Best Overthrows Poems
She comes to bat with the score tied three to three.
Staring out at the pitcher,
she goes into her stance,
just hoping the ball will come over the sweet part of the plate.
Into her motion, the pitcher winds and fires.
Gathering all of her strength,
her eyes lock on the fast approaching yellow softball.
Like a gladiator ready to charge, she coils her body ready to strike.
Swinging with all her might, she connects
and the crowd goes wild as the ball sails
over the center fielder's head and to the fence.
With the crowd cheering,
she takes off like a young cheetah toward first.
A smile on her face and a gleam in her eye,
she looks up and catches the coaches signal to go to second.
Seeing the ball is still in the outfield
and the third base coach waving her on,
she rounds second and heads for third.
Fans fired up cheering,
mom and dad hold their breath and pray
as she rounds third for home.
Looking up and seeing a good relay throw to the catcher,
she throws on her brakes and reverses to third.
A bullet throw from catcher to third base
has her in a rundown.
Like a ping pong ball, they have her running back and forth,
but she’s not worried with her speed.
Then it happens,
the third baseman overthrows the catcher
and she is off for home.
Heart pounding and breathing hard,
knowing it will be close,
she dives feet first and slides into home base
under the tag to make a home run.
The crowd is roaring in the stands,
jumping up and down, hollering and clapping their hands.
Her team mates run out of the dugout and mob her with joy.
She’s made the winning run to break the tie.

As the earth dances in a stately minuet about its celestial lover
Bringing forth in its progression a season of rebirth and colour
Conferring on the land and air an anticipation of sweet romance
Dawn lights the clear blue sky as the earth pirouettes in its dance
Everywhere the dance of the sun overthrows the mantle of white
Fingers of ice loose their hoary grip freeing imprisoned fairy and sprite
Gone is the stillness of river and stream, bonds broken are now so fleet
Having been released to join the world in its magical dance so sweet
In valleys a carpet of snowdrops dance under newly dressed trees
Joyfully rainbows of wild flowers lift their heads in slow graceful degrees
Kissed gently with the love of the sun those that slumbered through
Long days of ice and snow now arise to join the dance and life renew
Meandering brooks reflect the colours of gossamer wings dancing above
Nascent larvae spin and twirl through shimmering crystal to a song of love
Over mountains high the soaring eagle watches life’s dancer’s move to the dream
Purple, red and pink a rainbow of perfumed colour is everywhere to be seen
Quietly bees move in perfect harmony with the dance as it has always been
Rivers once barren now teaming with life striving against the flow
So return to their beginnings, the dance draws them on with its glow
The dance brings all together and the joy of new life is the songs refrain
Upon the highest peak the cloak of white continues its frigid reign
Victory for the Suns fiery dance unattained still one icy realm does remain
Winter’s promise is here written that its dance shall usurp the land again
Xerxes in all his splendour does not compare to this timeless battle so arcane
Yet still the dance goes on for its brief time as the riot of life covers our earth
Zealous are the gods of our world’s beauty when they sing the song of rebirth.

Let us embrace
the dark
with love and rapture.
With a passion
that overthrows life
a riot in our hearts.
Light a candle
we feel
the vibration
coming from the flame.
It burns it's way
into our psyche
clear as a crystal
we possess an eagles eye.
I lay bare before you
feeling content
loving you
in your nakedness...

In solitary silence i commune with my own heart,
And diligently consider its questions and awnsers,
It declares to me that all real questions have real awnsers.
Truth offers herself to all who enquire after her.
If insulted she will look for better company,
From better dispositions and warmer hospitality.
She exists like a spirit; not timid and weak, but powerful,
And she will share her power with all her followers,
To bless or curse those who use her influence;
If used for justice, she will protect and defend,
If for mercy she will inspire benevolence and goodness;
If used for love she will make worthy of the same;
If for hate she will bring misery, if to deceive she will condemn.
Of all in existence she is the most excellent!
Because she illustrates lucid and clear choices,
She conveys the most profound feelings,
And the grandest most sublime imaginations,
She plainly discovers beauty and ugliness.
She is not property to be owned and controlled,
Nor will she own and control those who know her,
She imparts the power of pure intelligence,
Witch is nought else but her own power.
She makes the best people, and also the worst.
The great and wise who raise others to her vitality and glory,
The wretched and miserable who by her abuse and oppress.
She discovers what is, what was and what will be.
She influences the highest and most beneficent liberty,
And also the heaviest oppression and cruelest tyranny.
Lies can be vehemently hurled against her,
But she overthrows all direct contact with her enemies.
She is equally impartial to flattery as she is to scorn.
To doubt, wonder and question is to stand in her shadow.
To reflect, reason and believe is to see by her light.
She is not in words, thoughts or silences,
But manifests and presents herself through these.
She is the absolute that makes possible all absolutes,
She emanates knowledge, confidence and wisdom,
With her fear dissipates and disappears,
And beauty is her splendor; She is the mighty Truth.

Parler en d’autre langues im Gott der Geiste
Ecstatically, I will elaborate.
Not knowing Joel’s visions you suppose
That we are drunk this morn. Don’t be enticed.
Evaluate... wine does not cause this trait.
Commitment to this cause that overthrows
Our roaring lion leads us on. As Christ
So sacrificed for us, we imitate.
Two seven two two octal bits in rows.
Notes on "Pentecost":
The first line starts out in French (English translation = "Speaking in other
languages") and ends in German (English = "in God, the Spirit").
In the last line, the 4 octal numbers (when broken down to binary) have a
sequence of 1’s that form a Roman cross, i.e.
2 = 0 1 0
7 = 1 1 1
2 = 0 1 0
2 = 0 1 0
This was inspired 'picture-message' that was beamed into space by the Arecibo
radio telescope in 1974, with the idea that mathematics would be the ultimate
language.

Mere means of being master of all labor, this power
Overthrows all virtue, and write the metered history
Nations spin web in web, and now it is the cocoon hour
Emerge the spider on spindly legs from calyx tragedy
Yelping bankers and their merchants billed for all wars
Consumers credit lost, money minting on us its scars
Ruined trust in men awake us to being pawns of greed
Economy after economy in goldless tatter and its shame
Dies, drizzle, toxic in resuurection the fawned at weed
Industrialist used to circumvent taboos in the blind game
Trapping with historic dream the energy of men stagnant still.
I come not to Zion yet but old Jerusalem in desert sand
Sighing at the prints, O garrulous the nail marked hand
Debt and deal transacted, the calyx shrivels in winkless sun
Orbituuary of Babel's history, Mammon's feathers unwaxed
Nature in sure cycles recovers, wind breaks the spider spun
Emancipated faith confronts the Ceasar, ransomed and taxed

It's a brilliant and starry night,
The moon overthrows it's light,
As shadows dance across the warm wet earth,
Like fairies illuminating the murky forests,
With their otherworldly glow,
Playing hide-and-seek,
Beneath the toadstools,
And the hollows of sleeping flowers,
It is quite mesmerizing.
Think of vast emerald green hills,
Rolling towards the sea for miles,
The coastline with the sound of colliding waves,
The heavenly scent of the sea breeze,
Drawing you closer toward it,
Beckoning for you to enter,
As the minute fish that flip into the air,
Almost seeming to fly into the still night sky.
Just thinking about it reminds me of a poem,
To my love,
I give thee the sky,
The earth, The stars and the heavens,
The land and the sea,
The creatures that dwell in and upon it,
The fire that burns on a cold winter night,
The crystal palace wrought from the shimmering ice,
Everlasting life and faithfulness,
And most of all,
My never ending love to thee,
My sweet goddess of eternity.

I wish
To demolish my sorrow…
I wish
To forget the despair and gleefully grow…
To forgive and seek the challenges of tomorrow…
My downfalls and my failures…
I wish
To disappear
I wish
I had no fear…
For God’s near…
I wish
I could be a cheetah in the grassland
I wish
To store all of my energy for an evening run…I’d never give up in the process
I wish
My whole spirit could simply sponge in God’s nature and make great progress
And I truly wish
I could stick to my daily plans of building a sturdier relationship with God
I wish
I had the merriness in my life especially during hardships…
My countless wishes
Brings me down to my weakest point…
My countless wishes
Overthrows me…but it helps me in the long run…
I wish I could forgive
My daily regrets and breakdowns
I wish I could forget
My despondency – embracing my frowns
I wish
To live a life without error
Without a care
I wish
To be flawless when I make my everyday decisions
And scare away
The darkness that tries to make me give up
I wish
I had more time to overcome…
These waves of emotions
My countless wishes
Brings me down to my disheartened state…
My countless wishes
Are like walls from every direction closing in on me…
But it’s a convenient tool in the future…
I wish
I could be live in someone else’s shoes…
But what good would it do?
Would it lead me to the narrow pathway?
Would it inspire me to push all of my doubts away?
Would it push away the blues?
Could He give me any clues?

I do not think my mind,
Is like he used to be:
He used to chat with me,
Contradict and chide me,
Play cunning wit, puzzle,
Chuckle with, amuse me;
But now he's darker;
He hides things from me;
No longer open,
Like he used to be.
When he speaks to me;
Commands me simply;
To do such actions,
I am loath to do.
I cannot fight him;
He is stronger still,
Then ever he did used to be;
By some bold force,
Which powers him,
Quite overthrows,
My weak body,
The pact he had,
With self-control,
That part of him,
I used to know,
No longer is

As dusk overthrows the dawn,
the sky's face glitter,
Another call for moon play,
where lover fritter
in love's hide and seek
two dreamy souls intertwined
in night blissful shriek

When man turns into bandit,
and thinks folly is wisdom,
to govern the republic,
he overthrows own government,
he bitterly desires to hang on.
On his tomb shall be scribbled;
“Here lies the dull man
who was bitter with himself,
hugged and kissed adversary,
to occupy this palace.”

Verse
It's difficult to function
In the midst of destruction
Peace, come to us in time of need
Give graciously, wave 'bye to greed
Let me function all on my own
Your devices are going to crumble...down...
Get me out of this cage of alone
Your malice chases away the humble...in this strange town...
Peace gives graciously to the needy
Chaos takes away hope from the greedy
It's difficult to function in the midst of destruction
It's not your fault I have lost my direction due to assumption
Silence overthrows the ominous, nostalgic night
Daylight dawns upon me with such luminous light
Don't fence me in with your love again
Follow my footsteps to the unknown; for I, alone, will find where you been
Fade away the faithless hues of gray between us
Know that we are together in this on the same bus
Hatred will never shower down regret and distrust upon our love boat
Shameful dread and sorrow will not be our tomorrow's raincoat
It's difficult to function
In the midst of affliction
I'm marrying the utmost, marvelous joy in my aching heart before it shatters apart
I'm divorcing the many disdainful and painful trains of thought from the start
It's difficult to function
In the midst of destruction
If there really is a sweet heaven above,
Will You shower upon us eternal love?
It's complicated to figure a way out
Of your desolate dungeon
It's hard to make a difference, with no doubt,
Under pressure times a dozen
Difficulties arise...difficulties arise...lowering our highs
Much like the brink of morning's radiant, yet resonating sunrise
Saw it right through your eyes, in your moonlit, sunset eyes -
The gracious truth beneath the hideous lies...boy, how time flies
The lies of society are sugarcoated with lullabies and goodbyes
But, still, we will share the lovely unity of our low-deprived highs
Finally, God answered our prayers and why's
He answered each and every one of our cries
Difficulties arise as we try to function in our hopelessness
We cannot avoid the fact that we are always together in this

Touch the soaring leaves of autumnal gold,
What canvas can capture such grains untold?
As the King Midas touch runs through their veins,
A November palette fusion now reigns
See the Old Oak standing erect and tall?
Its broad leaves a cascading waterfall,
Season impressionists blend the hues,
That overthrows the deciduous blues
Smell the rustic damp of the fallen leaves,
As the Willow wipes tears without her sleeves,
Drooping with envy at the evergreens,
Who mock her without her tender lush greens
Hear November lull for the next season,
To December, silver sage of reason,
Who will wrap around her chilled crocheted shawls,
Preparing the palettes before Spring calls

Careless and crazy I have become as a human being with a wicked human nature that is an entity to God Most High..stumbling upon the tragedies and misfortunes of this World of Woe
Helpless, fearful, cheerless, grateful - these are the sentiments I embrace deep down inside - when will I be set free from this captivity I call Hostile Home?
Emptiness fills my cranium and I am in want of wisdom that is contrary to the lusts of my heart; ancient destruction and decadence takes over me and I am praying that I'll still have hope in mind and confidence to find
Angst and anger zap me like silver lightning and it slithers into my veins, sending me pangs of painstaking pain that overthrows me, overwhelming me to the extreme, my self-esteem below zero
Random rage disappears and I am left with what I call "chear"...fear not, cheer on! Anxious joy chears me on and I am the vibrantless sun and You are the illuminating moon! I'm defeated to the core by the iniquities of my passion-drenched heart, mind and soul
Fearfulness builds adrenaline throughout my body...so uncomfortable in my own skin when I'm associating with my companions
Underestimated by the words I say, but I'm stronger than I realize, I'm not alone and I'm not a failure...I'm an invincible individual with a chearful mentality
Loyal to the creator of this Earth, but I'm fearful of the destruction that the world must go through...but I'm cheerful that You are by my side always and forever - I'm faithful and hopeful that Your Word will lead me to the Kingdom of Infinite Glory, where Jesus Christ will raise us from the dead and crown us as Kings and Priests, so we can judge the world with righteous justice!!
