My Dream Cottage

The beautiful cottage stood, powerful and strong, Tall majestic trees enhanced the beautiful scenery. There were blue spruces exquisite with elegant brush like branches, Pines that reached out towards nature, branches sharp to touch. The ground was rugged with rich soil and slate, Gray and black squirrels scampered about. There were blue jays hidden in the branches of the spruce, Wildflowers grew everywhere, Queen Anne's lace and buttercups. An occaissional butterfly fluttered past, The cottage faced the tranquil and silent lake. You could see the ducks and geese swimming and making ripples in the lake, The residence had multiplex windows so you could view the beautiful scenery all around. The living-room was large and spacious with tall windows, A comfortable sofa to sit upon, chairs where you could sit back and read. The kitchen was traditional and old-fashioned, An old-fashioned stove where you could cook your meals and bake bread and pies. Exquisite furniture made of log and pine, where you could enjoy delicous meals, A beautiful haven and spacious room where you could sleep, At home with God's paradise, my dream cottage, A haven for all seasons.
