Premium Member Inner Sanctum

Written: January 27, 2024
               ________________________________________

"Remember, the entrance door to the sanctuary is inside you. Why do you stay in prison when the door is so wide open? Move outside the tangle of fear-thinking".

Oh, a flimsy state over grief, issues, and dualism.
How do I find the inner sanctum of nihilism?
As the guillotine of deceit hangs in plain sight,
How tempting are laziness, ease, and blight?

True divine tandem can occur at a sacred site.
An inner haven as you dwell in glory and light
Yield the path to connecting with the infinite.
In an inner sanctum, calm flows over divine might.

Bewilderment seems sporadic at first glance.
Once you've linked culprits, anguish may trance.
I succumb when the climate renders them unwell.
Cluttered mounds of breadcrumbs lead to a swell.

Ascending free from ominous pits of dread,
Seeking trust across awareness lies ahead.
Sensing the heavenly spark that will soothe,
Illuminating the path leading to the truth.

Stillness enhances your perception of taste.
Find the light; the climate seems to be quaint.
How subtly do things reverse disastrous?
I often fall into that abyss, myself in vastness.

The stain of low scorn darkens in midst of trust.
I stroll into the dismal clay of scarlet excess dust.
The ruthless grasp buried inside suffocates life.
In empathy, I endure the agonizing pains of strife.

Invest oneself in each mission and excursion.
These wonderful events allow for sensations.
Mercury is in and out of phase, as is the moon.
Be mindful of your tongue. The lips are strewn.

Flawed sensory acumen of a stray mind,
uncovers a spiritual path within a gild divined.
The inner sanctum door unlocks at that sight.
While the tulip blossoms with glorious light.

The soul sparkles with astral splendor and sequins.
In a hallowed realm, where rays serve as beacons
In my self-searching dedication toward eternity.
Inward cosmic trends enrich my trust earnestly.

 Knotted in the Dance

Our eyes in a silent promise locked,
the way only stranger's can.
Perhaps foretelling of lover's, unfrocked,
langoured and breathless ran.

You, I think, blushed in surprise,
though I really don't remember.
For I, like a thief rushed window pried,
saw only endless splendor.

Your face laying against my chest explored,
and traced the furrow'd line.
Though indifferent to that wound ignored,
the scar I tried to hide.

You, now with arms around my neck entwined,
my hands, the master of your curved hips.
Knew how with charms, bound to defect, divined,
to lands where time stands unperturbed in eclipse.

Few hovered the hall that night as we,
caught in love's magical trance.
Two lover's enthralled in flight shall be,
forever knotted in the dance.

We Sing a Song of Hope

Vs 1
When life becomes clouded
with worries and fears
We find ourselves grieving
in sorrow and tears

Vs 2
The burdens we carry,
too heavy a load
and shadows surround us
down dark winding roads

       Chorus ~
There's a gift God gives to us
       with merciful love
       It's a lambent glow, a light.
       Hope's threads are of gold
       meant to mend broken hearts
       sent from God above
       It's a lambent glow, a light
       always burning bright

Vs 3
Have faith in God's power
To bring peace of mind
Be courageous and brave
For hope is divined

Vs 4
Do not be discouraged
Hope conquers despair
With blessings upon us
God answers our prayer

       Chorus ~
There's a gift God gives to us
       with merciful love
       It's a lambent glow, a light.
       Hope's threads are of gold
       meant to mend broken hearts
       sent from God above
       It's a lambent glow, a light
       always burning bright

Vs 5
When trouble arises
We're wary of harm
Remember that hope brings
us comfort and calm

       Chorus ~
There's a gift God gives to us
       with merciful love
       It's a lambent glow, a light.
       Hope's threads are of gold
       meant to mend broken hearts
       sent from God above
       It's a lambent glow, a light
       always burning bright

A lambent glow, our guiding light
       always burning bright

I look

     my happiness
     and from

     words of
     such tenderness
     each page we turn
     our hearts embrace

Premium Member Her Intangible Caress

She was with me, untouchable, intangible, and yet
she caressed me with her breath in an intimate way
on a balmy night in April, I shall never forget.
Patiently, I waited for shadowed clouds to fade away.
Then, I watched her gracefully moved among the stars,
a flawless goddess in chiffon, her face alabaster pale.
In resplendent light she was robed, her majesty divined.

As twilight's sapphire haze deepens on the fringe of night,
she captures my gaze with a mesmerizing hold.
At this paradisial moment, and in this Edenic place,
I am loved and loved in return with total devotion.
Able, for the first time to feel this depth of emotion,
this piety that I've never been able to express,
I confess this to the beauty hovering above me,
and in her illuminated celestial glory, she smiles.
To search for her soft glow each evening, I am fated.

I'M Your King

A burst of white light
gamma rays, overbearing
a flash of brilliance
burns through to my soul
everything is like hell
the world starts to melt
in the blink of an eye
just the cold blackness
of night

I don't care if I am not again
what I once was, for at this moment
I am greater now
than ever before
I took the path between
teetering, tight roping walking
right up to my right
divined in my unholy state
I thought I told you
I am your king
still you sit there, hesitating

I know you hate me
what does that mean?
I hate just about everything
still I'm chosen
I did not wish before
now bow down to me
refuse me no more
for I shall always be your demon
until you accept me as your King.

I don't even know you
though you say we used to be
best of friends, you and me
the day you ditched me
I remember now
exactly how it played out
back when we were just tiny things
even back then I still was King

you thought me stupid
just a ruse
I would laugh inside, you see?
not one of you single, mean people
ever even knew me
in a world, mostly seen to me
that is why only I can be your true King
and bring forth a new source
of light everlasting.

As two worlds collide slowly aligned
one wrapped in shadows
one bathed in white
evils swirling in the clouds above
I'll always be the king you love
to hate or despise as in your blood
I thought I told you, I am the one
I am the way, the way out shall be shown
breathe in my spirit as it carries you away
breathe in my faith it shall carry your empty space
and deposit you gently on a cloud just enough
higher than you've ever dreamed of
for I am king now, and your in my hell
your in my imagination, I'll just never tell
you'll feel as though dreaming, you'll feel now
if you try and see
you were always found the most
shared in the light cast upon me
the last bright star in heaven.

Denounce my name, if you may
One year later, still not afraid
A black sheep, a darkened spade
That's just life, I'm not right
I'm in the wrong, follow along
Like a piper, I'll pitch a song
Mesmerized, the weak wills sing
I thought he told you, he's still our king.

Premium Member Oh, Take Me Home

Oh, take me home, sweet journey of the mind,
along the many roads I've known that wind
through times of blessedness. . . through spans of dearth,
past corridors of woe, down paths of mirth –
to when my Now could not have been divined.

My sentimental byways are entwined
with childhood mementos that still bind
me to the dearest place I've known on earth.
Oh, take me home.

Oh, take me back again that I might find
the carefree days on lanes I left behind,
when all my world was small in size and girth.
I rushed to leave. . . too late I learned the worth
of things to which the eyes of youth are blind.
Oh, take me home!

Lost Love Divined

Young lass,
young lad
What aileth thee?

Come hither,
come near
Let me have a query

Perchance I may so then divine
what troubleth thee,
what torments thy mind

Aaah, yes ... ooh no!
I see where the discomfort within ye dwell
It is your heart that is so impaled

The blood of vigor has been a-flow
Thy spirit is pale,
has lost its glow

The voice that beckons,
thus make thy passions move
Tis' no longer heard,
thus thy soul's not soothed

O where,
O where
lies thy remedy?

Be gone despair
Cast afar yonder
all thy bane misery

For listen now,
for listen well
Love's fortune, I do foretell

Twas lost is found,
twas fled is bound
No more sick of heart is thine

A face unknown
has forwith been shown
to be lost love divined

Premium Member My Soul Cries Joyful Tears: Written With Mike

My wondrous love, my soul cries joyful tears,
when i do feel your heart beat against me.
As i hold you close, gone are all my fears,
and our glory i know shall ever be.

Your siren eyes they do call to my heart,
in the depths of my soul your song does sing.
From the heart of your eyes i shall not part,
all my love and care to you i shall bring.

In the depths of my love beauty i see,
you are the beauty, the light of my soul.
In your embrace love so gently can be,
ever in echoes your love is my goal.

Ever i know throughout all of my years,
my wondrous love, my soul cries joyful tears.
                      ~ ~ ~

What fulfilling love through the years we've shared
Our hearts pulse as one though age takes a toll
With no other would I've wished to be paired
Our romance lives through each breath we extol

What you glimpse in my eyes can be defined
by the same vision I fathom in yours;
A forever love, heavenly divined
Come and walk with me upon moonlit shores

In echoes our love shall ever resound
to depths far deeper than ocean or sea
Our hearts and souls, perpetually bound
Wherever you are is where I shall be

Tears of joy testify to love's glory
They verify years of our love story

Thanks for renewing our joined writings, Mike. Your sonnets are always a joy and an opportunity to imagine.

Premium Member Re-Cognition

From thought has risen
time-space warp prison;
so if we be still,
we regain soul’s will.

Poised in the void thus,
love and light fills us,
which was always there
but now we’re aware.

Vibrant nonchalance
ends fear dalliance
and as the bliss flame,
we play out life’s game.

Mind-body vessel,
is our soul’s vassal.
When both are aligned,
clear truth is divined.

Love as our thimble,
we stop thoughts nimble,
revealing our soul,
now blissful and whole.

Premium Member In Conversation With My Soul

Of time, there is much I will never know.
My eyes trace the heavens for stars aligned—
As the pendulum’s weight swings to and fro,
I marvel, whether by chance or designed?

Of all that is, one fate, to come and go.
Are beasts and man both of some common kind?
Could not the same be said of the willow?
Such wonder filled fantasies cloud the mind.

Of reality, how much is shadow?
How much understanding goes undefined?
What truths may lie beyond such a halo?
Shall I lift the vail or fear the divined?

Dear Universe, with you, I do feel whole.
At peace. A conversation with my soul.

Slow Down and Hush Up

I miss the peace of silent thought--
This worldly pace has grown so fast—
And in its wake that speed has brought

Us woes unknown throughout the past,
And now we find we have to face
A sea of troubles, deep and vast.

If we could only slow that pace
And find a means for its decrease,
Perhaps this unrelenting race

Might finally be made to cease,
And in that silence we might find
Some vestige of elusive peace.

For there at last may be divined
Creativeness of every kind.

Path Through Time

Warn path through time
Covered with nettles and thyme
Sprinkled with relics sublime
Sated with memories from my prime
Bridges crossed, harbored mined
Valleys forged, mountains climbed
Rivers forded, hollows divined
Peaceful pastures forever pined
Showered blessings o'er charted course
Thunderous trials skirted with every resource
Shining beacons along the road did hope reinforce
Clouded dreams abandoned with some remorse
Now channeling through life's narrowing pass
Peering longingly back at the quilted morass

Premium Member The vaporised self

Where’s the stage set to dance today,
upon which nodes within will sway,
to the rhythm of bliss magnetism,
making light of life as they play?

As God’s light ignites body prism,
we discard each and every ism,
by vaporising lower mind,
ending our ego’s scepticism.

In staid stillness, divine aligned,
truth of who we are is divined,
which simply is, we’re living light,
so we become loving and kind.

Having being bestowed clear sight,
no longer fearful seems the night,
thus merging with the vibrant void,
we shine like a star, white and bright.

"Except during the nascent stages of real humility, true love remains quiescent." By Poet

Fragmented Form: A rhyme form created by poetess: Constance La France

Calm and quiescent, yet restless and untamed,
I realize contentment in this particular instance.
      Unruly and unbridled epiphany—feel unashamed,
Their routines are seamless of their existence.
Embedded in my core—words lie idle in my mind,
In an evanescent suffocation, downcast and confined.
Quiescent, craving liberty—eager to be divined,
Regrouping with family upon shelter and care.
Feeling fugacious, free to float forward and flare,
Words have become quiescent—in my dare.
My life has a secret vault in the back, framed,
A sanctum, I retreat to unveil glee in assistance.
My heart unlocks this hide—for who seek to find,
This closet has a door for all who wish to share.
