Best Hopelight Poems
Amidst the smog
That wraps your city
Clogging the view
above the horizon
Of skies beauty
There is still one star left
that you see
And in your heart's ear
it whisper:
Amidst the intense smoke
that hids the multitude
Of other
hope and light giving company
I'm still here
to light and guide you
On your way
Yet I may be so faint
But the vision of your soul sees
that this faint light
is enough
To lit extinguished hope
to blaze again
in your cold heart!
Watching the world through a blacked-out window
You see no sun,
Yet people see light shining in your eyes,
You are the sun for others
Watching children play, wishing you were them,
You start to cry,
People see your child- like tears,
Yet nobody seems to care
Giving light to others,
You realize you’re alone
Your flame is burning brightly
Yet you still feel blind
But if you look deep into your heart, and open the window,
You realize,
You are the sun,
Your stars need your brightness,
And one day you will find the special star,
Which will add to your flame,
And you will burn brighter then ever,
Spreading joy and happiness for miles around.
Having played hard all day, the dusk now sets in,
A time to re-join with her kith and her kin.
But today she will not be afforded that lot,
For the souls she now dwells with, her family are not.
Skipping through town she finds her delight,
In the form of a window, and a lamp glowing bright.
For a moment the emptiness dons a disguise,
As the warmth it emits, brings light to her eyes.
A light that dispells all the pain and the fear,
And speaks to her heart the words "Love must live here".
Igniting her spirit, evicting the dark,
She's drawn to the glow as a moth to a spark,
A friend most familiar, a lighthouse in part,
Soft beacon of safety, offering peace to her heart.
Is she pined for by those she so yearns for today?
Are their hearts still connected though an ocean away?
The swift years have flown by, two score have now seared,
The dream of the little one since first it appeared.
That an ember of light take it's place in her life,
And drive out the rejection, the fear, and the strife.
She finds herself hopelessly, aimlessly bound,
To a life with no future, a voice with no sound.
Dark closes in on the warm light of day,
The light that once held their rejection at bay.
Having mourned her whole life, for the life she once knew,
Mending pieces of brokeness, to just get her through,
Believing acceptance she one day could own,
Hope now extinguished she yearns to go home.
YLE
I see a light in the dark
Truly positive light
Among great despair
This is hope, it takes its form
Of a star in a broken world
My heart skips its rhythm
When the light flickers
I urge it to stay lit
It kisses my spirit
And I find myself lost for words
Was I ever wrong for losing it?
This beauty, this light
This wonderful spirit
That shone so brightly
In the perilous night
A strangest thought I feel
A deepest darkness of a mind
The corners turned from pain
Sanity of humanity I survied
I thought they would come for me
Locking away from praying eyes
Each knock of the door I crawled away
They could not get in
Time would tick and the madness would appear
Nothing was clear the light was full of fear
Not a single tear but a crowded tear drops
They fell in such despair
The walls were stone like the heart that ruled
I see a thought the strangest thought
I see rose blooms I see the light with sunshine covering me
I hear the laughter from within yes I hear the laughter
A truth from each corner of my mind
I now find a smile in those thoughts of mine
A strangest thought I feel
An angel falls in rain, on slippery rock
Wings matted down by the on pour
A battle to the highest peak, nature the only competitor
A gray gown, clinging to pale skin
Edged ruthlessly by dirt, muddy stains on white
Unforgiving thunder rolls off the mountain
"I'm sorry lord"
Whispers on the wind call quietly
Through the dark, brooding clouds, white light drifts
Sliding silently in and out of vision, like a sacred dance
She almost looses her footing as thunder shakes the rock
Rubble starts to fall and she covers her head
Giant wings come down, and cover the angel
White light surrounding her in an orb
"It's all right"
The angel whispers in her ear
"I'm here"
His arms wrap around her, shielding her from the rain
The sky doesn't clear, but he'll play the game
Darting past the lighting he carries her in his arms
through the gates of heaven, past all its guards
he knelt before his father, and begged and prayed
"Dear Heavenly Father, please let her stay..."
With tears in both their eyes, he cradled her in his arms
she clung to him, her head on his shoulder
the lord looked at them compassion in his eyes
"Go my son, take her and fly"
He looked up at God, love in his eyes
Gathered her in his arms, and away they did fly
Theres a light hidden somewhere
I swore I knew it once upon a time
At least I thought there was
Someone told me that, that light was Hope
I hear you can find that light in young children still
But I hope those children grow up better than I
I watched one day as that light was torn from my heart
Torn from my soul
By this harsh cruel world
Surviving this life with that light is a feat
Someday I plan to find my light again
One day an elderly man told a little girl
The world’s a cold dark place,
But it doesn’t have to be that way
It can be beautiful as long as you keep that light
The one In your heart alive
I am that little girl
But I foolishly gave my light to someone else
And they demolished it
Maybe someday
Somewhere
Someone will replenish it
The ultimate light comes from Jesus the day he die for us.
Showing us that love can over come, all if we just have faith
in his holy spirit. That guides us through this world of sin.
And wickedness that only the devil has.
The ultimate light well over come, all of that and more even death. The ultimate light well shine when no other can.
So put your faith in Jesus the ultimate light.
Who will being us peace, joy and happiness forevermore, and life everlasting the ultimate light.
Shine through the darkest night leading us to heavens bright lights .
The ultimate light is your to have, if you give Jesus your soul .
To have the ultimate light is your peace to your soul.
i saw the light yesterday,
ragged breath by ragged
breath, how lovely was
this light a promisising
light. i felt light and warm,
uplifted by this light. i saw
it i swear i did, it was the
hand of God who said
you my not come in i
have a chore for you
so you must live my
child, but someday
you will sit with me
in all my glory.
These stars are so bright they light up this night. I wish i could pluck them one by one to put
in a jar so i might always have a light to guide me home. I want to soar among them, to
twinkle and shine, to belong amongst a star filled sky, to be one of heavens eyes, and maybe
be the one to guide someone home.
Pillars of light form between clouds
Supporting the sky
Of puffed gray, cotton vapor.
The smell of fresh earth arises
And reminds me
That light returns
After the darkness
Color returns
After the gray
And I return
After the words
For the pillars of light
That dry my rain.
My days are cold, My nights like ice,
For the Love I bleed, I sacrifice.
Inside Of me, I feel the strain,
In my Heart, I feel the Pain.
My life has Always been this way..
And In the End, I deeply Pray.
I fight for love. & die once more..
My heart is Torn, My Soul is Sore.
I cry each night till i fall asleep..
I long for love, Pure & deep.
Love's Flame Burns bright,
within My heart,
And in my soul love plays a part.
I need love's light to find my way..
Beside my love i wish to stay.
But Frozen without Love's Embrace..
I wish to hide my tear stained face.
The shadows grow, & wrap around,
Quietly sneaking, without a sound.
within this wasteland.. I am found.
My Prison grows, The air is chill,
Its light & love my soul must Feel.
Banish the cold & frozen me....
So that we may both live.... happily.
IN THE LIGHT I SEEM TO MISS THE ONE THING I MISS THE MOST,
THE TASTE OF PAIN AGAINST THE WINDOW PLAIN, I SET FORTH TO SEE
THE UNSEEN IN THE YARD I ONCE PLAYED AT GROWING UP AS A LITTLE GIRL,
I BLINK AND BLINK TO STEADY MY EYE'S BUT THE SKY SEEMS TO FALL,
I TRY TO SQEEZE OUT A LITTLE OF MY LIGHT TO FILL THE WORLD,SO I COULD SEE
DEEP DOWN IN SIDE, MY LIFE SEEM TO FADE AWAY IN A GLARE OF THE NIGHT,I HOPE TO
FEEL THE HEAT ON MY CHEEK AND THE TAN I ONCE BEGUN TO FEEL,BUT YET NO ONE SEEM
TO CARE,I BEEN TRAPPED DOWN HERE FOR I DON'T SEEM TO CARE,TRYING TO REMEBER THE
DAYS FROM MONTHS,I CALL OUT HELP BUT THE NIGHT SEEMS TO COME SLOWER AND
SLOWER.I SIT AND WAIT AND DOSE OFF TO AWAKENED BY A MORNING RAVE.GOODNIGHT.

Return back to my Hell
Though it is a hell
There is a light to walk and
water to drink
Though there are many thorns and stones on my way
There is a way to light and
place to live
The heaven may be sweet to stay
but nothing will be given to eat and
nothing will be given to drink
There is a class and
there are many groups of privileged
Am I privileged or blessed?
No, cursed soul I am
and suppressed man I am
For me it is safer
It is good for my freedom
I returned to my hell to feel relax in demon's shadows
