Best Heartaches Poems
Man is Fearful and unapologetic
Oh yes chivalry is dead
Fair ladies and noble chivalry
Is a thing of the past?
As men board buses and trains
And small passageway
they boorishly, yelled to the ladies
Even on the freeway
To move out of the way
They had a long hard day.
the fair ladies are not timid
Or Wall flowers anymore,
They retaliate and never exhibit ladylike qualities
Therefore, men referred to them as bores , whores.
es and witches
Women!
Let us never bow and apologize
To please the non-gentlemen let them please us.
Chivalry is dead,
Let them stand on the tiptoes to foresee their future
Knowingly, it’s all there in front of them
Because most men are broken giant in all they mishaps:
Weakness by nature in all they arrogates ways.
Whom Do They Think They Are ?
Smiles express, tears depress;
friends dwindle, fools abound.
Efforts fail, hearts confess;
eyes beckon lies confound.
Rivers flow, souls, shutter;
doubts linger; passions flame.
Truths falter, words stutter;
fears fester, feelings blame.
Bonds erode, friendships bind,
teardrops fall, dreams desist.
Insults hurt, beliefs blind,
egos bruise, pains persist.
Grapes ferment, needles sting,
gamers play, babies cry.
Bellies ache, fenders ding,
eagles fly; soldiers die.
Failures fade, hopes renew,
spirits haunt, debts amass.
Hugs assure, hurts construe;
sails unfurl, heartaches pass.
O my goodness, my dream! I dreamed that you were here
Your photograph hung above the mantel
You in your favorite suit: black and white
Your boyish haircut: like little boy blue tights:
In the background stood your old guitar, montel
Yorkie, your best friend watched with curious eyes:
I long to be with you: I long to hold you
I long for us to be whole again:
Ocean can only separate us, for a short time
I am not yours and you are not mind,
My worn out heart this old thing, have been
control, misunderstood and influence:
It remember, those who love it, and those
Who pretended to understand it:
Heartaches will never last nor will they ever stay;
sorrow shall go so fast in the passing of day.
Once in a little while, one’s heart may break and bleed;
abandoned by the smile, his teardrops want to plead.
The colors of life’s way are not just pink and bright
but also dark and gray for the day and the night.
The pain and hopelessness are just in someone's mind;
causing some mental stress, better leave them behind.
Nobody else can cure your wound but you alone;
self-confidence for sure takes you from your cry zone.
The sweet smile of your own makes the whole world laugh too;
yes, the sadder you moan, the more it's only you.
Getting out of deep well of severe depression
is easier to tell than to show in action.
If forgiveness will rise and will forget the past,
then you shall realize, heartaches will never last.
Memories to Heartaches
Caregivers Tribute- Alzheimer’s, Dementia
From memories to heartaches though not one that you would trade.
As you stand and see your loved one and watch their memory fade.
So many treasured moments that you long to reminisce.
After hearing all, they don’t recall that’s something you can’t risk.
It’s like a game of chance somehow that you cannot control.
To hear they don’t remember is like a knife wound to your soul.
Those ever precious moments so sure you’d always share.
They hear you tell the story but can’t remember being there.
That part of you the heart of you is ripped right from your being.
As you live through the moment you wish that you weren’t seeing.
Confusion seems to grip their mind, of things treasured for so long.
As they slowly turn to look away you know they’re thinking that you’re wrong.
The lifetime spent, wonder where it went? It seems like such a shame.
Though not the first it hurts the worst they don’t recall your name.
Wishing, praying it would change, an ending to your sorrow.
Clinging to the hope in you it’s a better day tomorrow.
When you somehow rise and look in their eyes and do it all again.
Not knowing that the strength you find is coming from within.
Sent to you to see you through like a gift sent from above.
As memories turn to heartaches caring for the one you love.
Edwin C Hofert
Some broken hearts will never mend
for souls are swept by varied storms-
loss of sweet love and lives that end-
heartache comes in different forms.
Along my way today I found
some broken hearts will never mend;
everywhere fractured lives abound
with grief we cannot comprehend.
They struggle to the bitter end
wearing their happy disguises;
some broken hearts will never mend
and they come in many sizes.
It could be you, it could be me,
the soul whose heartache does not end
so let kindness your watchword be;
some broken hearts will never mend.

The sand is whipping round my face
But inside it's my heart that aches
I have been forced to marry you
And I must always be true
You might love me, deep inside
But my true feelings I must hide
For when it's time for me to pray
I pray and pray for better days
Oh sweet Allah, hear my plea!
Let some joy come back to me
My life is colorless and bland
Like the color of desert sand
The sand is whipping round my face
And now my heart no longer aches.
We were back to back, you my foundation and solid wall
But then you stood up and left me cold, a leaning tower of grief caved in on me
How cold the world turned that day, that moment time stood still
There was no blanket nor any comfort thrown my way
I braced the burning cold alone and cried my heart to sleep
My souls fire dwindled and died, like a white out storm,
Avalanches of dolefulness came crashing down on my senses
But as the sunrise started its pulsing glow across the sky,
I realized that I couldn’t change anything,
The hourglass keeps flowing,
And you couldn’t turn back the hands of time even if you tried,
Life went on, there wasn’t a glimmer of remembrance,
The sweet melody of our hearts lost to the morning zyphr,
The wind gradually took on more force with every passing minute,
Slashing through my hearts airtight arteries,
I was left numb, submerged in a roaring river of wreckage
Marooned at sea, my tears wouldn’t stop flowing
The rain God heard my cries of grief and joined in the fray,
Each deluge tried to wash away the pain but to nought effect
Instead my heart got carried away with the tide
Tsunamis of bursting emotion, created a vortex
Free falling into a sink hole of precarious security,
I landed smack hard, down on the ground,
The incessant whoosh of the wind, circling my mind ,
playing through my opened heart, like a brazen flute
Each blow a sad melancholy sound called heartache
Broken and bruised I limp away, the sound of heartache humming to my gait

My pounding head's all the proof I need
To see that my life needs a change
And the heartaches that I've felt before
They both share the same blame
From the bottle came the turkey
From the can poured the shame
Since my missing you, I had to choose
How can I keep living life this way
Heartaches and hangovers
Broken dreams and wasted days
Not suttle in their difference
But they're one in the same
I don't wanna go on without you
Or see my life go to hell
These demons that I carry
Have me placed under their spell
Every night I have the same regrets
As I walk down the same road
Never finding what I'm looking for
Like somehow I had hoped
Heartaches and hangovers
Keep me living in the lie
That the man reflecting back on me
Is somehow different deep inside
A broken man can sometimes wonder
Just where did he go wrong
He'll use the problems from his broken past
To write a damn good country song
Why did everyone who loved him
Or at least claimed that they'd tried
Run away without one regret
And leave him dying more inside
Heartaches and hangovers
With yourself you must get right
Stop living in your broken past
And keep walking towards the light
Heartaches and hangovers....
The heart aches for it's loses
But the Spirit comforts pain
As we loose that which we love
God fills our heart where emptyness was
Look toward heaven for His touch
Then that sorrow fills you
He takes joy in giving us His Love and Comfort
Take comfort in His peace and assurance
When heartbeats race, it could be love.
Loves lonely heart yearns for romance.
Romance with secrets, loves heartbroken.
Heartbroken love dies with mistrust.
Mistrust like rust corrodes two lonely hearts.

I once loved so hard til it hurts, I gave everything to that person because of one main reason, Love. My first to every aspect of the very famous bug, so I gambled wholeheartedly. It was great,as what the saying goes, "I'd rather feel love and be hurt than not knowing love at all." You just have to honestly enjoy the feeling while at it til it last because when great pain struck, you wont remember any of those for awhile.
He gave me a box full of heartaches, wrapped with lies and many stingy bling to my core. Painful yes, but no one can help my heart but my self. I regained the life of my heart to pump love again. One man's heartache should never be a reason to close your heart and definitely not a reason not to love again. My heart is now equipped with better and stronger armor for the next chapter of pain, thus Im not afraid to give my heart again. I knew what broken heart was and Im pretty sure I know now how to put back the pieces come what may.
The pain, I considered it a gift. A gift that taught me to see my self-worth, a gift that help me accept I deserve better and most of all, a gift of knowing, knowing I can love perfectly.
So to all the women/men out there, thank the man/woman who once or maybe twice broke your heart, they are too is a gift. A gift that give us great lessons. Next time? We certainly know how to deal with a box of heartaches.
Poems Stay With Me
Who life is this anyway,
Is she mistaking grief for depression?
as the saying goes.....
Grief is an opportunity to develop authentic belief
Twenty years ago, I lost him, I grief for him:
When he abandons us, should I have filed grievance?
those days it was so hard for me to hold her hands
And pretend I do care, about his passing,
Why must I be force to see things her way?
I love him, he love his mistress more, he walk away,
Our memories of him is not the same,
I see unloved, she sees the longing for his:
Poems stay with me, after he left,
Remembrance is not the same
Poems stay with me after he walk out the door:
Few days after her birth,
I cut my foot on a cardboard
The dark scar, never faded,
It stayed with me: longer than his love,
My tattoo of betrayal of all his lies:
Every problem in world today cannot be solved,
Each and every one of us at some point
Had that bad taste in our mouth..
Here I am this morning thinking of Christmas,
And the last time I had that taste of sadness
It can drag ones down, into the darkest places:
A poem will stay with me, after them gone
Our memories are not the same,
A poem will stay with me after them gone
And words will be sprinkle, on pages of happiness
I divided my tears into section
With each drop, with each snuffle
With each tissue: I thread
I remembering the good times we shared
February third was your passing
today: it’s my revelation:
*Let your speech be always with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer every man. you. Colossians 3:16
Summer fade and passes away
Just like our love wasn't meant to stay
The sound of rustling leaves
So cool to hear
Like music of the season
Whispering your name.
Soft frosty wind blew gently
To the sunbathed fields
Carpeted with the collision of red and gold.
Walking past the withered hedges
Reminiscing our Autumn history
Tears falling, fogging the view
Of misty valleys filled with smoke-blue.
'Tis the season of goodbyes
The year's last smile
Just like you and me
Of once upon an Autumnal sunrise.
