I'Ll Be Your Joker

7/20/19

"I'll be your Joker"

Still a registered voter
Signed up to be an organ donor
And finally became a car owner

I rarely use a controller
When it's time, I'll man up and buy a stroller
As well as panels that are solar
Near and far from areas that are polar

Doesn't matter if I ever get a Range Rover
Or Roadster

I'm barely ever sober
Always been a loner
And stoner

3 months away from another October
If you want to be my Harley Quinn, I'll be your "Joker"
Not no poser

Where are you Scully? This is agent Mulder
Anytime you want, I'll be your shoulder
To lean on
From here to way beyond
For eons

Where's my Marge? I am Homer
I'll be your rock over and over
Since I've gotten nobler

They say beauty is in the eye of the beholder
I've seen it so much, I could compile a folder
Life's one giant rollercoaster
It's really revving my motor
All these women giving me a b***r
And then the cold shoulder
As if I am an ogre
I remain a soldier
Drinking high end coffee, no more Folgers
Getting wiser and older
Becoming bolder
As the world gets colder
I'm not feeling dolor
Just multi tasking, while a fire continues to smoulder

Maintaining my composure
Finding closure
Getting closer
To greatness instead of being mediocre

I enjoyed the work I did with several growers
As well as trapping some gophers

Occasionally I'll partake in poker
Even though I'm not the best hoaxer

Once or twice I used a fire stoker

When it came to Mary Jane, I was a doter
A fan of it's fragrance, it's not what I'd call an odor

I consume some products made by Clover
And am usually in places considered remoter

It's time I get a toaster and holster
I don't really need a Flame Thrower
Or to get my face on a most wanted poster

Suit yourself if you want to wear a boater
Or choker

Houses in continual foreclosure

Not always wise to go for the price that is lower
Someday my mind and body will be slower
And one day it'll all be over

10-4 over and out
And now you know, what i'm really about
Not just by word of mouth
As they say don't look a gift horse in the mouth
Regardless of if you had your doubts

I Prefer a Little Water With My Tea

Head straight to the coffee pot after I pee
What happened this morning? Good god mercy me
Empty Folgers can
Was I pissed? Yes ma’am
(Four extra-large bags make a fine cup ‘o tea)

Cruel and Unusual Punishment

Loving you is cruel and unusual punishment.

When I met you, I should have started running to a tent.

I simply can't handle it. This is cruel and unusual punishment.

You dropped the bomb on me and I cannot pick up the pieces.

Your love to me was like Red Hots covered in Reese's Pieces.

After I got the sweet peanut buttery treat then the mouth

Of the river of my love got hot from the other layer that

Tastes and feels like the cinnamony Red Hots. It's no longer

Like Folgers it feels good to the last drop but I don't want it

And it want to stop. I feel like calling the cops because loving

You is a crime and it's taking too much time to end this

Love it's cruel and unusual punishment.

Caffeine

Chemically: crystalline carbon compound
Commonly consumed as coffee, Coke
Choices? Consider chocolate
Craziness careens corners

Attitude and attention adjuster
Autumn afternoon activator
Accelerated activities
Ask another altruistic answerable

Fathoming fatherhood
Folgers: fresh or frozen
Foolish frolicking
Fickle frazzled frog

Favorite flavor?
French fanilla (fun!)
Famous for flying
Fan for “FREEDOM!!”

Endurance enhancer
E’erlasting elixir
Endocrine epoxic effects
Essayist endorser

I, internal igniter
Interestingly included
In iced infusions
Imagine: ignorance imploded

Nosy noisy neighbors
Night-time ne’er-ender
Negative nightmares…
Nice neanderthal!

Everyone’s elated
Elliptical epiphany!
Elephants eat evergreens!
Ellipsis

Mind of a Graffiti Artist

now in his mind there are many gears
rusty but funtional.

they meter out the letters and create words
that may even form a Structure from time
 to time.

iron oxide filled metallic brown bullfrogs
line up along the inside of his head.

synonymous with repetative lauguage but
they prove to be
good fishermen with poles made of
wrenches
 and lines anchored with decayed
 bolts and strange adverbs.

sometimes the rust flakes off his toungue
and
you can almost hear @#$% this not again.

but he is steadied by a cup of folgers dry
roast in a white styrofoam cup.

he is comforted by the fact that the world
has
 coffee filled styrofoam cups.

this world cannot get by on mere
 loaves and fishs he thinks...

now the lines have become to heavy and
 grandiose they are ready to....

 snap..
    fall apart...
           come undone...

perhaps the malaria has set in again he
got it from a metallic
mosquito with the head of a syringe in
juarez mexico.

 in his delerium..
   beside his delerium..
      underneath his delerium...

 he deconstructs ancient alphabets..

      english..
          greek...
              aramaic...
                 phoenician ....
                       cuniform. .. UnTil.. aLL.. T.hat

he feels it is enough for now and grabs
the spray bottle...

Coffee

A strong blend I crave , the scent of French roast , or Italian is euphoric
It's the first thing I think of in the morning as I awake .

I admit the addiction , but I will never stop
It's not booze or drugs , that I am to conquer

It's the smell of the fresh grind and the drip
Honestly , nothing as good as the 1st sip

Mine with cream , no sugar
if I were in a storm though , in a savored minute
never a complaint , If some one kind enough
gave a cup of Folgers, black , even if given a pack instant

So this is a tip for all the Red Cross and United Nations .
Take the money given for suffering through natures doing
Buy the best of coffee and keep fresh pots brewing .

Way of the World Part Two

everybody out for self
young kids in the pen facing death
and still got milk on his breath

first case that hit em he a victim
court appointed lawyer
b.s him got him in the system

and these preteens get more c.r.e.a.m than folgers
in high school they high rollers
all ways strapped like soldiers

I got to deal with mean mugs
the c.r.e.a.m from drugs
the screams and blood
the scene of fiends and thugs

cop cars, yellow tape, chalked outlines
teardrops from the crying
but that don't stop the dyeing

trying to get mines without getting got
hit me im hitting back
I was told to shoot or you getting shot

and peace a'int two fingers spreaded it's the steel in your palms
threaten to squeeze enemies remain calm

but there is no way in the world to beat the way of the world
I get drunk and I earl and get in fights with my girl

Spring Morning

Refreshing scent of dew upon the grass,
Warm and humid as the sun is rising,
Songbirds singing melodies of morning,
Beautiful blooms upon the garden bed.

Invigorating drafts of Folgers in the air,
Comfy covers keeping sleepers warm,
Dawn passing soft welcome through the home,
Sleepy eyes awakening once again.

To live this spring morning.

Let It Be, Without Meaning

I passed a house in a darkened space
A number flew before my face
I saw an elephant on a car
A man with an "L" shaped scar

I found a baby lying upside down
Bugs and spiders eating together on the ground
A plane bounced on barn roof
A horse limped with a wagon attached to its hoof

...I'm weird

Voices are shrill and thick in my ear
A presence of evil is drawing near
A little girl is skipping rope on the lawn
A bear growled loudly, then was gone

A Ferris wheel rolls round and round
A kitten in a pool is trying not to drown
The highway of silver lines the barren land
A crowd watches the marching band

...I'm not relevant

Emerald green uniforms hug the armed soldiers
Blood red balloons celebrate the drinkers of Folgers
Baby blue shoes enfold the new tiny feet
Pink poppies line the banks of the creek

Fifty four houses all in a row
Ninety eight graves create a flow
Sixteen schools of thought on life
One hundred and one ideals of combating strife

...How shall I mean???

Note: What is life without meaning? What would happen if we allowed circumstances, places, people, events to be what they are, where they are without assigning "meaning?" I believe we would experience life anew, fresh, every moment of every day, and that kind of life is worth living :)

Premium Member Coffee and Toddlers and Tennis

Tennis on the television.
Heinous sneezes from my toddler.
Lettuce bits sprayed across our laps.
Menace to society's Joe the Waddler,

Arriving at the war zone toy room,
Deriving future campaigns in his mind.
Writhing within the haze of colored plastic he's
Diving into Roman ruins, covered in shiny blocks, laying supine.

In walks the 5-year-old
And our most decorated of soldiers.
Endowed with the wisdom to sleep in, she's now
Entwined with Daddy, smelling of warm bed and Folgers.

Premium Member Easily Distracted

Is it that time gets away from me
Or that every second has its own story to tell
And that my circuits get overloaded at times?
In truth, some seconds are astounding:
Like when the illegal 'Dragon's Claws' I bought
From a firework's stand on the Kansas-Oklahoma border,
Gutted a traditional Folgers coffee can,
(It never left the ground) , and then its brother
Blasted a heavy metal water bucket
At least 40 feet into the air!

Wow! Talk about 'poetry in motion! '
Most theorists are poets too you know,
With their 'Big Bang' theories and
'Laws of Nature' emerging over time!
Eventually, we all have to deal with
What some distant poet first called 'the opposite sex! '
But it is so much easier to explain Creation I think!

But can anyone say why men love explosions?

'Beautiful' was Barbara Frees
'Beautiful' was being kids
was that Folgers can of crayolas
how she colored the black horse -
'Beautiful' like her hair
not a line not a thread spilling over
'Wonderful' that she liked me so much
'Wonderful' how quietly thoughtful
    how dainty how proper
'Beautiful' that day how she cried
how she looked when she cried
        mother back in town
            visit over

Then years later
I saw her at school
Saw her on the stairs

'Beautiful' and more than any girl there
    and still more -
'Beautiful' how she noticed me waved smiled
'Beautiful' such a wonderful memory survived

Premium Member Jingle Bell Rock Parody

Single cell, single cell, single cell lock
Single cells king and single cells bring
Throwin' and blowin' few pushers of some
Now the single chop has begun
Single cell, single cell, single cell lock
Single cells mime is a single cells crime
Family Charles Manson Electrical Chair
With the Folgers there
What a bright time, gettin' brighter time
To light them right away
Single cell time is a swell time
To go die-in' in a gun force play
Pretty-up Twinkie source, beefed up you cheat
Tinkle on all the locks
Fixed and single and sweet in defeat
That's the single cell mock
