Best Odoriferous Poems

Free Verse On Love

Breathe my love, for I shall inhale
your ambrosial ambient air of amour…
and exhale your odoriferous obedient beauty;
For I’m lost in the winds of love,
as my heart melodiously murmurs…

Touch me, my love...for I await your rapture
a salacious sustain sautéed with sweet sweat…
our carnal collage cherishes the tender night;
Like illicit immortal idols infatuated and impassioned,
serendipitous seductions spreading through eternity…

Kiss me, my love...for I long your magnanimous moisture
your titillating tears deluged with a desire of devotion…
drinking nectars of erotic escapes and romantic rendezvous;
Caressing copulations amidst Anacreontic ambitions,
all this within your enamored enticing exhale.

Premium Member Angels On Your Shoulders

Stare all over, O World, you scarcely utter.
Bear stalwart angels to arise over the air tugger.
Odoriferous water may abscond the realm of prosily.
Such as the Goddess of Heaven perpetrates an odyssey,

Please, Lord, I pray you are aware of my plea heed.
The blunder I committed thwarts a significant need.
My wickedness is crucial to fade as it's such a bigwig.
I aspire that everyone will stay ready for the callow sprig.

My trudge to the palatial gateway has formally begun.
I'm embedded in the exacerbated curse greaten.
We embody no faith in eliciting heavenly mercy.
And will do it as soon as I can from a gallows tree.

My mighty task was a cipher accredited to splendor.
Plus, the angels yielded me their smoldering ember.
They allotted me munificently for their rare care, too.
Failed my mystical prowess to beckon them, they mellow.

Below kaleidoscopic bulwarks or in a raving creek,
In bosom nirvana, we withdrew the draughty bleak.
I earned a lasting bliss than one could dream.
And I willingly sieve to share my peaceful stream.

Premium Member Moonlit Reverie - Part One

Written: September 10, 2023
______________________________________________________________

Mounts daydreams in the azure bay.
An eerie sway casts halos in the night sky.
As a sparkling moonbeam sprayed moon.
It is the lyrical refrain of the world, hewn.

Drenched in the moonlight odoriferous embrace,
The moonlit reverie grabs its place.
Whispering chronicles of zeal and desire,
In the nebulous shadows, fealty will transpire.

The moon, a regent on its celestial throne,
Ascends the empyrean heights, shown
Its resplendent blaze dabbled in the night,
Splashed across the sky with splendor and might.

A symphony of ripples waltz upon the bay,
As moonshine shimmer casts a cynosure display,
Reflecting the existential ephemeral mysteries,
A nocturne of dreams, amorous for centuries

In this moonlit flash, a queen of midnight.
Splashes the globe with her translucent light.
Her canvas, speckled with paint, is a delight.
Wisdom for forlorn lovers on the starry night.

She queries the stars from her throne in the sky,
And bequeath stories on distant moon rays.
So placid to the grasp, yet sparkling in Gestalt,
And limns on the moon's sketch to impart art.

Eat the Excrement

Government policies that toilet stink
Presidentially approved
by a potty-mouth politrician rat-fink

Give the progressive town halls
more executive bathroom stalls
Read the foul language scrawls
on the Oval Office latrine
dollar-bill green painted walls
Flush the rank noise
with a few
smelly issue tissue tweet bawls

That dung aroma gon make your nose blink,
bowel vapors
will have your thoughts vomiting in the sink

Get the voting public
standing at nausea attention
Prep the ballot masses of breathy dissension
with sound bytes
of bitter chocolate bung mint,
duly veto sent
Tell ‘em it’s their sworn patriotic duty
to greedily eat the excrement

Taste the butt-hole flavor
of nasty worded inhalation torment
Truth got swallowed whole ... intestinal sold
Filthy lucre lips
do love the ruble con savor

Condition the brownie-nose party bound chumps
to double dip the cow chips
into the raw sewage salsa with the brown lumps

Be stricken by the loose tongue,
back-end diet
of diarrhea verbose crying
A cheeky butt buffet ...
odious motives with odoriferous intent
Buy the all-you-can-eat lying,
go feast on the swirling fear excrement

Premium Member My Thunderous Wondrous Electric Toy Train

It was shiny and bright sitting under the tree.
There were other things there, but that's all I could see:
a Lionel toy train on a circular track!
The caboose was maroon and the engine was black.

And to top it all off on this fine Christmas day,
was an engineer's cap that I donned right away.
I had deadlines to make and my job couldn't shirk,
so I rolled up my sleeves, and went straight to my work.

Utilizing impressive construction techniques,
I made Tinker Toy tunnels through newspaper peaks.
With an engine, a caboose, and three railroad cars,
I would ride to the moon and haul back the stars!

It sputtered and sparkled and went round and around
with a clickety clackety sonorous sound,
and an oily ozony odoriferous tang:
my thunderous wondrous electric toy train!

And then Daddy and I had to go out for bread,
and to pick up the big Sunday paper he read.
We're just about home when there was flashing of red...
and the crossbars dipped down at the railroad ahead.

As the freight train slowed up, I could clearly divine
the big engineer's head with a cap just like mine!
We dismounted and yelled, and I signed him three yanks.
He gave me three toots - and I waved back my thanks.

With my engineer's cap and my blue overalls,
I was dressed in a style to give anyone pause!
I had grand places to go and marvels to see...
but Mommy had my breakfast all ready for me.

It sputtered and sparkled and went round and around
with a clickety clackety sonorous sound,
and an oily ozony odoriferous tang:
my thunderous wondrous electric toy train!

April Rain

The long awaited needed rain
finally came in gentle drops.
Thirsty daffodils greedily
quaffed the tepid precipitate
while their odoriferous scents
reluctantly merged with ozone
creating a pungent bouquet
that stimulated the nostrils.
Far afield from the daffodils
robins comb the newly wet grass
for ever emerging earthworms
that are coaxed above by the rain.
Soon the tugs of war begin
between the two adversaries.

Olfaction

Flanked by Dame’s rockets and Yarrow
familiar flowers that greet me
every spring with their breezy nods.
Their irresistible, subtle
scents never cease to captivate
my olfactory perception.
I swoon amidst their fragrant breaths
and for one imaginative
moment become their distant kin
with an alien hue and scent
commingling with them nonetheless
until their odoriferous
scents again sober my senses
leaving a feeling of gladness.

To a Cheese

May the Dear Lord deliver us
Not from creatures carnivorous
But edibles less frivolous
Like cheeses odoriferous

Who gives a damn about Edam
First made in Dutch North Amsterdam
Or nutty-tasting Leerdam
And Czechoslovak Abertam

When some people find delicious
Or remain highly suspicious
Of a cheese that is nutritious
To say else might be pernicious

Called Kalimpong from West Bengal
As chewy as a rubber ball
Which doesn’t smell too bad at all
Or clog you with cholesterol

They're wrong. The foul effluvium
Causing our nasal odium
Creating pandemonium
As if it were plutonium

Is just a cheese no nose can bear
Once it’s been opened to the air
So, please, cheese eaters be aware
The culprit is your Camembert!

A Woodland Path

A woodland path in the dappled sun, hushed and quiet
sometimes straight
sometimes curvy
sometimes up
and sometimes down
but no matter which way it goes
colors displayed go from verdant shades to brown...

along the way mushrooms have sprouted their
white speckled tops over the red hood
and skunk cabbage
blooms
in an odoriferous kind of way
really
it is a most beautiful day -

this woodland path
holds many discoveries for the eye to see
if only one might take the time
to simply be
be one with natures abundance
as the time comes and goes
and as I walk along
there is a pond that from the shadows grows
so calm and so still
my woodland path
takes the edge of the cities chill.

Mistress Yangchenma

Thou art my mistress,my fantasy, and my craving
Thou art my imperial,my masterpiece,my wealth, and treasure
Thou art sunshine and silvery that doth enliven dismal heart
To the sparkling stars I shall compare thee
Your beauty with beauteous,luminous,and lustrous
Thou art serenity of many endowments:
Endowed with cooling effects of milky moon on a starry night
How ductile is thy movements
Lithe body lissomly limbers in exquisite
Like summer orchids manoeuvres on jolly sprigs.
Thou art nosegay endued with odoriferous incense to nostrils
As hard as diamonds oft
As chill as frosted hail
Yet thou remain delicate like dandelion thistles
And as sweet as that of thamatin
Sticked with faithfulness of lioness care
Thou art the sweet songs I dost composed in dreams
Where, in dual we shall sing in our melodious tone of the nightangle.
Thou art my reasons to morns wake
Thou art irresistible:
unique,proper ,and sublime
Mistress Yangchenma ,you are!
All my tears and scars
Hadth transformed into radiant blossoms
Giving me a reason to smile each days
Thou art imcomparable,My mistress Yangchenma!
Thou hadst joy and forever in your sparkling eyes.
Thou art entrancing divine soul
Yes! Thou art veritably.

Thank you.

Aloofness

When the gathered families smelled
The aroma of sausages,
Hotdogs and spent firecrackers
On prior Independence days
I was sniffing the subtle scents
Of odoriferous flowers
That grew beyond the festiveness.
When members heard,” come and get it!”
From the self designated chef
I heard only sounds of nature.
When the people sat and said grace
For the food that was on their plates
I stood among the wildflowers
too intoxicated to feast.

Splendor In the Grass

Come; lie with me in the grass
Of summer and feel the cool green
Blades give ground to our presence here.
Smell the white clover my dearest?
Its odoriferous fragrance
Pales by comparison with you.
Look! I see a four-leaf clover,
Though rare, it’s not as rare as you;
I picked you out amongst a crowd
And have been in love ever since.
That sun that kisses these flowers
Is not as warm as your kisses
And the warm rustling summer breeze
Lingers long about your tresses
Stilled by the jealous Aeolus
Who claims all things but you my dear.

Issues

Life issues are too numerous
Understanding them is too onerous
Discerning them is too enormous
Dealing with them is too perilous

Love issues are too serious
Without caution they are grievous
Communicating then is humongous
Especially if it’s all amorous

Family issues can be curious
They always make us furious
Sometimes a little bit delirious
In the end we remain unanimous

Funny issues are contagious
Sometimes a bit outrageous
Often times a bit preposterous
And on rare occasion dangerous

Ethical issues are often aurous
Achieving them so fabulous
Anyone who does is glorious
Trying too hard is disastrous

Party issues are so laborious
The results can be tremendous
It helps if the food is delicious
If it flops it could be horrendous

War issues are very vicious
The fighters truly courageous
Enter hoping to be victorious
Each side equally tenacious

Birth issues can be a little hideous
Though most say that it is wonderous
If the road to the ward was atrocious
The outcome is often miraculous

Death issues are always scandalous
If the deceased is indigenous
The ceremony could be stupendous
We hope the end is marvelous

Work issues are a bit ludicrous
It always helps to be courteous
Friction can prove odoriferous
Diplomacy makes it uberous.

Sterile Sermons

An old church stands with a spired steeple
Amidst the townspeople at Fox and Main
Where the hypocrites pray for sinful souls
And clergy holds sermons that entertain.
Within this sanctuary lined with pews
And opalescent glass and glittering gold
Odoriferous breaths of morning booze
Betray inebriants among the fold.
The Sunday sermon lectures temperance
Its message they heard many times before
The spoken words make no difference
Because people don’t heed them anymore.
The pimps and sots, sinners all congregate
Buying forgiveness while passing the plate.
