Best Loss Of Hope Poems
When All Hope And Relief Seems Gone
( Loss of Hope) (Part One)
Today my sad spirit rides long dark rails
as massive storms lash and churn great blue seas
Lost in deepest of blues, Hope's sweet hand fails
as I crash on broken and jagged trees.
Far beneath a once great and mighty perch
as Achille's fate approaches my life
I recall divine words from father's church
"seek thee, love in our dear Lord, during strife"!
I crawl in forests dark, wickedly deep
smell of evil, death and destruction burns
I cry for safety and warm place to sleep
relief from broken heart's many returns.
Where hides Light's most beautiful saving rays
Dusk comes, no help for man that falls and prays!

Part One of- Hope and its greatest treasures,,,,,
This poem is written in the Sestina form.
Raw Emotion
Under the cloak of anger,
In a world full of despair,
Surrounded by misery and pain,
Engulfed in darkness,
Loss of hope,
No control.
To keep oneself under control,
Fight through the darkness, confront your anger,
Don’t give in to despair, search for hope,
The search can be painful and full of despair,
Lead me out of this angry darkness,
Help me control the pain.
I can’t deal with this pain,
I am lost in the darkness, out of control,
Totally lost, totally dark,
Searching, hoping, use that anger!,
Break through the darkness, conquer despair,
It is within your control, give in to hope.
Despair is neutralized within the realm of hope,
You cannot control the pain,
Anger is the offspring of despair,
Which cannot be defeated, only controlled,
This desperate child named anger,
Sits silently cold, in the darkness.
God, relieve me of this anger, take this darkness,
End this pain, restore my hope,
Give me the control to master this anger,
So I can leave the darkness and end the pain,
I am asking for less anger and more control,
Grant my prayer, O’ Lord, end my despair.
Totally lost and completely desperate,
Angry and confused within the dark,
Hopelessly lost, losing control,
Searching for answers, needing hope,
To lift this darkness and end the pain,
I don’t want to be controlled by this anger.
Never get so desperate as to lose control,
Even if it’s painful and dark,
Rely on hope to deal with that anger.

Cancer it breaks cancer it takes
It erodes and corrodes body and soul
Lingers and takes hold cant be stopped or controlled
Terminal is with an apparent ending
Loss of hope and no point in pretending
Life span is against natures clock
Head now on the proverbial block
Spreads with ease the cardinal disease
Painful fulfilment never set to ease
Deterioration quickens as the body weakens
The illness striving towards winning Beacons
Inhabiting this life just day to day living
Illness taking everything with it unforgiving
Maintain dignity the only plea of life left
Cancers taken everything will be till death
Being the shadow of ones former self
A serious turn for the worst inevitable ill health
Oh its just sods law to over through a bad habit
Of smoking only to contract lung cancer damn it
Undetected unnoticed overseen by mere testing
Cancer accumulating cells rapidly and festering
Agonising pain fills ones veins no relief no escape
The moment of death ones lonely never-ending wait
In the last moments the death rattle echo's consumes last breath
The only hope remaining is there's life after death.
Sadness fills me
Heartache shrouds me
Anguish consumes me
Need overwhelms me
Endless tears unseen
DESPAIR (the utter loss of hope)
Our lives are like crossword puzzles. Similar,
and yet no two are alike. The beginning
needs time, a few steps forward until,
you fall into your first folly, tracing
your steps backwards to the starting point again.
Start again? I think not, written with ink,
the past, the present, the future, are linked,
and cannot be undone. Like the fusias
we planted too early this year. Exposed
to frost, the choice we made was flawed,
and quickly came undone, despite some days
in the sun. And yet we still are holding hope.
Holding hope? Yes it does support our steps
through the crossword puzzled maze of choices
we make. But hope is fragile and depends
on the elusive winds that blow through our lives.
The loss of hope is gradual, but certain.
The puzzle of life always wins in the end.
Shadows
I walked into a dark shadow of foreboding with fear surrounding me.
I saw people depressed, despondent and stuck because fear absorbed them.
The loss of hope is everywhere in this shadow, cries, sobbing and despair, I feel and hear them.
It starts to squeeze my joyful life, and I realized it.
Then my white Aura starts to glow brilliantly, they turn to me of those who are alive and wonder.
What is this fantastic intrusion of warm and hope?
Who is this person that I must see?
I walk on beckoning for them to come with me.
Those that are not paralyzed with fear start to follow me to the brilliant light at the end of this shadow.
Then the dark workers of the Dominion start to attack the followers to turn back, or harm will come to them.
Some do, but then my warm smile encourages the rest to press on.
The intensity of the Dominion attacks increases, and they fail.
They are seeing that the rest is following me were not affected, and the followers start shedding their fear.
Their satanic symbols and spells have no effect since now my white Aura protects them.
Now the paralyzed ones saw what’s happening to the followers and the paralyzes dissipate.
The new followers are now shedding their fears.
We are now entering this brilliant white light of peace, joy and Love. The followers form a circle with me, and we start the ascension connection with each other, and it’s beautiful.
We all hear and feel who is with us and knowing that the Dominion of shadows cannot prevail.
Suddenly the ascension connection increases the brilliant white light.
It became so bright that all shadows are destroyed along with the dominion workers.
It is now can be said that THIS IS THE GREAT AWAKENING!
Who am I?
There is a desolate road every mortal knows.
It winds across barren, weed-strewn ground.
Its route is filled with faith-jarring holes,
And its destination is where despair is found.
Depression and loss of hope are signs
The desolate road knows our losing streaks.
Each of us makes the trip multiple times.
We may languish there for days or weeks.
There is no shame in traveling that road.
It’s an essential part of the mortal scene.
It imparts experience as new trials unfold,
Helping us to know on God we must lean.
There is always joy in pain
Lessons learnt and everything won’t be the same
But you drive me insane
Each time we try you’re always first to shift the blame
Jealousy strikes like it did with Cain
And I always have to sacrifice myself like they do for fame
You’ve lost your ability to appreciate me
I feel like I’m alone
I miss the way things used to be
Your heart is cold as stone
Your arms used to be my heaven, my home
Now it’s a ghost house, a place
where my existence is now unknown
Each night I cry and think of you
The love we had was true
But now you’ve become the pain I feel
We’ve lost the joy that we once knew
Maybe our hearts grew too fast
until they blew
And left no trace of our once new
love, not even a clue
I wish we could re-write what was
But I guess it’s not meant to be
Although we now walk separate ways
I’ll always treasure our memory
A memory that never fades away
A memory that makes me cry everyday
A memory that makes me smile everyday
A time when attention is all I could pay
I will never forget
I will never regret
You were part of my essence but now I’m destroyed
I’m trapped within the sorrows that your cold heart employed
Who am I to continuously
withstand the pain in this world
Who am I to fight against nature
I have learnt to breathe this pain
And let my body, heart and soul
adjust
I know that I will never be the same
But trying to move forward is a must
In my God I shall place my trust
May my sorrows be taken
The past turned to dust
My life once again mine to own…
I pray it happens soon
Before I turn into a monster
Heartless
Feeding off the pain of others
So they feel what I felt
So they feel the hand that to me was dealt
So they feel the loss of hope you made me feel
So fooled was I to think love could be real
I thought you were everything
For you I would kneel
But you only left me broken
Now I’m trying hard to heal
I never thought it’d be hard to feel
I never thought asking you to pay
attention was an expensive bill
It hurts to change, my eyes hurt
when this heartbreak became my
dawn
But the sun opened my eyes
And the only person I choose to give my all now
Is the one in the mirror.
Overwhelming feelings
Suffocating thoughts
Everything I am....
Everything I'm not....
Heart beats fast..
Anticipation flows.
Where this road leads, only God knows.
Part of me is broken, feeling torn and lost.
But the Lord has spoken, filling all my thoughts.
I hear a feeble whisper through my crippled dreams.
Hope begins to warm my face, though I'm tearing at the seams...
The seams that hold in salty tears and hurtful thoughts throughout the years,
The seams that hold in self-rejection, loss of hope and introspection.
Flow from me my hateful thoughts, rest at Jesus' feet.
May He cleanse this buried pain, this hurt, and self-defeat.
"Despair is generally defined as a loss of hope. In existentialism, it is more specifically a loss of hope in reaction to a breakdown in one or more of the defining qualities of one's self or identity." Søren Kierkegaard

a girl lost
A girl lost in space and time
is often fond of love and rhyme
there is some fear some faith
she just don't want to be late
by the unknown that sustains
in the depth of her mind and inside
unravelling of tide that is quite high
comprised of thoughts and unexpressed
which is like a story holding a lot
turning her mind and emotions into a dot
where the time is static
motion of world is pathetic
she than finds solace in her loneliness
and a kind face is just like holiness
to her it is like expression from a stranger
that often ignites the spark of being alive
but the feeling takes a dive
screwed by the realism of meanness
often accompanied by growing loss of hope
a touch of emotions soon act like dope
good enough to sustain and cope.
I wake to an empty void, encapsulated in this prison of sorrow and grief.
I am trapped in a life of reoccurring loss of hope of any kind of escape.
I lie on the dirty rotten floor, remembering your deceptive motif.
The thought over shadows me, like a sorrow filled drape.
I am tortured by your beauty, equal to none.
Your emerald green eyes used as bait, deceiving only to capture all that I am.
They look right through me, like a burning red bullet fired from a gun.
They glisten so invitingly, luring and stealing my heart in the process, forever damned.
Your hair so softly woven by the hand of God;
While I run my hand through your locks, its venomous feel addicts my hands making it yearn for its feel.
Your lips so intoxicating, like a sweet honey, a delicious delight to suffice my pallet leaving me awed.
I have not realized you have wounded me in my venerable depths of my soul but in time it shall be revealed.
They remind me of the thin line between infatuation and despising.
Remembering your witty, sharp tongue that found excuses for every actuation,
Living in ignorance isn’t the best way to live, it brings situation rather surprising.
A fake bliss is like a fake kiss, it’s beautiful in moment but in the end, it nothing except deception.
I want to feel something.
I wanted to be moved by anything,
I need a reason to change, I'm stuck
in my past you won't let me move
forward, There's no more fire behind
this hazel eyes. There's only a sad story
to tell, I've known both spectrums of life
the highest of highs but live in the lowest
of lows, I've became a dark evil version
of my superhero, retired by my loss of hope
my heart still remains black and cold
Loneliness Won’t Ever Leave Us Alone
Loneliness strikes at the very heart of what compels us
as human beings as we seek love and hope in this life.
The magic majesty of life is, at once, all-encompassing,
yet overwhelming, at times, in the world of humankind.
Loneliness may signal a loss of love and a loss of hope
that all is not what it should or it could be in one’s life.
Over time, the spirit of loneliness that may haunt each of
us in our lifetime can devolve into anger and disillusion.
Loneliness, at times, cries out loudly in the depths of our
human soul, and coping with it may be too much to endure.
Where there is love and joy, there can still be a degree of
loneliness that bespeaks a sadness and despair deep inside.
In the true essence of one’s life, this utter spirit of loneliness
is the ugly companion that all of us confront as human beings.
Loneliness lurks in the shadows of our minds and lies ever ready
to strike in moments of anger, despair, sadness, and forlorn hope.
A feeling of deep sadness and despair may never say why all the
tenderness and love that our souls possess will survive as we cry.
A river of tears will help us as we search for that special love in
this life whilst we know that loneliness won’t ever leave us alone.
