This Heart Deserves

This heart cannot stand to be ignored;
I no longer want your pity.
The lack of empathy you threw at me—
accusations that never touched my skin—
cut so deep.

Tormented by memories,
things you said and did,
echoes and vibrations of emotions
I still shed like autumn leaves,
fallen.

A perfect pattern of scattered memories
trails behind me.
This bare and barren tree
is rooted so deeply.

It is but the tip,
the edges where the branches meet the sky,
of the deep soul you crushed;
your words repeatedly tore me apart.

No more will I allow you
to sit upon these branches,
enjoying the fresh air
and the magnificent view.
These branches have space only for those
who cherish—
for those who deserve my love.

My broken, beating heart will mend.
I no longer stand for your pity;
I no longer beg for your pardon.

This heart deserves gentleness;
this heart deserves true love.

She Deserves Respect

Whispers of love before the dawn
then morning comes and he's long gone.
A fragile heart in affliction,
she reminisces - days gone by
when young love camouflaged each lie.
Once, his charms were her addiction.
Whispers of love before the dawn
then morning comes and he's long gone.

Moonlit smiles caress her with hope
'til day exposes fraying rope.
A fragile heart in affliction,
Once, his charms were her addiction.
Whispers of love before the dawn
then morning comes and he's long gone.

Premium Member Justice Getting What She Deserves

"Keep walkin, caus we ain't talkin crazy long legs!"

"You're such a weirdo."
"We don't want you round here!"
"Can't you take a hint??"
"What a loser."

She walks away
Like she's walked away
Five hundred and one times before
What has she done?
Why do they hate her so?
Running now
Into the bathroom
She can't let them see her tears
Black mascara runs down her pale white skin

Mercifully no one follows her
Looking in the mirror
She wishes she could disappear
Vanish without a trace
"Stork Girl"
"Big Bird"
"Amazon Woman"
"The Laughing Giraffe"
If only she could be small
Pretty
Like those other girls
The cool cruel ones

She didn't need them to be her friend
All she wanted was to be left alone
To come to school and go home
To have a single quiet day
A "don't stare at me!" day
She takes a tissue out of her purse
Removes the mascara from her eyes and face
Fixes her hair
Takes a deep breath
and goes to her next class

She sits at the back of the class
Never at the front
The new boy
The cool boy
Smiling says hi
He's tall
Like her
Emotions stir

After class he says
"Can you show me around?"
She smiles back and says "Sure"
She can't believe he wants her to
She says "My name is Sue"
He says "I'm glad to meet you,
my name is Simon Loo.
As they walk together down the hall
One of the mean girls
Calls out "Why are you hanging out with big bird!
He turns and says "Get lost loser, Sue's the nicest
and prettiest girl in the school!"
Sue smiles and takes his hand
Suddenly she doesn't wish to be invisible any more.

How Can I Give Jesus Everything That He Deserves?

How can I give Jesus everything that He deserves?
How can I repay Him for His time?
Three long hours he spent upon the Cross of Calvary
That you and I might live eternally.

How can I give Jesus everything that He deserves?
Gold and silver slip right through my hands.
All I have to offer Him is my thanksgiving prayer—
With Jesus, I am rich beyond compare.

He loves me though I’m a sinner,
And He purchased me with all his blood and pain,
And it makes me feel so humble—
His loss upon the Cross became my gain.

How can I give Jesus everything that He deserves?
His suffering and tears have washed me clean.
Forgiving me for all the evil wickedness I’ve done—
Thank God for giving me His only Son.

Free Cee Take a Spin In Crinolinededicated To a Super Singer Who Deserves This Song

TAKE A SPIN IN CRINOLINE

Do you tango?
Do you dance a lot,
my Sir Lancelot?
Do you cha-cha?
And like me you sure are hot?\

Do you mambo?
Do you Lindy Hop?
Do you slow dance?
And does dancing make your champagne pop?

Do you rumba?
Do you shake your butt about?
Do you do the twist?
Now does it make you scream and shout?

This girl must dance as she must breathe
A two step done from two steps away
A breath apart and ready to dance
Wanting to wiggle and set to sway

Does the band believe in you,
The way that it does me?
Is the music your only muse,
And does the music make you free?

So again I ask you……
Do you tango?
Do you dance a lot,
my Sir Lancelot?
Do you cha-cha?
And like me are you hot?
And just like me, baby, are you hot?
    CHANGE MELODY
So do you want to quick step, Mister?
With me in silk crinoline
Don’t peek under my dress demure
As you watch me begin to spin around the floor

We can rumba and drink some rum
We can ch-ch-chance a cha-cha or two
Put your hands forcefully around my waist
Because Mister, it's a moral imperative I dance with you
   © 2012....(c) PHREEPOETREE ~free cee!~

You can lead and lead me anywhere
Places you may have seen before
Like to the bar and back again
But I won’t leave this here dance floor
No I won’t leave this here dance floor

Do you tango with your cheek near mine
And lips so close we share one taste
What is that Mister dancing man,
you don’t dance, oh what a woeful waste?
Yes what a woeful waste

So you don’t tango the way that I do
And your slow dance has slowed to a halt
Well Mister, the fact that you can’t dance
Hell, honey, that ain’t this young chick’s fault

No baby, that ain’t none of this young girl’s fault
No, that ain’t no fault of mine
But let’s not call this love to a halt
Because I said, Mister Mister,
that just ain’t, that just ain’t my faultttttttttttt!

One Good Turn Deserves Another

O-ne good turn deserves another,
N-either hand will do bad;
I-ntelligent deed truly makes
N-ot your heart and soul sad.

M-ake the failure turn
I-nto life's sweet success;
R-ainbow will later appear
A-fter braving the storm of mess.
N-ew dawn has broken,
D-ay twenty-second October;
A-llow the chill to be warm, one good turn deserves another.

He Deserves a Moment of Our Time

He Deserves a Moment
of Our Time.

On the cross He hung & bled.
When taken down . . . He was dead.
But in the grave He would not stay,
O’er even death, He’d have His sway.

Now He sits at God’s right hand,
Through Spirit’s power, rules our land.
He died for sinners. . . you and me,
For in the end.. . . Judgment will be.

But there’s a thing that you must do.
If in “The End “this works for you.
Accept Him now, o’er sin & strife,
Then you may have eternal life.

Then as a token of your thanks,
As you pause for hot beef shanks.
You might say some words of Grace.
Before you stuff your pudgy face.

Written by oldbuck
After he had seen a young family, say
a short blessing together in a busy
eating place. It didn’t take long,
but I’m sure the Lord was smiling.

Premium Member An Artist Deserves His Pay

When all our birds have flown
and milk-weed stalks pose bare,
the katydids are all gone
and leaves scatter here and there;

why would the prince come,
laden with bundles of grain—
his arable year's sum—
and not expect to gain?

We who scoop his yield,
feast on his amplitude,
then bare his playing field,
are insulting and rude.

Please accept this check,
portion out a bit more;
lift us off this poop deck,
we most humbly implore.

Premium Member Thanksgiving My God Deserves

Thanksgiving to God* grips my being ceaselessly
Without Him, I am nothing absolutely.

Bread of life is He midst life’s emptiness
Providing me with His blessings’ fullness.

Light of the world against obscurity
He illumines me with His truth’s verity.

As the Door of the sheep for eternal redemption
He secured my soul against everlasting damnation.

Good Shepherd is He offering love-blessed relationship
Meeting me in our prayer-partnership.

He is the Resurrection vanquishing death’s sting and grave’s victory
Assuring my Holy Spirit’s sealed status of heavenly glory.

As the Way with wisdom’s guidance
He leads me toward faithful stewardship’s abundance.

The Vine is He divinely nourishing His branches
Discipling me thru His Word that preaches and teaches.

Psalm 69:30 I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

No Title Deserves This One

Here I am
Alone
Like I was the one who u I provoked
Silence is my Friend
While u congregate with the one who should be in my role
A joke
That's what I feel like
So what tho right?
Uff it then I'll write
The pen is always in sight
Gotta get u outa my mind
What can I say tho love is blind
It can crush u or bind
Gotta get used to u not being there
Becuz I see how its dwindling yeah
It's obvious
Ain't no point denying this
ur slipping away yeah
I dreaded this would happen
N I see it fading man I can't grasp it
Like a past coming attraction
But these feelings n events I choose to ignore
Becuz what's in my heart is real
N how this feel is rare
So into the night I stare
As u say I don't wanna talk n I say ok yeah
Knowing its me u don't wanna see becuz drama intricately
Find its way into the root u see
Ya'll argued about me
The things u told him n other things that was seen thru the actions of a sneak
I used to be so yes I can speak
So as I suffer from the actions of others n still The past acts of me
I am here waiting for u diligently......Peace

Everyone Deserves a Chance

So many people come and go
Into your life with ebb and flow
Some stick around awhile it seems
Some live in memories and dreams

The higher standard we impose
On those we love, the friends we chose
Will meet our expectations thus
We hold them dear and close to us

It's just a shame that we don't give
A second look to those who live
Within our world and at arm's length
We think that we are showing strength

By never granting second chances
Not so much as furtive glances
We're losing out on humankind
The good in people we might find

So reach out with your other hand
Be the one who makes a stand
You might discover there is worth
In every person from their birth

Karma Serve What She Deserves

Keep spying my words disgruntled
I hope the strain is paining you
the day that I confronted
entitled it’s your job to do

How’s your income
How’s your nerve
here it comes
what you deserve

Reading my words
thinking hard
What will he do
What will he carve

The position way above your head
never should have been given it
now you have a position again
given because you were given then

I should tell your employer
I know you lied to get this job
a people and a soul destroyer
you haven’t really got a lot

Intelligence isn’t evident
and school you never went
A tool who learns a set routine
thinking their the best that’s been

I have the upper hand now
and I will always have it
and you should know just this
It’s nothing more than poetic justice

How’s your income
How’s your nerve
here it comes
what you deserve

I told you I’d have the last word

She Deserves This

She loves pink, says the sparkling pink Christmas tree lingering in the corner
She lives a chaotic, filled life, with no time to spare, says the laundry sprawled all over the floor
She is working on finding God, and crafting a loving relationship with him, says the Bible on her nightstand
She loves and dedicates herself to water-polo, says the bright yellow ball resting by her pillow
She's someone who needs love, says the affirmations calling to her from her mirror
YOU are beautiful, YOU are loved, YOU deserve this.
Words litter her mirror, screaming back at her, but all her eyes can see is the number on the scale
She is surrounded by love, says the pictures on everything in her room
She just can't see it yet
What to do with all that love, but to surround herself with it, hoping one day it’ll reach her
That one day she will see that SHE is beautiful, SHE is loved, SHE deserves this.
