Crossing the Desert of Life

Who’s that Standing

On the Corner of my mind

Shouting out Insanities

Throwing up a hate Blind

Saying I’ve been Abused

Violence will justify the Crime

Pretending, he Cares about me

Secretly Planing my demise

What's that Thing Poisoning my heart in pain

Coloring my eyes Red wishing you would suffer

Pointing at YOU to blame

Surely, he walked in Uninvited while on my Knees I cried

When Desperation turned to Darkness

Good God I never felt YOU by my side

What's that voice Slyly questioning

Sowing Doubts in fields of hope

Get behind me Wicked one

Tempt Someone else

Mixing your Truth with lies

I don't Care for it

I was Born to Live and YOU were made to Die

Art and Heart

the art of poetry isn’t hard to master
make the syntax good and entertaining
the gruesome heart of poetry brings disaster

a meter errant makes the lines come faster
an oxford thesaurus gets the listeners waning
the art of poetry isn’t hard to master.

a genius woke and saw a verse rush past her
it only needed polishing and planing
the gruesome heart of poetry brings disaster

she left the oven on, it gassed her
ever since her folk groan, paining
the art of poetry isn’t hard to master.

she saw her selves as coloured shapes in plaster
and round her mind, were ghosts all craning
the gruesome heart of poetry brings disaster

there’s not a lot of hope if we’re complaining
for criticism from hidden ghosts is draining
the art of poetry isn’t hard to master
the gruesome heart of poetry brings disaster

Take Time

Slow down Son
Don't go so fast
Enjoy today, here and now
Planing, prodding, deciding
Takes time, and that's what you have

Enjoy your life
Enjoy each day
Feel the joy, feel the pain
Take time, that's what you have

They say Rome wasn't built in a day
Your life doesn't need to be either
Find your strengths, feel your passion
Take time, its what you have

You don't need to decide right away
Find out what feels good, don't stray
But if you do that's okay
Take time, for what you have

Build your life on your dreams
Set goals and follow full steam
Never give in to futility or whim
Take time, for all you have

There may come a day when you say
I wish I could longer stay
But you'll need to move on
Take time for all you can

Each day I see you become
Stronger where you've come from
Learn from the past, slow down not so fast
Takes time to see all you need

No matter how fast
No matter how far
I'm behind you all the way,
Take time to feel what you need

An Ode To a Witch

Copyright 2014 ALL RIGHTS RESERVED
Poem By THOMAS LAM HSI

THERE IS ONLY ONE TRUE GOD...THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY...WHO ALONE CAN
SAVE FROM Satan...who plays 'all' roles...the devil...the 'Lord Jesus'...
the 'Father'...the 'Holy Spirit'...all 'Other Gods'...and 'alien gods'...HE...THE
LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF IS FULLY GOD AND MAN...AND HE ALONE...
IS THE ONLY WAY TO GOD THE FATHER...and to an Actual Heaven!

Oh, that crackling thunder, my ears torn asunder,
That folded mural in the sky-
It glistened and gleamed, like jewels on high,
I marvelled at my passage, until my victim drew neigh.

That fair-haired maiden, a youthful lass AT BEST,
I would de'er enter her vessel-
And lay my wizened body to rest,
Upon such sweet innocence, I'll leave her torn and regretful.

I've searched within my old sinful heart,
These many sweet wenches, I do now recall-
But my only regret, is one day will I die,
Oh, my crackling thunder, 'tis gone and lost for all.

I'm but a vapored cloud,
Drifting and planing night and day-
But now I'm an image lost,
My family so far away.

An ode to a witch, INDEED,
It could have been so hea-ven-ly-
But a stitch in time,
Ne'er leaves its rhyme, as I did so hap-pil-y!

What It Is To Be Free

Not many see,
What it is to be free.
What it is to amount,
 To make every day count.
Everything has a story,
Though the place your at you say is boring.
There's more behind this rundown town.
 From the highest mountian,
To the streets unfound.
 Where children once played,
And by their side their parents stayed.
Where the sky may not shine as bright,
But to every darkness there's light.
Where the creature's of the world find home,
While your complaining that the air's too cold.
 When you're strong, it shows,
Planing each day as it goes.
Smiling and helping whoever you can,
Instead of moping about how much you hate this land.
You can't change the way the trees sway,
You can't change what's already gone away.
But the beauty of the world can take you in,
Make you see beauty like you should have when your life began.
When you start to appreciate the little things,
Like the crickets chirping,
 And the songs birds sing.
You'll find all you needed has been there all along,
Only then you'll see where happiness comes from.
If to see is to believe,
 Then there's belief all around.
From the starry night sky,
To the flowers on the ground.
So many find pleasure in all the wrong things,
 Humanity has overcome,
Yet still falls apart at the seams.
We're so focused in on money and gold,
Before we know it our life has no meaning,
 Our skin becomes cold.
It's never too late,
And you're never too near or far.
To make the best of things,
And be happy where you are.

POLITICAL GAME 1

Political game is so dangerous,
Yoh! I wonder why the government
of United Kingdom
granted refugee status
to some Rwandans
while planing to send other asylum
seekers to Rwanda.

Political game is so dangerous
as the government of  rwanda
is secretly forcing some refugees
to join his soldiers and the rebels
M23 in the War in DRCongo,
Yoh! I wonder how the government
of England will send all their innocent
asylum seekers
in the country with no rights.

Political game is so dangerous
Yoh! I wonder how the UN will pass
this dangerous deal between the governments
of Rwanda and England which breaks
some UN laws.

Love Is Friendship On Fire

Clean up your closets,
pick up your thoughts,
put them in order,
first come,
first served.
Take a break from love,
open up your mind,
stay true to yourself,
stand firm on the ground,
stop dreaming about life,
take control of it,
take a chance,
say no once in a while,
yes, open wide those sleepy eyes,
be honest to yourself,
don't avoid those who you care about you,
take friendship to the next level,
think about love as a foolish game,
play as a professional,
don't fall behind ,
take control in own hands,
be proud of what you've done,
make plans for future
with out planing at all,
don't let your sweet words go,
listen the rain falling on the roof,
be open for chances,
new adventures as they come
don't fall behind the game
be ready for defense,
as you play offense,
love is friendship on the fire,
it burns off if you just dream,
be ready,
or...............you're gone,

Love is friendship on fire
or just foolish game!

Stroke-Out In a Rant

i do the dance of circumstance
my brain react to a simple Mercenaries attack
red, leaky, small vain, and poison pains
what great planing
makes me see that
there's no hope for me
and the suns of no shining

old man from the hood, stopped me
and said
"you'll, never get back your property
so, taken back by how much the
hood new about me and the people
who where sealing from me
so i gave the hell-up
and never say a word
because who would believe
me over theses whit (with) money

bigger than i can see

i am so
Synonyms: ignorant, not informed, not knowing, oblivious, unbriefed, uneducated, unenlightened, uninformed, uninstructed, unschooled

about the real crimes of the world
and wonder why my education didn't inform me, as to how too
get my rights...

maybe that's the way its will always be...

The Revolution Aka Sticking It To the Man

Of all of the days to sleep in this late
Why did I have to choose today
The revolution we'd been planing along
I'm sure was already underway

I grabbed my bag, thank goodness already packed
And headed for the door
I ran out so fast my dog was aghast
My feet barely touching the floor

When I arrived at the park
I saw none of my friends
There were old ladies knitting shawls
Old men playing rummy and gin

I was already there
So I refused to go home
The revolution got canceled
And I wasn't informed

So I stood up on my soapbox
And yelled listen to me
All the old folks gathered round
As I gave the greatest of speech

I talked of how long
We'd been beat down by the man
As I went point by point
Of my intricate plan

There came weakened shouts
From a few in the crowd
While the hearing impaired
Wondered what all the fuss was about

We all moved to the street
With luck a Boy Scout happened by
To help all the old ladies across
But only one at a time

We surrounded Dairy Queen first
Because they have ice cream soft serve
Which goes down so smooth
When your wearing dentures

Next we did a flash mob
In the local Right-Aid
There were old women swinging purses
And old men waving canes

They all slowly shuffled down
The adult diaper aisle
Where they stripped the shelves clean
With raspy giggles and wrinkly smiles

Things were running so smoothly
According to revolutionary plans
We were creating social havoc
And sticking it BAD to the man

In the middle of the craze
My cell phone it rang
It was my radical friends
Wondering where I have been

I'm a tad bit embarrassed
That's the least I can say
In my mad rush to arrive
I went to the wrong park today

So I snuck out the back of Rite-Aid
As the swat team arrived
If I had a conscience I'd feel bad
In leaving my new old friends behind

There Will Come a Day

It's so funny to hear them all laugh aloud as if it never mattered,
One day they wont feel so Joyful because their lives have been shattered.

Not taking their time to understand or make any plans for the days to come,
Soon they will find out how bad things really are when they are on the run.

How I have tried to show them these things they do will only cloud thier way,
For them to settle down and start planing for those times that will come one day.

Why it is so difficult for them to see what I am saying was meant to be,
To do nothing to correct their paths rough roads is all they will see.

There will come a day when they wish they had paid attention,
I was telling them we must beware but they would not listen.

It will be as the end of days for those who did not pray,
Never Thanking the Lord for the blessings each and every day.

Remember those words Please Father Forgive them ,
For they do not know what they do ,I say , Amen..

Bovine One-The Rocket Ship

Farmer Jones set out to build a barn
A shelter for his bovine
When the wood started disappearing
A little at a time

The cows were taking it to pasture
On the other side of the dell
Little by little in the middle of night
Hoping Jones wouldn't be able to tell

This plans been festering for ages
At least since some of them were veal
But cows aren't very good at telling time
So how long is really hard to tell

Anyways they know they have a plan
That's what matters when it comes down to it
And what it is they've been planing
Is "Bovine One" The Rocket Ship

This time they're going to the moon
They had a cousin who jumped over it once
But that was so many years ago
And cousin Eddie has long been somebody's lunch

They got the plans out of Science Illustrated
When Carl went in to use the can
The day Farmer Jones stepped out of the house
A little secret the cows are keeping from "The Man"

They know nothing about jet propulsion
So the cows broke down and asked the goat
The smartest of all the farm animals
Another little secret nobody knows

In the process of building they used galvanized nails
The goat said in space regular nails would rust
I never would have thought of that
I guess goats are even smarter than us

When "Bovine One" The Rocket Ship was completed
It was on a Wednesday the count down did fall
The day Farmer Jones noticed his wood was missing
And the authorities were called

As they began to investigate
A bright glow came from over the hill
Still to this day no matter what people say
They don't know what the object was nor ever will

The Rocket Ship is still up there in orbit
With umpteen cows inside
Next time you hear a cow moo, look up cause you too
Could see "Bovine One" as it passes by

Did they ever make it to the moon?
No one around really seems to know
I bet you could get the answer though
If you were to go and ask the goat

Pushed To Limits

I was pushed to the limits
my thoughts were disturbing
was i orchestrating a path of distruction
i had no mercy for folks who crossed me
were folk so confused about me
had i been keeping a score card all these years
was i a ticking time bomb
was i planing a suicide mission
or did i just want to out shine them one more time
was i dead serious or just burned out of life
would this be a bad scene or the worst
scene you have ever scene
was i indulging my depraved mind
or was it i am a ticking time bomb
was i out of my mind was i completely
out of control
would you ever think of me again
would i go to heaven or hell
Bang it was over
folks were crying and asking why
what went wrong with me
folks say i was a loner and a outcast
always keeping to his self
i left a note that they read
no one going to push me around no more!

The Slave Owners Birthday Surprise

I'm the owner of a large plantation
From generations has been passed down
On my property, close to a hundred slaves
Need I mention it's in the South

My slaves all know their place
Though I know they all love me
Cause I don't beat them when I want
I just beat them when I need, tied to the Whipping Tree

Lately I've heard the slaves a whispering
There's definitely something going on
I'm pretty sure I know what it is
My birthday's soon to come

They must be planing for me a party
I'll act surprised when that day comes
They fall all over themselves to please me
Not just because I'm the one that holds the gun

So here it is my birthday
I awake looking for my help
They are nowhere to be seen
Who's going to run my bath for me, I can't do this for myself

Then it is that I remember
About my big birthday surprise
I run expectantly out to the front yard
But find nobody in sight

So I head down to their one room shack
Where they all sleep on the cold dirt floor
Readying myself for my birthday surprise
I swing wide the wooden front door

I see no cake, they sing me no song
The surprise they have for me
Is the noose they throw around my screaming neck
As they hang me from the whipping tree

This Time

Those moments when i
reminisce
Those fragments of my
yesterday.
Momentary
peace....momentary bliss
Wherein we sublime in
ecstasy..
Ravenous kisses
Every single minute..
Every night our passion
we ignite
Our bodies in unity...
Those times when loving
you was abominable
But my confidence
where as aggressive
As the forces that were
repellent
Trying to cease that
which is timeless...
Our love my empress

A few has changed today
A lot seem to be going
sway...
This wasn't kimsten
Not the one in my
perception..
I had dreams of a happy
ending
All i see are dramas
without ending...
The air is full of splenetic
remarks
We've turned to the
dark side of our heart
which is nefarious..
Why let hate gallivant in
our heart
When there is excessive
space for love

My lily that blossoms in
the valley
That's another title for
you my lady..
Remember those days
you called me honey
When your beauty was
exquisite..
Quit a few hasn't
changed since then
Time itself cannot
incognito your vigor.
You are a diamond
You are priceless
Other ladies shine but
you are the brightest
You have been with me
since my past and
It brings me great
delight to see you right
here..
Though i see moist in
you eyes
But they glisten when
you smile ....
Though a few moments,
but i cherish..
I dwell in and with you
That's all i am planing

You are my past, my
present and future
You are my lady, all i
ever live for
