A Magic Adventure of Peter the Pan

A Magic Adventure of Peter The Pan/AKA Peta The Fwying Pan

Peter was a fine young pan with blue eyes
Like all the other pans his age, except,
Peter could not yet pronounce 'R's'--he tried...
And 'L's'...so hard he tried. He even wept.

School had been especially hard today
Peter had been poked, teased, and made fun of
More this day than any other school day...
And the ride home took so long on the bus.

When he came through the door, his mama knew
"Why the long face? Are you hurt? Are you sick?"
"No ma'am," said Peter, "Just tiwad fwom schoow".
"Some cookies and milk may just be the trick!"

Mama said, as Peter sat down to eat.
By now, everyone was gathered around
To hear of his day--and sneak a treat.
So he told them his story...and they frowned.

"How can someone be so cruel! Makes no sense!
You are the smartest and brightest of pans!"
Said Debbie Dishwasher-- then cycle rinsed.
The rest agreed and came up with a plan.

"Okay! It's agreed!" said Bob the blender.
"You need magic!--THAT--we can render!

Charles Chalice and Gail Goblet--my dear
Bring what you have, for this magic milk shake.
Michael Magic Grill...you go get us some beer
And also get Peter a great big steak!"

Then everyone sang together with cheer:
"A parr-ty! A parr-ty! It's a parr-ty!
We are all...having...a magic--parr-ty!"

Everyone was busy, hust'ling around.
Tams the Golden Toaster was making toast.
Tex Texas Tea Pot hummed a whist'ling sound.
David Dish and Sara Spoon danced the most,
Except for Marlon Mop--he could 'get down'!

Carol Crock Pot was fixing up the Soup.
Russell Rolling Pin had rolled out a crust
For a magic pie with love from the coop.
Joann Juicer made fresh smoothies--a must!
Suddenly...a sound was heard on the stoop...

"Who could that be? It's nearly midnight!"
Said Cyndi Chandlier all bright with light.
Christopher Cutting-board called, "I'll go see!"
Vienna Vaccume said, "Not without me!"

"Wait!" Debbie Dishwasher cried from the sink.
"Let's look at more options. We need to think.
It could be someone in need of a meal...
Or, it's a burglar--come here to steal!"

"Everyone else! Quickly! Hide inside me
Until we find out who that sound might be!"

Love Vs True Love

There is a big difference between finding love,
and finding true love.

True love is when you walk into a room
and all you see is the one you truly love.
It's like you have became blind to everyone else.

When they say your name for the first time.
It's at that exact time
you want to hear them say your name
for the rest of your life.

Now your name takes on a new meaning.
It's at that moment your heart really starts to live.
This is the day you put your fingerprints on each others hearts.

The sunsets and sunrises take on a new meaning .
Music has a new and improved sound.
Even food has a better taste.
Steaks become much juicer.
Fruit becomes sweeter.
Sodas have more fizz
and when you look to the sky
you will see a bird winking at you.

When the two of you talk
even though room is full of people
all you hear is each other and
people's voices just fade away
like how old songs ended on the radio.

Brain Strain - a Kitchen Adventure

Brain strain – A kitchen adventure

Broken ladles scattered about the new granite countertops
Veins of years gone by, prehistoric earth tremblings, spotted composites
in a vast array of colors, wickedly smooth and hard as rock (go figure)

Silverware sings like wind chimes on the tile floor,
cast aside in frantic search…long drawers, endlessly hiding that utensil,
somewhere behind the egg slicer, yellow plastic (what would I do without it?)

Meat thermometer (that sounds nasty) Tupperware tops for what?
Plastic reminders of meals past, no longer fitting their
spaghetti sauce discolored partners, in assorted sizes (used now as makeshift cat food bowls)

Pots and pans, why is it always pots and pans, never pans and pots,
hell in alphabetical order it would be, who thinks up this stuff?
And then those damn lids that never stack (handles, who needs them?)

A blender, a mixer, a dicer, a juicer, a toaster and an apple peeler. An apple peeler?
Brownie tins shaped like a labyrinth, but look at all of those corners…chewy
Not good for the diet but make the perfect Christmas gift. (much more than an apple peeler)

There it is, finally, behind a 5 lb. bag of potatoes and the old Mr. Coffee machine,
tarnished silver, at least a hundred star patterned holes, three little worthless feet…my colander
The one I use to strain my brain, removing all of the bad stuff (so the only thought left is you)

Premium Member Reply To Aunt Mabel's Annual Spring Letter

My Dear Aunt Mabel, I am responding to your Annual Spring Letter
And hope you are recovering from the bloat, and feeling much better,
I wanted you to know that, with the cold, I am wearing the sweater
Since it came from England, I feel like I’m an international jet-setter!
I sliced my finger on the juicer, so now, to the doctor I am a debtor,
I am hoping that misfortune won’t cause my finger to develop a tetter
Be sure to tell me if Aunt Fay’s son, Sid, is still locked in the fetter.
Is Aunt Lula Fay’s gay nephew, well …, uh, I hear he’s a real go-getter.
Is it true, what I hear, that he works for the space program as a vettor?
Aunt Mabel, thinking it would be good if you adopted an Irish Setter….
This spring, it seems to me, is much colder and most definitely wetter.
Well, I must close. It’s late. Looking forward to your next letter.
P.S. I bought a new Bissell! A friend asks if you can teach him to whistle!

Fruit Juice

G-low in the blue sky
I-s shining sixteenth January;
G-leams above the clouds
I-ntensify the glory.

T-he Monday beacon comes,
R-ising above the horizon;
A-iming to bathe your heart,
P-ouring raindrops are gone.
S-unday shadows disappear, as you wake from slumber;
I-t's a refreshing fruit juice processed by the juicer.

Laced To Kill

They fatten up the grazing cattle,
roughly milking the goats and cows
Shoveling the pigs their slop,
throwing chicken feed to the hens walking about
They do the grunt labor,
always with their mind on the feast
Puffing up people’s chest breast pride;
making them feel real special like,
like they’re Mary’s little lamb
Then sardine march them to the slaughter house
to get fleeced, flayed and canned
Your vote means a lot, this you are told —
but, your newly elected government officials
already has been bought and sold
by the profit puppeteers, human cattle barons who:
Feed the people sweet candy lies,
give them the poison pill
	Feed the people falsehoods,
strychnine sugar tablets laced to kill
Let truth be a famine,
		          never to be digested
Burn truth in a bonfire
kindled by poisonous, flammable hatred
		Unholy shepherds will make you
the guest of honor at their Baal feast
But they don’t tell you that you’re the main course,
and it’s your flesh they’re gonna eat
So very strange seeing the lost flock
being shepherded by ravenous beasts
They desire to have you as their meat
But first, they’re gonna fatten you up some more;
make you more tender, and even juicer still
Then lead you to the slaughter by your own freewill
	Watch out for the ones
who come trying to feed you sweet licorice lies
Trying to give everybody the poison pill
	Beware of the wicked ones
who come wearing a new Jim Jones disguise —
Giving out cyanide Kool-Aid laced to kill

Professional Juicer

River flows in desert,
Express roads in wilderness,
Bountiful harvest in exile,
Technological assignments to a master,
Make electrons flow in circuit(s).

Watery jokes in sadness,
Colourful muse in loneliness,
Faded depression inks happiness.
Yet, wisdom never relent its chase.
How circuit breakers save blue heaven!

Trances are loyal,
Than physical nature's monuments.
Logics are reasonable,
Than loyalist in temptation.
That's Lucy in the sky with diamond!

Let no right fight,
For left is at the corner.
If left keep calm real good;
Argument won't win discussion,
When cut-outs are well stationed.

Understanding to the listeners,
Knowledge to the speakers,
Wisdom to the readers,
Muse to the writers,
All works together for the best.

Premium Member A Sprinkle of Fun

Worry and pain
Wind and rain
Masks and cleaners
A porch with boxes
Movies about dreamers
Still a natural anti-depressant
Above the juicer in the cabinet
Yes wine summons but more for the heart
Dark chocolate beckons
Powders, cookies and bars
And those luscious sprinkles from the stars
