I Live (I Tag Poet Destroyer)

I live.
I live to write.
I write of both understandable and incomprehensible things
I am a teenager just living the average life of semi poverty just like millions of others
I have hopes, wants, crushes, and worldly desires just like everyone else in this world does
I believe that I will accomplish what I set my mind to
Striving to be the best I can be
Writing about these things is my self-obligation
I am who I wish to be and will always be
Living life as a free female
Being an example to those that are yet to learn about what they are going to face in this life
In my own little world when all around me is crashing down
Having no fear of what is to come
Rollin’ with the punches
Scribbling out what I believe
I know who I am
I am a poet.

The World Needs More Poets

Smoke ladened vision
scratching at my eyes
    making them cough,
conversations drift
across the panorama
  of my hearing.
(the world needs more poets)

Words rattle,
     separate conversations
    combining,
       melding,
  sinking up together
to make sense.
(the world needs more poets)

9/11,
     always honored,
Johnny Cash
    filled space
with honorable reasoning
   biting at laws flaws.
(the world needs more poets)

My mind
     sinks inside itself,
grabbing at the crimson and dark,
     lancing the boils of imagination
and still notes drifts in
   soothing the savage beast.
(the world needs more poets)

          Stay off the sidelines,
bite into the fabric of life,
    feel the blood
        run down your chest,
   exciting your nerves
as you lick your lips
and wait for the next inspiration.
The world needs more poets.

Living Through Your Words

May the world see the person in your writing
For the person, you, is buried there so deep
May the world see the person in your writing
Allowing chances and friendships then to keep

May the world see the light within your writing
As it shines so brightly, blinding all who see
May the world see the light within your writing
Allowing you, the person, to stand free

May the world share the pleasure of your writing
For in each line, there are images on display
May the world share the pleasure of your writing
For between each line there’s so much more you say

Fly

Onward I go
taking a step further in search for peace
liberation
freedom from deceitful misery
that obliges with the scent of insecurity and intimidating inevitability
of a world filled with so much insincerity and atrocities

Onward I march into the freedom of liberation for my soul
away from the scenes and thoughts that blur and numb me further away from serenity
I dance to be beat in rhythmic synchrony to the compelling forces of the ice-like
crystallizing waves beneath
I soar in dancing tune to the dancing echoes as heavenly avatars unknown respond in
gliding showers refreshing soaring approaching in response to reclamation of what is mine,
what I need, the essence of me, defiling defamations, constructing inhabitions
smothering my way to a world my soul awaits to see

Onward I march under showers of salvation
as I become one, reborn, to that eternity
watching as the gloomy clouds unfurl slowing into hollowed receptions in this glacious
zone sewn with inscriptions gluing green

Onward I dance, setting an index of redemption ready to fly
as I embark on the journey of the unending road
running in-between shadows opaque that dissect reminiscing with thoughts embezzling what
is mine
desperate I resuscitate transacting with the world I want to see
feeling sounds of the inevitable cooling whip-like lashes of my tainted being on this
mountain of mine

I feel kisses tingle on me in hallucinating dignity
through nature’s beautifying eyes of rescue
as it sets my sight worthy of each of its corresponding flickering flashes
setting my conscience loose as I ascend, fly
come
and
watch
        me
          free
                as
                  I
                      fade
                              growing
                                          in
                                            diminuending-crescendo
                                                                                with
                                                                                    the

                                                                                       wind

My Keep

My Keep

I feel that I have burrowed away
The outside world is held at bay
For it is here that I can play
Smell of candles in the air
In this place I do repair
And think the grandest thoughts my dears
To laugh or cry my many tears
No judge no jury of my peers
Snug on the cool sheets I may laze
To find the words that will emblaze
Feelings about our world so fair
Or perhaps I’ll write from true despair
This is my room my palace my keep
My place for joy my place to weep

Perfect Union

In my wildest dreams

I could not imagine a most perfect union

of thought and imagination

the creation of imagery, that take you into a virtual
world of possibility and hope

a world of darkness and despear

a world that encompasses all human emotions
stringed together into coherent and incoherent
scribbling

a soul is touched

a tear is resulted

a heart is hastened

never are we more eloquent

when we are pouring ourselves onto a blank page

we serve our master well

ink dipped into our sweat from our brow

our boned carved pen scratches our epitaph onto
the tablet of our life

it is no wonder we are coveted

sort after

revered

despised

as we chronicle our journey

scrutinzed by our peers

our words reaches out and connect.

The Future 2

The future looks good, but a bit scary. Every time I think about the world changing in
front of my eyes, I'm afraid that the Earth would be way too developed. But fortunately, I
think that the future is clear and I'm ready for it. There's advanced technology,
digitally-enhanced vehicles, including the cars, and stuff. What's also going to be there
in the year 3000 to 3009 will be tall city buildings, TV screens will be all over the
futuristic version of the metropolitan areas, and the city streets will have underground
train stations, like Harriet Tubman, when she discovered the underground railroad. The
future will also include new computers, new cars and trucks, new cell phones, and new
exotic places. Every human being and a lot of aliens will still be living peacefully every
day for the rest of their lives. I'm so looking forward to seeing the world of advanced
technology. And if I were to stay on Planet Earth for the next 50,000 years, then I'll be
able to see everything changing and stuff. I wonder if the Earth will go back thousands of
years and if God were to recreate the Earth?

Writer Within

I am able to freely walk through the universe at a whim with in my thoughts and take with
me all of the world for an adventure with a different view. I caress the brush that
paints a vivid picture and joins the morning walk like a warm conversation where desires
unspoken are freely expressed.

In the perspective of the minds eye, the pallet is only bound by colors unimagined as is
the canvas textured in a vast white endlessness. The reach of my influence is summoned to
fill the emptiness with the flavor of words, to fill the air with anticipation and create
the aroma that moistens the lips with a kiss.

My charge is no small matter to me for it will call on me to turn the stones within myself
and face the sleepless nights of adoring preparations. Ah but to release that which has
already been in the cradle of my heart and is now shared with the world through my pen is
ecstasy to me.

Vintage Poet

For time clogs our minds,
  While you flourished into life.
You kept on through the hardships,
  And hurtled over strife.

Your inner will was great,
  An inner force of will.
You persevered your roll in life,
While the world was standin’ still.

You ran circles around the world,
  With your powerful thoughts.
You are a vintage poet,
  That the world forgot.

How sad a place the world would be
if there were no more poetry.

How could we ever sing a song
if it were blank where words belong?

It would be such a horrid curse
if the world should lose her verse!

We'd lose our love calls and romance
and places tiny angels dance.

We'd lose a special way to share
our joy, our sorrow, hope and fear.

Too sad a place the world would be
if we did not have poetry.

Premium Member As Poets

As poets we map out our lives
For the entire world to see
I do believe the reason why
It's our words that set us free

As I read other poets words
It's very clear to me
There are many hearts on earth
As beautiful as can be

So as we face another trial
And overcome another test
By the Blood of the Lamb
Lets give the world our best

A World To Belong

So many things have come to evolved
So many changes there is to become ones’ life
Is there a finding for an ultimate cause?
Would you have known the answers to survive?

And all around you, one never sees
To see all there is hidden behind for the other
Perhaps when upon for feelings never to be
Would you choice for a someone else to be… rather?

All we ever do… to only if only to do
Is to pretend our one self towards another to sooth
A world evolves within our limitations’ to be real
These days to be, when alone is no longer aloof

Did we change along with the world?
Or did we only change along to belong?
A feeling by another to always be hurled
Is there something to always be doing wrong?

Have I change? Perhaps once again…
Or perhaps only to grow older with time
To only be finding what the world proclaim
To the world then… am I not always behind
