The day was unbelievably hot to a northerner, just about normal for a Floridian. Disney World opened at nine and after a steamy night cruising Kissimmee’s strip for burgers, we were ready for the crush (and I don’t mean orange soda.) The Ex, the kid and I, clad in shorts and tank-tops, were ready to enter the park with the rest of the scrubbed and buffed hoard.
shoulder to shoulder
the crowd surges forward—
babies scream
At seven, our son, Jamie was mad about Pooh (of course at this point, he was so stoked he was just plain mad as the Hatter in Alice!) We got through the gates in record time and rushed to the line for honey pot carts to Pooh-land. The line wasn’t long, most of the crowd was rushing Space Mountain, but my son was thrilled to be greeted at the entrance by non-other than Mickey Mouse! Mickey grabbed the wiggling tike by his red suspenders (Yes, I had him wearing suspenders!) and boosted him into the cart and off we went. Mom, Dad and boyo in search of the infamous Bear, Tigger the Tiger and Christopher Robin.

Visibly wore she my footprints
While bore I a Restarted Scholarship,
In 1993 flaunting The Dullest Glints
With streets that rather mirrored hardship …
Okigwe was The Sometimes Chilly
And irritably The Hilly
A thing of sure hatred by Asthmatic Roads Users
And of as sure by Escaping Criminal Losers …
I’ve heard ‘By An Embittered Dweller cursed’
And since A Metaphor for The Started and Paused:
Often a fitfully regular power supply
And a loss of University Town status, no reply!
Towards modernity, a laborious marching,
Never able Galloping Speed hatching;
For guaranteed steady strides searching
Scarcely for The Dependable catching …
Now, harboring A Community of Northerners,
A lot enthused about their fast-selling Suya
And a Not-Hostile Host Southerners
For them striking more bargains than fewer.
You say I'm not romantic enough
But with you I show all my love
Maybe I just don't express enough
Maybe I have to much northerner blood
But I love you I do
Till death cleaves us apart
Or the sound of our lover quite singing in our heart
Over the course of 25 plus years,
I have moved some 20 times in 4 states.
The course was neither aimless nor casual.
It wasn't heavily winding, but the route was crooked.
I have lived in a hotel and a boat for several months.
Each of our three kids were born in a different state.
One is a Northerner; one's a Southern; One's a Westerner.
I and my family were never homeless, nor were we vagabonds.
Like popular songs, 'we got around' by being 'on the road again'.
This papa was not a rolling stone, nor did he consider his home
to be everywhere he laid his head. Albeit, adaptable and flexible.
I must say that technically, I was homeless when I was forced
to live about a 100 miles from my family. I lived with an elderly
friend 4 nights a week for nearly 3 years. I lived on my friend's
50 foot boat for several months until a storm nearly took me away.
The morning after the storm was a portrayal for 'MEANDERING memories'.
On all fours, I zigzagged between down lines, MEANDERING my way to safety.
A picture of our various and multiple moves would be an interesting
portrait of MEANDERING up and down highways in the Midwest and south,
and a long trek across the USA from near the mighty Mississippi to the Pacific.
On more that one occasion, I have experienced 'The Crooked Street' in San Francisco. The trail of my MEANDERING life is not quite like the Crooked Street, but there are rather striking similarities. The MEANDERING would continue in the city by the bay until a job change forced us to move about a hundred miles Northeast to the river city of Sacramento where we have
changed our abode three times. Only time will tell if this MEANDERING continues rolling along.

Nuclear in Norway
Should the Russian army occupy Northerner Norway, they know the way
Last time they came and helped chase the Nazi army out and freed us was in 1945
Russia was popular after the war, Stalin was called Uncle Joe
This scared the USA it quickly sent the Marshal aid
there was a geo-political shift despite open borders
Relentless propaganda made Russians into monsters, but despite this, the borders were kept open
Norway is now embraced in the arms of the US/NATO yes it is the same thing they have 17 bases mostly up North
but has few troops to speak of, should the Russki come
there will be no help from Sweden, is not attacked
and declare neutrality as they did in the Nazi war
The North of Norway is within the Arctic Circle and thanks to the golf current, has ice-free harbors, the best of all the North- pole is only a stone's throw away from the pole
of political interest for bigger nations
What will the US do if they can't shift the occupiers of a rich little country, full of oil and minerals?
Will Norway become the first nation nuked since
