Egg On Easter

Egg on Easter,
no one who is sane can begin to believe that there is nothing or Christ, just nothing?
The world is in a mess, dare anyone deny that this is the truth, this is the test.
Wherever we look factions and fractions give us the tautological certainly that where
humans are humanity runs away fast and far away as violence has the night and day.

In our general election pompous political arithmetic seguing into statistics that dully flows through our disunited kingdom as rhetoric is rare as demagogy blares out Simple Simon answers, or pride in prejudice as Christ's sacrifice is of no avail and all religion is tainted by the few fearing they are the unreasonable while philosophy is cant not Kant.

Our a silly selfishness seguing into great greed and awful envy that got us all in the world into the Great Recession that slowly, uncertainly is dying, but is so more real for many than the Resurrection of Jesus Christ's yet, yet still, people of all sorts are touched even momentarily by Easter as others go to church even though scorned by those who know it all and indifferences of the everyday world even on Easter Sunday, this most risky high of high days.

We've suffered through one of the most contentious political races,

That left pundits and not a few Soup Poets with egg on their faces!

Good riddance to the politically correct mob and their guru Hussein!

Now, with a no-nonsense leader, we'll get this nation back on track again.

I know that many are wringing their hands and crying in their beers.

Too damn bad, say I, having endured the calamitous Obama years.

Adios Hilliary, Billiary, Hussein and Michelle, I'm glad to see you go!

Donald will make America Great Again in lieu of the status quo!

When three friends entered the egg and spoon race
Pooh did not think that his pals stood a chance
he's so convinced that he’d come in first place
he’d pre-prepared a new victory dance

Pooh did not think that his pals stood a chance
Until he dropped his boiled egg on the floor
he’d pre-prepared a new victory dance
as he had always won this race before

Until he dropped his boiled egg on the floor
he's so convinced that he’d come in first place
as he had always won this race before
when three friends entered the egg and spoon race

Egg On Our Faces

Egg On My Face

It was about a day or two ago
When I really wanted to know
How many go to heaven each day
And here is what I heard God say

Each and every sin is forgiven
And long time you have been living
Friends like you are hard to find
And only a few have I left behind.

One was someone just like you;
We were perfect in our points of view
Agreed with each other down to the last
Approved of what we did in the past.

In our lives God's love is in the lead
So we started group called Mustard Seed
Thoughts to many they wanted to carry
Which were like being a missionary

Now every day without any fail
All of you will receive a merciful email
With a picture and poem inside
About how God has nothing to hide.

Will read Bible so we can obtain
All the knowledge God wants us to gain
We know with God nothing will be lost
Including our emails which are free of cost.

In our each email do try to indulge
And pretty soon your big brain will bulge
With thoughts and ideas God has sent
Making you ready and raring to repent.

What God did was make us want to give
Out to others while we will live
In God's great honor with His great graces
Never ending up with egg on our faces.

You Will Have Egg On Your Face

You are an atheist and you say that religion is a fraud.
You say that I'm full of crap because I believe in God.
You say that God is fake and that he didn't create the Human Race.
But when the Second Coming arrives, you will have egg on your face.
You say the Bible is a book that is full of fictional stories.
But when Jesus returns, you will see him in all of his glory.
You call me a fool because religion is something that I embrace.
But you will be the one who looks foolish, you will have egg on your face.

The egg is a food
That can befoul your mood
When rubbed on your face
   You're completely disgraced

Why did she think me 'peculiar'
when 'odd' or 'strange' would do

          I imagine it's an idiosyncrasy
~ one that she never outgrew
