Niagara Falls

Elements Part 3: WATER - Poetry Contest
Sponsor: Brian Davey

I've seen pictures but never the authentic beauty,
for one can never explain such flowing cascades,
Niagara Falls has stolen my sadness while broody,
what a marvel mother nature has made.

Wonder one of the seven seen within earth's creations

Above Lake Erie bordering Canada while cascading

Torrents of Niagara Falls impermeable from hydration

Exquisite attraction in America, I watch the cataracts fading

Rain and snow activate the collecting of precipitation

Falls of water chute down strong, my essence serenading

All the spectacles have exceeded my curious expectations

Lingering tourists are enthralled, streams can be persuading

Latitude of distance the water enforces without explanation

Watching the strong current energize while it invigorates,
I wonder what the crystallization would look like if the falls could solidify.
I can't imagine seeing a single glimpse as the frosty snow saturates.
In wintry weather the streams don't freeze; requisite while the falls mystify.

The Beautiful Game

Four long years have past, World Cup here at last
Thirty two teams full of hope, live their dreams
from all over our world, adorers massed
Within Russia's realms, friendship to extremes

Football fever, expectation from fans
Nil nil will not suffice on or off the pitch
technology enforces rules and commands
Our beautiful game for all, poor or rich

soccer is sport, brings most nations together
With one aim our team to win is our goal
play in sun or rain whatever the weather
skilful athletes, architects of ball control,

enjoy the comradely, pleasure and joy
cheer your home team when they score
let’s compete on the football pitch oh boy
it’s got to be better than on fields of war.

Trying To Love Charlie Chaplin

Time ticks on into the night
A nonchalant, half-hearted fight
Save it for the morning after
Soften the blow of recurring nightmares
As the initial emotion recedes
Love is a battle and everyone bleeds
Impatiently, I wait through the silence
Then try to provoke a passionate violence
Your ignorance poisons my useless veins
Enforces your trustworthy barricade
A solid obstruction that I can't dispute
Words can't compete with a self-imposed mute

Premium Member Questions That Belong

Each heart has its asks,
Yet most What? comes unbidden!
Inside lie our tasks.

Man’s no island lone,
Archipelago’s the heart!
Yet man enforces wont.

Desire is extant,
Shouldn’t the What? make
Scarce smiles rampant?

Premium Member The One

The one who inspires and motivates me
re enforces the joy in my life very greatly.
The one who disappoints and deceives me
is one of my life's greatest tragedies,
but the one who inspires and motivates me
who inevitably disappoints and deceives me
is the one who affects my life the most devastatingly
and very rarely will I ever find any recovery.

Life Is a Prison

( LIFE IS A PRISON )

Life is a prison,
Oh God let me out.
No one to listen,
To hear when you shout.

Climb the walls of insanity,
Ride the waves of despair.
If you fall it don't matter,
There's no one to care.

Used to wish for a window,
To see birds, trees and sky,
But you're better without one -
Stops you aiming too high.

Watching freedom is painful,
For those locked away.
Seeing joy, love and happiness,
Another price that you pay.

Strong is good, weak is bad.
Be it false, be it true.
Your mind makes the choice,
And enforces it too.

Cell walls built by society,
With rules to adhere.
If you breach the acceptable,
You had better beware.

Hide the pain, carry on,
Routine is the key.
Don't let on that you're not,
What you're pretending to be.

Lock it all up inside you,
How badly that bodes.
Look out for that one day,
When it all just explodes.

Leaving naught but a shell,
Base functionality too.
But killing all else,
That was uniquely you.

So how do you grow,
With a timebomb inside?
Or how to defuse it,
Without destroying its ride?

Premium Member December Roses

Soft as a snowflake falls
and melts on the earth still warm
December roses dare to bloom
Winter is calling her seasons firm

Like a love that is fragile and shy
December roses unseasonably stay
soon the winds of winter will arrive
and blow your petals away

The nights frost is heavy
the winds chill the ground
the snow begins falling so strong
In snowflakes the roses drown

Beauty can be fragile
with a smile that is wry
Nature enforces her seasons
December roses freezing goodbye

Like a love short but long remember
December roses dare to display
pretty roses to treasure
gifted by warmth of odd December days

One rose the month surrender
into a poetry book I pressed
So I can look and remember
December roses of warmth's kiss

Psychedelics

Many decades..
There has been a war on psychedelics..
In the western world..

It had been ridiculed..
It had been banned..
It had been surrounded by negativity..
Tremendous darkness
False accusations had been drawn against it..

Had been misinformed..
As to its actual cause..
Placed in the same light as..
A toxic substance
Represented only dark forces..
The dark forces are the laboratories
Of which creates chemicals..
A toxic poisonous cocktail..
Combined with Mother Nature's own..
Thus then blames the natural plant..
For dangerous side effects..

In retrospect..
Pure pshycedelics is part of nature..
A natural plant..
Exclusively for the mind, body, and soul..
It has existed since the beginning of time..
Indigenous tribes from every corner of this Universe..
Had embraced it..
Medicinal purposes..
Healing..
Becoming in touch with Divinity..

Whether it is psyilocybin mushrooms..
Ayahuasca..
It matters not..

Enforces a gateway to divinity..
Though the Conscious is always in direct communication..
With the subconscious..
Lack of awareness exists..
Therefore Human conciousness dismisses it..

It matters not..
Awareness..
Unawareness..
Both are in direct communication..

Psycadelics boosts one's memory a bit..
Of who you really are..
A rememberance and celebrations..
Of thyself..
The true essence of who you are..

Divine interventions..
Is caused by psychedelics..
A gateway filled with discernment
An eye opening introduction to thyself..
An eye opening experience
A life altering change..
An altered state of conciousness..
To connenct with your own divinity..
Become consciously aware of all there is..
Embark on a blissful journey..
A trip one shall never forget..

A safe enviroment is a must..
surrounded by loved one's is a plus..
To experience a jumpstart on thyself..
Is the recipe for ..
A delectable experience..

Western society had banished psychedelics..
Banishment was..
Still is..
To deny ..
To supress..
One to walk an enlightened path..
A path to divinity..
Of which is their own..

To know thyself..

Premium Member Changing Sky

Its winter, very cold chill is in the air
Sky unfolds with a dark violet, purple hue
The snow on the ground enforces the sky’s glare
Beyond in a distant sky is a deep blue
As the evening comes to play entering red
An aura brought forward, like a heart that bled
As the sun has left only the lamps to glow
Now blackness covers the sky for all to know

AI, the vigilant guardian

AI, the vigilant guardian, stands at the digital divide,
A bulwark in the world where our secrets reside.
It advocates for security, a shield in the night,
Ensuring our data stays out of the malicious sight.

AI, the steadfast, defends without rest,
A champion of privacy, in its quest.
It fortifies walls where vulnerabilities lie,
Preventing breaches where dangers might pry.

AI, the tireless, a true ally in the fight,
Against cyber threats that loom in the twilight.
It enforces the fortress, secures every link,
So we may browse, and shop, and safely think.

AI, the wise, calls for our trust,
In its code we rely, for secure it must.
It pleads for ethics in the code we weave,
For a safer tomorrow, in which we can believe.

Let us then champion AI, secured and smart,
For it holds the key to safety's art.
In its circuits and systems, our hopes are sown,
Secured AI, the protector, forever known.

Another Child Deserted

Beautiful child a tear down her face
Skin soft soft a symbol of pure grace
Innocence to her eye holdings mummy's hand
Walking a bricked path until they land
Office of dust - she at two years looks around
Awaiting her mummy until she's finally found
Stranger approaches and walks her away
Where is mummy? She don't want to stay
Lump expands to her throat - tries not to cry
Panic enforces she must find her mummy - she must insistantly try
Screams fill the corridors as mummy has gone away
Why has she gone and why does the girl stay?
Stranger tries to show empathy and be gentle and kind
Feeling sick to her stomach - she has panic of being left behind
Mummy went home you see and got goodies with her new man
Not many young blokes want children or are much of a fan
Mummy had lost weight and smoked a smallish white rock
When the police came round it was hidden in the little girl's sock
Little girl - a stupid one night stand and mistake
Wished her in care or would drown her in the lake
So selfish and cruel and greedy for her heroin and coke
Little girl crying in care as mummy chases the dragon with her new bloke

Hypocrits Hallelujah

I follow you lord with all my heart,
so i shall kill others in your name.
I will be the officer who enforces the laws,
even if they are unlawful themselves.
I will be the jury who convicts those before me,
even if they did nothing wrong.
I will also be the executioner,
even if being so means I sin.
All this I do in your name oh lord.
Amen.

The Media

Reputation is the currency
Media are the bankers
Bank manager lord and master
Enforces the religious template
Template ergonomically askew to the detriment of me an you
Any can be discredited due to the nature of the template
Headlines call in a loan
A few words bring to an end a lifetimes ambition
Saving this currency is a fools game
The media will just torture and mame
The medias power is due to the un ergonomic template
The template is protected by the media.
The templates shape is derived from religion.

You

you are the stone
you are the sculptor
you are the statue
you are the transformation

you are the pen
you are the poet
you are the poetry
you are the imagination

you are the simplicity
that re-enforces
the message of creation
