Best Haman Poems
A woman of great beauty Esther was,
chosen queen of a Persian king! Unknown
was Esther’s heritage she hid because
it was not safe to claim she was a Jew.
a plot to kill her people she was shown
by Mordecai, who was her cousin too.
An evil minister named Haman called
for genocide of Jews; the king agreed,
but Esther changed things, for the king, enthralled
by his dear wife, to Esther’s words paid heed.
She told the king her truth and risked her life.
Her people lived, and Esther stayed his wife.

(Esther 5: 2)
The King Held Out To Esther
The Golden Scepter
That Was In His Hand
She Was His Queen
The Woman Who Fulfilled His Dreams
One of The Most Beautiful In All His Lands
But It Was Persian Law For All
That Those The King Did Not Call
Would Be Struck Down Where They Stand!
Yet Brave & Beautiful Queen Esther
Whose Godly Faith Never Left Her
To Save Her People, Entered As Planned
Because There Was A Plot
Devised In Anger So Hot ...
By That Prideful, Wicked Prince Haman
To Kill All Esther's People
Haman Schemed So Evil
But The King Didn't Know Why It Began
... Or That Esther Was A Jew
In The Line of Hebrews
Who Worship The One GOD So Grand
But There Was No Hesitation
In Ahasuerus' Heart Designation
Towards This Woman Who Stood Royal & Serene
She Held Ahasuerus' Affection
and Did Not Suffer Rejection
As She Humbly Walked In, As His Queen
I Imagine All Got Quiet
Waiting For Swords To Riot
And See Esther's Head Roll Across The Floor
But At The Sight of Her Dignity
The Scepter Pointed Implicitly
To Grant Esther Whatever She Implored
And Oh, The Interplay
of Emotions That Day
Between This Woman & Her Loving Man
When The King Held Out To Esther
His Golden Scepter
... That Was In The Power of His Hand

(Part 2)
Oh, And That Wicked Haman Was Hanged
And His Family Shared The Blame
But Esther's People Were Saved From Judah To Benjamin, To Dan

I have always loved the story of Queen Esther ... This is a love story that has it all - - a lovely-hearted, modest girl, (replacing a vain and arrogant queen) ... then getting royally pampered, massaged in expensive, perfumed oils, lots of clothes and jewels, winning a beauty pageant, finding true love, conflict and suspense and lastly the heroine saves the day (and oh, did I mention that she was an orphan?) ... 'Com' on Movie-Makers - we could enjoy a lot more of this ... MoonBee

A festive Jewish holiday*
We celebrate today,
When children dress in costumes
And much merriment holds sway.
An evil man named Haman
Tried to have the Jews all killed.
The king, whose wife was Jewish,
Saw that deed was unfulfilled.
Since Haman wore a certain hat
Triangular in shape,
We eat three-cornered cakes to honor
Our too-close escape.
Called hamantaschen, they’re delish
And filled with fruit or “mun”
(Which translates into poppy seeds,
And that’s my favorite one).
The Purim story’s read each year
And Haman’s name is booed,
But afterwards we nosh,
With lots of hamantaschen chewed.
Commemorating history
With something we can taste
Takes a little of the bitter
And with sweetness it’s replaced.
*called Purim

Note: The Jewish Purimfest on 14.th of Adar reminds of the rescue of the Jewish people
from Haman, the highest government official of Persian king Xeres I. Everybody should
kneel down before Haman, but queen Ester's cousin Mordechai refused to do so. For revenge
Haman should have ordered the murder of all Jews. But Ester used her influence on Xeres I.
for the rescue of the Jews. Haman was killed together with 75,000 other Persians.

We have come
to the
season of Purim
We'll celebrate how
the Jewish people
defeated Haman
their bitter foe
How we once again
survived
as we have
so many times before
and after
this victory
The God of Israel
came to our aid
once again
We will feast tonight
on wine
and hamantashen
take joy
where we find it
Take joy in another sacred day
which marks the continuance
of the Jewish people
Do not fear
We have triumphed
in the past
We will again
Modern day Hamans
take note
We are not weak
but strong!
As I put pen to paper
I remember the Purim carnivals of my
youth
We will be able to capture these
childhood memories
and feel once again the
joys we once knew
HAMAN WAS DEFEATAED!

Blank verse
The death of My people the enemy had thought
Would further their plans of all that they sought.
So a plan was considered and a plot was set
A scheme was devised of evil intent.
It was Haman who plotted and it was Haman who schemed
His heart full of hatred for those I esteemed.
Lots were then cast for the great day of death
The enemy would fight to remove your last breath.
But My hand was there in your defense
My armies awaiting My word to advance.
So My people take heart for I Am your King
And the armies of heaven on earth do I bring.
The day then arrived; a day marked for pain
On the enemy it turned for My people to gain.
The battle was fierce and the slaughter was great
My people took spoils of the enemy's gate.
Many such battles must be fought and won
Dauntless the spirit of My chosen ones.
Dauntless in prayer; their words like a knife
Dauntless in battle, giving their life.
Their honour of Me is first in their heart
And from My Presence again they'll never depart.
So I will return the honour to them
And fill all the earth with My Presence again.

Year is 3035
And here I lie in my capsule
Waiting for the great End
Or may be deep in my heart
For an Alchemist
To come and show me
Some light
Among this dark plight...
The chemicals I used
To make my Oxygen
Is almost finished
The pills I take for vitamins and proteins
are also scarce
It's been ages since I tasted the food
For their is no tree or plant or herb outside
No oxygen in the atmosphere
The temperature inside is controlled
But outside is hell warm
From the glass windows
I have been seeing fireworks
For many weeks
Fire and lawa would erupt from nowhere
I know not if my friends
In my neighbouring capsules
Or alive or they starved to death
For none of us can move our capsule
As we are not left with much fule
An army of strange creature is taking the world
They drink fire which is erupting everywhere
And eat garbage which too is in abundance
The screaches of these fiery devils
Make my ears bleed
They are smashing our capsules for spot
And putting everything in their fiery gut
It's proving a final nail
In the coffin of haman race
And of the mother Earth
Alas, It all started gradually
With the cutting of the trees
And letting poisonous gases dissolve in atmosphere
Glaciers melted
Oceans evaporated
Atmosphere lost oxygen
Earth became a hot desert
Animals and birds... extinct
While humans... confined to their units
A lonely life in a small space
Without love, without friends, without family
It's everybody for it's self
Earth is about to shatter
Into pieces
I am already seeing the cracks
And the fireworks... blinding my sight
Oh God, make it end soon
For we have suffered way too much
Or send some help
And take me to a green Earth

Today’s a Jewish holiday
(It’s Purim) so, of course,
We celebrate by eating,
Which I heartily endorse.
The treats of choice are hamantaschen,
Triangles of dough
With prune or poppy filling
First baked many years ago.
They’re called this based on Haman
Who set out to kill the Jews.
The mention of his name’s drowned out
With groggers or with boos.
He wore a hat (3-sided)
So the pastries bear this shape.
Queen Esther foiled his evil plans
And helped the Jews escape.
Remembering, we eat our fill;
Each hamantash’s bite
Reminds us of the story
While it fills us with delight.

Ailments? Purim Cures 'Em!
Down 'N the Dumps?
Simcha smoothes most lumps,
What's Simcha? Briefly, Shared Joy,
As more 'tis shared, less there is to annoy!
Trade a warm feeling, return a smile,
Rids everyone of at least some bile.
Together, we overcome trouble,
Synergy! Life expanded, unconfined by the bubble!
Purim practices include:
Mishloach Manos; Friendly giving gifts of food,
Booing Haman; Rejoicing in justice coming to a bad dude,
Related in reading aloud the Megillah, a group "Thrillah",
Purim Seuda; a common meal festively "Imbues Yah",
Matanos Leveyonim; gifts to the needy do truly cure,
Giving does more to the giver as to the poor!
Adar, name of the month, a "Roller Coaster" journey,
When Spring, time of green health inspires, "Arise from your gurney! "
Assuming Disguises; In Adar, nothing is what it seems,
7th Adar, Moses born & died, joy & grief in reams,
Even in Persia, Esther becomes Queen, a saving surprise,
Ailments? In Purim lies a cure! Mirth & birth reprise!

Fanatics in feigned fury forced fellow fools for fait accompli
Laying lies as labyrinth loyally to murdering Lord,
Haggard Haters in hounding habits and hypocrisy as honor hunched,
Bearded Blackguard blazes bright sword amongst blinded buffoons,
Jabber with Jackknife judging jaundice with Kind “Jihads”,
Happy to hack the Innocent whose life they cannot save,
For the foolishness and orderings of an epileptic and adulterous protagonist,
Ten times in ten holes for ten years hunted by his guilt in 9/11,
And thoughtless Arabian protects a coward from justice of his acclaimed crime,
As Hitler and Haman hewed wicked gallows sitting as Judges of men,
As Abacha abandon décor following the doctrines of murder in “holy unholy book”
As Mobutu, blazing terror the macabre style
And like Osama Bin Laden,
Another coward fanatic dies running from Justice

Burlesque
A commoner King usurps the crown
Marries a blueblood of royal renown
Drunk as can be, in an imperial mood
Orders the Queen to appear stark nude
Before his commoner friends, no less
She refuses, of course, precipitating a mess
The King has the Queen killed
Then sobers up and isn't too thrilled
At the loss of great beauty
For just doing his duty
To ensure that every man is king of his castle
Not subject to wifely disobedience or hassle
So, he holds a beauty contest, and the girl who won
Won't tell her real name, who she is, where she's from
'Til the day she tells the King that his right-hand man
Is plotting to kill her, her family and all Jews in all lands
Wicked Haman is hanged, and the Jews skirt disaster
The Holiday of Purim's today ~ May we never outlast her
According to Jewish tradition, the Coming of the
Messiah will cancel all Jewish festivals---except Purim.

Narrative
Years and months and days… time
Separate the two
But the oddity of their similar plot
Of what they wanted to do...
“Kill them all, we do not care
Be it right or be it wrong
The draught of blood brought to my lips
Will end in joyous song.
Do not allow my eyes to be cast upon
Such a shameful sight…
Take them all, by neck and wrist
Murder the children in the night
The children and the ones who love them
And everything they touch
Burn it, smash it, it’s unclean;
I do so know this much.
Why then, did God, allow for this
Monstrosity to be born?
Why is there this pathetic race
Here for us to scorn?
And why do we, two faces of evil
Need to hate them so
To feed the fire of lust in our soul
There’s no other passion
That can drive me to go.
So kill them one, kill them all!
And don’t one eye look away!
The splatter of blood, the cry of old
Has already begun to decay.
What will happen to us, I wonder
When our torment is never satisfied
Will we then also, enjoy a doomed fate
When all the Jews have died?”

Peel back the onion tear squeals
coming from a televised live politico lynch rally
See the sound byte rubber duckie

It’s got plenty of Hammedetha hate, swastika love
Bent cross rules

Rabid delirious cold sweat vanilla doubt,

It’s got bundles of blitzkrieg love, Haman hate
Coin bossed tools
