The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Vintage Poet

For time clogs our minds,
  While you flourished into life.
You kept on through the hardships,
  And hurtled over strife.

Your inner will was great,
  An inner force of will.
You persevered your roll in life,
While the world was standin’ still.

You ran circles around the world,
  With your powerful thoughts.
You are a vintage poet,
  That the world forgot.

This is wonderful. The cadence, phrasing & form are perfect. The emotion and imagery are true and clear. I can see why you are published. I am but an amature but you (and many others here) encourage me to learn & delvelope my skill. I was at a very dark place in my depression when I wrote I Am. That is when I joined PS. It is helping me find direction and purpose. I never thought my poetry was good enough even though I have gotten personal satisfaction from it. You really made my day! Love Robin
