Premium Member A Mother Earth Etc

In the whisper of a moonlight stream I heard her sigh or so I thought,
in the rustle of a mottled deer in oak pine forests I heard her weep or thought I did,
or maybe laugh when flitting brightly over jagged rocks.
Upon the silver tides a figure fitting her description swam or maybe drowned or even vanished in the neon haze.
Earth mother, birth mother, bosom to an infant chain,
whose layered womb pulses to infinity,
whose foetal spark aches
for her many sibling forms to coalesce or come to term.

I sometimes sit and ponder,
What is over yonder.
When I get to yonder,
I sometimes sit and ponder,
As to what is over yonder.

Summer boulder-boots wear my thoughts
Thoughts warmed by winter coat maligned in poison oak
With an indelicate left-breast
Pocket inscription stating the obvious
 “Boys Don’t Cry”
(Simply put and rich in depth, obviously)
All together, together all.
All together one we go
Neurotically traipsing unreceptive asphalt

Summer boulder-boots wear my thoughts
Warmed-Itchy thoughts are spoke-spun thoughts
By a girl…ewww
(And also by the she I’m so unwanted by, obviously)
With an indelicate left-breast and dysfunctional vocal-cords
Who fit me for the boots and gave me the coat
(I paid for the boots)
The receipt for the boots, under the total
Obviously (or incidentally) stated
 “Boys Don’t Cry”
All together, together all.
All together one we go
Neurotically traipsing unreceptive asphalt

Summer boulder-boots wear my thoughts
Dizzy-Swarmed-Bitchy thoughts deplete the air
The air is cosmonaut thin
(Though I suspect thick by astronaut standards)
My lungs protest
With dysfunctional vocal-cords
From an indelicate left-breast that has a flippin’ boot receipt stapled to it

I remove my space helmet to smell the roses

And then
(Quite obviously)
Cry Like It’s
1999

All together, together all.
All together one we go
Neurotically traipsing unreceptive asphalt

Muah!

And Since You Know You Cannot See Yourself Etc: Julius Caesar

QUOTATION
And since you know you cannot see yourself,
so well as by reflection, I, your glass,
will modestly discover to yourself,
that of yourself which you yet know not of. Julius Caesar Act 1

MY POETIC VERSION : …………

As you cannot see what I see
Just like a mirror I will reflect to thee
I will be your mentor and your guide
Taking your hand crossing the thinking tide

I can see hope where failure meets your eyes
Can see the truth behind meaningful lies
The other side of you is in my sight
I offer you the chance to put things right

Fearless i will shout your name
Be your advisor in this living game
Will tell u what to do and when to say
I am your thinking mind this day

Your heart rules your head it must not so
Think which way you wish to go
Is it greatness you want, then you can find
I will be the thoughts in your mind

Mandela Mystique Etc In Africa

I
Madiba, you inspired this world like never before
An African George Washington & Lumumba
Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela of South Africa
Yet crossing borders, bashing down walls
Smiling, beaming, with good words for all

II
Then you said, many blacks were executed
In apartheid South Africa, "No more!"
That opened the gates to crime like never before
Your famed nation leads in many crimes
Against women and children, "high" corruption
This birth date, Madiba, sees your party exposed
Comrades of corruption, no socialists for the greater good
And a feeling of despondency in this great nation
28 years of domination by one party, set to lose
At least the talk on radio (SABC) on the streets
Rest Madiba, you thought the best of us Africans
And yes, we had Luthuli, Dube, Dr. Zuma before you
But you electrified the world like a Savior Desired
The bible says we must love but NOT CAST PEARLS ...

NOTE: I was a Deputy Director in the Dept. Of foreign Affairs ( state Dept equivalent) in the 1990s, and shared a building ( Union Blds with president Mandela. I resigned to return to the USA, when I saw the arrogance of newly enfranchised compatriots. I voted once only, the firs IIt & only time, for Mandela. I never joined any party, not even the then "holy ANC.")

Premium Member Livingston Lowes Phrasis Upon the Seashore Etc- Recited

UPON THE SEASHORE
Off the blue Nantucket
music of laguid hours,emerges
from the labyrinth,delicate
snail-horn perceptions of beauty,
thronging this world of sensible
things.Stirred by majesty,soft
flowing surging impressions
where sea meets sky.Infinite
purples,fragments of rainbow
gleam in the spindrift,sensuous
lively,lovely,many-hued restless
gossamer,abysm of time in a
dancing throng,slow recurrent
the rhythm of the sea, sifting the
illusion upon a seashore.

SOJOURN IN THE EXOTIC
Penetrating imagination,restless
intellect’s perverse ingenuity
and worse, in imperishable
lines eerily luminous corescate
like brilliant pyrotechnics.A wind
that blows aloof,ebbs and flows
of the familiar and the strange.
A picturesque protracted sojourn
in the exotic,a periennial longing
to be what we are not.The paradox
reasserts itself and glamour fades.

Las mascotas del loquero
Fluyendo en boceto

Moldeándose en aros
Hacia sus adentros
Hojas espirales
Cucharas de estanque
Fluyendo en vacío
Parvada de nidos

Mantel extendido
Totalidad
Y triangulados anillos
De taciturnos cajones
A un etcétera bien pulido

From My Journal: Sunset, Etc

:1/09/2001

"I love sunset," you said

I hear hopes
and the whole lot on my dining table
while chewing breakfast
I sing my childhood songs

:31/10/2002

before sun is erased by night hands
my mother turn on all the lamp-eyes
in the kitchen, verandah and guest room
she does really afraid of the past
which is waiting in the dark

:07/06/2003

sunset like orange juice tear from your glass
and the night is its stains in table-cloth

I come here try to find the pieces of glass
that fall crash the white café floor;
glass that ever touch your lips,
glass that ever kiss your lips,

:21/12/2004

sunset enlighten
swallow bird shadow
fall on the sky shadow
in puddle of your tears

on the carpet of sands
no more your shadow
on top of my shadow

:08/04/2005

since sunset o’clock
there is me in waiting room
in my hands pages of a novel
open someone's affairs

night who come late
don’t bring any train
that bring you

:28/11/2006

Mountain of Saraung,
umbrella of a village
sun crawls too hard
come to the windows

on a couple of lover
who is cursed to be a wall-stone
I see there is no sunset

Pre Golden Globes, Oskars, Grammies, Etc

All them famous, very gorgeous
Shining knights and splendid damsels
Some of them in big distress…

Showing dresses, shoes, toxedos
Bow ties and current trends…

All them talking, saying nothing
That pertains to common folk…
Everyday diurnal struggles…

Still amusing and worth watching
Fascinating gorgeous damsels…
Shining knights in bow ties…

A kid starts to whine
When you sit down to dine
In a restaurant costing big money.
Whether he's yours or theirs,
Quite everyone stares
And not one of them thinks it is funny.

Premium Member Resist the Devil and He Shall Flee From You James 4:7-12 Etc

"Resist the devil and he shall flee from you." James 4:7-12***

Part of the Lord's prayer reads," And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil: for thine is the kingdom and the power, and the
glory forever." Mathew 6:13***

But all of those promises are contingent upon our willingness to, "Draw near to God and he will draw near (to us)." "Humble (ourselves) in the sight of the Lord and He will lift (us) up."***

How can we resist the devil? "And it shall come to pass, in the last days, that all who call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." The first part of our resisting the devil is to turn our entire lives over to the Lord Jesus Christ.***

When Jesus was lead into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil for forty days, one of his responses was, "Get thee hence Satan Thou shalt worship the Lord Thy God, and him only shalt only shalt thou serve." Matthew 4:10 ***

We are instructed to "judge not least we be judged." We are not to judge the
breathen, but to admonish him to turn from his wicked ways. And likewise to warn our sisters, in Jesus Christ, to repent of their sins! We are to cleanse ourselves of our double mindedness, and to purify ourselves before God in order to be account worthy of Him! "Cleanse (our hands, us sinners)and our joy will become laments of our wicked ways! If we repent we shall rejoice and sing of the joy of our salvations'!

There is only one law giver and only one judge and we are instructed to not usurp his authority. After all is that not what Lucifer did unto Him? He tried to usurp his authority, as well as his throne. Satan who once was first became the very last! We are not neither speak evil nor judge the law, nor the originator of the law, Jesus Christ!

"Create in (us clean hearts) oh Lord and renew a right spirit (within us cast us not away from your presence nor take not your holy spirit from us.) Restore to us the joy of our salvation and uphold us with your steadfast spirit.")It was an exert of King David's confession for his own sinful ways.

I choose you

Of all the reasons why I love you
Perfect is not one of them
My flaws that you accept so well ,maybe?
No thats not why I love you not at all.
My habits that annoy you sometimes and you still tell me you love me anyway, hmm hmm that's not it either.
I love you because even though I can live without you, I choose to not live without you.
I love you because It's a decision I make everyday without fail.

The Reality of Life

Philip's aunt is not flippant!
 But Adam's aunt is Adamant!

And she is comfortable,

That to do, I should plea?

No wonder, he hates to see me on the couch.

With a nod to Macbeth's three weird sisters...

Midst rats, black cats, and screeching bats,
Cackling crones in pointy hats
Add a rag, a bone, a hank of hair
To a bubbling pot in their witches' lair.
Next a drop of your blood to mix into the stew
As they mutter and moan o'er this most loathsome brew.

Harken well as the hags recite ancient verses
That invoke magic spells and malevolent curses.
An elixir for love, another for fame,
If fortune's your goal, play the witches' game.
If malice or spite for another's your bent,
They've special potions for ladies, and some just for gents.

But be wary, my friends, for I'm telling you true,
When the game is played out, and the bill has come due,
Don't try to renege, and don't be a griper,
If you dance to his music, you must pay the piper.
Pay promptly on time, don't default or denounce,
'cause witches are bit**es when checks start to bounce.
