I Was a Fool

by Parizo

You chose me in crowd
You came like a scout
Back when they called me a clown
You upgraded my moods
And all my flaws were blur

You picked in the dark
And showed me the light
You brought me all hope
And I began to cope
You made me proud
I never even cared about my background

When I expected you to show me love
You told me it was a time to leave
A time to leave and follow your dreams
Maybe you had it all planned
You got all my feelings on the plate
And left them burning in flames

I had plans for us two you know
But then ,out of nowhere you vanished
you reaped me and me feel like I was loved
My neighbors knew you
Family heard about it too
It hurts I have to lie when they are asking about you
I wish I never met you

No Love Left

By Parizo Van Thulare

Too much feelings that I've invented
Too much much of my time that I spent
Loving the wrong
Hoping for the best

I've Sacrificed with all I had
Telling myself I would be enough
Thinking some days I will sing those of Ralph
Unaware I was polishing a dynamite
That which fell on my phalanges
That which put my soul in paralysis

Yet here I am on the west
With no tear to shed
No feeling to share
My heart is in square shape
No beats ,I feel no change
No ticks , quite as the orphanage

I fell but my feelings won't catch me
I tried but love won't let me
Sometimes I'm bored
Not for long I abort

How am i going to live with such an empty heart ?
How long will it take my scars to heal ?
I feel no love anymore
So down ,all of me is lost

I Am a Black Child

By Parizo Van Thulare

I am a black child
I'm not ashamed of the things I do
I eat porridge when I wake up
I know nothing about beacons
They muss with my stomach
They once veered me into a clown
I rather cling to brown maize and eggs
They have created a brave man I am
I know nothing about first class life
I know everything about rolling a dice
A nice life allures too many worries
Life with a dice creates strategies
I will never conceal because I am black
I will always thrive till this life ends

Brothers For Life

By Parizo Van Thulare

In this world i live in
I have you to keep .
Out of these souls I've met
You still the one standing still.

When life punched me on the face
You were the one standing with a first aid
And after all this time
You still the one by my side

My brother ,my blood
We still fighting life from left to right
With one love by our side

They code of my Dad's pride
The last of my Mom's prime
The only Gift i have in life
The only soul i love for life
I can kill for you
And I'm willing to die for you

Even if means reaping off my skin
I'm down with such sacrifice As long you still breath
Then my soul is at peace

Never leave me at war
Lean on me , i will be your greatest wall
I made an oath and will leave by it
I chose to be your shepherd by all means

Bothers' love
Sponsored by blessings from above
Inspired by true life

My Beautiful Africa

By Parizo Van Thulare

I was born endless miles from the town
Where tales are told about the king in his crown
Where plates are treated same glass
So fragile respect is of the erything
So beautiful My land is stunning

I speak in languages of types
Pepperd with traditions
And dishes of all kinds
African made with the greatest taste
African grilled with inspiring tales

Where I come from mountains sing the sweetest
Rivers play the romance
The Baobabs are cutiest
It is the land of its own kind

My Africa ,my quest
I come far away from the mountains of Drankesnberg
They Roar with beauty .
Near Lies the tunnel of Straitjdom Lepelle flows peacefully
Full of acquatics living blissfully

The words it sings
speak for the trees
It breezes the fume of sighs
With a flavor of purple ice
Down to Mapunghubjwe I rise

My Africa , my best
The history of the greatest is unleashed
It calls upon the genius to come and aphrend
It calls upon the future to come and learn

My Africa ,my pride
I haven't done yet
Get something to write
Still I 'm here to rhyme.

Talk about the bothers of Kruger
Worldwide are known
 Worldwide they are shown

The falls of Victoria
The Valleys of Zambezi
The desert of Kalahari
Lobola or mahadi
This is my Africa

See the cars in colors pouring
See nations in rainbows queuing
To see only the biggest
To witness the wrestlemania of the nature
Ohh! what a wonderful adventure

My Africa is my biome
The land of dreams and hopes
All thanks to the almighty for such smashing home
I'm so proud to be an African
I'm so down with my heritage

The Invention of a Village Life

by Parizo Van Thulare

I was born endless miles from the town
I was raised to wear a crown
I may look shy in a crowd
But i was born to survive in these dark clouds

Criticism makes me bold
Unlike protons i know how to settle even when it is cold
I know what a struggle is
I know how to be independent means

They say i was raised from a dull background
Some say i grew driving copper wired cars around
But that created the person i am today
It was preparing my heart to face such life

I am a village boy
The invention of a village life
Thee innovation to the future life
I am a village boy
I'm not scared to tell stories of how i was raised

Words have come from the other side
Saying i have a soul of a kite
They say i don't know how to hike
They forget i raised in a cave
I do know how to climb
Thats why i always thrive

These scars on my face
They do tell many tales
The battles i fought with my enemies
And the path I've travelled to this moment

This Is Now

By Parizo Van Thulare

Now you realize life after matric is not child's play
Now you realize nobody chose to stay
Now you see the reasons beyond the grinding

Being independent is not as easy as you thought
Bieng a tangent is not as easy as you were taught
Here we do practicals
No theory is of existence

When the genius dance above the law
We are the first suspects
When Romeo breaks Juliet
We are the first to be given names

It's a race of mankind versus patience
A war between money and love
A match between fame and success
Only few get to choose
The majority get to loose

What you have been told then
Becomes addition to points of Cardinal
That one which we poke
When there is still hope
The one that we poke
When we become broke

Wishing time was an R line
So we change gears and it displays reverse lights
So we all jump in and go back to life
Back when we knew nothing about worries
When we were just babies in napkins

Dreams become reality in television
In real life they don't exist
Welcome to my world
Here we fight only for survival

Oh My Africa

By Parizo Van Thulare

what have we done this time ?
What happened to together as one ?
Why us?
Why now ?

I thought what we had back in the ages was through
I thought that blood which was shed back was dew

When I heard of the rainbow nation
I was moody and glowing
When I heard of color making combination
I knew things would come smoothly
It felt so nice
Seeing those of my kind so bloomy

Continents from the South bowed to us
Those from the north started sharing with us
They knew we were peace makers
The knew we were good neighbors

But now
Things have gone south
Weapons are used like spoons
Wearing down every street like troops
With sound blocking my ears
That smell of a man burning makes me cry

I felt useless looking at the screen of my Aunt's television
Asking why men are in collusion

Why chasing one with such hatred ?
Whilst u know that when it rages ,it destroys hundreds
Why calling one with words that are sour ?
Whilst we thought you are the one with honour

I dreamt of waking up in the middle of Zambezi one day
I slept picturing the beauty of Victoria Falls today

But how will I go there ?
If its residents are being bullied in my home
How will I see such beauty
Whilst guns are rattling next door ??

Ohh! Lord of mercy
The father of billions and trillions
Please come and deliver us from evil
Save us from varnishing
Please protect my Africa

Love Lies Bleeding

By Parizo Van Thulare

No more feelings to spare
No more good times to share
Not even tears to shed
Nor Kisses to spread
One's heart is blur
One's mind turned to a fur
These pictures are the ones to stare
Rewinding memories when love was found
But they are of no use
Is all lost
It was all mystery
Now it is History
Pride swept it all
Love lies bleeding

Interjection

by Parizo Van Thulare

The calls we have smell love
Our minds are driven by lust
I'm too far by distance
I'm too close by feelings

It is hard for me to sleep
You are the one who is holding the keys
The keys to my heart and soul
You drive my mind with no foul
You heard me searching too deep
I bet u love is as luxurious as a jeep

You talk so smooth
You are treating me so good
You always know how to change my mood

If by chance you falling for me
Feel free to mend me
If by heart you need me
Please come and be Mrs me

Kwanele

By Parizo Van Thulare

News papers are full of words
Magazines are showing blurred eyes
Tears are a full house
Yet they stay hoping they could be loved

Their scars ohh lord
Those screams dear god
Abo'mboghoto
they are hurting
Abo'Mamabethu
 they weeping

They need you Baba wase mazulwini
To deliver them from abantu' bazontini
Baya hlukumezeka kodwa they are afraid to say
Baya safara kodwa they choose to stay!
These beasts told them not or they will be slayed

Can somebody make this cruel men pay ?
Please I'm begging
If I had super powers
 I would myself
If i had those of superman
I would fight this war myself

When usis'wam is being raped by umalume
Where are family values ??
Who will protect me when thieves evade ?
Whose shoulder will I lean on when trouble make a parade ?

Ugogo is being punished by my brother
For not sharing her grant of Sassa
Whom will I tell when I'm being bullied at school ??
God ! What should we do?

Umama is fighting for her life at hospital
Just coz she said "No ' when this stranger tried to grab her hand
Her face is now covered with tears
Her eyes are about to sear

Umakhelwane can't even walk
Coz she was beating when trying to talk
With scars like flowers around their waists
They cant't fight ,these men are beasts

What's wrong with you modern men
Why are you being so cruel ??
That is not noble ,but scumbish
That is so horrible and cowardish

Switch your ways gentlemen
Lead the way and let's fight those who can't
This is not ours alone
You have still families ,please atone

Poetry

By Parizo Van Thulare

My greatest inspiration
You provided me with renovation
Since you gave me clarification
I began searching for my destination
The route was full of confusion
There were no shadows not even a place of relaxation
There was chaos and separation
I was the last on the selection
Safely i arrived and was given a kind Acclamation
Now i smile in satisfaction
My life and i have the boldest connection
Poetry and i are the best collection
New life full of motivation
New home and I'm reaching acclimatization

Life Is Pain

By Parizo Van Thulare

Doubts are taking over my mind
This is too much
It feels like a desert wind
My love life is stuck in the wild
I have none to hold they say I'm cold

Why can't i be just like any other person ?
Why am i always the one who gets life lessons?

Seasons change
But I'm still the same
The friends i made are calling me with names
Even when it rains
I still feel stuck in this cage
I wish i could change this lane

I'm so weakened by these pain
All my love ones are down the drain
The ones that are left they wish to see me fail
I try to be strong but i can't prevail

Please help me lord
Happiness is rare in my world
You the one i lean on
Give me the strength to carry on

Money

By Parizo Van Thulare

A paper with illustrations
A coin with symbols
It is everything you buy
It is the state you bribe

One's mind you distract
One's eye you attract
You have taken so many souls
Yet you still continue digging holes

You grew fangs
And recruited gangs
You made it clear
And yes life without you isn't fair

Everyone worship you
You fed them with ego they grew
Those that praise are few
It's you that they chew

You Don'T Get It

By Parizo Van Thulare

I'm not hurting coz I'm soft
I'm not sad coz I'm like croft
I'm not mad coz my heart is -15 knot
I'm crying coz you fail to notice me when I'm okay not

I've never cried for one before
I've never seek for such attention before
I've never felt so emotional back then
But when I do
You call me a nagging soul
You say I'm the boring type

I put my feelings on the line
Abandoned all the selfish kinds
so I could let you be by my side
So I could let you be my knight
Instead I'm taken otherwise

Why are so failing to notice a difference between love and fame
Why are you turning me into Cane
Why are so taking me for granted

Don't you get it ?
I'm addicted to you
I'm so in love with you
In my mind it's only you

You don't get it ,do you ??
It's fine I will walk away if that you want
It's fine I will stop bothering you again
Maybe you will feel better that way
