It just blows my mind how prices have changed
The first house I bought cost $12,000, that's insane
Cars cost a heap
Dog food ain't cheap
Getting too excited is not good for my brain

Have you noticed gas prices all over town?
At all of the pumps, they are going down.
It's a wonderful thing that seems almost unreal.
What great news for those who spend time behind the wheel.
Whether you drive a car or a truck,
it seems like a beautiful stroke of good luck.
Lower demand and increased supply cause the reduction.
OPEC also will not decrease production.
If you drive, you will have a little extra cash.
The lower the prices, the bigger the stash.
after prices paid,
God blesses us with the gift
of a needed break
The rise in prices
Price increase becomes
Price adjustment
But the rise is something different
Unlike the tide
It only rises
And never falls
It's seasonal
Just like the durian
Every year at least once
With the Financial Report
And Unlike the durian it seldom falls
If it doesn't rise
The piece of cake is smaller
Less tasty
If it falls
The cake is even smaller
And maybe changes flavour
Unlike the fall of durians
In the olden days
Which makes everybody happy
Especially the poor planters
And the gluttons
The rise in prices
Makes most of the people sad
Especially the under income
And everybody centres on the rise
Has forgotten the rise of wages
I hope one day the wages will rise too
And never fall

Characters were going to Delhi.
Exotic goods they wanted to buy.
Their prices were low.
Their sales were slow.
Their biggest hit was the henna dye.
These prices are outrageous! I yell, leaving the store.
I cannot slam the door on my way out, but I want to.
Where are the groceries? My husband asks.
He is sitting in the car, waiting.
“It’s way too expensive here!” I tell him. Drive to another store.
In silence, we drive across town.
I am horrified to see that these prices are worse than the others.
We are going to another store, I tell him.
In a few hours we have returned to the first store, empty-handed.
I run in and my cart is waiting for me, with all of my stuff inside.
“We knew you’d be back!” the manager tells me.
He gives me a cherry wave.
I go through this every Wednesday.
Are through the roof!
We can always eat cat or
dog food!
Meow, meow! Woof, woof!
Add spices, salsa and noodles.
The whole, yummy kit and kaboodle.

A nature food chain
Linkng the carnivorous and the herbivorous
May be simple
And so an economic food chain within man
The rich and the poor
The poor works hard for the rich with low wage
But when the rich dumps the rubbish
The poor can collect it and sell for some money
Garbage in a disposable bag
May be useless to the rich
But a treasure to the poor
A nature food chain can be complex
too
The same for man's during the rise in prices
The seller only raises the prices to get the same profits
But the buyer pays the extra expenditures
Without someone sharing the burden
The chain goes on and on
And the rich becomes richer
And the poor remains poorer
You can refer whatever I am
writing to whoever want to.
.once within reason
prices became out of site
money disappeared
only stupid people
will have many stupid thoughts
being stupid things

that has ever existed
became a moron
had been condemning
while constantly complaining
always criticizing
is hostile and mean

when he would rehearse a curse
which we did disperse

lying and cheating had been prone

My accountant said I'm officially poor,
so I headed out to the grocery store.
Food now costing so much more.
Preparing tuna casseroles, eating spaghetti
striving to keep track of every penny,
is making me anxious, my palms now sweaty..
Gas prices may have stabilized but every thing
else continues to rise, even every day household supplies..
Merchants smile at you so you think their the nicest
and claim that it's all post pandemic prices or that limited
supplies have caused this food crisis..
I've said no to Lancome and designer jeans as I struggle
to stay with in limited means. My bank account chronically
seems to be lean..
It's not much fun being poor, especially if one's known
money before. I'm starting to ask what else is in store?
Let freedom ring from sea to sea but America is no longer free.
I'll keep on working at 73.
Gas prices are soaring through the roof
because of our "dependence" on fossil fuel
and the price hike on fuel will forever continue.
So what's a consumer supposed to do?
I don't blame Bush and I don't blame Obama or any future President.
I blame the consumers of fossil fuel users who have become so complacent.
Everytime you pump fuel into your car
you continue funding the ongoing Middle Eastern war.
Your automobiles are apparently more important to you
than our children getting slaughtered at the height of their youth,
but if you truly believe that all this oil is worth them dying for
then continue fueling your cars and funding the war.
Just know that gas hike increases will continue for sure
and the death toll in Iraq will continue to soar.
As for me? I refuse to drive a car anymore.
...and please everyone,
do try to refrain from
leaving me a comment stating, "That's easier said than done,"
because that's a defeatest attitude if I've ever heard one.
Where there's a will there is a way, but for now I stand alone
pleading to all Americans, "Let's Bring This War Home!"

Those oil companies are perpetuating their ways.
The prices at the pumps continue to rise.
They go up each time I blink my eyes.
No matter what you buy, low or high octane,
the prices are enough to render us insane.
With this situation, for whom are we to thank?
It costs a small fortune to fill up my tank.
What has been causing all the unjust hype?
The smoke from burning money goes out the exhaust pipe.
Not all of the factors seem quite clear.
Any type of intense argument can precipitate here.
I cannot take anymore. We must all take a stand.
More affordable gas prices are what we demand.
The gasoline prices keep going up. we have
no idea of when they will stop. We went to
war because of the oil, but it didn't work.
we are still in deep trouble.
The rich are getting richer and poor are
getting pooer. The big companies are making
billions, while we are here struggling to make
ends meet.
It doesn't get better as days go by. We have to
decide on what to buy - if it's gas for our cars or
pantry supplies. Our jobs we must keep or wind
up in the streets.
What can we do? Our wages don't go up, but the
gas prices keep going up and up. If people are rich
they don't care. They have money to spare. But the
rest of us are left almost bare.
Should we go on a general strike and boycut their
gas? All I lnow is that we have to get out of this
mess. We need to stick together. We need a strong
voice to support us. One man alone can't do the job.
He will be labeled as an instigator.
We should get together that is all I know, or we will
all wind up in the hole. They say we are all equal, but
I don't think so, because I don't see us getting our
share and that my friends - is not fair...
Prices May Rise Without Notice

If you’d save a few cents on gas
Today’s fill-up don’t ever pass
Because to pay less is your desire,
Never wait, since it will be higher
The station where I bought before
Since yesterday is now a dime more
Even while we are using the pump
Will gas prices soon be able to jump?
