Premium Member Eternal Life and the Total Self

Life is but a fleeting whisper echoing through time,
never dying, always being- magnificent and sublime.
The body's a receptacle, a superficial shell,
but in it dwells the gift of Soul; eternity knows it well.

The Soul contains the truths of life,
to all that's ever been;
to all things now, and yet to come,
but guards them deep within.

The mind has hidden doors to Soul; we long to find the key,
unleash the vision waiting there, that lives eternally.
And so mind seeks to open wide, grasp firm the light of Soul.
and at that moment when it does, we know we will be whole.

So when we penetrate the shield
that stands between these two,
we will perceive with inner sight-
our Soul, complete and new.

If in this life, we cannot grasp this bond of Soul and mind,
we'll be reborn to live again, till total self we find.
We've been before, so many times; we've known many a past.
We'll be again- an echo in time, till mind and Soul are fast.

And when that final day does come,
at last to lift our Soul,
for Him to gather in His arms-
our perfect self- now whole.

Some religions, like Hinduism, believe in reincarnation which refines the soul by it living many lifetimes, and after it is perfected, goes back to God. My poem is based on that belief. So many people, including myself, have inner feelings or momentary flashbacks like they have lived before in another life.

Dying, We Awake To Eternal Life.

His fragile fevered brow is soaked with life’s sweat
Nearing the end, his death has not arrived just yet
Shivering, his body is on fire, he makes a gentle sigh
His frame broken down by the years now passed by
The end of the final chapter, his book has grown old
Soon in a faith filled church, his past tales will be told
He’s a person, loved, surrounded by his living history
His family hold one another, parts of his closing story
Go quietly now love, for the time has come to move on
Hush now, your wearied tiredness, is oh so nearly gone
Soon the warmth of living will become so stiff and cold
Leaving this earth’s dusty soil, so as to join an eternal fold
He enters deaths doorway that will close quickly behind
A peace beyond imagination, a kind welcome he will find
Tears flow, fond goodbyes are spoken a kiss of farewell
Do not mourn too long have faith, know he is now well.

Premium Member Watering the Garden of Dreams

taciturn springs rising
from within the quarry
of deep earth's wisdom
urging lyrical waters to transpose
while held like singing seas of living reveries
of history and infinity
misting to meld with rainfall dreams
Falling like ancient messages
into the orchard of molecular landscapes
drawn to penetrate its legacy
embedded in the rockeries and rills
blanketing the groves of dirt and ferns
teeming in the arcadian oasis
feeding feast or famine
flourishing the solicitude of springtime
in spider spun dreams
of longings in ancient oaks
merging with the ebb of shedding sycamores
in salted seas teeming and exalting
the rhetoric of existence
in musing opaque vapors
mingling into pervasive clouds
bleeding life
cached in the creche
of pastoral beginnings
of everlasting eddies
watering the garden of dreams

Eternal Life Will Be Waiting For You

Release your anger and your hate
Stay on the straight and narrow before your final fate
Open up and get all your problems out
Conqueror your fears that’s what its all about

Revel in your existence be good and be true
And eternal life will be waiting for you

Believe in yourself when everyone seems to lack
Because once you’re gone you can never come back
Don’t stress about things that have no meaning at all
Just forget about it and never recall

Revel in your existence be good and be true
And eternal life will be waiting for you

Live like your one breath away from dying
Push yourself to succeed or die trying
Always kiss and make love like it’s the first time
Have faith in God don’t look to the sky for a sign

Revel in your existence be good and be true
And eternal life will be waiting for you

Pray everyday because you never can tell
Always listen to your guardian angel
Its all a test so be ready for the grade
Be good to others and pass and you’ll have it made

COLOURFUL LAMENT

I combed cool waters of your baby blue
crystalline Jewel as you waded waterfall
waves washing my stellar rainbow rays
arching it melted into the warm womb
of transducing tangoing Earth

Her Violet Flame devoured us both
as nectared dewdrops to fuel the fire
our soma swirling into ecstatic orange
oxytocined crane flowers whispering
wisdoms to a hundred yellow butterflies
fluttering and flirting

They circled a sunken Atlantean apex
atop where you ruled anew with Baconian
brown locks surrounded by sirens serving
savoury silver sardines, oolite oyster shells
sang solos as dolphins dived, oceanic mouthed

In Ancient Egypt you followed my runcinate
rulings or indigo sorrow siglums, sighing
becoming slimmed seeker who served
Thoth well whilst wreathing my wounded
worthiness and fallow fallopian tubes
at pyramidal plumed midnight hour

In our Grecian lifetime you draped alabaster
urns lighting my marble mantelpiece
I watched breath enter your nebulae nostrils
as you crafted provincial proverbs instructing
slaves to whiten your garb with lemons from
our sculpted garden

On lavender Celtic hills we exchanged kilts
not knowing whose waist was whose
barefoot we flaunted sleek sharp sapphire
studded swords dancing necessary wild wars

Who remembered and who forgot
where in ether our nestling niche napped
as games of betrayal, fear or doubt
doubled into involuting circles and spirals
each tried to neck THE VOID as naked
excuse for not excavating heaving Heart

How much escaping, escapades, evolutionary
clocks cloak our cusps or cues or custard
synchronicities
how many summer summit starlings must
seek to sing of sorrow or of wolves, withering
willows, watermelons on this Planet of
coloured curriculums
holding dear our distinctive designs where
lacy lament is but another aperture into Space

I seek not to know !

No Manner of -Ites

I am praying for the day,
When all walls will fall away,
And we as sons and daughters,
Will all truly obey.

The commandment to love one another,
Is the great and first commission.
To love God with all our hearts,
Might, mind and strength, our mission.

This is the celestial law abiding,
With no lies or self-deceit in the way.
There must be no inner hiding,
And for all this we must pray.

We all require our one true King.
Only He can sustain and set free,
But to be in his kingdom,
Each one must be at peace.

In this we must have no borders,
No place we cannot go,
For a King to reign in heaven,
There must be every room to grow.

There will be no manner of -ites,
No one will be excluded from their rights.
Each one loved as all are one,
Every moment blessed with pure divine.

Here in these last days, this is our destination,
For as Christ is to come, we are to receive Him.
No one will abide the day, unless we are all together,
In one body, one faith, under one head, forever.

Premium Member Eternal Life, I Know Thee

Eternal life, I know thee
I now see what you are
You've never been a stranger
Or a potion in a jar.

You've been a patient waiter
Ever serving when you're called
Many pass you in the shadows
Never seeing you at all.

Now that I've come to know you
I see you everywhere
The blind can't comprehend
They remain so unaware.

Yet you're more constant than the seasons
Or the setting of the sun
You accommodate the righteous
In the body we're made one.

You're a mystery to the stranger
But a comfort to the wise
Those with knowledge understand
You are the high and treasured prize.

I won't be daunted by the shadow
I'll not bow down to death's false face
Through the dark with horror haunted
It's your spirit I'll embrace.

For the truth is your companion
And has been my closest friend
We met at our good lord's table
Fast friends we'll stay until the end.

Certain battles are still raging
Though the victory is won
The enemy hopes to kill a few more
By the setting of his sun.

I never knew how close you watch us
Waiting for that perfect time
To set and seat and then to feed us
The bread of life, and so; we dine.

Because, Music Is My Eternal Life

Because, music is my eternal life.......

When there is a song about love
then the music does become a soul of my heart
When I hug the melody of music
then I feel the spirit of words, traveling with me
When the voice of music passes in the air
then my ears are listening to its harmony
When I close my eyes and feel the rhythm of its music
then I dream an angel of its music goes around me
Melody is my love and the eternal music is my life
The music has its own story that plays with amazing emotions
and I can hear its beautiful song with touching rhythms
Let it be symphony, classic, jazz or hard rock
but everyone loves music which has only one language
in this universe that has known as Sound of Music.
Anyone who has no interest themselves in music
is nothing but dead bodies on the ground.
Because music is my eternal life.

If I Were To Have Eternal Life

If I were to have eternal life,
To be known as immortal-
I would travel across the lands,
For time is not of the essence.

I would learn all of life's secrets,
Hidden treasures, glorious gems
Which would have been kept from me.
Nothing left in darkness.

No more mysteries to ponder,
As I have eternal life to always wonder.
And then life and her beauty
Would become

Boring.
The multitude of unique sounds, now
Folding into a singular monotonous
Drone... its meaning obscured and lost.

And then I would go from tedious boredom,
To eternal loathing. Deprived of the gift-
Never to experience life's final kiss.
Living is now my deadly art-

An art which all do poorly.
But I... I do it exceptionally well.
Living is now my craft, in which
I in all my genius, refuse to lay down the pen.

I am unwilling to write my last
Chapter, song - the final act.
And so death has been robbed from me,
Eternal life is a prison - a cruel ceaseless infinity.

Eternal Life
Written: by Tom Wright
8-7-2016

Physical death isn’t an end but new beginning,
And future life will be not as some brief spell.
At death, torment awaits those yet sinning,
A just Judge will determine if Heaven or Hell.

It won’t matter, our accomplishments on earth,
And all of our good deeds will be seen as vain.
Unless we’ve experienced a cleansing by rebirth,
And God has conferred a pardon for sin’s stain.

Eternal Life

My life feels so empty
Can't beleive you are gone,
I asked God his reason why
What have I done so wrong.

There were other people
To take to Heaven above,
It didn't have to be you
Your were still full of love.

I know your not in pain
You've gone to a better place,
But you were only forty years old
I want to see your smileing face.

Just one mor chance
To hold you near so tight,
See you laugh and joking
Assuring us your doing alright.

We have shared good times
Even had some rough ones to,
But, we learned to compromise
Seen our problem's through.

Why did you give up
Together we could have fought,
With a possitive outlook
A cure they might have sought.

Now, I'm left with memories
In my heart they will remain,
I know time will ease my mind
Heal the pain just the same.

Although I'm deeply saddened
My life nothing without you,
I know your looking down on us
Oh, my brother, goodbye I Love You.

Granted by faith in the Saviour’s sacrifice

Eternal Life

Eternal life

I’m wandering around thoughts
Nothing matched
Blend no
Joy and sorrow
Comes together
Live on earth’s meaningless
What’s the purpose
To seek eternal life
One says
From where
A temple, Church or Kovil
Thus in our own heart
Ever young soul
