On full moon night, wild tresses float like flowers
as stars ignite her arms to dance, then to pull
her gypsy robe, arise  tambourine hours ;
the wake of feet romancing tunes from sky’s drool.

Bold magic only her distinct kismet whips
Yet she, humbled by thief lover’s captured kiss,
unveils the inner tramp panting without reign.
By dawn, a Jezebel turns into maid chained!

Humbled

Sitting in my church this morning
Feeling just so lost today
Way in the back with my head down
I started to weep and pray

I said I'm just not worthy enough to be here
After all you've done for me
But this is the only place I feel at peace
Where I feel like I am free

Just let me be in your presence for this hour
Let your spirit fill my troubled heart
I promise I will sit quietly
Until your message you impart

I never came here to please the pastor
Just so I was noticed in the pew
I'm only here because I feel so lost
I just want to be close to you

And then I felt the cleansing flood
Wash over my tattered soul
He touched me though I wasn't worthy
He touched me and made me whole.

Humbled Part 2

~ (~) ~

Soaring higher,
inspiring-and-bold;
far beyond-the-normal,
a true originality stands
alone, lives Honestly boldly,
Openly-Willingly, remains-
connected, centered-
and-free, is confined-
never-within-itself,
looks for a perfect
home amid the mix
revealing for all-the-
goodness frosting-
the-butter cake-
welcomes the-
test-of-time,
stays-at-
home-within-
the-heart-of-what-
is-real, challenges-
only itself offers its hope-
to another to live a life, as
                                                                              irrefutable.

"Many boundaries remain for us on this journey to find this. It has taken many years of faith;
failure... mostly on my family and friends part the failures being mine to rise to this position.
Because through their faithfulness and belief in me even when I did not believe myself I stand
here with them and you at this positioning of accepting this fact today. "As I was brought so
they too were I believe through God's goodness ultimately I pray to remain, because
humbled by Him through this I am - as we all are I feel-if too; they are willing themselves to
look, and if not-I-know in this time left-however much if even it only merely now.

Just as I believe now Mr *Frost* himself suggested in and through his life of acceptance of
this written down in the prevalence of his work. So with that being said again thank you for
listening, struggling, pondering searching I know myself it is in the effort of this an ambition
offered and accepted and entirely a proposition not; for not-in it potential and final fruition.
So yes-as I said many boundaries remain as We peregrinate along with each other on this
journey. It is a pleasure to have shared in this with you thus far.

God willing I know the boundaries will be overcome, working together Him being the guide
and maybe it will not be that long either I-We if you will can-only-hope as I would presume as
I am by far at least have been opened myself to the opportunities though I know them only in
part as of now in their various ways as the greater suggestion.

Humbled

amidst the dunes of restless seas
my arms outstretch in sorrowed pleas
beneath the lash of winds i fall
atop the grains of sands i crawl

Thank you.

I would like to thank particularly as I am adopted my many Mothers, and Fathers, family's
and friends and the family whom I am not with now of my marriage ... . Your patience with
me along with God's the time shared is the reason I stand here today.

My work was mainly inspired by one of the greatest poets I believe to ever live. I believe with
all that was in him he wrote, and with all that was in him he lived for what he wrote. Mainly
two poems. Among others. The poems *Mending Wall* & *The Road Not Taken.*. Written By
none other than *Robert Frost*. These two poems sum up all of his work I believe, as well as
mine. I wrote a poem inspired by both. Here it is. The words of this poem form in the shape
and reference a picture of me as a lad, also center alined it forms an open vessel ready to be
filled. ""Written for my angels ((INSPIRATION") Raquel, and Jonathan. "Take-untrodden-
paths, LIVE... !""

Humbled

mountains and valleys, cold streams and tall trees,
corn fields and farm lands, black crows and young bees,

green grass and sun flowers, black bears and ground hogs,
chickens and ducklings, young cats and old dogs,

all of them sharing, this land of plenty, along with the whole human race,
we’re changing the earth, for better we say, but what we are doing, is changing it’s face,

condos are rising, factories spreading, water’s polluted,
progress we’re saying, but in the end, we’re all deluded,

microwave ovens, gas guzzling cars, cellular phones,
making life easier, even the killing, is now done with drones,

to think mother nature, will stand by and see,
her face being changed, to such a degree,

the future will see, the condos have crumbled, sky scrapers tumbled,
we’ll then realize, to mother nature, we’ll all be humbled.

From Pride To Faith

To learn to be grateful,
to me means to be humbled.
Life has a funny way,
of doing exactly as they say,
have gratitude
and you will receive in magnitude,
lessons on life that hold true.
I have faith in you.

Watch as I stumble,
hear me roll and rumble,
like thunder I am heard,
as I look to the skies
my vision is blurred,
by the mistakes that litter my path,
I can feel other's wrath.
Drop me to my knees
and show me all there is to see.

Take my will and my life
and humble me.
Take my faults of character,
take my hand as I walk down this corridor,
as the path grows smaller,
be my scholar.
Guide me towards trading my pride
for going along with the ride.

As I'm knocked down,
I let go of my crown.
I'm no longer queen of this place,
I've traded silk and lace,
for a new way to feel,
press down on the seal.
I have changed,
no longer caged,
by pride and pain.

Humbled From Above

Humbling are the blessings..
that we find.
Life is bittersweet..
When they combine.
Beauty's all around us.
Just take a look around.
Soon your blessings..
will be found.
If we live in the moment.
If we do our best.
Our conscious is clear.
When we lay to rest.
Inside our souls..
if we are guided by love.
We'll sail up to heaven..
To meet our Lord above.
Happiness is made..
by our spirits will.
Growth takes place..
Soul will instill..
Kindness ..compassion.
It doesn't take much.
It's somebody's heart..
that you will touch.
Be wise and be faithful..
always take the high road.
You'll reap the rewards..
To be bestowed.
Friendship, Love & Knowledge..
is all that we'll take there.
Be a good person..
show that you care.

Premium Member Humbled Ground

I realize: I must not complain..
For all I have, some wants to attain..
It's not to much nor to plain..
Yet, it is enough for years to gain..

I'm neither rich nor poor..
Nor I am sick lying in bedroom..
Nor I am a person under odorous fumes..
Nor I am a being not in timely tune..

Trials stripped me off from comforts..
Obstacles lead me to tackle each effort..
Disappointments made me all the more on rapor..
Failures didn't keep me long bended injured...

I don't speak as to be proud..
I want to tell the whole world..
I have my God beside and around..
Keeping my feet totally still on ground..

Humbled

coming across a body of work
(literary, visual, theoretical,
physical, aural---all evidently
significant to what it is to be
human amidst other humans
in the present, here) put forth
by a wo/man which it would
take two lifetimes to indulge
in---inspiring & making life
more fascinating with each
turn of the metaphorical
page (aspects of a voice/actions
that demand nothing of you
but keeps your focus, acute &
precise, unobligated & easy,
giving back 10 fold satiation),
yes,
this is when the domino effect
of influence is witnessed, wherein
the production of one piles on
another & such mutual interest &
mutual investment of time & energy
together, gets seen by others, gets
found by others & passed on
like a torch whose flame burns
merely with the fuel produced by
its passing & the humbling notion
hits us when standing in the shadow
of a wo/man wiser, one that has no
problem acknowledging their own
ignorance & humbling in the light of
those that have influenced them---
knowing that no truly & spontaneously
original act or thought comes about
without the genius of those that have
come before & that nothing will
progress without those that come
after, creating a pastiche of all people
everywhere, simultaneously walking
at our own individual pace, with one
foot in a shallow puddle of significance
& the other in a puddle of irrelevance---
both feet splashing & mixing, splashing
& mixing, until we stop walking.

Humbled, But Happy

I feel like I've come home...
For far too long I did roam,

You folks have welcomed me,
And, as far as I can see,
This looks like,
One incredible place to be.

Thank you all,

J. Bart

Premium Member wrong

Have you ever been wrong?
I was wrong.
Ugly, smugly wrong.
Psephologically wrong.
Hit the iceberg,
smoking’s good for you,
the treaty of Versailles,
left on red,
Copernicus, Aristotle, Custer,
wrong.
I’m not claiming an excuse,
wrong.
It wasn’t you,
it was me,
wrong.
Just fricking
kiss a frog
wrong.
Wrong all along,
wrong about the world,
reevaluate me wrong,
wrong, wrong, wrong.
I can admit I was wrong.
Can you forgive me,
can I forgive me,
wrong
