When imbalance of life churns hapless poignancy
And the zephyr of inequities breezes melancholy
Dissonance reverberates echoing pathos of grief
Seeking exaltation within metaphysical profundity
As hushed posture conjures up humbling catharsis,
Leaning in quietude, questing paranormal vitality,
Liberating from bounds of mundane, the ordinary,
Energizing calming bliss of unfamiliar, extrasensory.

Mortal soul steadily crosses limits of understanding
Reaching deep into unknown, unexplored territory,
Daring to search for knowledge in mystical obscurity
Pursuing enlightenment from supernatural intrigue,
Discovering newfound acuity blossoming internally
Adulating freedom of shedding narrow boundaries
Gaining divine wisdom, postulating own doctrines,
Comprehending missives in blissfulness of sagacity.

As laments mellow in teachings of superior intellect
And bawl of distraught soothes in heavenly solace
Finding ambrosial tranquility in endearing calmness,
Physiological longings amiably, peacefully dissipate
And gradually soul enlightens, unafraid of mortality,
Yearning for permanence of purposeful inviolability,
Meaningful beyond self, detaching from materiality,
Synchronizing harmoniously in idyllic, placid sanctity.

Premium Member Lord God, You Are My Power

April 25 Relationship to God Bible Meditations Based on 2Chronicles 23-25

*2 Chronicles 25:8 But if thou wilt go, do it, be strong for the battle: God shall make thee fall before the enemy: for God hath power to help, and to cast down.

Lord God, You Are My Power

Lord God, You are my Power against temptations of worldly reign
Thank You for being my Guide toward Your will, devoid of sinful strain
Surely, You’re my Foundation Who braces me upon holiness-terrain
While I minister to others along tender mercy’s gain.

Lord God, You are my Power against snares of feebleness
Thank You for being my Commander along paths of holiness
Surely, You’re my Master Who deserves my praise-earnestness
While I rejoice with singing midst spirited worshipfulness.

Lord God, You are my Power against attacks of corruption
Thank You for being my King Whom I submit to with full devotion
Surely, You’re my Lord Who controls me by Your compassion
While I serve You, participating in Your great commission.

Lord God, You are my Power against threats of sorrows
Thank You for being my Leader toward hopeful tomorrows
Surely, You’re my Protector Who shields me from doubt-arrows
While I fulfill stewardship roles despite challenges’ furrows.

Lord God, You are my Power against issues of controversy
Thank You for being my Wisdom along truth-fervency
Surely, You’re my Teacher Who instills Scriptures’ inerrancy
While I pursue discipleship with Your doctrines’ consistency.

Lord God, You are my Power against guilt of shallow commitment
Thank You for being my Anchor, propping servanthood engagement
Surely, You’re my Captain Who directs toward kingdom advancement
While I share the Gospel midst soulwinning involvement.

Lord God, You are my Power* against hurts of misery
Thank You for being my Listener for my prayer victory
Surely, You’re my Supplier Who provides with Your resources’ dowry
While I trust Your assurance fully, always faithful throughout history.

Premium Member My Soul, You Need To Turn To God

My backslidden soul*, you were converted by GOD’s Word
As shown by your divine growth and testimony ’s record,
But you departed away from that great spiritual cord
Broken by worldly financial and material sword.
Turn to God Who rescues by His grace He can afford!

My prodigal soul, you were so blessed greatly
As the Lord provided for you tremendously,
But you neglected sound principles biblically
That caused your moral downfall fatally.
Turn to God Who can restore you fully!

My wayward soul, you were known to be Christ-honoring
As evidenced by your heavenly walk and divine bearing,
But you embraced humanistic doctrines so devouring,
Making you proud, yet continuing in miserable erring.
Turn to God Who can transform you be God-fearing!

My discouraged soul, you were before an example of zealousness
As seen in your conviction for godly standards and uprightness,
But you despised God’s presence and defied His holiness
While taking for granted prayer and Bible’s effectiveness.
Turn to God Who can bring you to His righteousness!

My unfaithful soul, you were then fulfilling the Great Commission
As proven by your mission-minded pursuits, filled with compassion,
But you failed to stay in the ancient landmarks of faith’s action
By compromising with secularism and liberalism’s motion.
Turn to God Who can plant you on His firm foundation!

My wavering soul, you were a guide to them who found real freedom
As told by those who owe to Christ thru you what they’ve become,
But you forgot the real source of genuine authority and wisdom
When you abandoned the only Way to heavenly kingdom. Turn to God Who invites that to Him you humbly come!

My dear soul, you surely need God with His forgiveness and guidance
As He alone can surely lift you up from your critical imbalance,
Beg on Him to uphold you on His church’s scriptural stance
And to behold you with His loving care by His divine glance.
Turn to God Who can pull you for revival’s sustenance!

*Psalm 6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for thy mercies' sake.

Premium Member We Hate the Ones We Have Wronged

It is human nature to hate him whom you have injured. ~Tacitus

as children
we looked past the world’s artificial trappings
the ravelment of doctrines
and the glaring capitalistic displays
the only criteria was that we’re friends

growing up
the world we inhabited
shrank as we embraced
the rules of others
to fit in

adulthood
meant that we
overrode innate compassion for others
paramount concern
belonging to the right group
often at the expense of many others

leaving a particular religious group
would lead to shunning
even death
lost in this Troxler effect
we have ultimately lost the ability to discern human value

we’re set in our ways
our value compass
eventually deliquesced as it decomposed
like a corpse

how did we become so jaundiced in our outlook
it is obvious
we hate the ones we have wronged
forgiving ourselves is only path to redemption

How can one man find
More faith in a crevasse of Siula Grande,
Than most will ever know,
Sitting beneath a pulpit on Sunday?

Dulling the truth to grow the census,
Merchants and cowards comfort the carnal ear.
Marketing Christ’s love without his conviction,
Left willful in sin with nothing to fear.

In half doctrines and custom alter calls,
Prostituting the truth with all forms of prosperity.
Akin to seeding hookers in the chambers of Heaven.
Deceived to death twice by hand and blasphemy.

Feeding wolves from among your own flocks.
In the banquets of ancient mystics and bride Blavatsky,
Word of Faith gorging on their mammon,
Left choking in an insatiable eternity.

A culture’s blue concessions are gone,
Giving more choices leaving Paul’s letters unread.
No church discipline or discernment left,
Testaments of burning flesh that once bled.

Refusing to submit to be broken.
Fading old blessings from past obedience.
Confusing favor with common grace,
Hypocrisy’s retribution birthed decadence.

Millions claiming the found life of the few,
In every eulogy and requiem,
Lukewarm afterthoughts of the Son,
Losing everything by never knowing him.

Despising the light of the living truth,
Lobotomizing guilt with the scalpel of ignorance.
Finding solace in the darkness of mystery.
Death marches infectious rainbows of tolerance.

Redefining roles and covenants in hemorrhaging lies
Under the pretense of the modern states,
Illusions of enlightenment killing somatic slaves.
Relativism’s heart courting the things he hates.

Enticed by the delusions of utopias,
Bound in the fables of autonomy.
Throats upon The two-edged sword,
In this American tragedy

This poem attempts to capture the Fundamentalist view on certain issues with other movements within Christianity. Also, the man in the crevasse, chose a different kind of faith than you may have assumed.

Vociferous Avarice: Wall Street Creed

The path was long and arduous
And night began to veer
O’er trees, and lanes and rusted gates
Its' shadows breeding fear

Unbridled Wind wisped ‘round
Tombstone crosses where
Hissing its’ frustration
Loudly in despair

It sought to nourish fears
The shadows did create
Searching everywhere to find
It’s soul-less night-time mate.

Moonbeam light kissed the Night
Claiming shadows as their child
Together then in lock-step
They bent on running wild

And there, where he awaited
Their cold inspiring touch
With doctrines of all Evils
Firmly in his clutch

The blackness in his heart,
Thumping ‘neath his frock
Soon it’s rancid maladies
The Wind would there unlock

Thoughts of what’s to come
Then twisted lips to smile
Revealing stained and yellowed teeth
Trapping breath so rank and vile

‘twas then The Prince of Avarice
Rose and stood erect
The world would soon be his
To ravage and infect

His eyes of snake, both bespake
Behind their reptile lids
The embrace of the doctrine
For no Evils it forbids

The Wind increased its’ howling
Icy fingers pushing fro
Arranging fallen hopes
Into a dead rouleau

And you and I so un-suspect
Of pending alchemy
Believing we were safe inside
Cocoons of normalcy.

Our naiveté so firmly grasped
Caused us to belie
The chaos we knew not …
‘twas there, and drawing nigh

As Wind fingers touched him
He yelled out his decree:
“ The Prince of Avarice shall reign
And destroy Democracy!”

His school of ghouls, dunce and fools
Clamored to his side
Greed having won the day
Was about to take It’s ride!

Greed, first blessed the banks
And Wall Street did rejoice
The Prince of Avarice then silenced
All protestor ‘s voice

With lies and propaganda
All fabricated well
Then all the bankers rang
The borrowers death knell

Morgan Stanley, AGI,
Then ‘twas Goldman-Sachs
Raking in what Greed gave out:
Billions in green-backs.

Glutted bankers,
Through laughter Greed had honed
Uncaringly showed the world
A prediction - their prodrome

Of broken dreams, foreclosure schemes
Insuring that which failed
But jobs the cost, as homes were lost
And not a banker jailed.

Vultures

It was not so
It was not so
Before the invasion of the vultures
In those days
When being black makes us thick
When our communion whispers across oceans
When our ties thrust distrust
When our dreams were dreams
When our groans frighten their gods
When our cowries outweigh their currencies
But now,
The invasion of the vultures
Mocked our mores
Crucified our tradition with their crusades
Barter our black gem for arms
Conscript our angels into prostitution
Littering our minds with the doctrines of servitude
It was not so
With their holy writ they stabbed us
It was not so
Before the invasion of the Vultures.

Premium Member The Last Days Are Here

The last days are here!
There are wars
There are rumors of wars
Nature revolts every where!

False prophets!
With strange doctrines
Feed fat on human frailities
To man’s utter bewilderment!

Strange illnesses!
Stranger than fiction
Hold humanity
In deadly grips

Terror bearers!
Bearing human inventions
Kill and maim
In the World’s streets.

God said to our early parents
“ Go and multiply and fill the earth’’
But in disobedience
Sexual immorality rule the world

Let us repent and change our ways!
For the rapture is close at hand
 The righteous will be heaven-bound
while evil doers will burn in hell.

Premium Member Making of a Neophyte - Edited

Raised in a somber household where she could do nothing right,
she would flounder in every chore her parents had her do.
Picked on by classmates, she would smolder with rage.
Eventually, she came to feel
that every single thing in her life was dolorous.
She could show nothing of her real self to the world,
for she was swallowed up by inhibition
and a profound lack of self-esteem.

Gathering the strength one day to leave her parents’ home,
she walks away.
It feels to her like divine providence
when warm, outgoing strangers not much older than she
latch onto her and bring her into their fold.
They introduce her to their charismatic guru.
His daily preaching of strange doctrines, though sheer bombast,
resonate deeply within her, for his words are the life line
which she's been reaching for; he reels her in!
A zealous neophyte the girl becomes as she -along with other females -
gives herself over, body and soul,
to the lecherous diabolical
leader of the cult.

My God

Religion binds us in guilt

Using sins it restricts

Religion with its dogmatic doctrines

Feels the need to control everything

Demands we worship at their feet

Expects supplication and blind belief

Encouraging you part with cash

Like that will bring redemption back

No matter how devoted you may be

It doesn't stop them judging harshly you and me

But the truth is I reside in love

When I converse with my God

In my own space and in my own time

God is omniscient by design

So he hears me no matter where I be

And God always watches over me

Hears my wishes and no my dreams

He is never to busy to visit me

I don't need churches, mosques or temples

And I won't be made to fear or tremble

My God is peaceful, forgiving and gentle

My God is everything that is resembled by love

And by compassion and kindness too

I love my God and he loves me too

And he gave me free will to pick and choose

Just how I live my life

He trusts me to live it right

So I struggle each day

To make my God proud each day

So I worship my God in my own unique way.

Premium Member Hold On To Prized Ways

As people start to age wisdom gains an edge
Regrets wish to reassess to honor old pledge
Memories once sour, clamor to turn a page
Wisdom gains an edge as people start to age

Truth that once was remains the guiding light
Stars that twinkled then still sparkle bright
Departures from veracity mount a bold pause
Remains the guiding light, truth that once was

Past manifests anew when future looks bleak
Reminiscing old revelry when grief tries to peek
Cherishing pleasant thoughts wishing to renew
When future looks bleak, past manifests anew

Hold on to prized ways when life gives a test
Conquests aren't easy when aiming for the best
Doctrines beholding virtue are worthy of praise
When life give a test, hold on to prized ways

Casting Down Emaginations

Thought for Today: Casting Down Imaginations
By Dana Redricks
Gods People
January 2, 2020

" We are destroying sophisticated arguments and every exalted and proud thing that sets itself up against the [true] knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ, being ready to punish every act of disobedience, when your own obedience [as a church] is complete." 2 Corinthians 10:5 (AMP)

Our minds are the battlefield Satan uses. Everything begins as a thought life. Our enemy uses our thought life against us. If we change the way we think we change the way we live. Everything is determined by our thought life. If we want to stop thinking negative we have to replace those negative thoughts with positive ones, which is the Word of God. The Word of God is for defense and empowering with the purposes of God. The act of defense is the act of standing our ground against attacks, and schemes Satan and his demonic host. The Word of God is our defense against the attacks of the kingdom of darkness of Satan. that's why it is important to cast down every imagination that exalts itself against God, and put on the full Armor of God,"Therefore, put on the complete armor of God, so that you will be able to [successfully] resist and stand your ground in the evil day [of danger], and having done everything [that the crisis demands], to stand firm [in your place, fully prepared, immovable, victorious]." (Ephesians 6:11l. We should put on the Full Armor of God, so we will be able to stand in the evil day. the Word of God equips us and gives us everything we need to live a successful life in Christ, and also come against the attacks and schemes Satan's demonic forces.

"The doctrines of the gospel and discipline of the church are the weapons of this warfare; and these are not carnal: outward force, therefore, is not the method of the gospel, but strong persuasions, by the power of truth and meekness of wisdom. A good argument this is against persecution for conscience’ sake: conscience is accountable to God only; and people must be persuaded to God and their duty, not driven by force of arms. And so the weapons of our warfare are mighty, or very powerful; the evidence of truth is convincing and cogent." Matthew Henry Commentary

Where Do You Stand

There is so much deception
Diluted reflections,
Alluding to perfection
But denying the resurrection,
Changing what was formed during conception,
While claiming they are an exception.
It’s only a matter of time,
Before the righteous shine
For these trials are benign
In the grand span of time.
All these tests,
Bring forth the best,
And separate us from the rest.
Some think they are so blessed
But they are goats, I must confess
They are breaches in this mess.
Selling daughters
To the Order
Draping sin
 In fine linen
Making love… a financial gain
While your sons go insane
Drinking blood sacrificed to demons
Making wealth off a man’s seaman.
Idolatry clothed in the "common good"
Many have forsaken what God said they would.
Perfecting holy words to fit a style
Don’t you know God says its vial?
Fear of man rather than the one
Who can cast you to hell and heal your son.
The infinite power, love and grace
Has suddenly been altered and replaced
By doctrines of devils and smooth operators
There is only one God and the rest are all haters.
But many go along with the times,
As if time won’t stop and require a fine.
We all have a date with an eternal fate,
We all have a dance with an eternal romance.
The question is what kind of dance will you eventually partake
Will it be pearly white gates or a fire filled lake?
