Best Killings Poems

Lines Written In Sorrow For Nigeria

I could hear in my head their thousand shrill cries
While their homes burn, their throats slit,
Unpleasant thoughts of the bloods of the innocent
Bring sadness and tears to my eyes!

What has happened to the human soul
That run through men of this beloved country;
It grieves my heart so much to think
Of these man's inhumanity to man!

From Northeast through North Central,
That once peaceful green Plateau
With it's beautiful weather and happy people
Each enjoying the air they breathe.

Their pain I cannot equate or measure
Nor can I fathom the devil that made
The marauder bands kill for pleasure;
To think that these disasters are man made!

If this deaths and shedding of innocent blood
Are nature's punishment as some believe,
For fostering 'One Nigeria' home and abroad,
Then we have plenty reasons to grieve!

Best it is then
To let each man to his tent,
Let them spread out their wings
Fly if they must, and feel the breezy air;
A house divided against itself never grows!

Weeping Gun

My palms are growing wet
Sweat has covered my trigger
Night and day in enemies nest
Operating like battalions of mere singers.

I fight 21st century with 20th century bullets
Blood on my face, wounds yielding deeper
In shattered body my brethren in uniform rest
Unjust funding makes our defence wall weaker.

Father, I am in a wilderness fighting a shapeless war
No back ups, no one is watching out for our fall
Like we are dying for those who don't care about us
Our enemies are in golden armor while we ride on horse.

Mother, did the demise of my gun brothers makes the headlines?
I heard the 'next level' was lunched on that day
And my superiors disown us to dine at the front line
Well, don't cry yet, I'm still alive at least for today.

Oh, my palms are wet and my hopes like a thread
My eyes shed more tears than the blood my gun sheds
We are too weak to keep pulling these triggers
Aso Rock, upgrade us now or take us home to our fathers.

Death

What trigger people to kill?
why do people hate?
why is the world full of wickedness?
question
Rhetorical questions
No more love
No more brothers keeper but brother killer

Fight everywhere
bombing and death
blood everywhere
homeless ,helpless
yet full of expectations
heavy drop of tears
flowing heavily

The wounded cry in agony
waiting to be heard
top make promises
fake not real
when will it be real?
fear of death grip thy heart

destruction,disaster
is what we get
No day that passes without fear
why do fulani herdsmen kill?
why the bombing?
safe thy self
how?

The Ballad of George Floyd

Oh Lord, they laid George Floyd down
They put a knee to his neck
and pinned him to the ground
for nine minutes they held him on the deck.

Bystanders saw and got involved
They said, what the fk, what the heck
He's not resisting, it's been resolved
Get that knee off his neck.

He is not moving
What are you cops doing
He said "I Can't breathe"
"Mama, I can't breathe"

Then his body lay still
And a cold wind blew in a chill.
His blood was shed
and then he was dead.

But his words ring in our heads
For all those before who lay dead.

"I can't breathe"
"Mama, I can't breathe"
"I can't breathe"
"Mama, I can't breathe"

They came to get him from the ground
rolled him over like a rag doll
The world saw what had transpired
It was a murder most foul.

A Nation in distress,
Our Land is in distress
Father deliver the Nation
Father deliver our Land
Cleanse the Nation

We look to You
We run to You
Deliver us from all that is awful
You alone is Powerful

Angel of Death On Dooms Day

O' beings of flesh and blood,
Behold thy breaths!
For I am sent to put an end
To your infinite cruelties and untamed lusts!

What have you done to Earth!
What have you done to Hearts!
You crushed the buds
You murdered the hopes
And never for once you fear the One

Your hearts have turned stones,
They didn't melt on undertones...
Neither at the cry, "I am gonna tell God everything"
Nor at the holler____ "Lift me to heaven O' Lord,
For I won't starve there anymore"

I am sent to bring onto you
what you deserve the most
Nothing less___ but the wrath of God
Soon___ the Oceans will evaporate,
Mountains will loose weight,
Winds will be wrapped and put in a safe,
A Fire will be blown!
And Moon will cry no more
For the sufferings of innocents will end!

Now, you will suffer...
For making others suffer...
Either you were SAVAGE ____
Or you just kept SILENT_____!!

(10th Feb, 2020) Paghunda Zahid

{Being an extremely sensitive person, I feel the pain of everybody. These people suffering in the war affected areas and in occupation, have my heart. The displaced, the refugees living without any shelter, sleeping empty stomach.. God!
I'm sure you all poets are feeling the seme way)}

Gun Culture

Since the known civilisation, rules have changed
for positive progress and prosperity of people and
community and country across the entire universe.
Rules do not drive backward but always move forward
for the coming decades and centuries and millennia
education, health, development and progress
move for the righteous path of peace and prosperity.
But suddenly talks of mediaeval mentality reappears
out of context, out of time, out of issue in the whim
the culture of killing like hunting age of the past
like the medieval maniac massacre
must be gone, must be stopped and must be banned
from the face of human race.
But the culture of carrying gun
like in the hunting age
before the civilisation began
before mankind learned basic needs
still continues in the civilised nation.
Is this the civilisation or the mockery
of democracy and liberty and human rights?
Of hundreds of thousands and millions
of innocent civilians:
children, students, men and women
of all ages and races and gender and geography
have become victims of guns.
Gun kills because its purpose is to kill
nothing right it does
gun is made to kill those who violate rules
who disagree with the established
norms and rules and regulations and values.
But your guns are killing
innocent people, innocent children
studying in schools and colleges and universities
working in the offices and industries
But why? But why?
You do not need:
big talks, big debate and big discussion
to control guns
just stop selling guns, just ban guns
like everywhere in the world.
Even the dangerous dictators
do not and did not allow guns.
Even Hitler, Mao, Kim, Lenin or Stalin
did not allow guns.
Guns are not human
guns do not make you great again
Stop guns. Ban on guns.

Life In My Land

Life in my Land
Life in my land is not by right
With greed, we are wound around
Hardened ruiners ravaging all we have
Like raptor they kill, devour and fly

Cupidity, the spirit of avarice
Eating up the weak flesh and bones
The bones and marrow are gone
The butchers cry for them at least
But voracity, the soul of gluttony
Are stuck to, the looters of, them all

Frightful shudder
Quakes my land and its borders
The foetuses cry for fear of murder
They see no safety in their mother
Desperate ones are full of fright
In fluster, they make to swim out to land
Through the reddish stream for life
But sadly, their dual times are slaughtered

The parasites of our mother's head
Are not even bothered about our care
When the land is shedding tears
The swamp's trickles must be bloody red

Grievous time like this was never known
These are years of sorrow untold
And a season of terrible dash of hope

Geography of a Pandemic

This is a tanka, because Canada is "tanking":

I
There are 3 countries that are really "North America" -
Canada, Us, and Mexico (Most forget Mexico is North!)

II
"Stainless Steel" Lady Mcgreavy updated me on the news from Canada -
"The American Pandemic has passed the permeable borders"

III
Mexico was always bad with policing, law and order bull
After George Floyd, Canada cops are killing First Americans

IV
Canada has upped the ante - is it THE END ?
RCMP are killing - by guns - First Nations Women. Lord!

2019 Unbroken Lull In Killings Return With a Vengeance

Screaming headlines erupted...
BREAKING news...massacre
barrage of gunfire
wrought countless deaths
newly minted unknown
mass murderer suddenly infamous

speculation immediately
trumpeted hate crime
targeted, premeditated, calculated
mass murderous sprees,
gunmen gloated gleefully
resultant mayhem throve

countless dead tally increased
security details, police,
and emergency crews
barked orders while
yellow crime tape cordoned
mortally wounded

and seriously injured
rushed into onsight
triage units as sirens blared
killer(s) coup shattered
tenuous complacency
prior cautious optimism

hesitantly blinked awoke
initial six months
two thousand nineteen
witnessed eerie calm
before tabloid magazines
ripped pages incomplete bios

unleashed blitzkrieg bullets
rent asunder sanguine flickr
joyus kindled linkedin
outlook presaging quaint
good n plenti peace on Earth
good will to men/women

annihilated as bullets besieged
random innocent victims
giddily, indiscriminately, wantonly...
slain in cold blood
immediate conspirator theorists
gin up rumor mill

defend homicidal maniac
simultaneously don MAGA hats
invectives incurring anti racist
bigoted, capital one
demagogue googly eyed president
unsurprisingly witnesses
popularity uptick

"loose canon" Grinchy grin
hooligan prince smiles
Machiavellian ghost lauds
apprentice regarding 2020 candidacy
able, ready, and willing
promise furnishing arms to the teeth
for every man, woman, and child
as campaign slogan.

Kapendo Killings

KAPENDO KILLINGS

The news hit all side of the country
A heavy raid which killed
Not usual murder but
They were burnt to death

Reported and new casted
Turned all eyes red
Could not hold on tears
Heart wasnt in test but betrayed
For someone family falled apart

Songs of peace as well as wishers of unity
Which world are you offering your sacrifices
Are they burnt of smoked of evil
For still one country one blood no peace

No brother is happy for his mothers son
Again no mother nor father is happy for their family
Death and murder is our daily prayer
Our part time is fight

I comfort the drying souls
May God water the real roots of life
See them grow again green
May peace reign
May death never take us again

As we are sending the souls off
Bring another chapter of peace
Unity and love
May their souls burn the ruthless killers
Let them lack peace
But bring change

Kapendo killings
Will be printed in magazines and books
Recorded in brains and hearts of orphan beings
I swear we are going to ruin this country
If Peace wont stand for everyone
The love and unity will be swept by envy and riches

#KAPENDO killings
#preachUNITY

Innocent Killings

11th September,
Twin towers were on target,
Terrorists has revenge,
Against a democratic system.

11th September,
A black day for mankind,
Thousands innocent lost their lives
Only to reward justice.

11th September,
A democratic system,
Starts a search against criminals,
And killed thousands innocents.

11th September,
A search against criminals,
Turned into a clash,
To attack on countries,

11th September,
A justice promoting family,
Was targeted on their travelling,
To pressurises justice system.

11th September,
Turned into a clash of religions,
A holly Jihad or a justice seeking group,
Opens fire against eachother.

11th September,
Where Citizen has fight,
And challenged their national security,
For their religious belief.

11th September,
Got an opportunity of poverty,
To use poor children,
For promotion a human bombs.

New York, Washington, London,
Madrid, Philippines and Egypt,
Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq,
Palestine, Israel and India,

Nuclear Bombs are on top list,
To stop a danger in future,
But a terrorist network still alive,
After thousands innocent’s killing.

11th September,
A war on terrorists is continue,
Turned into a war of intellects,
Where mankind has innocent killings.

Killings

Political killing is really bad
Very unfortunate, through the struggle i take it with a pang
And forget with much difficulty after a decade
But police killing? A Heinous crime
A blot upon democracy, a black spot on humanity
I abhor I detest and will never forget before a century
But killing someone
On the basis of collective consciousness?
Holy Lord! Never! Never! Until the civilization has not been destroyed .

The True Devil

Eyes of a trader
With words of wisdom
You make destruction look so good
You don't use force
But the beauty and cursive of your words is tantalizing

You can make dreams come true
But what they don't realize is your true intentions are very much cruel
Your like a rock that has been painted gold
You look pretty and real on the outside
But once someone cracks you open
They realize just how dark, cold, and worthless you really are

But you don't fool me
With that toothy grin
That cunning smile
Like a snake waiting to strike its next prey

He gives you just enough to keep you coming back for more
Having mistaken your curses for blessings
Praying for gold instead of glory
Riches instead of righteousness

Allowing your mind to grow smaller
Being carnal minded
Your flesh stinks of indecency and willfulness
You make a mockery of his words

We were supposed to be the chosen ones
But instead we dirty his floors with our muddy feet
Then we wonder why we're hanging from trees
Like the ornaments we hang on that dreadful Christmas holiday
Used for target practice by those who are supposed to protect us

We wonder why we can't rise to the top no matter how hard we work
WE ARE CURSED!
And the only people we can blame is ourselves
We are dirty
Refusing to bathe
We reek of sin
Like an alcoholic
Drowning in Gin

We are killing each other without even using weapons
Men the call themselves preachers
They don't deserve to be watchmen
They would be better at being hit men
Because of all the lives they are consuming with their ignorance

You try to warn them before it's too late
But they refuse to listen
Calling you a liar?
Their ears plugged with thick wax
So much so that they can't hear
Refuse to hear

So?
Who is the real devil?
You may ask?
It's US!

Premium Member Stop, Stop The Division

Army versus Navy
Navy versus Army
Army versus Army
Navy versus Navy
Stop, stop the division
Stop the separation
Stop the genocide
The bombs, the pesticide
And the bullets are killing
Women, children, our offspring
Elderly and unarmed civilians
Americans versus Americans
Haitians versus Haitians
Ranchers versus immigrants
Peasants versus inhabitants
Aliens versus migrants
Citizens versus Martians
Vice versa, all the sagas
And crying out loud, alas
Stop, stop the divisions
Stop all toxic and evil actions
Stop the apartheid
This is no way to be united
The cancerous lies and the sulfurous oozes are
Spread all over. This is war
War never makes sense
This is not the right time to dance
And to sing happy songs
There are too many deadly weapons
In the streets. Countless wrongs
Make nothing right
Don’t censure my crayons, pencils and pens
God said: ‘Let there be light
And there were lots of lights’
Respect for human rights
Is important and paramount
Continuous killings are abhorrent
Constant lies are detrimental
To our immediate health
And to our eventual wealth
Stop being criminal and genocidal
Stop the bombardments
Start the disarmaments
Stop all negative sounds
And let sleep the greyhounds
And everyone at peace
We want no blood and no injustice
Stop, stop the demolitions
Stop, stop all destructions.
