In golden glow did Luna rise
Yet soon she blushed a crimson hue
As shadows in her path did cross
While Luna in her beauty grew

A golden glow through Willow

Butterfly kisses
On sunbeam wishes
As daybreak begins its show
In morning's golden glow
Dragonflies greet
Every blossom they meet
While old owl is hooting goodnight
In the moon's waning light
The bullfrogs are talking
And mama duck is squawking
The bass are splashing
And the otter are dashing
To join nature's choir
For all are inspired
Together in this marsh so mellow
In morning's golden glow
Butter flies and marshes mellow Poetry Contest

There is a golden glow from the sky tonight
Makes the grass bright green and the shadows darker
Sparkles in brown eyes are sheer delight
Humidity makes his skin shine healthily sharper
There is a golden glow from the sky tonight

In summertime, our love is enduring as if gadenias
were floating in the breeze.
In wintertime, our love is fireplace-warm~it tingles!
As icy winds whistle through the trres.
If skies are blue, our love is sheer joy~two people
touching in the sun.
If thunder rolls, our love is calm, we find a refuge in
A cabin, light a candle, our love in airspun.
When spring flowers bloom, our love is bold, like red
petals on the dewiest of roses.
When autumn leaves fall, our love is golden and, oh
how dazzing bright, our noses!
like a tall, sunflowers in sunlight.
From one Valentine's Day till the next Valentine's Day,
our love will continue to grow.
From season to season I love shall love you always!
My one, my only, my Eternal Glow.

Each day the evenings will shorten,
My lawn never got vibrant in my garden.
Life shifts slowly as the sun sets low in the sky,
As summer bids goodbye.
Sunflowers start to hide their faces,
Their vibrant petals are now withdrawn.
No longer basking in the sun's warm embrace,
Their golden glow is now gone.
Morning dew sparkles on the green grass,
A reminder of the fading warmth.
Days grow short, and the air is a morass,
As nature readies for the storm.
Humming mower engines are quite rare,
There is no longer a need for lawn care.
Summer's melody has gone numb,
Now, Autumn's whispers are dumb.
BBQs are packed away for the following year,
Neither sizzling steaks nor burgers on the grill
Gatherings and merriment are unclear,
As summer's flame begins to chill.
After harvest moons, loud crickets crack-clack,
Their symphony begins to wack,
Nights sway calmer, and stars are brighter,
Summer's lilting tune appears to be lighter.
Beaches are vacant schools to replace,
Children's laughter fades away,
Yellow buses claim their place.
As summer ceases it's joyful play.
Lightweight blankets pulled to the chin,
As the nights grow colder and longer,
Bedtime dreams are tucked in,
As summer's grip grows stronger.
The buzzing harbor drones no more,
Boats depart the splintery lakeshore,
The waves now whisper their goodbyes
As September knocks their ways.
Farewell to summer's golden glow,
As autumn's colors start to show,
The world transitions; the seasons sustain,
But Summer's memories will forever remain.

In the density of dark—a tale unfolds.
Where shadows dance and secrets are told,
A candle—golden before my eyes,
Illuminating truths, where darkness lies.
Such a flame, so delicate and bright,
Casting its glow, vanquishing the night,
Flickering with—a touch of grace,
Leaving marks upon my soul's embrace
In the depths of shadows, it does reside.
A beacon of hope—a guide to confide,
A flickering candle, its glow such as gold,
A source of solace—a story to unfold
Within its light—the living goad to dream.
To chase ambitions, to reach extremes,
Beyond the boundaries of reality and reason,
Seeking a place where dreams are not treason.
Praying for something unobtainable,
Yearning for a world—that is fantastical,
Existing within the lie of a reverie,
Where the truth is hidden but the heart foresees.
The Flickering Candle, Golden Glow,
A symbol of hope—in the darkness below,
Shining bright, despite the shadows that bind,
Guiding us forward—with a light so kind
In its flicker—a story is told.
Of dreams that burn within its scold.
Of hopes and fears, intertwined,
In the flickering candle—a world we find
So let us embrace its golden flame.
Let it guide us, despite the pain.
In the darkness—it will show,
A path to follow—a way to grow
With each flicker—a raw chapter begins.
As the candle's golden glow never dims.
In the density of dark, we'll leave our mark.
With dreams that ignite—such a flickering
The skyline shimmers
With golden glow from the east
Gleaming gorgeously

When I was coal you mined my soul
and treasure there you found:
a heart, stone cold, but solid gold,
was buried underground.
So long I hoped and blindly groped
for rescue by the brave;
from skulking fears and sour tears
that haunted my dark cave.
The sifters left my heart bereft
of airy thoughts and dreams;
in all their toil, neglected soil,
but splashed in barren streams.
The dirtied face of my disgrace
you polished with your sleeve;
your zeal above mere heartfelt love
in silken arms we'll weave.
My luster bright in dawning light
forever shall I owe,
to she who dug beneath my shrug
and found the golden glow.
