Egg On Their Faces

We've suffered through one of the most contentious political races,

That left pundits and not a few Soup Poets with egg on their faces!

Good riddance to the politically correct mob and their guru Hussein!

Now, with a no-nonsense leader, we'll get this nation back on track again.

I know that many are wringing their hands and crying in their beers.

Too damn bad, say I, having endured the calamitous Obama years.

Adios Hilliary, Billiary, Hussein and Michelle, I'm glad to see you go!

Donald will make America Great Again in lieu of the status quo!

I have come to respect Obama, and like him, I will say this, Trump won, so regardless of views, we should unite, democracy has spoken, and so now lets work towards the future. Cheers! :) Robert L.
