Best Luminous Poems
You who ride the storm, the lion of heaven in hell
The thunder shook the earth, with stone axes
Mountain and soil being folded
A settlement from the earth's interior
//Rolling thunder, the innumerable trumpets //
The lightning bent mutely and refined
The lion is able to create stone,
sun and water to their servants
Always ready to throw himself over his victim
A sense of impending violence, as a climax
Did the ravens fly in the wrong direction ?
No one could explain the frightening
phenomenon as lightning and thunder
//Rolling thunder, wild horses running//

Tumbling,
over the timeworn stones
I'll fly in a kingdom of the winds
Far from here,
I am bathed by the moon,
washed at midnight by radiant light
I will soar,
in the clarion dawn,
free-falling over the edge of earth
While cool mist,
washed in splintered sunlight,
lets me be a shadow of myself

Luminous
lights appear
in my long dreams,
as my soul, so it seems, holds high
a periscope
for my heart and mind to see
every surrounding scene
beyond the heavy, seamed quilt of history
laid over my long sleep,
my long night — as deeply
black as the pupils of my eyes
mirroring a moonless, starless mid-night;
yet my soul floats
within this ever-amassing eternity —
wherein gleams an airglow for some sight
of the softly glistening atmosphere’s heights…
arising
heavenward
and shimmering
~ while here within me
longings emanate
(for a communion with God
and a complete life)
appearing luminous and divinely embossed
— comprising my long, impassioned prayers
— all into making
the long necklace
of gold-linked
wishes and psalmed gratitdes
I kneel to sing
on these long nights
before my long sleeping…

Glorifies her stars

LUMINOUS TIME
(Radium)
to light up one’s face
emitting the time of night…
lives taken in lieu.

Wondrous Luminous Moon
Oh wondrous luminous moon
how many lovers for countless centuries
have been captured by thy timeless beauty
under which
they dreamed and swooned.
Blissful kisses as numerous
as the stars that glisten
in the velvet sky
that sanctifies
the sweetness
of blossoming romance
Two kindred hearts
in each others hands.
Sometimes
I look at that awesome magical moon
and wonder if there's someone out there
waiting for me
to dream with and swoon
and feel that warm tender glow
that those of the same heart and mind
wrapped up in a cosy blanket
of true love
could know.

Pope John Paul II instituted a new set of mysteries
To the Rosary called the Luminous Mysteries.
It is suggested by the Church
Say these mysteries on Thursdays.

Fragments and crumbs of life, all the little pieces
That dwells within me
Wanting to be whole
These fragments of memories
That have lasted a lifetime
And borne the rich suffering
Luminous and yet dim and hidden
Forgotten and yet a sweet smelling rose
Adorned in my hair so dark
Shining like myriad starred heaven
When the moonlight turns dim
Devouring my soul and yet ready to drench
My parched torn heart

Delicate pieces of me,
Float free and endlessly
As I geographically cross the
Sea
To where, my heart wants to be
Although, a fragment still in my
Mind
The feeling is simply, sublime.
Soaring through, a clouded maze.
Forging distant night, to day's
Treading, tranquil waves
Fusion in tuquoise & amber
Shades.
Dreaming till the day,
Fingerprints engrave the way
Finding that one destiny
That is shared, and meant to be.

Amazing to be glorious mayfly
Skimming over wetlands and ponds
People look at my wings and sigh
Iridescent colours I wield like a wand.
'tis sad my life is really fleeting
I do so love these sunny hours
Short, my life, but very pleasing
End is nigh in summer shower.

Rhyme
I have known the sky.
I have soared in its luminous blue,
the rapturous chorus of wind in my ears.
Ahead, the shining promise of forever
has pulled me up and up
to where everything is mine
to hold, to love, to share.
I have known the earth.
I have been pulled by its sucking mud,
down and down
to where light is choked out
and the smell of rotting decay
fills my flaring nostrils,
struggling to breathe.
If I could stay somewhere between
earth and sky—
if I could walk on green grass,
in the cool of shady trees,
and smell the sweetness of flowering vines—
but no—
I have known bliss.
I can never erase from my mind
that endless, confident, astonishing blue
of the sky.

His skin is gold
And mine is silver-
Our bodies twist
Together like
Two ribbons of
Metal glinting
In the moonlight...
Luminous.
