Kapendo Killings

KAPENDO KILLINGS

The news hit all side of the country
A heavy raid which killed
Not usual murder but
They were burnt to death

Reported and new casted
Turned all eyes red
Could not hold on tears
Heart wasnt in test but betrayed
For someone family falled apart

Songs of peace as well as wishers of unity
Which world are you offering your sacrifices
Are they burnt of smoked of evil
For still one country one blood no peace

No brother is happy for his mothers son
Again no mother nor father is happy for their family
Death and murder is our daily prayer
Our part time is fight

I comfort the drying souls
May God water the real roots of life
See them grow again green
May peace reign
May death never take us again

As we are sending the souls off
Bring another chapter of peace
Unity and love
May their souls burn the ruthless killers
Let them lack peace
But bring change

Kapendo killings
Will be printed in magazines and books
Recorded in brains and hearts of orphan beings
I swear we are going to ruin this country
If Peace wont stand for everyone
The love and unity will be swept by envy and riches

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
