Firing Squad

Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might

You see a word and take sail as doubt and understanding foretell
A heartfelt message meant to destroy all that behold
Look here!
Crush the thoughts that bind you
The past that releases shards….murders of ravens
Pecking infidelity into your weakened visions
Forcing you to turn the other way and not listen
NOT listen
To the sounds of vibrant declaration driven from the blood of the lost
To the taste of defeat lathered in pride for the slowly dying sun
To the pinch of the skin upon the tethered limbs
Squeezing the wrists holding the ink
Releasing…releasing
The very blood that drives it!
That mind—how burdensome to the mass!
Crawling about for purpose
Searching—the best for last!
Firing squad!

Gone—

Sniveling snobs of insipient tact—obsessed with some artillery pact
Marveling at what sophisticated solidity can do to drive down a life
Move a herd of scared animals across a wasteland desired
Bile like the water source held back for the more important
Sniveling sad, chauvinist snouts tracing the secular age of rot
Eating everything they got
Wishing for what the sad ones hold on to
The only thing that keeps that eye dry
Take it away and words go awry
In chaotic monotony
Barging in matrimony
Forcing the impaired to repair
Kindling a fire already put out by your thoughtless glare
Curse this burdensome mind of the masses!
Curse the unpainted lines that omit from my very lips!
As I read every scourging fire bolt out
All one sees is the words protruding out
From a heart so bitter by bitter alone
Trusting in the meter, the rhyme, the tone!
I left the earth too far to return!
Fresh! Lowly, but fresh!
Immanent in high regard TO THE OPPRESSED

Take it away
Right now—see here…look here
Run into the light where one shadow casts an intent, lowly eye
Into the very heart of the storm, the words fall with might

A burdened firing squad faced a mirror
And shot blindly
Through fear

Amidst the Firing Rain, a Blaze the Sun

Breathing the air of a fallen cloud,
The dust got stuck in the back of her throat,
Adelaine, whence have you come?
High up above from the stratosphere,
I saw you like a tear in the open sky,
Fiery clawed swipes of desperation,
Of trying to hold on,
Like a streaking comet, you crashed down.

Wasn’t the taste of Love’s sweet incense, rich enough to savour?
Wasn’t seventh heaven appealing enough?
Couldn’t the heaven’s pulchritudinous grandeur transfix your senses?
No, your wings were too heavy to hold you up,
Guess you flew too close to the sun and your wings got scorched
You burned out in the morning sun,
And though the atmosphere tried accommodating your love,
It got tangled with your anaphylactic sentiments and affection,
That you emitted.

Ronan, where were you?
Guess your supernatural powers eluded you,
No power of strength or adrenaline left coursing through your veins,
You mummified the superman that ones swept her away,
She plummeted to the arms of gravity,
She found comfort in the hands of a narcissistic bastard,
He crushed her soul, broke her trust in Love.

Mrs Adelaine died a heartless death,
Her beating phoenix heart, couldn’t revive its putter,
The sputtering of her last breath caught in her wind pipe,
The breath that couldn’t be savoured,
A feeling that would never see the light of day,
A light that would slowly lose its focus,
on a long lost Love.

Premium Member A Firing

As your immediate boss and superior
It behoves me to have to inform you
Your services are no longer required
A formal letter of termination will ensue!

It has nothing to do with performance
You've really done an admirable job
Believe me, I've tried hard to ignore them
The rumours from everyone's gob!

You've stepped over the line, my friend
With this affair that has people talking
Each time you walk through the office
Sure you've noticed people gawking

I've tried really hard to turn a blind eye
And attempted to keep it hush hush
But now I just can't ignore it anymore
I'm beginning to turn into a lush!

Normally it's not a reason for dismissal
But you've caused me to endure such strife
That I must consider this a special case
Coz the partner in this affair is my wife!

Perched At a Firing Sight

The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And pebbles salute
Converged in a cannon of salutation
Swift & smooth & sharp!
Bowing near her golden wings
All the pebbles greet
Adoring the blackness of her beauty
Luring her in vain
Into a home-dance at the village square!

The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And winds of terror blow
Blowing everywhere
Among forest paths & homesteads
Unbeaten by protest-clouds
Here in the sky –
The hunter’s sling aims in vain
Her feathered bosom
Drawing away the eaglets.

The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And stones in a hurry fly
Over fawning protective leaves & branches
More stones parachuted by hopes
Of spoils & clannish fame!
O eagle seated on the hunters’ disunity!
Rejoicing in the eternal silences
Enthroned in a nest of beauty
Carved like a marbled soul of immortality.

The eagle is perched at a firing sight!
And pebbles salute
Veering in a common confusion –
Should she fly safely away
Then hunters & their folks
Could sigh for another decade
Of her willful dictatorship –
And more stones could greet
Swift & smooth & sharp!

Firing Squad

i feel the darkness surround me,
i know what fate lies ahead,
i sense the fear take over me,
i know i will soon be dead,

i hear the ground beneath me,
i know i must face my end,
i sense the guns select me,
their bullets my only friend,

the darkness is drawn from me,
and the light forced in my face,
i see the rifles before me,
my body now frozen in space,

i see my life spread out before me,
i see my oncoming end,
i hear the triggers pulled for me,
a bullet, the message they send,

i felt the darkness surround me,
their sights locked to my head,
i no longer have fear inside me,
my body now lies dead.

Soul, Where Art Thy

Soul, Soul, where art thee?

I lie sleepeth, in the halls of
the underworld, as my spirit
roam freely, reincarnating
as different beings, going
in and out of existence.

When the flower of life,
gives life, my soul awakens
from a deep rooted sleep.
As I travel down the vine,
matter begins to shape
and mold me, as
a body awaits for my return.

Bright lights is all I can see,
speaking to myself, where art thy?
So many unfamiliar faces.
I instantly knew, my
pureness will become perverted.

As my soul, grew within this body,
so, did an ego.
It hijacked my soul and bound it.
I became a doublemint twin.
Light and darkness,
which grew, a duality, a form
and an emotional side
of me. Unable to balance
the equilibrium, darkness
became the master
over my emotions.

The uncharted side of me
wept in sorrows, while
the egotistical side of me
relished every moment of it.

As I wept, more and more
of me became,
revealed to me, which
was my true self in light form.
Radiating, faster than
the atoms that were firing
within my own brain.

Erupting, flaming, kindling
is what sparked my emotions
to weigh the scales of my freedom,
as my emotions became motion
it dissipated into one,
amalgamating with the ether.

The Beach Firing Squad

And the old women trundle out along the beach,
their snacks and drinks for sale, swinging like rifles
from their sore, wooden shoulders;

and others; younger and pretty, do the same,
eager to learn… to make a little money

and they joke when they see me watching ;
and stealing a smile, they throw me a potent
warning, saying, ”no money, no honey,”
and gently swing their brown hips away;

and the old women, lining up firing squad like,
aim their high-caliber disapproval; winging
my bruised ego:

so, hurt; I retreat to the bar, and tell my friends
how crazy women are; and they feign sympathy,
knowing I ‘m a wounded old fool.

Firing Off

In the heat of passion. The words are fired off.
Spewing them randomly, with indifference and feeling
Spiritually bitten, with venom induced systemically
Spouting hatred has done them in, firing off yet again.

Randomly spewing with indifference, and feeling
Angry on this land, they spoke this language
Firing off. Yet again has spouting hatred done them in?
The ship began to sink, it was just then too late,

Randomly spewing with indifference, and feeling?
Spiritually bitten with venom. Induced systemically,
It was just too late then. The ship began to sink.
In the heat of passion. The words are fired off.

Without Firing A Shot
Miracle Man

Our country has fought both conflicts and wars,
now Illegals are flocking to our borders by the scores.
We’re being invaded because a wall wasn’t finished,
Others eat a free lunch as our goods are diminished.

We’re losing our great county without firing a shot,
and someday we’ll subsist in a state of distraught.
While progressive socialists are furthering their docket,
Their hands plunge deeper into Uncle Sam’s pocket.

Those desiring to come should try waiting their turn,
and for our way of life show abundant concern.
Don’t come here searching for life rooted in crime,
trying to hustle a living on another mans dime.

Firing Desire

Enduring love, an effervescing flame,
Through the open air, we transpire as one.
For all darkness could not, our light, reclaim,
Nor quell our longing, pervading passion.

As our wild love stirs and intensifies,
A wisp of smoke, gives a blissful ascent,
For our great love soars beyond the vast skies -
Quenching desires full of merriment.

Embers suspended in angelic pose,
Giving light that emanates our course.
Slowly flickering, to our ventured close -
Exit, fading to our once begun force.

Leaving, subdued tinder flame aspiring,
Their amorous souls once more are firing.
