Best Gains Poems
Good old ageing inevitably involves loss
Affecting our faculties
Varied for each individual
Different losses ,different degrees
Frustrating and difficult it is
A struggle at times to say the least
Adjusting and learning to cope with
“Life’s old age beast”
Along with losses there are personal gains
We individually accrue
The greatest blessing age has gifted me
Is absolute appreciation and gratitude!

Verse
The light you have filled my heart
Now you've left and we're apart
I wonder and wish every day
To hopefully one day see you again
To hold you tight and smell your scent
I wish for you to be in sight
But for now you have to fly
You gained your wings and soar so high
I loved your presence and your crooked smile
I loved your warmth and glowing aura
Sometimes I see your face in my own little boy
The grief strikes me at random times
Now you've gained your wings and learned to fly
I miss your laugh your love your spirit
But I know your always with me in energy and life
I know your watching down on me
I know one day we will be reunited once more
Once I gain my angel wings
We can fly high until dawn rings
Fly high my angel your always in my heart and soul
Now it's time for me to go my beautiful angel boy ***

Heavy storms
are throwing forests
to the surface of the ground
for millions of swedish crowns
but they do not earn
a single cent on this timber
which is lying
on the ground.

Little Miss Sure Shot Gains A Namesake
Rhinestones and rawhide
Prancing horses and the dream
Of the Old Wild West;
Dazzling the Old World crowd:
6 shots through a card tossed in the air,
Ash shot off the Kaiser's cigarette -
These things made the old, defeated Chief smile;
"Little Miss Sure Shot" wowed the rubes and the Crowned Heads
Alike.
Thus the spangled life of Phoebe Ann Moses,
Ohioan farmgirl,
Winner of a Thanksgiving shooting competition.
She took her gift
And rode it into History;
The common clay of her
Molded itself into myth.
As may we all,
If we find our gift -
Shaping it with faithful patience
Breathing a bit of our souls into it,
Becoming Mythic,
If only to our inner eyes.
And the myths sometimes come back around,
Wandering, unsettled spirits that they are;
To return as memories, dreams or namesakes.
Somewhere in the skies,
Riding a silver steed
The likes of which she could've never imagined,
The namesake meets a woman
Who lands him before they land,
As neat a trick as nailing
That falling, flipping card.
Her aim true as ever.
The ghost crowd roars,
The rhinestones blaze,
The old Chief smiles -
"Little Miss Sure Shot" hits her mark again!

Anxiety ridden and broken down;
I back out of the deal and I cash in my hand-
All before I even know the stakes.
Or the taste of your sweat.
I watched your body hit the ground;
I watched your chest heave its last breath.
Now again, I try to reach for that same fallen star-
Forever waiting to hear a final cry.
That scream of discontent;
That sigh of malediction or lack of repent.
It is all the same to me
When I forget to breath.
It is all the same to me
When your hands strengthen around my neck.
Believe what you will about my ill-gotten gains;
It is my glory, my payment for sins and mine to spend.
I dash about in a great hurry to go nowhere
And now and then,
I stop and I look anxiously around for you.
Hoping you will soothe my battered soul,
Forgive the sins I scatter recklessly about.

Last night i had a dream, in the dream all of my closest friends were there with me waiting for him.
An old friend who everyone missed. The door opened and he stood there with no expression on his face. Silence was cast throughout the room like a ghost not seen but noticed, until the close friends attacked him. Not violently but happily with joyous laughs and fun. Everyone and thing disintegrates into black and two large drapes fell from my view and i was in my room. I found my awareness, and realized the old friend was never coming through that door. As my thoughts diminished i say to myself, goodbye.

A dark night of suffering and sorrow
is often the bridge to a bright tomorrow.
God is not blind to our toughest tears;
He knows our fondest flaws and fears.
The valleys are filled with gruesome ills,
lift your heart and eyes to the holy hills...
Great healing and help are on the way,
Wipe away your tears, watch and pray.
With faith, dead bones will live again...
See the greater good in this present pain.

Ill -gotten Gains
False premise
Path falsely taken
Road stolen by feet
Not meant to roam
The road ahead
Came to bit in the ass
Plans obtained by false
Appearances of many years
Of falsehoods portrayed
An I'll fated attempt at
Trying to impress another
Who never truly gave a ****

Love Lost Gains
Love fading, bestows a warranted fear,
Vanity shades it from our notice.
Emotions obscured shall become barred from the shadows,
Pain eclipsed by ego, remains naked to the soul,
The passion of love, the familiar touch, two as one become hollow,
These feelings still breathing within us in time will be undone.
Moments are borrowed, to become whispers of memories we polish,
To be distorted and tainted with tears,
What is lost cannot be measured in years,
Redemption the wish, we are powerless to find.
Leaving a residue of the unrequited.
The truth is exposed with difficult acceptance.
What has departed is no longer near nor dear.
That which is built upon hearts can be sadly filtered away.
That which is built within hearts is precious and there to stay.
Hearts unchanged? No, Its times mending way,
Hearts unbroken? Yes.. Its times nurturing way
More enduring hearts are we now,
Not because we abandon what once surrounded hearts,
But from the days we shared what was within hearts.
Empty must we become, so that we may be filled once over again,
In the corners of the heart, Sunshine with Rain,
Oxymoronic? Is Love not the same?
Love another? No, never in the same,
Love another? Yes, there is wisdom and beauty with no blame.
Within forgiveness love lost, gains.

Soon the thymus is lost,
ok, no nonsense,
everything as...
Worse is to lose the sense, the grace
to be a boy...!?
It's not lethal, losing the gourd...
but the spleen... not that
you can lose!
Lose your loving heart,
It's sad, very sad, almost
mortal... but the heart
lost physique, is fatal,
it's fatal...
Lose your cool, calmly
sometimes you can...
But losing your soul... that
no angel helps...!

Pain puzzles poise
Nude naughty noise
Seize sensuous strains
Prime petty pain
Loud laughter leaps
Glimpse gaudy grip
Set sanguine smile
Plot pretty pile
Nurture nice nay
Please pretty play
Dream dazzling dance
Chase crazy chance
Mind movement makes
Touch tricky take
Claim crazy choice
Vouch vileness voice
Dance dreamy day
Stretch swirling stay
Hurl happy heart
Sweet sparkling start
Pain pricks profound
Poignant pain pounds
Words wander well
Time truly tells

I've hidden in too many shadows,
Of darkness and fear.
Where time loses meaning,
Going on, year to year.
If I am to move forward,
And change how I have lived.
Can I still grasp my roots,
Even those nourished as a kid?
This growth causes choice moments,
As balance is sought to maintain.
So that decisions are weighed carefully,
And I don't destroy what I may gain.
When approaching these roads,
Realizing trust is the key.
My faith and my wisdom,
Will provide answers to see.
