Slowly pacing a captive rail,
her gaze pierces beyond red stars
eyes with burnt ire, a tigress howls
bellowing through jungles afar;

As pride of theme parks, she deplores
the ropes leashing an alluring gait,
others like her, in silence weeps
on circus grounds, in king's estate...

Sleek beauty wrapped in orange-black
her...

Times' Leaps and Bounds
AS TIME MARCHES ON

every older person without a doubt
has a spark of youth that screams to get out.

too old to dance all night without a care
or risk doing damage you can never repair.

too young to feel I’ve grown any more wise
too old...

Hold On Tightly, When Life Takes Its Great Leaps And Bounds

Hold on tightly, when life takes its great leaps and bounds
this old blue marble is not all sweet virgin ground
strewn about are horrendously nasty pitfalls
awaiting the fruits of world's constant tempting calls
to dive right on...

Knees just don't let grampa bend
    feet won't let him run
Back that will not straighten up
    some might say he's done

But wait a minute, not so fast
    a wedding's round the...

On moonlit bay do herons row
With swerving curves their plumes unfurl
As white-bleached robes dip into twirls.

Forms pose around the ridge, aglow
Allowing limbs to flaunt contours
While breezes watch near migrant lure.

Down shoreline wide, beaks sting a blow
To feast on prey before long flight
And rest through foams...

My Faith She Leaps
Forest lake
Reflects
A hand full of stars
Wispy clouds
Float & glide
In sweet solitude.
 ripe fruits drop
From the black tree.
December skies,
Covers green carpets.
Different shades of green.
Butterflies flit & fly,
Hope wanes.
Twisted leaves float
On glaring winds
Breaking the silence
And rhyming with the chirps
Amidst soft footsteps
On the rustling leaves.
Fading...

Leaps
Ready, get set now!
Positioning for today,
Leap with a light heart.

Flying to the sky,
The open heart singing tunes,
smiles with confidence

You can be more free
To be everthing you are,
Strong and soft and warm.

Capture this moment,
This voyage with your love,
Swaying to and fro.

Meeting the wonder
Of life's obstacles...

Destiny Breaks Though Leaps of Faith
You came to be the rain
I was always yearning for
scratching at my surface
until I bleed no more

I remember sailing once
on a cloud around your essence
how peacefulness crept over me
every-time you blessed my presence

as the rain slows down
so did my hope
of ever taking part
on a journey...

parachute daring
gliding blue skies like a bird
colorful sunset

a lily pad leap
from the house of vivid blooms
frogs and grasshoppers

ballet dancer twirls
ballerina grand jete
multicolored lights

dolphins jumping high
chasing the maroon dawn sun
green waves crest and fall...

Leaps and Bounds
REDEMPTION FOR SOMETHING
THAT MEANS SOMETHING
ONLY TO THOSE WHO ARE INVOLVED
BOWING BEFORE MEN WHO
WISH YOU TO SEE THEM AS SUPERIOR
WHETHER YOU ARE BETTER OF BEST
BEYOND THE FEATS OF STRENGTHS
BEYOND THE RECOGNITION OF
A PAST THAT MADE YOU GREAT
THEY THOUGHT HIM BEATABLE
THEY REFUSED TO RECOGNIZE
HIS LUSTER
THEY SPOKE OF...

hillside shiny sun
as a little squirrel skips on
bounding leaps on trees

Where Leaps Hot Desires In Adoring Breast

Here atop this majestic mountain crest,
Amidst flying winds that soothe aching soul,
Looking at earth, at Nature's very best,
Where resides a force man can not control;
Man, mortal man his heart too often weeps,
For selfish pleasures, treasures not his due,
Clear views...

Live love lavish with wisdom well,
Apt art arrives to set the stage;
Voice can vanish no more to tell,
Ink stains derive self-conscious age;
Sweet secrets sum what beauty frames,
Health holds happy with fancy free.
Light now becomes a solemn game,
Odd lineage sees poise dance cheery;
Vet touchy feel in...

Premium Member When a Hero Stumbles
Out of the ether once came a small child
who hoped to one day fly thru the air.
Diligently applying herself, learning a style,
performing higher leaps, tapping the rare.

She performed somersaults, all in her stride,
with greater and more intelligent ease.
Winning honors and gold medals worldwide,
winning hearts with...
