Best Fourth Of July Poems
Fourth of July, Independence Day for the United States, and
On the news political speeches praising the nations heritage, then
Reading of the declaration in deep proud voices and joyful singing.
The country will celebrate with parades and fireworks and ceremonies,
Hanging the flag outside their homes and having picnics with streamers.
On army bases there will be a salute of one gun shot for each state, and
From radios and TV the most popular song will be The Star Spangled Banner.
Jumping children with balloons red, white, blue floating, and
Under tents the barbecues will be cooking those big ball park dogs.
Love of the nation will be on every lip and in every single heart, then
Years of patriotic events will be re-enacted outside in a show of national pride.

This 4th Of July
To my fellow Americans,
during this 4th of July.
I have a thought.. . Here's why…
When we salute our flag
ever so grand.
Our country's foundation
is sinking in "quicksand."
This is because. From God...
We're way "off course."
Driven by lust, greed
and an "immorality force ."
Our ungodly government
continues to rule.
Anything of God has been
removed from the school.
We hear of "separation of
church and state."
Anything of God...
Many people seem to hate!
America! Listen to what
this message is about!
Everything of God is
slowly being taken out!
We must return to Jesus!...
He gives true freedom indeed!.
The truth word of God’s .
Our country must read!
Living for God is worth the cost!
Without HIM...
America is forever lost!
By Jim Pemberton
Founding fathers believed in freedom of the press, religion, speech, assembly, and petition.
Opportunity must be opened to all.
United we stand and divided we fall.
Religious establishment by the government is prohibited.
Trial by jury is a constitutional right; taxation without representation is not.
High crimes and misdemeanors by the president are impeachable offenses.
Oligarchies(Rulership by 'the few') in America must never be allowed.
Freedom is not really free; it always cost us something.
Justice delayed is justice denied.*
Union of 50 states makes up The USA.
Liberty and Justice in America are for all.
Yielding to the will of the majority is the American way.

Fourth of July, time for fireworks and fun,
Our nations birthday, we'll all celebrate.
Uncle Sam is the man of the hour on this date
Reaffirming our values and food by the ton.
Two Hundred and thirty-nine years old today,
Hang out the colors, the red, white blue.
Our Emblem of Glory, the tried and the true
Freedom awaits those who come the right way.
Just as brave and as loyal as our fathers before,
Uniting to honor the flag passing by,
Laughing while watching starbursts in the sky,
Young and old showing love for country once more.

F-orget not those who sacrificed that we might enjoy this special day.
O-ur cherished freedoms we owe to them who in hallowed sepulchers lay.
U-ndulating o'er this blessed nation the Grand Old Flag does yet wave.
R-esolute Founding Fathers and ordinary men so very true and brave,
T-ook extraordinary actions to liberate us from tyranny and oppression.
H-ereafter, may each generation be free to celebrate without suppression.
O-ver all the nation this day folks will celebrate with picnic and parade;
F-ireworks will thrill and boring speeches by politicians will be made.
J-ubilation should ring from towns large and small from shore to shore,
U-ntil the sound of liberty resonates about the globe with a resounding roar!
L-et true patriotism reign not only on this day but all others that ensue!
Y-eehaa! Yippee! Yahoo! Yea! Happy Fourth of July to every one of you!
Fine Fourth of July
Fine Fourth of July
Another one has passed by
Thanks to our soldiers.
Fourth of July..
Dead bodies, a cry
People must come back home soon…
Enough with the war!
To all of those brave men who will never be home to celebrate our Independence
day this weekend, and the years to come!
Thoubert!
Great start for weekend
four game sweep of the Blue Jays
Red Sox's streak begins
For many years this day was one
Of my favorite times of having fun.
Until this date in Sixty-two
Ripped into my heart, cut it in two.
To leave it shredded for evermore.
He would never again come through the door.
Oh how we cried, the children and I,
Father was gone, too young to die.
Just as we were planning fun by the ton,
Urgent phone call and all was done.
Love was forever snatched away.
Years have gone by, it still hurts today.

Symbol of freedom
When stars and stripes proudly wave
God bless the U.S.
Freedom of choice
Or think without hindrance
Under one flag of glory and pride
Red, white, and blue which we honor and serve
That stands for
Hope and justice for all
One Nation under God
Firmly holding our values
Justice and perseverance
Upon dreams of beliefs and values
Living in this country of ours
Yielding equality

We clad ourselves in colors as we march,
saluting independence through a foggy dream;
gazing at the night alight with flashes,
sparkles,
and firefly screams.
Rockets made in China, cascade/
to the backdrop of the Star Spangled Banner;
a flutter to the wind blown flags made in Brazil
and "I Love America Pins" upon our lapel;
(made in Mexico).
We stand on oceanfront (it’s owned by France)
gazing ‘pon the open sea,
the port is owned by Saudis/
but at least we stand here free.
Our hands steadfast upon our chest,
saluting whichever freedoms still remain,
those freedoms, their going fast;
and they’ll disappear one day.
We gaze into the abyss of night,
the twinkling tears that kiss our cheek,
immersing ourselves in awe of moment,
before it fades our dreams to sleep.
We stand enamored with this land,
the love that lurks within our hearts,
we celebrate this love/
...in part;
fore tomorrow, standing is banned.
multicolored sparks
dwindling across the unfilled sky...
bright smoke you ignite

The fireworks exploding behind our closed eyes,
They come to life with the spark from our lips.
We open our eyes and sway back and forth,
Looking at each other as if we will be there forever.
We pull in close and embrace.
