Premium Member American Idol

Hearing talented young voices provides such pleasure
In our quest for America’s latest idol treasure

Next year the judging panel will not be the same
The man we love to hate will leave for bigger game

What will it be like without the infamous scowl
Of the Brit who tells it like it is -- Simon Cowell

“That was simply dreadful,” says he with a wry smirk
“You came off karaoke; it just didn’t work.”

Randy asks, "Yo, Dog, what's with the off-key pitches?"
Ellen’s there for laughs; she leaves us in stitches

Kara strokes her long, brown hair, bats her lashes too
Asks Casey to remove his shirt, flirts as he follows through

But Simon never offers consolation prizes
Contestants' egos crash down as their anger rises

If he tells Big Mike he sounds karaoke
We may find Simon adrift in the Okefenokee

Choosing a replacement will surely not be easy
Adam Lambert? Paula's return? Oh, it makes us queasy

Simon will be missed, the show will suffer ratings
Viewers may depart for loss of the man they’re hating

"If I feel physically,
            as if the top of my head been taken off,
                     I know it's poetry."
                       --Emily Dickenson

          ~~~~~~~***~~~~~~~
No money no honey from this honey
You may look but won’t rub this fine tummy;
That maybe so, but I ain’t no dummy
Shining like gold—don’t you touch this Emmy!
Pay gone, drunk, smoky, come acting thuggy,
Don’t treat me like an Egyptian mummy;
You have nerves to tell me I look yummy
Step back—know that I will not be chummy!
Say what, you will find another bunny?
Git, to your saloon playing gin rummy;
Tonight I’m keeping safe my sweet plumy
Leave—before I pull my New York Jimmy!
Swiftly, before doorknob hit your bunny,
Shuggy—I ain’t got time tonight bummy!
Public Toilet
You may use this toilet, but please do not spoil it,
Quit being mean by keeping it clean.
Flush it with water, not with what’s meant to drink,
If you care for others you won’t let it stink,
Ensure your aim is always true,
Use the right place meant for doing what you do.
Never leave bits and pieces lying around,
Inside the potty, not made on the ground.
Others may step on it, perhaps fall and trip?
Just because you made, an uncivil slip.
Always put value on that gleaming commode,
Whether in ceramic or moulded from spode.
Inside your home it would be ever so shining,
Why leave some strangers all worked up and whining?
Paying respect to everything going in under your snout,
Also pay attention to whats coming out.
I am man
I am love
I am man
I am evil
I am man
I may smile
I may cry
I may save you
I may die
I am the result
Of a couples dream
I am life
Or so it would seem
I can do a great many things
I am just one
Of the father of all kings
I am the life, love and birth
I am the child to assess it’s worth
I am the prayer
I am the payer
I am the slayer
I am the hopeful
I am the dreamer
I am he………….
Person, Place Or Thing
You may never know how unhappy you have been
Until you meet a new person that brings you joy,
Until you visit a new place that gives you peace,
Or until you get a new thing that makes you happy
Day after day; however, you may not want to know.
But you may never know how happy you can be
If you stay with the same person that steals your joy,
If you visit the same place that robs your peace,
Or if you keep the same thing that makes you unhappy
Day after day; however, that may be all you want to know.
New Generation of Rebels
We may be young but wer're more than a box,
In a mirror you may see the reflection but not much
We're eager to get out there and show what we've become
Seem not to give credit for all the work we've done
We're human too, and intend to make the same mistakes as you
A thought a mindless educated guess, u thought it cud hold a little
longer long enough for press.
But however you're mind gave in and was already fried, that was the
you gave it yur best shot if not the suckyiestu gave it all uve got.
But ur sinking inside yurself Woundering if this is all a dream this
hide.
I'm agreeing to you becuse you ate worth fine gold, for those wise
unforgetable words that u once told. U told me to never giveup even
So from step to step each heartblowing guttwisteing path we all try
The Portfolio
If you look inside
You may be amazed at what you find…
Maybe some small imperfections
Yet, heading in the right direction…
There is one, who does not boast…
But, has endured much and stays afloat…
Having peace in mind
Remains smiling most of the time…
Having not time to stop and gloat
Seeking, to help others remain afloat…
Continue to look inside
You, just may be amazed by what you find…
Sunlight Streams
Sunlight streams into a darkened moon. It's the dawn of a new era,
marked by downpours of tears and fears. Soon a moon will orbit a
planetary being, being as they do. So what is the meaning of eternal
life as in life, as we know it? Globes may wobble and will unseat-those
beating those scrambling over the walls, so tall.
A small child may go over, into the clover, and into the arms of her mother.
Lovers unite, no longer fighting, and loving tight into the night. Air crisp leaves wet with
mourning dew. Fearful tears of ignorance and emotional carefully plans executed gone awry.
Why now? You know why. Mayan soccer balls, hoops, Doctor Nostradomus' books told
lots of stories. Truly some may continue to pass.
Sunlight streams upon my face and it is warm.
Behind This, Lies Deception
Everything may seem alright
At first
But truth is, it isn't.
You may think that things are fine
But behind these eyes
There are a whole lot of lies,
Deception,
Falseafication,
An unknown being
And over all a soulless person.
Behind these eyes you'll be tricked,
Among of which everyone is
And not only will you not see the person I am
But you'll see who you want me to be
You won't see that im just an image
Created by light and sound
Which may include emotions,
If thats what you truly want to see
What lies behind these brown eyes
Is deception,
Is a lie,
Is the truth,
Is what you want to see,
Is just
Not the real me.
Stick around and see
Maybe you'll like who I really am
Maybe not...
Your call
I'm not going to pretend anymore,
I'm tired of pretending.
This is me, you don't like it?
Then turn around and walk away.
Behind these eyes,
There will always be secrets.
My Lonliness
My lonliness
I feel so alone
And wherever I may roam
I cannot possibly escape
The feelings that are in my heart
I know that we'll never be
And yes I truly do see
That your heart is with another
And I'll never be in your heart
The way I want to be
So you see I'll let you go on
To me your just a memory
A memory of what could have been
It is partially my fault
For becoming attached too quickly
I should have seen from the start
I could never be in your heart
So my darling this is farewell
Friendship is all we have
And that is okay for me
Premium Member Do You Watch, Do You Listen, Do You See
When you woke them up, at the crack of dawn
Did you smile at them today?
Did you pour a cup, with cream and love
Then send them on their way?
Did you drive with ease
Not hog and squeeze
On the road to work today?
Did you offer space, in your place in que
At the crowded store today?
Did you keep your grace, when the others raced
To crowd in front of you?
Quite often through our day
We say the same old line
How are you today?
They answer ..."I am fine."
But do we really listen
With hearts that open wide?
Painful stories may be hiding
Behind a mask of pride
Next time you ask this question
Just watch before you start
Their eyes may be revealing
So listen with your heart
Rage
I'm pacing like an animal that's stuck in a cage,
My shadow forms a Lion blocking sun from my rage,
Each footstep leaves a paw mark sinking deep in the ground,
while it's wake is hiding me from such a deafening sound.....
My mane is full of highlights from the fire within,
Burning like a skylight so the day cannot end,
And though I may be miles away admire the light,
Don't look too long cuz its that strong you may lose your
sight...
So look toward the mountains everytime that I roar,
The echo that embrace's you knocks you to the floor,
You'll only have a second just to get to your feet,
The second wave is coming with more pressure than heat...
When anger is the only thing increasing within,
You have to make more room for something else to move in,
Find the highest pinnacle that faces the shore,
So you can cage what caused the rage and roar till no
more...
