A new morning, bright, not in its light, but in its brilliant composure.
—quote by poet

God Orchestrates a Momentous Morning

As the sun provides a scintilla of light
at dawn, and the clouds squeeze out
slight sprinkling, atmosphere tweets
along with the daybirds and hoots
with the owl. S u d d e n downpour -
delightful the serendipitous chorus.

Premium Member A Momentous Gift

Five young goats are playing in the field. All of them are friends. Everyday they play together, eating the same type of grass in the field.

One day, a new lone young goat came to the field, grazing on the grasses where all five friends are usually nibbling. The new kid was spotted and all five goats approached the lone kid. The lone kid was bullied and left the field injured.

After a few days, the lone kid went to the same field and ate some grasses. It was seen again and driven away by the same herd.

The lone kid went to the other side of the field where there are more greener grasses. Bigger goats arrived on the spot and the kid evaded the flock.

One night, a fairy appeared before the lone kid. The fairy said, "I am the fairy godmother of all animals here in the field. I will grant you a gift of your choice!..."

The kid was astonished and said, "My breed does not grow as big as the others. Can you help me protect myself so I can defend myself?"

The fairy disappeared after hearing it. The kid waited many hours for the fairy to come back until it fell asleep.

Early morning, the lone kid noticed that his head is heavier than usual as if it's carrying something on its head.

The kid went to the field to eat some grasses. Bigger goats saw the lone kid and were in disbelief because they saw something strange about the kid. The flock gave way to the kid. The kid is surprised because the flock distanced from him and make way wherever he walks.

Days later, the lone kid went to the same field where the five goats used to play. The herd bullied him and consequently, all five goats were hurt. That same night, the fairy appeared to the lone kid saying, "I will not punish you for what you did today. I came back to remind you of your gift."

"I didn't mean to hurt anyone," said the lone kid.

The fairy said, "You will keep your gift to defend yourself whenever it is needed, but I need to bend them."

"Why?" the lone kid asked.

"I will bend your horns as a sign of humility. Everybody will see your horns as a reminder too."

The fairy vanished after a few seconds.

Momentous Nostalgia

Beyond a sweet zephyr
     whorled a scent,
something so familiar
   amidst that breeze,
'twas like warm apple pie
   sitting 'pon a windowsill
wafting delectable
   reminiscence of long ago,
children's laughter
   full of caramel & pepper,
petunias, summer rain
      and hot cayenne spice
all delightfully refreshing
in a blast of fragrant air's
momentously blissed nostalgia

A Momentous Reunion In the Shade Under a Grandfather Tree

been a long time
i wonder if i still have it
all the pens have been buried from my sight
however, i managed to find one this misty monday morning
i write this poem without thought or even a warning

i remember her in those tight fruity jeans
her hair was like simplicity starlight in an everlasting exploration
her aura was like lavender scented candles reigniting my introverted personality
her smile left me speechless like writing in cursive with my right hand
in the toybox corner of my mind is the snowstorm that brought us to notice

been an eternity going grey
i wonder if arousal still exists in our atmosphere
all the pads have been dangling in an attempt to make insanity appear calm and steady
however, i managed to come upon one this windy sunday morning
i finish this poem as i feel my reemergence ecstatically swarming

Premium Member Vibrant Momentous Delights

Facing daily tasks with vibrant exuberance
delighted at healthy status revealing wellness-blest
while exuding zest midst care giving endurance...
I thank the Lord for His gracious forbearance fullest!

At the sight of our vibrant special child's entrance
oozing with refreshing fragrance along sweetness purest
subduing, by his wheel chair, immobility's hindrance...
how I praise God for endowed perseverance to hurdle every test!

For vibrant freedom moments from pressuring encumbrance
along relaxation-clearance, devoid of angst pest
triumphantly blissful for reaching-out furtherance...
I worship Christ for everlasting life* toward heavenly rest!

*Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

She still and always will out source my travels,
remains in my retina - a tender photograph.
She-cloud, fuzzy and dark. I perceived her
on her godforsaken corner - was she on drugs?

Was she a nightwalker, runaway, bruised
and abused by stranger things? Did she call
out to God as I walked by; because I heard her.
I prayed for her diurnally yet I never met her.

She’s the lady of New England. She is void
of clam chowder and blueberry pie. There
is no laughter only dried tears in her eyes.
I have to believe my prayers matter. They

are just a splatter in the scheme of things.
Likewise the tears of a sister (in the Lord)
kidnapped, sold into marriage by soulless
demonic forces. Baby irises taunted, on display

as a child bride to the devil. Where is she now?
That was many years ago. God’s eye weaved
into a colorful pattern between children’s fingers,
so hopeful, filled with vigor, imagination and love;
and hate from those desperate to bruise.

It would be better
for him to have a millstone
hung around his neck and
to be thrown into the sea
than to cause one of these
little ones to stumble*

So I walk with joy and a heavy heart,
nothing I could do. But perhaps prayer
is bigger than Boston, Maine, Afghanistan,
my outstretched heart. Now and forever,

God embraces his little ones in the curve
of his pierced palms. With the movement
of our outstretched feet, our mouths
murmur something momentous.

Iridescent innocence,

Instigating imagination
that storms a sea of sabbatical;
