Best Entangling Poems

Premium Member Ethereal Epiphany

When rainstorm shadows
cast raven woven blankets,
entangling between
the boundaries of
fantasy and reality's reach,
we search for soft glows
from serenades of slumber,
where we embrace
the quilt of night.

In restless dreams
a dandelion soul yearns
to reside within the realms
of conscious thought.
Traversing towards
an enchanting valley
where fields of lilacs
and bluebells surround,
laying foundations
for rows of charismatic
cherry blossoms,
peacefully resting
among a myriad
of kaleidoscopic roses.

Above, azure horizons
reveal the naked sun,
whose radiance shimmers
upon sapphire waters,
delicately blowing
a refreshing breeze.
Lucid choral images
illuminate the mind,
with visions of
an ethereal epiphany -
too difficult to define.

Her heavenly muse
echoes a majestic lullaby,
beckoning hallelujah hearts
to oblige in beats of
unexplainable expressions,
so suppressed thoughts
bleed in turquoise waterfalls.

Barren lands
soak in reflection,
as distance decreases.
Eyes admire in
a silent reverie.
Enticing two isolated
soulful minds to
chant in a chorus
of hummingbird hymns.
An abundance of
amorphous aromas
enchant and enrapture,
as senses blaze into
passionate provinces
of aurora aspirations.
A ruby renaissance of
rhapsodic romantic
musings reverberate
string less symphonies
into the once,
charcoal chambers of a
redeemed, fluorescent
lyrical couplet core.

In ivory harmonies,
venturing upon a pearled path
not known to lovers before,
beloveds search for
a secret garden -
home to Michelangelo's
cathedral of paradise,
yearning to savour its
celestial artistic ambience,
but upon the
zenith of enticement,
unwelcome Lilith skies
slyly and silently encroach.

Heaven recalls her
halo shaped silhouette,
as petals agitated
by spiteful winds
fall into murky waters.
Feathers remain,
floating helplessly in
puddles of regret.

Smoke clears,
as clarity reveals
white concrete walls
with broken blinds.
Nature's beams
breathe a deep sigh.
How sad,
time does not care
for our dreams.

Tofino Moments

Tofino Moments

We walked for hours on the windswept beaches of Tofino
new beginnings…our dreams and toes mingling with sand centuries old
a magical sensation of fingertips touching fingertips…for the first time
a yearning to hold you closer...sharing a kiss as gentle as a baby’s belief
taking all of the strength that I have to simply let go of that moment
my inner soul wearing your shadow as if we were one
being here….side by side…just you and I … breath to breath
the lusty moon bids adieu as the morning tide fills the bay
I felt my heart pulled to you as if you were thirsty water

Moments caught in a life complex with the debris of other moments
all of which becoming suddenly meaningless…so easily left behind
their only purpose to bring us here….to now…do you feel our certainty
is this truly destiny entangling lovers by decree or perhaps default
the sound of your smile etching a sense of completeness
upon on the walls of my heart…for the first time in a long…long time..
the second I hold within my hands is all that I seek ..all that I want
with each wave I feel my very life flowing back into my veins
I loved you at hello…did you know that…it’s true…I loved you at hello

Premium Member The Fire Dance

Two naked bodies lying face to face
Conversing silently locked eye to eye
He gently pulls away from her embrace
His loving touch exudes her ardent sigh
The rhythm of the moment had begun
Entangling arms and legs the stillness breaks
Like dancers moving gracefully as one
They share hot burning fires of give and take
As rapture comes she shudders in his arms
His perspiration falls like summer rain
Encore performance rings a new alarm
With tender kisses he assures no shame

The glowing coals are banked for warmth at night
Slow burning flame will rise with morning light

Premium Member Empirical Deceitfulness

Written: December 29, 2023
            ___________________________________________

Mahogany motionless shadows
cast by deceitful sun,
a caterwaul unravels,
coeval betrayal
voice beckons glimpses
—of anguish
within the heart loci,
once pure and corpulent,
now rapt by crestfallen darkness,
bereavement blight.
synchronous with aquifers
Interfluve ferri-crete...
desultory.

A love so tender,
akin to a fragile bloom,
now withered and wilted,
lost in the gloom,
a vow is broken
trust shattered in shards
of diaphanous slogans
leaving behind, disconsolate
heartbreak—real misery abounds.

In magenta shadows
cast by a deceitful sun,
whispers of deceit,
waltzed in the wind,
saffron sun rays
masked the spuriousness
in perfidy of truth,
as a venomous snake—slither
exposing whopper &
taradiddle
causing hearts to wither

In depths of darkness,
truth did reside,
unveiling deceit,
where love once thrived,
a web of lies spun
entangling hearts
in a web of
perfidiousness
deviousness
guilefulness
& flimflam
how the heart weeps,
its innocence lost,
It once held love's warmth
betrayal wound is effusive.

A turbulent ocean
of bereavement
overwhelms this heart
eviscerate...
& in egregious pain
no relief in sight
only an aching hole
despite sorrow
mercilessly embraces
a glimpse
of grace and hope,
yet, darkness...
holds strength
empyreal resilience.

Premium Member Nightmares Are Waiting

Writing metaphors
          with psychedelic ink,
but they are living things;
taking me to hell in a basket
          of my own creation.

I open my mouth to scream,
           and out come flying wings
like seraphim fleeing flames
            from my unkempt mind;
            a portal of delusion.

Psychedelic ink in lines
          of script like code,
entangling my brain,
          invading the hidden place
          where nightmares are waiting.

Premium Member The Dawn

The Sun rises...

I know the supposed science
of light,
bips and wavy lines of
pulsed propagation

like a heart

like emotions~

how human feelings start
and stop, the forward/backward of time --
the morning news
our repeated proclamations

stagnation and regressive
signatures, announced and printed
shouted over electronic airways
man’s modern-day gazettes

dawn’s transparent lush
on my face,
I admire and study –
the brushwork of gleams~
patterns of my traveled summits
and depressions indented

zebra primrose blossoming, in short
what love created such marvelous
striations? Say ye a God~ surely even
the moron
in glaring absence of other proof
would not guess less?

Him/Her? Our Blessed Hermaphrodite
of sentient-being creating, of morphing-realms
unending evolving

salacious advances of life mating,
entangling, imparting fond mysteries --
lips of roses unfurling, curling, inviting
nearer breaths for uninhibited exploration –

such exposure awakens and sleeps
yet we sense beyond-maturity

delve the wizard behind the curtain

all us Dorothys

trying to find a true way home
imaginable, at least a steady firmament though we
slip precipitously – My thought, to dust, clean and change

the sheets, as a new warmth attempts to re-freshen

recover nature’s veiled cycles our nightly often deeply
staining retreats

Premium Member We Both Get Passionate

Next to me
In ecstasy
Touching skin to skin
We both get
Passionate
Entangling our limbs

Face to face
In deep embrace
Two becoming one
No surprise
We’re synchronized
Until the dance is done

Fall asleep
And then repeat
Until the morning dawns
Glad to say
With each new day
Our love lives on and on

A Lovers Kiss

xOx

I lay my head upon your chest.
Feeling it rise and fall as you breathe.
Hearing each beat of your heart.
Little pants still escaping through your lips.
Putting me at ease, slowly I close my eyes.
My body still tingling, aglow from the warmth you give me.
I wrap my arm across your stomach.
Gliding my hand gently along the length of your side.
Counting each rib knowing what they protect.
Your precious heart, so full of love.
Smiling just a little, as I know just how ticklish you are.
Pulling myself tighter against you.
Craving the warmth your body radiates.
Lying like this, I could stay forever.
You reach your arm around.
Gently placing your hand on the small of my back.
Feeling protected as you wrap yourself around me.
Relaxing my body completely, appeased to the tee.
Satisfied, not able to move,no words needed.
Our closeness saying it all.
Gently gliding your hand up my back across my shoulder
and down my arm.
Entangling each of your fingers with mine as
my heart skips a beat.
I teasingly play with each digit.
Lifting my chin, to see your face.
Are you thinking the same as i
How amazing this is, how beautiful we are.
Our eyes meet we both can't help but smile.
I feel your heart beat, its matching mine.
You lean down, bringing your lips to mine.
Lips so soft and supple, to touch.
Deep, yet soft and sensuous
Lying here next to you, we kiss.

Moonlight Colour

Moonlight Colour

On this night, there was a girl.
She shuffles along a path of stone.
Along the trail where shadows dance,
moonlight is the only colour.
In the dark, the animals feast.
Poor tiny creatures, cute and warm.

Inside her coat she stays warm.
Out from the trail, there was a girl.
Through the door to an illustrious feast,
she collects a smile from a face of stone.
Happy, surprised by vivid colour,
she moves across the floor to dance.

From her hips, she begins to dance.
Brass overtones keep her warm.
Playing every note with living colour,
they paint a picture of the girl.
She glides across the stage of stone,
enchanting the lucky about to feast.

“Sit and be merry, for now we feast!”
In conversation, patrons dance.
Across the table made of stone,
she meets a boy whose heart is warm.
“May I have your hand?” He asks the girl.
She smiles with cheeks of rose red colour.

Entangling souls of vibrant colour,
eternally share preamble feast.
Mystified he leads the girl,
through satiated crowd, they dance.
Around the pit, the air is warm,
embers crack in a ring of stone.

Destiny watches the rolling stone,
New lovers glow in merigold colour.
Holding each other, staying warm,
until only ashes remain of infernal feast.
Under the moonlight they dance.
“May I see you again?” he asks the girl.

On a path of stone, she leaves the feast.
In moonlight colour, two lovers dance.
Together warm, a boy meets girl.

You Don'T Wanna Know

Here I can come,

lets salute the sun,

lets make a brutish cocktail for a run,

lets crash a party that wasn't fun.

And then! ! ! ! !

Ok by then you know there is no playin',

only mind praying,
and rotation of claiming,

because girls are entangling,

estranging-
to their embankment,
to the water that flows strangely,

from out of town-
oh its amazing! ! !

Lets teach them Bangledesh
from the Bay Area-ness,

that comes around in a mess,

drunk and sore from all of their bets.

Ball on time-

when you come
it isn't the crime,

some people ball all the time!

They don't need our time-
our wishes
or our finds...

They are tourists out of their binds...

They're bosses that don't know of lives-

...that need love,

and are falling from their climbs.

Paper Boat

put in paper and let it sail into the ocean and open sea
see how your troubles drift free feel your emotions entangling
drowning in sorrow will only deepen the blow and the harder to surfs
its hard to see when it is pitch black deeper to a emerge dry standing
on ones own to feet balance UN steady not at all ready for the wind blows
and the moon glows on a clear blue sea wide high as the waves flow
drifting sand taking me away as i lay blind sided by the waves current motion
putting myself as this paper still intact not yet braking apart floating
day by day i say may the moon and the sun guide my way to a better place
were i dont have to race with a straight face the clouds are forming and the rain is about to fall
so i put up the walls to keep out the stress that invades my space full of gray sparkling rays
racing up and down my spine giving me mix vibes saying bye to the paper years of tears
full of fear of the storm forming it self into a massive hurricane ready to swim and not sink
in a blink of in eye the ink will dry the paper will brake taking all negativity leaving posterity between me myself i so i swim as of not to drown drinking a string of broken emotions letting it flow away from me cleansing my soul free so i can get back and land on my own two feet drifting all odds in my high and lows i will still grow old to see the spread of the sea weed among crystal clear ocean

A Forbidden Love

A forbidden love it was from long ago
Many years passed it's still whispering
It won't stop until it winds round again, smiling and shining
It will wind around dangerously entangling two lives separate
Her heart skips a beat, throbbing, throbbing, throbbing
It hasn’t done this since years long gone past
What is this!?!
She suddenly can’t stop the fluttering
She smiles, remembering innocent tender embraces
His plump rosy childish lips go on springing
Hers were red in coyness, yet kissing, kissing, kissing
So similar they were bound by the laws of the universe
To meet again, with their love of full feelings, soaring and soaring
No amount of time or distance could keep them apart
Secret lovers meet again, both hearts beat throbbing, throbbing
Unbearably passionate that no one but they alone will ever understand
And she keeps waiting, waiting, waiting
Because she knows the power of this and the inevitable
She waits with a hidden smile of joy in her heart
Waiting for his words that will cover her body
They only need a quick glance, to know that yes!
This does exist!
A forbidden love that can only be allowed to entwine once in a pink moon.
To spare the heartbreak it would cost to others
And knowing that only this way would it ever feel like this any way,
To meet more than once in a pink moon would destroy the pureness of this thing
To remain hidden, known only to the two of them
But this passion makes them to better love
The one who awaits at home
The rock at home that each needs to hang on to
Because to let their wild hearts go recklessly would break them forever
Break the rocks and these star-crossed lovers
Only once when a pink moon comes about
And the universe is forced to unite two hearts again
Again and again in their strange entangled lives.

Social Disability

Cracked and scarred
from many years of depravity,
existing only through
the skill it is made of.

Crevices guard
roots of weeds
as they push and squeeze
their way through.
A jungle of undergrowth
stretched across society,
    entangling us
in its vastness,
hiding a beauty
that could exist
if we pruned it
         occasionally.

Somehow, through the haze that our lives have become,
we ended up next to each other,
under the covers,
with darkness and silence all around.

The soft sound of her rhythmic breathing;
the faint scent of perfume worn off by the long, hectic day;
the tickle of her hair in my face,
reminds me that I still have a pulse.

Lightly, I stroke the length of her soft, bare back;
Gently, I press my lips where an earring was recently removed.

In a half sleep, she purrs and subtly moves her body closer to mine.
With eyes closed our bodies begin to melt into each other
and a stirring of passion, long subdued,
begins to awaken from beneath the slumber.

Silent is the darkness.

Slowly we adjust,
turning towards each other,
with anticipation keeping our worn bodies in motion
against the want of sleep for which we lack.

A muffled creak escapes
from a tired coil in the box spring beneath the weathered mattress,
stifling the movement of our entangling limbs.

An unheard awareness of motion
from the corner of the room.

A sigh.
A peep.
A moan.
A cry
and a wail.

The pain of the colic
has awakened the reminder of a love we once shared
without fear of making a noise.

The bodies untangle, unfulfilled.

She slips out from under the covers,
dons her cotton robe
and tends to the miracle struggling with life anew
not knowing if or when the missed moment
might occur again.
