Paragon of Virtue

His logos, oh, God had photographed
and made young Jesus his negative!
That, for us to see, to paragraph
it in life, so our souls, be received.

But what’s faith does to my biograph
that my blooming illusions believed?
His logos, oh, God had photographed
and made young Jesus his negative!

Faith is like snowflake, a calligraph,
on fingertips of my thoughts that give
a paragon of virtue to live,
a subjective plot upon a graph;
His logos, oh, God had photographed
and made young Jesus his negative!

Paragon of Excellence

Here stands a fair beauty
Queen with poise and
Dignity.
The daughter of an
Erudite,an erudite herself
One of the three central
Spoke-persons in the
Assembly of law-givers.
The defender of the
Helpless,mother of the
Motherless. As fearless as
A lion,who dared the
Gunners in power,time
Had she spent in jail,
Thrown in by the most
Powerful.
One thought she would
Cower down,yet more
Resolute she became.
For stonewalls do not
Make a prison make.
She still the people's
Mouthpiece.
Champion of war on
Gender in-equality,a
Visionary leader,hope is
Rekindled-hearts rejoice,
Tears of joy pour freely as
She mounts the podium
Of power.

Paragon Idiolect

Floating in universal am biotic energy
Anchored to the sun by magnetized rainbow light beams
Intertwined torsions fluttering in universal symphonic frequencies
Charting experience maps using emotional tendencies
Holding energetic space; knowing sources grace…
I feel my heart beating
I feel my heart beating I hear my inner master I am pensive powerful peace…
This awareness is my savior; I am the individual hologram creator, designing my life with energy
The lovers dance is whole when the eyes see the inner mirror of one’s self appreciation Pulsing through my endocrine being calm heating crystalline feeling…
Empowering me with courage love humility
Opting to free myself forever from fears futility
Releasing fantasy pressure; squeezing forth my inner diamond into the outer
Surrendered to the unknown magic; being with mastery like the lotus flower…

Premium Member To the woman I love

Today is your birthday my love
You are in the mood to celebrate

The moon shone brightly last night
Heralding beautiful sunshine this morning

In appreciation of a paragon of beauty
Born some years ago

Wonderfully and beautifully made
Enigmatic and tenacious

Determined and loving
Audacious and outspoken
Visionary and persistent

I wish you the best life can offer
You are one in a trillion!

Happy birthday my love

Premium Member Paragon of Lady-Empowerment

Hillary R. Clinton is a “woman of substance”
Paragon of lady’s great empowerment indeed
USA’s Former President’s wife of intellectual elegance
Gracious public servant of Democrat-creed
Meeting her constituents’ lawyering-need.

Politician with sterling qualities
She’s a steadfast diplomat, affirmed by her global influence
Writer and public speaker of education impact-verities
Homemaker as well as spouse in her reigning prevalence
Dearest mother and grandmother along her pampering presence.

Premium Member Paragon of Sublime Beauty

Paragon Of Sublime Beauty.

A paragon of sublime unblemished beauty
A surreal wishful dream come true
Ivory skin as smooth as alabaster
Elongated neck and bare shoulders
To paint silver kisses and rapture ensue
Silken threads of glossy raven hair
The most captivating smiling eyes
Lipid brown with the most amazing glare
Her demina and charisma
An invigorating pleasing
Breath of fresh air
.
The Empress who rules my world
The finest treasure to my heart and eye
Awakening the sweetest emotions deep inside of me
Only one so fair
Could ever satisfy
.
One moment in her presence
Is heaven bound
One moment without her
Is like hell
Underground
.
An Angel of virtue
Unique and one of a kind
I a part of her
And she apart of me
One heart soul and mind.

Russian Doll A Paragon Of Sublime Beauty.
.
What lay behind those tawny beguiling eyes
Full of mystery and intrigue
The the mind does ponders
And by her beauty what does one perceive
Does her angelic mesmerising looks hide
A happy smiling heart
Or a heavy one full of tears
And broken deep inside
.
A brief moment captured in time
For prosperity
Of a sweet rare innocent fragrant bloom
Cut down in her prime of life
By evil hands
In an execution room
.
Could such immaculate profound beauty
Ever exist
With romantic heart and virgin lips
Never to be kissed.

Paragon of Virtues

Paragon of virtues in not here
All there is are jests
Reapers of fruits of sorrow
Apologists of denied rights
Givers of plateful of tears
Oedipus creatures of tragedy
Notorious angels of piracy

Over-seers of dangling diabetic bellies
Fire- fighters against free conscience

Virtue is scarce as rain in Sahara
In praise of folly is preoccupation
Royalty shifting to trigger-happy kids
The schooled not educated yet
Unless Spirit of God descends
Electra, Oedipus beings shall prosper
Scary ghost land homeland postures

A Paragon For Nigerian Youths

Like a cheetah that's a natural born sprinter
Tobi Amusan is the world fastest female sprinter
And like an American Quarter Horse
Tobi Amusan has become a discourse

Having proven to be the world best
In Oregon's and Birmingham's contest
The hurdler's emergence is certainly unsudden
A lesson for he who with his ambition plays chicken

Like every tree with a seed to bear a kind of fruit
Every youth is challenged by this to be resolute
If only we have a sense of acuteness
Every man is created with a seed of greatness

Whoever isn't resolute with his seed is a failure
And a failure is always a lone creature
Except your seed becomes a gigantic tree
No one will come to you like they gather for apple bee

Tobi Amusan has become a market of horny bee
And a gigantic tree for everyone to come and see
The kind of paragon every youth need to bear a good fruit
Maybe by this they too can become resolute

That in spite of our system that kills impetus
Or the hurdle or detritus that life may bring to us
Like Tobi Amusan, we too can glide over such
To be congratulated like she whose records bear a good touch

Paragon

Poem 1

I'm sick of trying to apologize and
sick of trying to make things better when all I do is
make things worse
and I'm
sicksicksick
but it's still the only medicine and it still
gets me high
so I'll keep vomiting up excuses
to talk to you
andandand there's always something more
It
Never
Ends
Which is just what I said to you before

Poem 2

Maybe you did think of me that day
February 7 2011
maybe you thought of me and maybe
you smiled as
you turned to him and accepted an embrace

Poem 4

What would you say if you read all this?
you probably wouldn't like it much
and i don't blame you
maybe i should just get rid of it
but
you wouldn't like that much either
because once you told me
poetry is part of the soul
but you erased part of my soul
once too

Poem 5

how could your paradigm shift so much as to throw

me

all the way off? maybe
				I
just tripped and fell or maybe someone else bumped into it and knocked
										me
off and your hand was too busy in his to help me back up

Poem 6

'ladies all this time i thought you wanted me to be like you you don't want me to be like
you now you'll sing for me' said the man who's no longer interesting
and you were always afraid of that
that i was just like you but
really i just liked you
but it's funny how now we
are both the same
i'm sad
you're sad
or maybe you're happy now but you probably don't care much
since i'm not interesting either
any more

Poem 7

What a pair we were when
we were both pro and antagonists
to each other
advancing our story
and creating conflict
and then you wrote me out of
it all
(still in the editing process)
but that's okay i can still
write about you you can still
be the heroin(e) in my tragedy

Poem 9

"if" is such a pretty word it changes
all the woulds and shoulds
to cans and wills and makes our
whys becauses and changes the whole reason behind things.
i can
sit and write if then would you even though i should but you won't because you can't but i
will if you think we could.

Poem 10

three's a crowd and you never
liked those much but when
you're
all

alone

one of
us
could still hear you whisper and it's a shame
because i always heard you scream

Premium Member Paragon of Life

Zeal of freedom reigns with God’s grace and kindness

Faith stands, hope clings, sharing truth, staying cheerful

Showing vibrant care, guarding pride from vain lurk…

My parents’ journey*.

Beau Ideal

Nectared graces overwhelming must
Underline your pulse-halting charms;
Utopian opal spelt by honeyed terms,
Resistless pearl cased in mortal dust.

Fair-miened nymphs kings did melt;
But such sly vixens, like old Phoenix
Acing artful Death's ambrosial tricks,
Would find your rig a conundrum yet.

Dead fancy's fairy in gowns of wool,
Would vote this trim flawless figure
Finer than fiction's gildings meager;
Nature’s art unsullied by apish tool.

Nor would pageant-lauded beauties,
Though posh their foppish styles be;
With roses laureled in limitless glee,
Dim this time's own queen of cuties.

Where lurks this sure paragon high,
Beauty-capped acme of poets' tales;
Yet glamorous and unbeaten in vales
Of breath and death where jewels lie?

THE PARAGON OF STRENGTH

Oh, man, a marvel of creation's might,
A distinctive being, with zeal and passion bright.
Ever ready to toil, to provide and to sustain,
The weight of family responsibilities, he bears with no complaint.

From dawn till dusk, he labors with unwavering dedication,
Enduring the slings of insult, from superior and subordinate's desecration.
His strength, a wonder to behold, a testament to his unyielding will,
For the sake of loved ones, he perseveres, his spirit unbroken still.

Oh, man, who can compare your strength?
A pillar of resilience, in the face of life's length.
Yet, as you care for others, heed this solemn refrain,
Remember to tend to yourself, lest you suffer in vain.

For when you're gone, others will remain,
Your wife, a new love may obtain,
Your children, grown, will forge their own way,
Leaving you, dear man, to face eternity's day.

So take time to check yourself, to heal and to mend,
To indulge in life's pleasures, and to be happy, dear friend.
For in the grand tapestry of life, your thread is unique and fine,
Weave it with care, dear man, and make your life's rhyme divine.

Paragon of Virtue

Respected but more feared
As a man of tempered steel
An expert at ensuring he got
The best of any signed deal.
He got a Degree in Pomposity
From the university of life
Followed by a Masters in
The Obvious and The Trite.
Doctorate soon followed
In Self Righteous Thought,
Waxes forth on Social Media
Where he daily holds court,
Pouring vitriol and scorn
To those who don’t know
Life’s a veritable paradise under
Our beneficent Status Quo.
A paragon of virtue, this
Self proclaimed made man
Telling the world if he can do it
Then surely anybody can.
International businessman
With his modern sweat shop
Using Zero Hour Contracts to
To keep his workers on the hop
He attends religious observance
Al least once every single week
Where he virtuously professes
To be humble, mild and meek.
He’ll probably live for ever
Which really isn’t so very odd:
No Heaven could be big enough
To hold both him and his God.

Paragon of Love

For love we try to do wonders,
Only to make our happy endings real.
We fight for it no matter what happens,
Thinking it to be worth the cost.

But is love that hard?
Actually it's not.
Actually it's us and the people we love who makes it look hard.
But the right person will make you feel like a cake walk.

I am sure one day you will meet someone,
Who will actually nudge you on the right path and will give you the best advice.
All of a sudden your life becomes simple,
And starts making sense just because of that person.

I know we romanticize other's love story or a movie or poetry,
But in their case love actually never arrived so easily.
Because life is all about trials and errors.
You just have to wait for the right time and right person to appear in your life.

When someone's really into you,
You don't have to beg for their attention or anything.
Nothing needs to be forced when someone genuinely loves you.
They will be there for you even if they aren't around you.

I know sometimes things will be hard on you,
But I also believe that you will find your way out,
And it will easily be forgettable in front of the person you love.
In short you will live and not survive.

Love is beautiful,
Love is magical.
Love finds peace when you look at your lover's eyes.
Love hopes you to be a Paragon for other's love story.
