of paradoxical complexities.
And no matter how many profile pics you lay claim to,
You malicious self-worth will always be defaulted.

(this write is inspired by the real story of a homeless man who found a student's
bag with two thousand nine hundred dollars cash in it. the student was bringing it to
pay his tuition fees. without hesitation the homeless man used the information in the
bag to return the student his belongings.)
void
loyd,
he’s a bum
smells of rum.
covered in stink
no kitchen sink
he got nothing
he’s recovering
come see
it’s free.
void
loyd,
he’s a bum
smells of rum.
scum!, right?,
no light?
hey buddy can you spare a dime?
face it, wouldn’t give him the time.
finds a sack
gives it back
twenty-nine hundred in cash
didn’t keep it but isn’t he trash?
void
loyd,
he’s a bum
smells of rum.
what did the student think
his fingers covered in ink
pockets his money
calls his honey
tells her loudly
proclaims proudly
‘can’t judge a cover by its book,
listen to me here’s the hook.
school smart or street smart
it comes down to the heart.
that man lives in a ditch
but sweetie he is rich.
you have to take a second look
never judge a cover by its book.’
void
loyd,
he’s a bum
smells of rum.

You speak soft words saying you love me
I tell you with me it is also true
That there will never be another in life
I will ever love as much as I do you
You speak softly saying your heart desires me
And my heart gently proclaims it's also true
Telling you there is no greater desire in me
Than the one which lives in my heart for you
You tell me that you will always need me
I agree saying the feeling is mutually true
That when it comes to really needing someone
The one I desperately need in my life is you
You speak to me of your hearts special treasure
And the precious value it daily brings to you
I tell you my life is made truly prosperous
By your priceless love I never want to lose.
