Premium Member When the Piano Bleeds Pain

It's 3 am,
her pillow soaked in regret.
Loss has left her spirit lonesome,
darkness a definition of insanity.

In the silence of the night,
vexatious voices vibrate inside
her somber state of mind.

Restless, she sits at her proverbial piano,
as a plethora of pain bleeds through
her fingers onto ebony and ivory keys.
Rain drops drip from her eyes,
unable to contain the sorrows in her heart.

In perfect harmony with her faithful piano,
her heartache performs the perfect poetic personification,
echoing a serenade of melancholic melodies.

Her whole body is numb, but the
music mesmerises her mind, as memories
of her prophetic protagonist persist.

Her souls sighs, as she sings;

"If only you could see the pain,
maybe then you would explain,
what do you think you will gain,
from my mind going insane?

It seems like you don't care,
tell me how is that fair?

You'll say it's you and not me,
because you're too blind to see,
only your love can set me free,
but you say it's not meant to be.

It seems like you don't care,
tell me how is that fair?

Oh my love, is this goodbye?
Your silence makes my heart cry.
Within the deepness of each sigh,
I will always question why."

Premium Member Paddling on an Old Canoe

Paddling on a swirling river.
Her husband takes the right.
His wife uses her powerful left hand.
Oh, what a truly serene feeling.
Gently gliding over the rippling water,
As the moon mesmerises the sweet scene,
Stars twinkle in the vast, darkening sunset sky.

They paddle in a sing-song, singing off-key.
One, two, kiss me sweet, kiss me soft.
Moonlight dances on the rippling river.
Their hearts entwined in an elated effect.

The peaceful sounds of flowing water
Mingle with the thrushes. chirping wildlife.
But as water seems to seep into the old canoe,
They paddle to the shore and safety.
And on the dew grass, they hug and kiss,
Their old canoe is truly drowned in the abyss.

Premium Member Magenta Skyline Cluster

First blush fountain azimuth of hued rays
wet patio shrub basket in the haze
zealous heartland tower cry as life force
celebrate and savour August rare days

Magenta skylines cluster silken clouds
blue ocean colour eyes that worship shrouds
a fancy surreal canvass so divine
it mesmerises jubilant bright crowds

Summer fun arcades stoke our dream world mind
gasps of red tint bliss a peak season find
earthbound poise dilates refulgent cascade
rocking beach tune fare blurs dark strain purblind

Sapphire plinths that anchor stoic ambit
vision on parade my high rise gambit
traipse amid the dahlia euphoric
seventh heaven rapture’s cloud nine orbit

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

Music

The world has its own wonders,
The stars up there twinkle,
The sun shines bright,
The moon in the night sky glows,
Like the bloom in the flowers in a row.
All is beautiful, everything fits best,
But the sound of you pierces through my chest.

I wonder how it remains unnoticed,
The music of the little things,
The beauty of its existence,
How pretty it sounds,
Your voices' delicacy.
Like a thin string it seems,
But emboldened enough to fulfill all its dreams.

Not much to say but lot to hear,
The soft music you utter,
It brightens the day mesmerises the heart,
The waves collide and create a new spark.
I am here all alone,
Waiting for that music to come home,
To fill me with joy and dance with me,
The music in your voice is nothing short of melody.

Catching Someone

Catching someone..

How do you catch someone's eye?
When you walk beside them.
Where the sound of their voice,
Mesmerises you - but the content floats past.

Could it be when they turn their head slightly?
Or do they move their vision away too quickly,
As you move in a shadow alongside -
Made up of granted history and assumptions.

What do you want them to see that they don't see already?
Are we changed in some way and require that confirmation, a sign of acceptance.
Or do we want to inflame a passionate response or conflict in their world.

How do you catch someone's eye?
When all you want is to be seen and recognised, for who we are now.
And in the catching, is there a sense of keeping, or is there an element of casting off older confines.
The catalyst for rising anew, through the fracture of a belief, long lost.

Will they see it in the glass and coloured reflections of our eyes?
Do the depths of us reveal themselves in the faint smile we return.
Oh how is the day seized and captured in that grain of time.

How do you catch someone's eye?
To say so much with a look,
To change worlds with a glance.
And be loved for the vulnerable entities that we are, as we wait for subtle yet powerful recognition.
To meet them and feel it resound in their touch and find acceptance in unfettered richness.

How do you catch someone's eye ....?

Premium Member A Sonnet In the Wind

A musical wind blows at my door,
Low frequency soft soothing tone,
Euphony that mesmerises down the floor,
A musical wind blows at my door.

I am at peace with my soul,
Alpine harmonious delightful tone,
Enchantment that lives down the floor,
A musical wind blows at my door.

The wind blows swift and jazzy I go,
Recapture the dreams that constantly flow,
Ephemeral delight that exacerbates,
The wind blows swift and jazzy I go.

All the detriments ameliorate,
The wind blows swift and jazzy I go !!

Night

Night.

Nay-it not now, when the darkness still crawls nearer
Night you shall always be the welcomed Angel, to implore
To nay-it, a message the sun has left, with fires
Oh shades of the day, magma and ice
Always at heels of each, enemies and friends
Which one, which one comforts me?
Nights of nay-its succesful reigns..
When upon my creaky atsatsa*, I counts the fruits
deka...
...eve,
.. etor...
Sun oh sun, fire out of the Brahma's hearth, you reign in history
my journey has started
A soul searching
Reflections
Mesmerises
To clean the brass and shine its surface
For the lights boasts of shines to soar
As I clean my self of debris of old, of old ages
Ah, night, nay-it, all that blackens me with blots.
Now
.....till
when.......

Awesome April

Hot winds blowing everywhere
Golden glistening dress all wear
Jade, peridot, emrald leaves in trees
Sway sanguinely in summer breeze

Stunning sunrise and sunset
Seductive colours of sun's pallette
Cloudless, clear, charming sky
Magnificent moon, mesmerises eye

Myriad melodic chirps reverberate
Flamboyant flowers for bees await
Morn, eve gratifying cool breeze strokes
Walking, chatting, playing, happy are folks

Enjoying juicy fruits like watermelon
And juices of citrus fruits like lemon
Hot april brings sundae and ice-cream
Relishing together, whole family gleams

With long days, april is indeed a vibrant season
For exhilaration, provides more than one reason

Your beauty so pure, calm like snow,
Mesmerises me, now I know.
Your divine smile, brightens my day,
Now worries from past, will not stay.
Your heart is filled with love and care,
How blessed am I, to have you near.
You are the one I met in dreams,
    Beyond beautiful, my life seems.

When joyous jasmine spread sacred aroma,
it's scent mesmerises reaching my nose.
            I reminisce my affectionate Grandma.
As best friend I chose her as she was so close.
From her garden charms of fragrant blossoms rose.

Premium Member What Life Means To Me

What life means to me

A pearl of dewdrop
that shines with each sunrise,
A string of hope
that can sustain any height,
Much joys, little sorrow
sweet, bitter or sour,
This I learnt in school
where I was taken a fool.

I would say its a merry go round
a whirlpool sure to drown,
Lots of ideas put to reality
vibrant colours its vitality,
Love, the immortal soul
with it you can live whole,
Crazy thoughts put to pen
critiques know better then.

A fragrant breeze that mesmerises,
An unexpected gift that surprises,
Inhaled breath we can hold,
cherished memories manifold,
All those griefs we behold,
Each embrace and scold.

It's just that subtle emotion
a strong faith and notion
A frail body anytime can shatter,
Imprints kindness leaves on platter,
Life is this every present moment
to be lived to its full !

Oasis

I see...
Smear of oils
With weird forms,
Roar’s of the occults.
Subhuman mesmerises, beauty nudes
Woven entwined, as potions of love.

I see ...

The canvas, come alive,
At a master’s touch, to reality.
Casting spells with the unknown
Witch craft? Nay,
A blend of passion and dread.

I see ...

Energies of erotica,
Taking shape
She thirsts, She throbs,
And on leathery wings
She rides.

I see ...

Shrouds of mystery
Clawing at my heart,
And I thirst
But then my oasis,
Is within.

Golden Shower Flowers

When thousand suns come together
Dance joyously in sunny weather
A golden shower of blooms
Drives away my glooms
Falling on me as I stand underneath
Abundant bliss they bequeath

Roadside beauty, gardens pride
Few leaves, an all yellow bride
Their captivating beauty mesmerises all
Enthralling as they joyously fall
