Premium Member As Days Go By

Inspired by Opeth – The Drapery Falls and this entire year…

I sip on Super Mario Brothers hot cocoa cup
Filled with convictions’ drop
From streams of consciousness

Ready to skinny dip into a new plateau

No
Holds
Barred

Ferocity’s grip
Looking upon God’s yesterdays
As He hands me a pen
Asking me what I have learned

…

As days have passed

I slow dance with convex mirrors within glasshouse.

Remedies to my confusion
Thrusting me back to the day

A befriending of cotton candy souls
As we ride against Ferris Wheels with a song
That should never end

Holding hands through rickety roller coasters
Pulling me downwards
Upwards
Parallel to perpendicular resolutions

The square root to pale ghosts
Staring with onyx want

All of their tainted wishes
Were for brighter days

…

As these days pass

I recollect collective smile upon my spiraled breaths.

There should have been more.
There could have been more.

It’s not too late for early newcomers into my atrium.

But, you better have your ticket in hand.

For I have already tasted the scalding broth of disappointing screams
Overpowered in salted dramatics

Please
Just come as you are

Unfiltered

No plastic surgeries are welcome within these heartbeats.

…

As days go by

I continue to dream of tomorrow’s smile
Placing loudspeakers against silenced seclusions

With ONE MIC
I hail to cathedral sanity

Swimming within my stream of consciousness that few can dive into
Without turning their backs

…

As tomorrow approaches

Who will be the spark in our cherry bombs?

To light jeweled, nocturnal ionospheres within breaths of security
And sincerity coated fingertips

Who I ask?

Speak loud!!!
Speak in unbridled frequencies!!!

Don’t wait for another day to go by…
...without me waking up to your sound again.

Watching the World Go By - Owl Contest

It’s cosy here in the corner of the barn
On hand many mice to eat
Come dawn I open both eyes
Stretch my wing feathers
Flutter a bit
Then gracefully fly through the gap
Left in side of door by caring farmer

That’s my perch
Up there in that tree
I watch the world go by
One eye closed but very aware
Another day, another lazyyyyyyy day
They call me a wise old owl
All seeing, true,
yet observations not requested.
So I sit back and wait
Life is so tiring,
maybe time to close other eye as well.

As the Years Go By

You've taught me how to share;
You've taught me how to love.
You've taught me how to trust in the Lord above.
You've given me a faith;
Beyond all measure.
You sacrificed your needs;
for toys to bring me pleasure.

You've given from your hearts,
You've given from your souls,
and for that I love you both,
more than you'll ever know.

Now it's my turn to be All that you've been.
So, as God would have it, the cycle begins again.
You are now Grandparents;
with a new dimension of Love!
A new little grand baby, given from Heaven Above.
A little one to smile,
A little one to cry,
A little one to hold close to your hearts,
As the years go by.

Premium Member For Those Who Go By His Tentmaker's Rope

For those who go by his tentmaker’s rope

swing from one end to the other
though neither low nor too high
						nothing will pass you by
if you swing not to the end of your tether

Let the tavern-keeper yell
no legs past his dream threshold
will wander before old Khayyam’s knell
accept at last your unwanted vow
no damsel will crash into cleft-stick cuckold
sweep away celibacy
				      	take your heart in tow

Is there talk of yes who may be chosen
what role could your pain fill in bold
letters which you’d rather see in numbers broken

Come away come away from all this quarrel
Let those who wish to be weighed in gold
make much of their worth par rapport
         à l’infidel

Stars Go By

Stars go by in the second of the night

Feelings re trapped by the words we dont write

Weather changes when push comes to shove

Moments are shared but with no heartbeat love

Winds blow and wrestle with the matter

Incomprehensible desire but we always seem to scatter

Tides shift with the moons shifting space

We want to join but we can never find the right place

Stars go by in the second of the night

Feelings re trapped by the words we dont write

The Days Go By, and Still I Think of You

I'm suffocating in my skin
My happiness is wearing thin
Please just let this end
Please just comprehend
That you're hurting me now more then ever before
Oh how can I implore
How much I love you so
How much you'll never know
When you used to hold me in your arms
When you used to wrap me in your charms
Back when it was just you and me
Back when we knew how to be
Those were the days
But now its all so far away

Love is so confusing
And lust is so amusing
Perhaps we will never be happy
Perhaps we'll always think love is sappy

Then again, maybe happiness will come our way
Then again, maybe we'll be together one day
I hope you know that I hate this feeling
Being tormented by one human being
You're all that fills my head
As I lie awake in this empty bed
Oh how I hope to hold you're hand
Oh how I wish life werent so bland
Cause pain is the only thing real
The one thing that can't be concealed

But just know
That seeing you with her kills me so
But no one cares about me anymore
This heart becomes more sore

Waiting for someone to hear me
Waiting for someone to see
That my life is flashing before my eyes
Hoping someone can sympathize
Myself confidence has gone down the drain
Oh, I think I'm going insane
But dont worry about dramatic me
Dont worry about my life of misery
No, dont listen; no, dont care
Dont say that you'll always be there
I know I don't matter to you
I know you dont know what to do

I still dont know what went wrong
I still try to be so strong
But being near you everyday
Has left my heart astray
Our good times fade away
My happy days turn to gray
My heart burns to dust
How could you betray my trust?

If you only knew
All the things that I've been through
You'd understand
You'd comprehend
Why its so hard to survive
Why its so hard to stay alive
Well, goodbye, I'm slipping away
I might not see you after today
So let me leave you with this little piece, these little lines
Maybe you'll understand them in time....

Premium Member I Want To Go By Train

Kicked out of a theater for the twenty-sixth time,
the owner suggested to the highest building in town they should climb.
From there, throw yourselves down to the street.
Their act was considered both putrid and effete.

It was discovered three beautiful women also came.
Hilda, Wilda, and Tilda they were called by name.
These girls didn’t seem to have anything to hide.
In a similar situation, they contemplated suicide.

As all six of them were ready to go,
there was somebody mysteriously playing a piano.
The man playing the instrument was a millionaire.
He often played in isolation in the open rooftop air.

The man thought this sextet had talent that was not bad.
He hired all of them to star in a musical that he had.
However, the stooges and female company once again tasted defeat.
The man was insane and bound for Dr. Dippy’s Retreat.

Based on the Columbia Pictures short subject “Rhythm and Weep” starring the Three Stooges.

As Years Go By

It's now two years that our love has been
but love you more, than i did back then
because every day our love will grow,
as in our veins life's blood does flow
your smile, your charm and your humor,
they all spread like a cancerous tumor
you have given my life a new meaning
and also my heart a brand new feeling
you fill my nights with love and pleasure
and make my days a glorious treasure,
my life with you is totally complete
as firm and solid as Portland concrete
as I love you now, you are my life
and soon, very soon you'll be my wife

Go By Faith

Go by Faith

The future in which the Bible holds

Is relevant to those young and old

Proclaims a tale of blades clashing

Cutting, bleeding, thriving, thrashing

Stories of warriors brave and bold

Fighting those with hearts so cold

A team to rescue those in contempt

Their battle may be eminent

Although their leader, their ruler, their God

Has no battle, no plan, and no work that is flawed

His love prevails

His peace never fails

This war of souls will not be lost

For those who are wicked know the cost

Their forces of evil, wicked, and pain

Will be beat and slain

This may be difficult to comprehend

But not out of proportion

Listen to my words, and seize the day

As the Years Go By

experiences add wear and tear on the human spirit
Responsibility demands one respond to their ability
The game of life becomes risk and reward
Time become more valuable, and no one can afford to waste it

As the years go by
The journey back to self begins after years of childhood conditioning
And programing from society.
There is the desire to heal and question what is real.

As the years go by
You begin to discover what you want instead of catering to the demands of what he, she they want.

To Let Go By Anna Lo P

Why can't it be US?
Why does it have to be US?
We only wanted one's happiness
We just wanted love & belongingness.

Time & place, put us in regress
Worlds apart is our test,
Of life and love, so willing to offer
Because we are different, it is US who suffer.

I want to confess all the love I can give
Myself, my all, more than you can receive
You want to confess a life you can't share
Your life and self, you think is in despair.

Now, we are both in vain and agony
We are doomed in this love & fantasy
How to part ways without US being hurt & lost
The price of love & happiness we pay with so much cost.

Is it time to let go and bid farewell?
Wishing at the end, that we'll both be well
Is it time for us to say our hurtful goodbyes?
Last kiss, last hug, end it only with but a sigh.

I don't want to listen to the drops of rain
Each drop is our weeping, that will cause me pain,
I don't want to let go, I will stay even for a while
Because it's just too hard to say the last goodbye....

The Days Go By So Fast

the days go by so fast
that tomorrow's almost passsed
Too many decisions, to provide your provisions
So
Take a drink cuz quick as a wink, life can be a blink
So
Take each moment like it was your last
Before you know it it'll be passed
So
Don't ya live too fast
Don't ya live too fast

Torch Lake - Years Go By

The cedar dock splinters out to the moon's shine
Like the second hand ticking along
A white-faced clock
Drawing in loose boats and green moths
To its sweep of time

Is there any difference
Between those little dots of cabin lights
Strung like pearls along the shore
Three miles across Torch Lake
And the stars crowded light years away?

Orbs swirling with life in the dark

Even now
We only but understand the skin of the universe
The ripples of a lake
Thin clouds aching like fossils
Under the moon’s archeological search by headlamp

My wife and I at the campfire
Measure distance
By the relief of this quieted July Sunday night
And the passing orbits of the space station

Three cycles
Is the most we’ve ever survived

Depends on how full the cooler is
And how many words we have left to hum and turn

Holding hands as the night whittles away
And the flames lower to a bath of embers
To the tapping Morse code of our bare toes.

Dogs Go By

DOGS GO BY

Dogs go by
Barking their backs
That is water picture in feelings.

People go by,
Jolting their images
That is water picture in knowing ourselves.

Now my thoughts go by
One generation to another
That is the wisdom, knowledge, from one another.

Sucking long, sucking deep
I node once and again, on and on
Leave our difficulties, later on_
Take them in sharing; deep
That is love from God, unity before one another.
