Wondrous Luminous Moon

Wondrous Luminous Moon

Oh wondrous luminous moon
how many lovers for countless centuries
have been captured by thy timeless beauty
under which
they dreamed and swooned.

Blissful kisses as numerous
as the stars that glisten
in the velvet sky
that sanctifies
the sweetness
of blossoming romance
Two kindred hearts
in each others hands.

Sometimes
I look at that awesome magical moon
and wonder if there's someone out there
waiting for me
to dream with and swoon
and feel that warm tender glow
that those of the same heart and mind
wrapped up in a cosy blanket
of true love
could know.

Just Beautiful! You pulled the reader into this piece taking them on a journey of love. As for you the day will come when you will find your true love. When you do tell your soup friend all about it:) Alexis
